Speaker 1 (00:00):
Michigan's number one for New Country and B ninety three
that's the new one from Parmelee Cowgirl B ninety three
Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm Ali Mack.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Thanksgiving, and really, you know, when you get together with
the family for any holiday is like, you know, you
sit around the table, you pass the mashed potatoes, and
then all of a sudden, somebody drops a bombshell. Yeah,
a secret comes out, a surprise gets revealed, or that
one family member just like says a little bit too
(00:28):
much after the morning mimosa, then you switch to the
one after you have a beer during the football game,
and you know, family holidays can get pretty juicy.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Uh yeah, yeah, it gets wild sometimes.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
And I am feeling like this year we won't really
have any big reveals at my family Thanksgiving. Like for
the past couple of years it's been like, Okay, who's
getting married, who's gonna announce that they're pregnant, who's gonna
announce that they're moving? Like just stuff like that. Yeah,
and you just kind of sit there and like look
at everybody and just like who's it going to be?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Who done it.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
In this year?
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Yeah, my sister and my brother in law just moved
back to Michigan. My nephew is like turning one this year,
so like, I don't I think this is going to
be the first year where we don't really have any
huge bombshells that are dropped on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I mean that's not a bad thing, right, No, it's
not a bad thing. It's just it's kind of boring.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
So I thought, well, if I'm not going to get
it at home, I might be able to get it
with the B ninety three listener family. I want to know.
And this is why I say, either a lot of
people will call or nobody will call. This doesn't necessarily
have to be from this year, or it doesn't necessarily
have to be your reveal. But what was your big
(01:51):
reveal on Thanksgiving? What came out at your holiday gathering?
The drama, the surprise, the confession, maybe the thing that
everybody pretended not to hear. Yeah, if you were willing
to share.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
I had a good ten year stretch at least where
I there was something like I was just I mean
I was I'm the oldest, so like I'd go through
all this stuff first. So I had a good run
of like, all right, what's Mike gonna bring up this year?
What's Mike gonna say. Sometimes it was just I would
just say something and just let it, let it, let
it go. Yeah, I have taken a back Bernard. I've
(02:29):
gone a little behind the scene, like I'm just more chill.
I got kids now, I got a family now. So
I get to watch and I get to break out
the popcorn for me. The last year, my sister I
met my sisters. Well, I guess he's going to be
my brother in law at some point. Oh, but they
were having they had a baby. I had never met.
This is my sister. I had never met this guy
(02:51):
until Thanksgiving and the baby was already born.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
That that was the reveal. That's what I'm talking.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Talking about. Something to spice up the holiday a little bit.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
But for a while, it was just it was me.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
It's just I'm okay, I'm okay, stepping aside and letting
yeah the other ones do it.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Six one, six, two four to two ninety three ninety three.
What was the big Thanksgiving or holiday reveal in your family?
If you're willing to share, if you're willing to share,
if you want to stay anonymous, of course we will
honor that too. But I'm looking for some juice today.
Is that kind of messy of me?
Speaker 3 (03:32):
No?
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I like it though.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Skin's number one for New country b Natty three. I'm
interested to see if this is how today goes, if
we just get a bunch of dms, or if anybody
calls and is willing to share what they think is
going to be the big reveal, or what was your
big reveal at Thanksgiving? I got a note from Mike
in Rockford that says, one Thanksgiving, my aunt casually mentioned
(03:56):
she got a tattoo.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Okayol sweet.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Turns out it was a full back piece she showed everyone.
Grandma was not impressed.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
That's the kind of stuff that we want to hear.
You don't have to say you're real name, make up
a name.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I don't care.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah, it doesn't matter, but like especially if you've already
revealed it, because there's always something on Thanksgiving, there's always
some sort of news.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
You don't have to use real names. You can use
fake names if you want. But I six one six
two four to two ninety three ninety three if you
want to call in. Lindsay and Ada also sent me
a DM. She said my cousin told the whole family
that she's pregnant. All congratulations, ysh.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
But she forgot to tell her husband and the father
of the child that she was making it public. Oh
my god, his face was priceless.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Man.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
What was revealed at Thanksgiving or the family holiday? Six
one six two four to two ninety three, ninety three,
B ninety three Morning Show Today, we are talking about
big Thanksgiving reveals. Doesn't necessarily have to be on Thanksgiving.
