WNBA is not good. It's not never really been good,
and it shows what the lack of accountability towards the officiating.
Kathy Engelbert responded today saying that she's sorry that Nafie
should call your feels this way and that they'll try
to work together to dine out all their differences, et cetera,

et cetera. As I've told you before, I got to
be a part of the WNBA for thirteen years and
I loved every minute of it. The ladies in the
league were great, the coaches were great, got to broadcast games.
It was a ton of fun and it was a job,
but it was It was a great job to have

the thing that I always said I could have I
remember about five years in a row we interviewed, we
were asked to interview Donna Or who was the then commissioner,
and we would run it in either partial segments at
a halftime for the next couple of games. And I
do like ten minutes with her, and we'd chop it
up for two or three or four three minute segments

and run it. And I could have run the same
interview every year because the questions may have been a
little bit different, but the answers were always the same.
This is what our plans are, and there was never

do it. They were phenomenal human beings. They were some

of the nicest people you'll ever meet, but they just
didn't understand what they were trying to pull off. At
least that was my take, because the same interview I
ran in three in four or it was say five, six,
seven eight, when she was the commissioner, it seemed to
be the same. And they're not sports leaders that they

picked to run the WNBA. They're leaders of industry that
they helped can run at sports league. But they need
to pick people who know how to run a sports league.
And I think that's where the disconnect is with the WNBA.
