Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is awesome. B ninety three Awesome Sauce start today
on a positive note. We call it Awesome Sauce weekday
mornings around six ten right here on the B ninety
three Morning Show, brought to you by Modernistic. This happens,
I feel like every single year, but every single year,
I think it needs to be talked about because I
think it's a really really cool thing, especially when a
(00:23):
kid does it. This is from CBS News. A Colorado
homes doorbell camera found a child refilling an empty bowl
with his own Halloween candy. The boy had several of
his friends approached the home and noticed the candy bowl
was empty. After the others asked what they should do,
the boy grabbed several handfuls of candy from his own
bag and put it in a bowl for other trick
(00:43):
or treaders. This is a moment as a kid, we
can all remember. It was a moment where you saw
it was empty and you got no candy, and it
was a moment to decide whether or not you're gonna
be a good human being. You're gonna just be an
average human being who walks away, or you're gonna be
kind of make a bad decision in that moment and
do something in a trick or treat right and this
kid made the right choice. The family posted the video
(01:05):
of the boy's kindness on the next door website, hoping
to find out who he was and who his parents were.
They're hoping to meet him so they can give him
some candy and say thank you. This is one of
the coolest moments in during Halloween. This is when you
realize your children are really really learning the right things,
learning the positive things, learning to give to others, learning
(01:28):
that there's something bigger than just a piece of candy,
And it's really really cool to see. To me, it's
like the cart theory. You ever seen the grocery cart
theory or heard about it. You don't have to put
a grocery cart back. It's not illegal. It's not illegal
for them to take candy or not take candy or whatever.
But it shows how good of a person you are
if you put that grocery cart back. It shows how
(01:48):
good of a person you are if you feel that
candy bowl back up and realize that others are gonna
smile because of it. So props to this kid out
of Colorado. Props to the family who posted the video.
And props to the parents of this children or this
child because you could tell they're raising them the right way.
Start your day on a positive note. We call it
