The Colorado Rockies terrible season just hit a historically bad mark.

over here. And this is in Oregon, up against the
coast of the Pacific Ocean, and it's looking cold. It's
starting to look cold because the FOG's rolling in. It

was so funny. I saw a thing the other day.
I saw a thing the other day yesterday. It's a
heat wave in southern California.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Oh no, what was it seventy eight?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
It was seventy nine in Santa.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Bar I don't know how they live over.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Seventy nine degrees in Santa Barbara. But too much smoke
from yet another fire. There's a fire up in Santa
Maria in that area, which is it's not that's on
the northern end of Santa Barbara County, and just you know,
it went from two thousand acres to like seventy thousand
immediately because it's dry and it's hot.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
It's hot there. It's hot in La.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I think in La it's like, you know, one hundred
degrees in the San Fernando Valley, but in Santa Barbara,
just seventy nine. That's so funny because my mom will
call me and say, it's so hot.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
How hot is it?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Ma?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
It's so hot.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's like seventy nine degrees? Okay, Ma? Whatever?

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Does she have an ac there? No, No, they don't know.
Did they not sell them?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
They don't. Oh yeah they do, but just don't.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
The ac is called open the window, That's what that is. Yeah,
they get that little sea breeze coming in there. I
mean she lives in a place. Well where she lives,
it's called the world's safest beach because the tide, you know,
tide comes in, it's about a foot and a half. Oh,
tide goes out, it's about a foot.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
By the way you were asking.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Spurs training camp officially starts October third, and veterans are
expected to report October.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Second because they've got more stuff to unpack. I guess, yeah,
right around the corner.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
She had a baseball thing.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Oh, yes, we had a that's baseball moment. What the
Toronto Blue Jays. We just finished up a three game
series against the lonely Colorado Rockies.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Wow. Man, that's a bad team too.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Totaled up sixty three total hits in a three game
sweep of the Rockies, which has been the most since
the nineteen hundreds.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Really, that's baseball.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I mean sixty three hits across three games. That's twenty
one a game. That's a lot.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
They won, if I believe I'm not mistaken. They won
twenty to one today against the Colorado Rockies.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
And were they playing in Colorado? They were playing in Coloradan.
I thought, you know, apparently apparently the thin air only
works for the opposing team.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Twenty to one.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yes, sir, oh, that's like the little league game last
night Nevada and Utah were playing. They kept going touchdowns.
It was I think the final was like twenty one
to twelve. I mean it was a it was a route.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
So somehow the Colorado Rockies are thirty and eighty four.
I don't know how they won thirty games.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I believe that they are thirty three or thirty five
games behind the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
It's they're way back.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
So you're telling me there's still a chance.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Still a chance if they sweep the rest of if
they go on a on a two month winning streak,
they might hit five hundred, and that would be that.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
They're only thirty three games behind the San Diego Padres.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
And San Diego isn't even in the lead.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, they are second. They are behind the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
