On Sunday morning, in Southfield, Michigan, a BP gas station
did something totally unexpected. They dropped their gas prices to
a dollar ninety nine. How did that go? Oh? How
do you think? You? Absolute madness? Now, Usually gas stations
don't do this. Usually, especially when they're on a corner
across for another one. You sort of see them get

into a little like we'll drop it by a couple cents,
drop it by a couple cents. Someone raises it again.
Oh yeah, yeah, but this was just a thank you
to loyal customers. One woman stopped in for a bag
of chips. When she saw the sign, she filled up
real fast. Another driver heard about it on the news,
drove all the way from Mount Clemmons, it's about forty
five minute drive, just to catch the deal. Why the

crazy low price, while the owner says his customers stuck
with him through three months of brutal road construction. Oh,
they never stopped coming in. So this was his and
his family's way of giving back and saying, hey, thank you.
We know that this was a pain, and you guys
still made it in. You still made it a point

to come to the store and keep us going, and
we appreciate that. I love that. It also tells me
that they can lower the guests whenever they want. Yeah,
his customers aren't just his patrons, he says that they
are family, and seeing the smiles and the surprise and
the full tanks was totally worth it to him. I

minutes stick to get gas. I know. So today's awesome

on the east side of the state and everyone out
there who runs a business with heart instead of just
