Alrighty, it's four fifty three, it's the Andy Everage show
on the tickets. So last week and for several weeks
before the Ryder Cup, the Team USA hired an analytical
firm and they asked the analytical firm, they gave them
all the data that I guess that you would give
about golfers to tell them what they thought would be

According to the computer, the best matchups for four ball
enforceoms for some of us are alternate shot four ball
as you play your own ball best with score wins,
and they're different because you know you're playing you're hitting
the second shot for somebody that drove for you an
alternate shot, and you're playing your own ball through four ball.
(00:45):
And so they had the computer spit this out for
both four ball and forceoms, and the computer said, of
the one hundred and thirty two possible combinations that the
twelve players could be together, that the absolute worst one,
number one thirty two on the list would be the
foursome's team of Harri's English and Colin Marakawa. And I
guess Keigan just didn't believe in analytics, because that's who

he tried it out there on Friday and they got
boat raced. And then he doubled in and sent him
out there again on Saturday and they got boat raced again.
Captain Keegan, man, so what did you hire the analytics
firm for? Now, Listen, if you got a gut feeling,
I'm okay with that, you know how I feel about
all that. But if if the analytics says this is

the absolute worst thing you can do, let your gut
pick something in the middle somewhere. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, that's that's unfortunate that the one time that they
depend on analytics and actually do the study for analytics. Uh,
it was actually right, you know, But we can't say
that too loud. We don't want, you know, we don't
want sky nets to realize that.
