Speaker 1 (00:00):
Michigan's number one for New country ben Netty three. Something
weird it's going on at aldi Max's house. Uh oh,
last week, go out to get the mail. Sure, there's
like two big packages on my porch and I'm like,
what is this?
Speaker 2 (00:15):
I didn't order anything? And I bring them inside.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
I look it over because sometimes that happens, like I
have received packages that weren't for me at my house.
Oh yeah yeah, and they just like got I don't know,
dropped off at the wrong porch a couple houses down,
return it back to my neighbor, went about my way.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
These have my address on them, so that's why I'm confused.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Does this say your name on them too?
Speaker 1 (00:41):
No, okay, it doesn't say my name on them. It
doesn't say anyone's name on them.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Interesting, which I thought was weird.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
So I'm like texting yimmy, texting my mom, texting my
friend who's like coming into town for the weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
I'm like, did you order something? And like have it
dropped off at my house?
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah, And it says the company name on the box.
And I look it up and they're like these fans
or what I think they are? Are these like big
tower fans.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Oh I thought you were saying.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Okay, I thought you're saying the person was fans, like
they were fans of you.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
No, okay, these are like actual, like big standing, like
cooling fans.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Oh nice.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Yeah, from what I can see online, And I look
up the company and it looks like it's legit, and
everyone's like, no, we didn't send you anything.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
No, we didn't send anything. What do I do with these?
Speaker 1 (01:36):
It has your address on them, it has my address
on it, And I'm like, what are the chances that
someone like messes up and puts my exact address on it?
And I'm thinking, like, okay, maybe they got like one
of the numbers wrong. Sometimes that happens if you're like
ordering online and you're on your phone and we like
we fat finger it and you know.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
We mess it up.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
So I'm like looking at all of these different addresses,
like maybe the first numbers wrong, maybe the second numbers wrong,
maybe the third numbers wrong.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
But I have a southeast at the end of my address,
uh huh.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
And like, none of the combinations that I put in
with the southeast and my street come up with anything
that would lead me to believe that this was like,
someone is missing these like two fans.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
It's funny too, because it's two. It's not just one.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
It's not just one, it's two, it's two.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
I mean I have a guilty conscience, so I or
I uh, I don't have a guilty conscience. I would
have a guilty conscience, so I would want to say
something like I'd want to figure it out and find it.
But at some point, I've said it already. You can't
block your blessings. You the Lord clearly wanted you to
have a fan, not only one, but two of them
(02:50):
at some point, and so they delivered.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I've asked my mom my sisters, yimmy, like should I
like try to get a hold of this company and
like get these to where they need to be and
like send them back.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
It's gonna cost them more money for you to send
them back than it would for you to just keep them.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
I'm I'm so perplexed by this. I've looked online and
there's like something called like a brushing scam. My sister
was like, maybe it's that, like sometimes companies will just
send stuff to random addresses because they need like the
order number to post like fake reviews online.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Oh, really, And I.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Gimme, like looked up the company and he's like, yeah,
it doesn't seem like that is what's going on because
this company there's like nothing online about it, Like this
just really seems like something happened.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Someone got their address wrong. And what do I do?
Speaker 4 (03:38):
I'm torn here because I believe in karma as well.
Thank you, I believe in karma as well. However, maybe
you deserve maybe you have good karma coming and this
was your your payoff for your good karma.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
That would I mean.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Six one six two four to two ninety three ninety three?
Has has ever happened to you? And like, what did
you do? It's the b nainety three Morning Show. I'm
Ali Mack, and I'm I'm a little bit nervous because
I don't want to get in trouble.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
I don't know how I would, but I don't think
the SWAT team's waiting for you and all the things
they gotta worry about.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
That's exactly what I'm picturing in my head.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
He's like waiting for me to open this these two packages,
uh huh.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
And see what they are? For real?
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Last week, these like two huge packages just like showed
up on my porch, and I'm like, oh, must just
be the wrong address. So I look and nope, it's
my address.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
See it's it's for you.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
There's no names on these labels, uh huh. And I
look up the company because I can sort of see
like the logo on the boxes. And what I think
is in these packages are two tower fans. Oh Like
they sit on the floor obviously, and they're like tall
and kind of skinny, and they go back and forth.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
These ones are the ones you can like put water in.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
I think, oh, those are they might be outdoor out
were they missed.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
No, they don't look like they'd be like there's an
actual like indoor cord and stuff.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
They don't look like they'd stand up to the elements.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Okay, I mean you probably could put it outside, but yeah,
but I don't know what to do with these things.
