It's not just about abs and adorable animals, although there
are plenty of both. The beloved calendar features real Australian
firefighters opposing, often hirtless. Although I'm not sure that's a
super important detail because this is for charity after all,
sure yep. Solo or alongside rescue animals. Proceeds support animal
welfare groups, children's hospitals, mental health programs for first responders,

and disaster recovery efforts in both Australia and around the world.
This year's lineup in fludes five themed additions. You can
get the dog calendar, oh jeez, the cat, the Horse,
the mixed Animal and Hero, which features just the solo
portraits of the firefighters.

Over the years, friends from the calendar have helped sale,
have helped save communities rebuild after hurricanes in the US,
They've supported animals displaced by California wildfires and aided flood

recovery in Texas. So this actually does carry a little
bit of weight in the charity world. One firefighter, Lincoln Decker,
says this year's efforts hit kind of close to home.
His sister lives near a flood affected area in Texas.
He said, it gives me great pride to be able
to be part of the supporting community. And yes, these

heroes even make an annual appearance at cat Con in California.
They are just as committed off the screen as they
