i can help with. THIS a group of about thirty
ducks have chosen a pretty unusual spot to, sleep the
middle of a cobblestone parking lot in the town. Center,
now why are you laughing? Already this isn't exactly the

safest place for them to, be especially when there's car traffic.

Involved because most people are, like you know, WHAT i
really like the weather In, FLORIDA i really LIKE i really,

property taxes are really good.

Ducks thirty.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Ducks have you ever seen thirty ducks in? Place it's
the cutest Thing i've ever. Seen but they are in
a little bit of harm's way because there this is
just like a cobblestone parking lot in the middle of
the town. Center so what did the people Of, Thirsk england?

what's that they formed a duck. Patrol fifteen local volunteers

now rotate shifts every single night to escort the ducks
and honor really from the river to their chosen snooze.
Spot the only thing that gets me about this is
that it's a little bit. Late it's eight thirty eight,
thirties a little bit late for.

That the ducks start their fifteen minute journey from The
Codbeck river and their human guardians walk alongside them Like
Feathery royalty in a bedtime. Parade once the ducks settle,
in the volunteers set up traffic cones and stay on,
watch sometimes until two thirty in the, morning to make

sure the flock stays safe until. Sunrise but here's the best.
Part it's not about the ducks, anymore. Huh one of the, Volunteers,
emma says the patrol has created real friendships and a
deep sense of community, spirit and people who never knew
each other before are now connected by a shared love
of these little birds and the joy of doing something kind.