They just showed up. I thought, well, I'll just whoever
they're intended for. Maybe there's a name on here or
there's something on here that would give me an idea
and I can just porch drop these.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
But it's just my address.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
I mean, if there's a heat wave coming, somebody somewhere thought,
you know what you need this fan, So it's a
it's a don't block your blessings.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
This is a blessing in disguise.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
I know.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
I've talked to a couple different people that are like
those are yours now, And I'm not against it. I
just feel like I need to take certain steps to
like try to get these to the rightful owners, maybe
before I decide that these are free gifts six one
(05:58):
six two forts at ninety three ninety three. Do you
ever have this happen to you before?
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Good morning? Welcome to the b ninety three Morning Show.
What's your name and where you're from?
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Missed the good I don't know if these packages were
like something that someone like send because I'm looking up
the addresses and I thought maybe someone just like typed
their addressing wrong. Sure, and no, it's just like really
because my address has a southeast at the end of it. Yeah,
and I feel like it would be pretty hard.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Yeah, it's interesting that they don't have your name on
it or return anything on it.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
No, like that's that's the bizarre part.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
And someone suggested, like just drop them back off at
the at whoever dropped them off ups or FedEx or whatever.
I didn't see who dropped them off and on the
label it didn't like say necessarily, so I'll have to
do some digging and try to find.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
It that today. But I just I don't know what
to do.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Random packages show upon your porch, like I don't want
to open it because I know it's like illegal to
open someone else's mail.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Good morning, Welcome to the B ninety three Morning Show.
What's your name and where you from?
Speaker 5 (07:08):
Hi? I'm Melissa and I'm from Scott's, Michigan.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
All right, what should Ali do? She just got two
random boxes delivered to her house. There is no return
to send her on there, there was no address to
send back.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
There's no name, but it's her address.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
I am going to say those are her blessings because
I used to look at it the same exact way.
I was so scared when I got an unidentified package
one time. I literally called the police because I don't know,
I thought it was a bum. So yeah, so I
can say now I feel a lot calmer when I
(07:44):
get an unidentified package because my mom has sent me
things and not told me. My cousin has sent me things.
I've had friends that send me sayings, and sometimes there's
like that little gift note in there, and sometimes there's not,
and like a year later somebody would be like, so
did you like it?
Speaker 1 (08:04):
So okay, how often is this happening to people? Because
this has never happened like this before. I've gotten a
random package on my porch where like it had my
neighbor's address on it.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
So I was like, oh, just wrong, delivered to the
wrong house.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Sure, just walked it over there, put it on their porch,
good to go, But this is stuff I didn't order.
Texted my mom, texted my sisters, texted yimmy, like, did
anybody I had friends in town this weekend? I texted
them and I was like, did you have stuff to
delivered at my house for when you're coming into town?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
They were all like, lol, No, You're so much more
polite than there's these people there far down my road.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Like my immediate neighbors I'm pretty tight with now.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
I like them all and they I don't know if
they like me or not, but we're pretty tight either way.
I have neighbors down the road, like I don't know
if I five minutes down the road that not only
opened the package, they saw my name was on there
and brought it to me, which was great, but they
had rummaged through the package.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
First if if there was anything they wanted.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Mike from Rockford said, this isn't a package, but once
had a roomba just sitting there, no packaging, just a
robot vacuum on the porch. Still don't know if it
was delivered wrong or if someone just wanted me to
clean more. That sounds like a porch drop and somebody
got the wrong address.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
I'm telling you this is, this is I would. I
would the karma from it. I understand, like you don't
want the bad karma, the guilt from it.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
I understand.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Well if it were me and I had ordered because
I think what these are are big tower fans, like
nice fans from what I have been able to figure
out online. Okay, And if I had ordered these and
they got delivered to the wrong house and it's supposed
to be like one hundred degrees this week, I would.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Be so upset.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
On the other end, though, maybe you just have good
karma coming and somebody knew it's going to be one
hundred degrees this week and they sent you these fans.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
The thing that gives me is that it's like my address,
like perf, my to A, to the letter. Okay, so
I'm like, who messes up there addressed?
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Have you had anything?
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Have you had any conversations these last couple of weeks
to anybody do you need fans?
Speaker 3 (10:11):
I don't know if you need.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Fans even I mean, I don't know. I haven't manifested anything.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
If that's what you mean, well, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
If you had a conversation where we were like, man,
it's so hot at my house, I wish I had
a fan, and somebody's like, that's not
Speaker 2 (10:21):
The kind of fans I meant
