Tuesday: Kobe’s mural receiving key donations for restoration

Remember when somebody did something on the mural of the
Kobe deal in LA. I don't There was a mural
depicting Kobe and Gig in downtown Los Angeles and some people.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Spray painted over it. I don't remember what it was
a while back.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
That's so, the Lakers made a five thousand dollars donation
this week and Luca made another five thousand dollars location.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
And they're going to get this restored. It's the Luca.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Basically said, they gave me so much, so I just
want to give back, and so he's in doctrining himself
quite nicely with the Los Angeles basketball community.

I would put it somewhat in the same notion of
hopefully whoever this idiot or idiots that decided to do this,
it doesn't they don't get revealed because I again, I
would put up in the same realm of if Ulanda
solizar ever made it to be able to walk the streets. Dude,

I didn't like Kobe, but I respect this game.

I was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant during his
time with the Lakers. I didn't want the Lakers to
win because it obviously came at the expense of the Spurs.
But I have said this since his death, since his retirement,
Since when he was playing from two thousand and three
to about twenty twelve, there wasn't another basketball player on

the planet that was better, including Lebron. Had he not
gotten the injuries that he did with the achilles and
the shoulder, I think he could have played two or
three more years if his body would have held up.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
He taxed his body so much that he couldn't.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
There was a limit to how much longer he could
do it, and he realized, no matter how much I train,
I can't what I want to be. That's when he
walked away, still very much high in the game. Uh
And I don't know what the difference is between Kobe
and Michael Jordan. I know that some coaches will always
say Michael was the goat and the greatest of all time.

But but and Michael had two three peats, and and
Kobe had won three peat and and won five championships total.
He did have Shaq for some of those, but but
Jordan had Scottie Pippen, So uh And I do agree
with Kobe Bryant that if Shaq would have had the
same work ethic that Kobe did, they would have never lost.

The Spurs wins and O three oh five and O
seven they don't happen if Shaq heres because Shack just
didn't care. But but those those teams were amazing.

Yeah, I just I don't know who's well.

I say, I don't know who's stupid enough, But there's
always stupid people out there. But I just I don't
get that, of all things.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Get people that there it's something that is personal to
the entire city like that, especially after the way that
Kobe passed exactly, or it's just something random on the
street that you feel unnecessary to paint over because I
want to show off my painting skills. Go find that
blank canvas somewhere and do what you want. Don't just
destroy somebody else's stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah, I don't. I don't get that.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I mean that that would be as if somebody decided
to go in and deface like a tim mural here
or Wimby or something like that, because again, god forbid
if you get found out.

I'm not advocating violence.

I'm just saying that spurs nay, well not just spurs
nation but San Antonio Nation, would you know, not take
too kindly to that.
