Day Today. We are kicking off the week with Eric
Church tickets at seven twenty. We also have the big
Dollar donkey that returns today two free money, one thousand bucks.
I would love to win some free dollars donkey money today,
same same, but you know there's like rules against that

(00:20):
kind of stuff. We can't win it. So please let
us live vicariously through you and get those keywords in.
When you hear them, you're gonna want to take them
to our website. B ninety three dot com six twenty
B ninety three Morning Show. I'm Alli Max Mike. Here
are three things you should know today. Gunman crashed his
truck into a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day
Saints building in Grand Blank Township yesterday morning, then opened

(00:43):
fire and set the church ablaze during services. Police fatally
shot the attacker, identified as forty year old ex marine
Thomas Jacob Sandford. The FBI is leading this investigation. They
call it an act of targeted violence. Cruz continue to
search the debris per for possible additional victims. Death toll
is five right now, but police say it could be more.

(01:05):
We're hoping to have more information on that later today.
Ann Arbor's Michigan Stadium set a new US concert attendance
record Saturday, with one hundred and twelve thousand, four hundred
and eight fans pack in the Big House for Zach
Bryan's show, Zach Brian and John Mayer. I mean, that's
that's a lineup that would do that.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Holy cow.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
The event also broke merchandise sales records, moving about five
million dollars worth of gear. Marked the first ever concert
at the ninety eight year old stadium, and the University
of Michigan says, yeah, we hope it's the first of many.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yes, please no kidding.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Spirit Halloween doubling down on holiday retail with Spirit Christmas.
They did some pop ups. They did like ten last year.
Now they're expanding nationwide, including new locations in the Midwest,
but it doesn't say exactly where those are going to be,
so I don't know if we're gonna have one here
in Michigan. If you see one, send us a picture.

(02:03):
Shoppers can expect festive decor, quirky gives, holiday apparel, and
even Santa photo setups.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
That's gonna be kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I think soon it's probably just gonna be spirit holiday.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I love everything about that.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
That's three things you should know. Here's one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
The internet is divided on this, and I'm not really
sure how to feel about it myself. Bad Bunny is
going to be these this year's Super Bowl halftime show headliner. Now,
there was rumors that Adele was going to be the
halftime performer, but announced yesterday last night, Bad Bunny will
officially be the halftime performer Sunday, February eighth at Levi

(02:42):
Stadium in Santa Clara, California. I think he's gonna bring
a bunch of people on the stage with him, but
it'll be it'll be interesting to watch because we're not
a lot of us aren't gonna be able to understand
what he's saying through the entire thing.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
He doesn't sing in English at all.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
That's a good point.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
But if he brings on other artists, which I have
to imagine he does, maybe he doesn't though maybe this
is just a different halftime show.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
It wouldn't have been. And I love I like Bad Bunny.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I think he's obviously got a huge following, but I
like him, like, and he was in Adam Sandler's new movie.
He's just like a seems like a good celebrity. He's
one of those guys you should have made famous. Like
he seems good, but like, I just don't know if
this is him.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I don't know. We'll see though.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
There are many There are many announcements that I've made
or that have been made about the halftime shows where
I was like, oh, that's not gonna work, and it
ends up being just fine.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah, it ends up being just fine. We move on
with our life. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Admittedly I haven't seen much like concert footage of his
shows and stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, So I'm excited to see like kind of what
all the hype is about, because I know he like
his fans. They are like die.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Hard, yeah, so very passionate fans, And I think it'll
bring in a whole new set of audience. I just
which is what they're going for. Ultimies of course, but
I think if you're capturing a moment with the Super
Bowl halftime show, Country should have been it this year.
They're on every other game, every other game. Mitchell Tenpenny
was performed at the Lions game this weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I know I know Shaboozi does the Thursday night.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Song what are we waiting for?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Harry Underwood? I mean country is all. But again, you
do the Super Bowl halftime performance for free, So I imagine
that takes a lot of people out of it where
it's like, yeah, it's great exposure. But if you're going
to sell out to or already yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I guess. And then you look at things like Zach
Bryan selling out the Big House, you know.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
You're like, yeah, no, I'll probably watch the Super Bowl
from the road, being any three sports.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Tigers lost their three game series with Boston over the weekend,
but they did manage to clinch the wild card playoff
spot that starts tomorrow against the Guardians. It's a three
game series there, best of three, uh, that begins at
noon with the pregame there and then the first pitch
will be thrown at one eight pm. You can hear
that on our sister station ninety six one the game.
Lions beat the Browns over the weekend thirty one to four,

(05:07):
thirty one to ten, excuse me and that, and then
after the Packers tied the Cowboys last night, they are
now first in the division.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
So wogle Lions.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Red Wings lost to Buffalo five to two in a
preseason match, and then they play the Penguins tonight at
seven pm, another preseason game.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
