Speaker 1 (00:01):
Cowetzel on Michigan's number one for new country B ninety three.
We've got Eric Church tickets all day today, getting you
in for free. We get to see him tomorrow night
at Vanniandel Arena, and we are doing a pre party too.
We're gonna be at Gimmes from four thirty to six
thirty with those Eric Church meet and great passes and
pit passes. Come on down to register to win and

(00:24):
have a drink, have a bite to eat before the concert,
and play some games, have some fun. We kind of
like hanging out at Gimmes. I think that's gonna be
our spot for a while.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
I love it because it's really close to everything. They're
super nice to us there. The games are fun. There's
lots of space for everybody. We take over those first
two bays right as you walk in.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
On the first floor.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, it's perfect.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
B ninety three, six twenty. I'm Ali, Max, I'm Mike.
Here are three things you should know today. Health officials
have confirmed a second case of measles in Muskegon County,
so that brings Michigan's total up to twenty eight cases
this year.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
They really narrow row it down.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
If you have been at the Trinity Health Urgent Care
on Sherman Boulevard October second, Who between three forty five
and seven pm. I mean, they really have because it's
droplet so it's just like all in the air.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Could you imagine if you were there though at like
three forty they're like, oh man, yeah, what's that mean?
That counts me.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
They say, if you were exposed, you should keep an
eye out for symptoms. Through October twenty third. That's scary
because of the government shutdown.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
The Gerald R.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Ford Presidential Museum has been closed since this started. But
here's what I did not consider. The winning art piece
from Art Prize twenty twenty five is just stuck inside
there there.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, there's nothing that they could do because they won't
let anybody in there.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Right, there's nothing that they can do. Artist Mark Lewansky
says he's eager. This thing is massive. It's a four
hundred pound woven glass tapestry, and he cannot access it
until the government shutdown is over. So it is very
possible that he has collected his one hundred thousand dollar
grand prize. He's cash that check and he's like, well,

(02:03):
I'd love to be able to move this art piece,
because I don't think that he's local art price. Artists
come from all over the country and just sitting there.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Sometimes they might have just purchased a new art prize
piece or a new art piece. Yeah, Like, at some
point he's gonna go, well, sorry, guys, it's yours now,
you already paid.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Me, unless somebody else has already bought it.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
And then it's like, yeah, I know you'd love to
hang this up in your dining room, but we got
a wait. Ticket prices climbing once again at the happiest
place on Earth. Both Disneyland and Disney World have the
most expensive one day passes now at two hundred and
twenty four dollars. That's more than double what it was
ten years ago. Annual passes, parking, and of course the

(02:45):
Lightning Lane skip the Line upgrades are also going up.
They're saying, if you want to come in the off season,
you want to come on an off day, we'll keep
prices at one hundred and four.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Okay, that's so we didn't pay the we didn't pay
close to that cur rent price. We got a pretty
good deal on it. But if you get a hope,
they I think they just want you to stay more
because if you stay there and bundle it, you know
what I mean, you get cheaper tickets, you're also paying
for their hotel stuff, and you don't have to pay

(03:14):
for parking, and you get early access.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
The only thing you don't get is the Lightning Pass.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
But if so, I think that's the moves they want
you to stay in their properties more because you get it.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
There are ways to kind of get around some of
that stuff, Like if you don't want to do a
lightning Pass, but you want to get on all the
rides there were as much as possible, go on the
single rider. Then if you're just going with like adults,
because you're just not riding with somebody you came with
and it's two seconds later you're going to see them
and then you can talk about the ride.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Not me.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I need an emotional support person on some of those rides.
Haunted Mansion for sure.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Oh that was a good one.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
That's a scary one.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah, not the ride itself, but like the elevator when
you first go down to get to the ride. Yeah,
it freaks me out a little bit. Three things you
should know. Here's one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
This is from your tango dot com.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
And I don't necessarily agree with some of these things,
but I'm also not a x FBI so so according
to an x XBI behavioral expert, he says that you
can instantly tell somebody is lying if they do these
five weird things with their body.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Oh I love these skin picking or nail biting, okay,
see those nails.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah, pursing their lips, but I don't even fully know
what that means.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
What does a purse lip look like?

Speaker 4 (04:36):
It's where you kind of like pucker them, like press
them together, like.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, okay, that means somebody's lying apparently. Hiding their thumbs.
Let me see your thumbs. If somebody's doing that, I
want it. If they're just need a mint it anyways.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Avoiding eye contact.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Yeah, I feel like that one's pretty.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
That's yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeah, But when somebody has two eye contact it feels
weird too. Like if I was just to stare at
you like this the whole time, I would not.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
It's not lovely, is it?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Using overly long sentences to persuade the or mask deceit
lives often over explain, avoid contractions, insert qualifiers like honestly,
or to tell.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
You the truth.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
I've heard that one before.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Honestly, or tell you the truth.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
If you think somebody is maybe not telling you the
whole truth, just be quiet because they will feel guilt
and pressure to like fill the silence, and they'll start
just like over explaining. And that's when you can sort
of listen and be like, there's some holes in.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
That story, really, see, I just start when there's silence,
I just start humming or making noises with sou.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
I feel like.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Beatty free sports.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
I'm not saying I'm nostradamus with sports, but I did
sort of manifest and predict yesterday's score on accident. So
if you missed it yesterday, I accidentally said the Tigers won.
The day before they did not, but Iveen said to
score and everything wrong. And I was wrong yesterday, but
somehow am right today today. Tiger's won yesterday nine to three,

(06:09):
puts the series at tide. They play game five tomorrow.
It is at Seattle, but we still have a shot
at this. Red Wings home opener season opener versus Montreal
is tonight seven o'clock.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
You can hear that on our sister station. Ninety six
won the game,
