Speaker 1 (00:02):
Michigan's number one for New country B ninety three. It's
the B ninety three Morning Show. I'm Ali Mack and
I'm Mike and we are twenty in a row commercial
free looking forward to Mike's full review. No spoilers though,
No Deadpool and Wolverine.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
No, no, no.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
You went to see it by yourself on Friday, like
a look a weirdo?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Like, yeah, well, because, uh, the thought was I could
do it while we're I could leave work a little early,
go see the movie, be home on the same exact
time that I always get home right. What I didn't
do and I thought I did at some point because
it was last minute, was I didn't talk to my
wife about it and never even actually like invited her.

(00:44):
So that conversation when she found out was very uncomfortable
because she found out because she was mad.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
She was furious, like why.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Not that I was going alone, which she thought was
weird to begin with, but that I didn't even ask
her to go.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
To be fair, you thought it was weird that you
were going alone too. You were very uncomfy about this.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, I don't think it's weird for like, like for
anybody to go alone. If you want to go alone,
that's fine, but I find it uncomfortable. I find it
very uncomfortable to do certain things alone. I don't like
going to a restaurant alone. I don't like going to
a movie alone. But I wanted to see this movie.
I knew it was going to be like a big,
huge weekend for it. They had these like cups in

(01:31):
buckets and all this stuff you could buy only this weekend,
I thought.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
And so I go.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
To the movie, right, I go at eleven thirty, and
I'm still uncomfortable because it is a movie by myself.
So I'm texting her the whole time, like, hey, I'm
going to this why blah blah lah.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I'm walking in the door.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I walk in, and I'm not exaggerating, I'm not embellishing
at all a little or at all. I mean, there
was about forty people in the theater and it was
solo dudes. It was all solo dudes and maybe like
a couple of dudes like together, and then a couple
couple there, and that was it.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So I walked in. Even the guy in front of
me was by him who had to bias tickets.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Found your people?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
I found my people.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
If you get their numbers so that you could not
go alone next time.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
No, because we're all awkward dudes who went to the
movies at eleven thirty on a Friday by themselves, and
so we didn't want to acknowledge that anybody else had
gone to the movie, because like even the guy in
front of me bought a ticket and he was I
was like, oh, somebody's gonna walk up, and he's like,
one ticket for Deadpool please.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I'm like, Shure, that's wild. I've never seen that before.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
That's cool, that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
And then I walk in and it's all.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Like I took a video of it because I was
so blown away by like how wild it was that
everybody was doing that, And I should have made friends
with him because none of my friends are are available
at eleven thirty on a Friday or during the week
at all.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Oh wow. There really should have been like someone from
the movie theater there to be like, okay, everybody, pass
your number to the person to the last. It's the
ninety three Morning Show. I'm Ali Max and I'm Mike. So,
without giving us anny spoilers, how was the movie? How
was Deadpool and Wolverine?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
See I'm a huge like Marvel fan in general, I
loved it.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I thought it wrapped up.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
The the trilogy nicely with Deadpool.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I like that they brought Wolverine back.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
They included a lot of like metaverse stuff, which so
this is this.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Is the last one for sure, right that he'll probably
do by himself.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
So it's the last like Deadpool movie, but they'll be
like Deadpool characters I think in other Marvels and other
Marvel movies. Yeah, it is, and there that doesn't mean
that this is the last Deadpool movie. It could there
always could be more, but as of right now, this
is what it seems like. But again, there's there's different

(03:57):
alternate realities and universes, so it could.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
It could go on forever and ever and ever.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
In theory, that's why Robert Downey Junior is coming back
as a villain in a whole nother like series because
you can do whatever you want here. You can kind
of play around with it and do whatever. Plus, there
was a lot of cameos from different people. I'm not
gonna list any of them. Yeah, but that is I
loved it as a fan.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
And then so what's the like because the one thing
that I wanted to know, and I am very much
a spoiler's person. Okay, I'm probably not gonna see this
movie for a long time, like maybe ears Okay, so
I had to know who Lady Deadpool was. So actually
I did have Mike text me that spoiler, and I
won't I won't say yeah in case you haven't seen

(04:40):
it yet, But like, what's the thing there?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
What do you mean? Like?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Who, who is Lady Deadpool? Why is there a Lady Deadpool?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
There's need one, there's alternate realities, so there are many
different Deadpools I see, so there's like different versions of it,
and that's where Lady Deadpool comes in, and there.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Was just something they needed a little obsist with.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Or I think, uh no, I just think that this
is the yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah what yes. So
there's a reason that all those dead Pools come out
at once, and there's a reason, which they've shown that
that scene a million times, so you could see that anywhere.
But also there's I believe there was even in the comics,
different versions of Deadpool, which is kind of cool, especially
when you see who plays all these characters.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
It'll make sense.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I gotta say I was a little disappointed when I
got the text from you. Why because I just wasn't
I wasn't expecting that name, but I was expecting that name,
and I feel like it was the most obvious choice.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah, this is that's why I think this.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I was like, oh, that's why part of me thinks
that this is why it's wrapping up is because of
who is in this movie.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I think it was. I don't know, I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
All right, well, go see Deadpool and Wolverine.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah it's worth it, but bring your wife.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
But because otherwise you'll have to do multiple other things
to make up for it.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yes,
