Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good the morning. Welcome to the B ninety three Mornings Show.
My name is Mike Alli mack out on vacation. She
will be back on Monday. And I didn't want to
tell this story before she went on vacation because she's
going on that River White rout of rafting trip and
I didn't want her to think about even getting hurt,
because she's pretty pretty nervous about that. But I did
want to share this story because it is it is
(00:22):
kind of wild.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
I went camping over the.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Weekend and we went out to Ohio, and that's why
I was gone for a couple of days.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
We went to Hocking Hills. It's absolutely beautiful.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
It's almost one of the I can't even believe, honestly,
it's in Ohio, because not that there's anything wrong with Ohio,
but I wouldn't have guessed that there was this there. Anyways.
My mom was the reason we went. She got the trip.
Her and her husband call me or text me on
the way to camping. So we're driving out to Ohio
Thursday and I get a text and it says we
(00:54):
tried to move the camper off of like the I
guess it got caught on the trailer hitch when they
were loading it on, and so instead of like just
lifting it back up and just moving the car, I
guess they tried to just nudge it with their hands,
but their hand, one of their hands got caught under
were the hitch and the camper connect. Which if this
isn't a sign to get one of those automatic raising
(01:19):
and lowering things from like veerings or whatever, this is
a sign to get one of those, because I saw
I thought about it all weekend and it dropped on their
hands taking off like removing things, removing Oh, I can't
even say it. It was wild to hear. I even
saw pictures of it. And now like that's that's his summer, right,
that's he's in a cast, missing a couple pieces of
(01:43):
his finger. It's I never, ever, in a million years
put your hands there. Don't ever do that ever, ever, ever, ever,
No hands should be near the hitch in the ball
while it's being loaded on. That's my PSA for the day.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
That would be it.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
But I want to know, because we've all been there.
That's an extreme one, right one six two two ninety three,
ninety three, What how did you get injured? Right as
summer was starting because we've all done it. I broke
my collar bone one summer and was stuck in one
of those vest things all summer long.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
We'll grab your calls.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Coming up next, it's a B ninety three morning show
six one, six two, two ninety three, ninety three from
Michigan's number one for New country, B ninety three. It's
a B ninety three morning show. My name is Mike
Allimack out on vacation. We're talking summer break injuries. I
witnessed a wild injury that almost has me getting an
automatic lift for my for my camper at this point.
(02:36):
I didn't witness it either, but the people that were
supposed to go camping with us, they dropped the camper
on their hand by putting their hand in the trailer
hitching the ball while it was stuck.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Don't ever, ever in a million years do this.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
I'll never put your hand by a camper, hitch or ball,
especially while you're loading it on. But it made me
think of like summer break like injuries. Things that we've
done over the summer didn't necessarily ruin the summer, but
it could have. Six one, six two four two ninety
three nine Three's from Hastings Breanno, what happen to you?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Okay, so we will in the process of moving. I
just ended my fourth grade year, going into fifth grade.
My mom put a box of plate and this is
in front of my room. No, I was in there,
(03:25):
and I thought it was a smart idea to jump
over the box. And I landed in the box, breaking
a plate or a cap or something, and it brow
it right in my foot and hit the main artery
right there at the arch.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Oh my god, that's out of a movie. Now, let
me ask you a question. Did you get to do
anything for the rest of the summer or were you
just done?
Speaker 3 (03:53):
I couldn't even move that foot, and it was like
right in the beginning of right in the beginning of summer.
So I'm like, I just want to go swimming, like
my siblings are going swimming.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
And I'm like, does it affect you today at all?
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Or no?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Are you good?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
If I'm walking long period of time, then yes, because
it's right on the arm of our foot. So we're
like the starst uh huh, Like try to like stretch.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Gives me the heavy jamies the same as the fingers.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Thing.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Like all I kept thinking was like what that would
feel like. Thank you for the call. I'm glad you're okay.

(05:26):
I got a text message saying that the people we
were going with, I don't want to necessarily shout them out,
but the camper they were hooking up the trailer hitch
to the camper or the yeah, the trailer hitch of
the camper, the camper on the trailer hitch, and for
some reason put their hands in to nudge the hitch
over a little and it fell on their fingers. Fingers
(05:47):
were gone after that. But I want to know how
did you get injured during summer break, because we've all
been there. I broke a collarbone before six one, six two,
three ninety three. Good morning, Welcome to the B ninety
three morning show.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
What's your name?
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Away from show from Hastings? All right, Michelle, what how
did you get injured? Right as summer break was starting.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
On a three wheeler and motorcycle and crashed on it
and it ended up rolling over on top of me.
And as I tried to turn to squeeze out from
under it, I grabbed the exhaust pipe with my hand.
Third burns on the whole bomb of my hand.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Oh my gosh, that sound, I can feel it.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
These are the type of stories I can feel like
I feel yeah, oh my gosh, that's so hot too,
and it hurts. I put my leg on the side
of one of those before and it is just just
quickly it's painful. I can't imagine. Now, were you done
for the summer?
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Then?
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Oh yeah, the whole summer.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
My hand had to be wrapped up.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
I had to get it changed and everything. I had
to blister all across my hands.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Is everything good now, though, smer?
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Oh yeah, it's great. You can't even tell it now.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah, yeah, oh geez. Thank you for the call. I
appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (07:02):

your pain. Michigan's number one for the New Country. It's
B ninety three with the B ninety three Morning Show.
My name is Mike. Six one six two four two
ninety three ninety three.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
I witnessed uh right before my camping trip to Ohio
this last weekend. The camper tongue and the trailer hitch
they were like held up a little bit, and the
people who were going camping with like try to move
it with their hands, which I'll say this again. You
should never do never touch a trailer hitch or a
(07:40):
camper tongue while they're connected.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
That's just a recipe for danger. Smash their fingers. Had
to end up taking a couple of those off.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Wild wild story, but it brought up the conversation of
how did you get injured right before summer or right
as summer was starting.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Joe's on the line.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
He said he was in a motorcycle accident and it
was all caught on a ring camp.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Okay, so I got a visit memory of the accident,
actually video memory of the accident, because I really don't
remember much of it. We wouldn't be having this story
right now. I ended up with a broken culvis or,
a broken ridge of trauma hernia, a punch or lung.
Even though I had a full place helmet on, I
had my clear visor up, my son, guys are down.
(08:23):
I still ended up with a broken nose, punch of skull,
and I lost the finger.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
If that isn't proof that God is real, I don't
know what is man.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
That is a and I'm telling you.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
That is a wild story. Also, I'm never buying a
Motorca after all these stories and don't.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Don't let that, don't let that bother you.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Man.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
I still write to this day. Matter of fact, last
weekend took my bike to a show and I got
a trophy.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
So hey, congratulations, congratulations, well thank you
