Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm Alli mack now Mike six twenty one. Here are

(00:02):
three things you should know today. Heads up weekend travelers.
Eastbound one ninety six going to be closed at one
thirty one at downtown Grand Rapids starting tonight for bridgework.
Now the closure kicks in at ten o'clock tonight, so
you should be able to get home this afternoon no problem.
And they say they're going to have things wrapped up
by six am on Monday, so your morning commute next

(00:22):
week shouldn't be too affected either. If you are heading east,
m DOT says to hop on northbound one point thirty
one and connect to ninety six instead. They'll be posted detours.
But it's part of that big construction project that they're doing,
which should be through the rest of this month. That
we might see a little bit in November two. But
mm hmm yep.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
M h.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Police say there is no sign that the Haunted Mansion
ride played a role in the death of a woman
in her sixties at Disneyland in California on Monday. Anaheim
Police says she suffered a medical emergency after getting off
the ride.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
That's the second death I've seen this year at the
two amusement parks. We went to so Universe. There was
one at Universal two back in September, but the guy
had a spine issue and should have never been on
the ride in the first place. Yeah, and they closed down.
I believe it's called Starduster, yeah, in Epic Universe, but
I don't think it's Yeah, it's good to see that
it's not the actual rides, but like that is still

(01:20):
incredibly sad.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Yeah, Eric Church pre party this afternoon at Gimmes par
and Grill. We're gonna be getting you registered to win
pit passes and at meet and greet passes. Hey for
the show tonight, So plan on sticking around if you're
looking to upgrade your tickets or score some meet and greets.
Four thirty pm, Gimmes Downtown, gr with B ninety three.

(01:41):
That's three things you should know. Here's one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
I don't know if you've ever sat and wondered, I
wonder what car gets pooped on the most by birds.
Well I'm going to tell you right now. Setifines dot
Com did a survey, or says a survey of one
thousand American drivers found that Brown vehicles reportedly received the
most bird droppings, followed by red and black cars. I
have a black vehicle myself. I haven't noticed this. But

(02:08):
it's also said in this thing that it's hard to
notice on certain cards how much your car gets pooped on.
So I do notice if my carget's pooped on, but
I don't. I don't notice it. If it's a lot,
I guess, or I wouldn't say it's more than any
other car. Yeah, you have a black vehicle too, Do
you notice that there's a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I don't really know. The bugs on the wind show. Yeah, yeah,
yeah are super bad, But I don't think that's a
color of your car.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Thing well, like so either. They did also a ranking
of which type of vehicle, which brand of vehicle gets
gets it the most. Super is in at number ten,
number nine four Audi not is in at eight. Tesla
on this list, which is surprising because Tesla is still
relatively new in at number seven, Kia at six, Dodge
at five, the Nissan at four, Chevy at three, Jeep

(02:55):
at two, and In at number one. The most pooped
on cars by birds, the Ram, the Dodge Ram, huh,
the truck. Yeah. I don't know how or why, it
seems like a long waste of money to be doing
the study. But we have it now, so now we know.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Now we know knowledge is power, That's true. Ninety three scores.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
The Tigers play the Mariners tonight. It is Game five
of that series. We're gonna find out who is moving
forward tonight to the next round. Eight oh eight is
the game. You can hear that on our sister station
