Tom Sillow. He's fifty eight years old, he's a powerlifting champion,

and now he is a college football freshman. What Tom
kind of missed his shot at football as a teenager.
He lost some of his years to addiction and the
struggles that came with that, but he fought back.

He built a really beautiful life.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
He raised a family, and he set some pretty incredible
strength records, including a five hundred and eighty pound deadlift.

Just last year. Geese A Skuy's jacked.

This summer, he walked onto the field at Lye Coming College,
training side by side with players young enough to be
his kids.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Not easy to training.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Camp was grueling, but Tom kept up running conditioning drills,
pushing through practices, and inspiring his teammates with his determination.
Now he's pursuing both a criminal justice degree and his
dream of playing college football.

Look at you.

Tom says he's doing it to show others that you're
never too old. It's never too late. Rewrite your story
if you want to rewrite your story. His daughter Nicole
said it best. I was surprised, but not really. My
dad has always done things like this that just inspire.
