In Yorktown, Virginia, an eighty one year old Walmart worker
and Vietnam Vette, Thomas Bradshaw, has captured the hearts of

the community. Thomas had to return to work after running
through his entire life savings while caring for his wife
following four heart attacks. Despite walking with a cane, he
shows up for long shifts as a receipt checker, always
with a kind word and a smile for customers. One
of those customers, Sandra Emerson, was so moved by his

story that she started a small crowdfund, hoping to raise
just one thousand bucks to ease his burden. Sure, yeah,
probably sees that many people in a shift. If everyone
donated a dollar, there you go. But within twenty four hours,
donations soared past ten grand. Just a couple of days,
more than eighteen thousand dollars poured in for more than

four hundred donors. When Sandra told Thomas about the outpouring
of support, he was overwhelmed. With gratitude. She says he
told her this is going to bless my life in
ways you can't even imagine. Oh my gosh, proof that
even in tough times, compassionate kindness ripple outward and together
