Speaker 1 (00:00):
Start your day on a positive note. Awesome Sauce weekday
mornings with the B ninety three Morning Show. This story
is all about one very good girl who may not
have a certificate, but she has the heart of a hero.
Over the weekend, the Friends of Campbell County Animal Control
in Virginia hosted an adoption event. This is a dog
story what There were tail wags, belly rubs, and then
(00:23):
a moment that left everybody absolutely stunned. Sienna, a sheltered
dog with no formal training, was mingling with the visitors
when she suddenly broke away from the group. She walked
straight over to a man that she had never met,
gently placed her paw on his leg, and then didn't
leave his side. And you know, sometimes this happens. I
(00:44):
always say, they choose you, you don't choose them. Turns
out the man was about to have a seizure.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
What yeah, how does the dog know?
Speaker 1 (00:54):
I don't know. His wife, Kristen, later shared that she'd
been or that he had been having some myoclonic seizure
that morning and he was still kind of recovering. Somehow,
the sweet pup sensed that something was wrong before anyone
else did. Siena wasn't able to go home with the
couple they already have three dogs, but the love didn't
stop there. After the shelter shared her story, three people
(01:17):
offered to pay her adoption fee, and now she has
a line of people hoping to bring her home. The
shelter put it best, sometimes the ones we rescue are
the ones who end up rescuing us. I love that
so much, Sienna, you're a very very good girl. No
formal training.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I know that's pretty We don't deserve dogs. We don't
deserve dogs. They're way too good for us. They're way
they're they're they're amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
How do they know?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
How do they know? It's absolutely incredible. That's how you
start your day on a positive note. Go adopt a dog.
We've got a lot of them in West Michigan. Siena
might not be available because she's in Virginia and she's
got to line out the door.
