Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is awesome.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
B ninety three. Awesome sauce. Start your day on a
positive note. Awesome sauce right around six ten weekday mornings
with the B ninety three Morning Show. This is incredible.
This is like unheard of. At just ten years old,
Alissa Paralis from San Bernardino, California is set to receive

(00:23):
not one, but two associate's degrees, making her the youngest
graduate in the history of Crafton Hills College.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Talk about a prodigy. Yeah. Alyssa has been homeschooling since
she was just one years old and learning algebra at
age five. Enrolled in college at age eight.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I wasn't I was still watching like Blues Clues.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
That's like second grade.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Where she earned degrees in multiple sciences and mathematics, all
with a near perfect GPA. That's amazing, she said. It's
really fun to me, almost as fun as playing outside
or riding a bike or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
No, I know that I just enjoyed learning. Good for you.
I bet your parents are very excited.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
No kidding, But that student debt starts early, doesn't it.
Her next steps will involve a bigger college, she said,
I'm going to plan on transferring to hopefully Stanford. No
big deal. I've applied there a couple months ago and
I'm still waiting a response from them.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Ken is legally Kenna. A ten year old go to college?
I think so, I guess why not? But yeah, I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Alyssa said she hopes to pursue a career in computer science,
but whatever profession she chooses. Her dad said, this guy
is the limit. She's only getting started. He said, that's
what shocks me the most. It's been a short ten years,
but you know, we've covered a lot of ground. Just
so nonchalant about it. Ten years old, she's got two
associates degrees and she's waiting to hear back from Stanford.

(01:58):
I mean, good, free you. That's pretty awesome.
