Morning Show. There's been like one hundred million dollars raised
on GoFundMe for California wildfire victims. Incredible, which is amazing. Yeah,
you know, it's sad that for all of us to

come together, something catastrophic has to happen, but it does
kind of restore your faith in humanity a little bit
when people support other people, you know, especially across the country.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
You know, yeah, we're gonna have a differences, We're gonna
have this and that, but like, yes, we used nine
times out of ten, if not ten times out of ten,
we come together at stuff like this.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, but what about the stuff that you can't replace Online?
Members of an Instagram page called Working mom Notes have
started a campaign to recover special toys for kids who
have been affected by the California wildfires. The project is
called the La Wildfire ste Animal Recovery List. It's described

as a community effort to bring comfort to kids. The
Working mom Notes group set up a very detailed spreadsheet
and invited evacuated families to list special sentimental toys like stuffies. Yeah,
your kids have They've got their stuffy. Yeah, Yeah, they
can't be without it. It's their favorite one.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
That's so funny. I've never heard it called stuffy outside
of our I assume everybody calls it a stuffed animal
or stuffy, but I've never heard somebody call it a
stuffy outside of our house. Yeah, that's funny.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
In hopes of these toys being replaced with donations, of course,
the organizers and those donating know that the originals, unfortunately
cannot be returned. But thanks to the spreadsheet, they are
trying to find exact replacements.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
That's amazing. Yeah, because the kid's stuffy once they have one,
once they're locked into one, you can't it's almost irreplaceable.
You have to find the exact same one.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, So that's what they're doing. They're looking for exact
replacements to try to get them into the hands of
the kids who lost them. Working mom notes on Instagram.
The detailed spreadsheet is up with all the information, So
maybe you can find one of these stuffies and make
a kid's day. Check it out and see what I
can find online. But I thought that was pretty cool.