This could just be from a holiday in the past.
But basically, family holidays are the days throughout the year
(05:10):
where you sit around, you pass the mashed potatoes, and
you just kind of look around and wait for whoever's
going to drop the bombshell.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
I was a notorious for that for.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Ten years running, and then I just kind of held up,
hung up my jersey, hung up my jersey, and let
my sister kind of take that over.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
So we want to know what was revealed at your
family holiday. You don't have to use your name, you
can use different names, we can keep it anonymous, whatever
you want. But looking for a little bit of juice
this morning six one six two four to two ninety
three ninety three. I got a DM from Danielle. I'm
not gonna say where she's from in West Michigan, Okay,
(05:49):
because she asked me not to.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
I do.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Because at Thanksgiving last year, she said, we found out
two of my cousins were dating the same girl. Oh,
Thanksgiving out a little bit interesting after that.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I always wanted that too, especially like the Thanksgiving following,
like one of them is going to continue to date
them and one of them's not, and then Thanksgiving is
going to be weird.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Yeah, well, I have like seventeen more questions about that,
but I would be pass the line and let me
go sit by you. Yeah, Holly in Grand Haven, she said,
My nephew announced one year that he was quitting college
to become a magician. My brother, his dad was speechless.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Oh my youngest, my brother, my youngest brother. I'm the
oldest in our family went through that phase. And I
guess I did too. Whereas like he comes back every
year and we're like, you're doing what now?
Speaker 2 (06:49):
You're doing here? Right now?
Speaker 4 (06:51):
He's got a pretty good job with Amazon. Yeah I believe,
I don't know. I meant, I guess we'll find out
this Thanksaving. But he's had it for a few years.
But I remember there were years where I tell me like, so,
I'm selling knives this year, guys, right, I really think
it's gonna work out and it's gonna push forward my
music producer career.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
And my mom would just go, oh, yeah, okay, that
that sounds good.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Earlier we heard from someone like my aunt came to
Thanksgiving and revealed that she had got a tattoo, and
we were all like cool, and it turned out it
was like an entire back piece for your first tattoo,
the first one, that is uh, that's commitment right there.
What was revealed at the family holiday? Six one, six, two, four, two,
(07:31):
ninety three, ninety three. Okay, Rachel, what's your Thanksgiving reveal?
Speaker 5 (07:35):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (07:35):
So it wasn't thanks Timmy said, any holiday, So it
was a Christmas thing. My sister was all excited about
this new boyfriend. And let me just say, the older
sister who I am, was very judgmental when this guy
walked in and she claims he was thirty, and I'm like,
that's not a thirty year old man.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
There is no way she was twenty two.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
My mom was already upset about the age difference.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
Turns out he was fifty four. Yeah, why are you
with my sister? Like she has no money. I don't
know what's your deal? And he goes, oh, she's beautiful,
and I'm like, no.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Yeah, well we know she's awesome.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Obviously I looked her because he's really thirty. I'm like no,
And I snooped through his wallet and found his ID
and no, he was not thirty. And I revealed that.
I'm like, look, he's not thirty. I'm not crazy because.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
They're big sister duties.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Gotta do it, you got it.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
But I want to tell you I love your guys
this show so much. You make my morning drive easy
every morning.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Oh well, thank you so much. And if I ever
need a big sister to do some snooping for me,
I'm calling you.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I am definitely not big sister. I have the mama
bearing me for my kids, and I have.
Speaker 5 (08:50):
The big sister, like what is wrong?
Speaker 3 (08:52):
I'm six and a half years older than her. We're
the only siblings.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
So I'm always like, what is wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Sometimes you gotta fall on the sword. Sometimes you just
got to do it. You got to be the problem.
But it's for a good cause.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
And everybody in my family's like, no, he looks just
older like your husband. I'm like, no, there's like balding
like my husband. And then and he's four years younger
than me, and there's like, oh my god, he's definitely
not a thirty year old in that part.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
You're beautiful. Oh my god, thank you for the call today.
Appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Yeah, you guys have wonderful Thanksgiving you too.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Bye.
