Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning and Smike from the B ninety three Morning Show.
Ali mack out on vacation. She will be back tomorrow.
It's time to jump into the three things you need
to know. This is kind of wild, and I think
it's starting to raise concerns for a Cedar point their
new ride, Siren's Curse has been nothing but that a
giant curse. Earlier last week, I saw videos of people

(00:24):
riding the rides and bugs hitting their face. Now, it
was reported over the weekend that riders were left dangling
from the ride for about ten minutes on Saturday, which
doesn't seem like a long time, but it's that part
of the ride where, if you haven't seen it yet,
it tilts down and it pauses for a second and
it holds you there and then it drops you. I

(00:45):
guess the power went out of the park spokesman Tony
Clark said in the afternoon experience a delay and left
the riders suspended in the coasters signature tilt function. The
Coasters safety system performed as designed, the ride was restarted
and guests can tinued their ride. That's ten minutes, so
here's here's five seconds. Doesn't that feel like forever? Like

(01:08):
imagine ten minutes now. It's interesting to see how that
ride is playing out. The ride looks very cool. That
would be kind of wild to see it if you
haven't seen the video. B ninety three dot com. A
driver hits building in Kentwood, leaving several people injured. This
happened over the weekend the Kent When Police Department say
several people were hurt but are expected to survive after

(01:29):
a driver hit the building. Police got called near forty
eighth in the Eastern Avenue around four three forty am
for a crash following a physical alterate altercation. The address
provided is that of the Hero's corner and organization that
provides support for veterans. We'll keep you updated on that
at B ninety three dot com. Jelly Roll sends a

(01:51):
care package to fans who couldn't get a workoff to
see his show. This is awesome and he always does
things like this. Jelly Roll could give a masterclass make
your fans happy. Last week, jelly Roll was in Idaho
and the crew over at Big Al's Bowling Alley wanted
to go, but duty call and they had to work.
The owner of Big Al's posted some pics of the
crew not going to show and explaining how sad they

(02:14):
were to miss it and tag the two superstars. Jelly
saw the saw the posts he was there with post
Malone called the bowling Alley and said he wanted to
send something to the crew. Could you imagine getting a
phone call from Jelly Roll and it's like, Hey, this
is Jelly Roll. I was just hoping that I could.
I could send you a care package, so I'd be like, yeah, okay.
Days later, a care package showed up with March signs,

(02:35):
setless and a handwritten promise that next time he was
in Jelly was in town. He was bowling at Big Al's.
You want to see that picture. It's online at B
ninety three dot com. Three things you need to know.
One you probably shouldn't. Some people say climate controlled cup
holders are difficult to use, and they're not happy about it.

(02:57):
I didn't know climate controlled cup holders were the thing.
I don't have that. I even have a newer car
and I don't have that. A fresh JD Power survey
revealed that cup holders had the third biggest frustration for
new car buyers, mostly because modern cups like Stanley tumblers
and Yetti mugs don't fit right in it, and they
interfere with the axis of your center council or seat controls.

(03:17):
That I can understand. I've been in cars before I
got the car that I love got. I was in
cars that just the cup holders were weird and that
they asked like, hey, what is the thing you love
about it? And I would tell them, what's the thing
you don't. And I have mentioned cup holders before, those
fancy temperature control cup holders. I again didn't know it
was a thing. Once a luxury feature and high end audis, BMW's,

(03:41):
even Tesla's, but they're now kind of pointless, especially when
everyone's using Insulad containers. That's a great point. So now
it doesn't even make sense to have them. All right,
let's take a look at your sports over the weekend
with your B ninety three sports. Tigers win out the
series two, yeah, two to one over the weekend, winning

(04:03):
last night against the Twins three to zero. They are
off today and back Tuesday.
