Earlier this week, two West Michigan high schools went head
to head, but what they really delivered was comfort, connection
and hope the Battle of the Blankets Coopersville High School

Sparta High School, and of course, in partnership with I Understand,
they turned it into something much bigger than just a
friendly competition. They ended up donating more than one hundred
and fifty blanket Oh that's incredible, very incredible. Students at

both schools showed up in a huge way, donating blankets
and decorating handwritten pink heart positivity notes, each one going
out with a blanket to bring comfort to people navigating
mental and brain health challenges at Pine Rest and forest View.
And by the end of the day the results were
in and it was Cooper'sville that was okay, all right, Coopersville,

So for all their hard work and all of their donations,
they now get a well deserved pizza party for their
student council. Sparta came in strong too, and both schools
proved that this really wasn't about the winning, It was
about showing up and doing something impactful in the community.
Students received more than five hundred pink heart stress balls

and nearly one thousand mental health resource cards, spreading reminders
that it's okay, it's okay to ask for help and
that no one has to walk through hard things alone. Also,
that's what winners say. It wasn't about winning. It wasn't
about winning. I'm just kidding, I'm kidding. Both schools have
already confirmed that it meant so much to them their

game to do it again next year. Oh that's great. Yeah,
isn't that cool? Sometimes the biggest wins don't come with
