Speaker 1 (00:01):
Morgan Wallen and Ernest Cowgirls on Michigan's number one for
new country B ninety three. It is five point fifty three.
You've got the B ninety three morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I'm Mike and I'm Ali Mack.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Here are three things you should know today, Memorial Weekend
coming up, and Grand Rapids reminding people to brush up
on those fireworks rules and regulations. You can ken yes,
good to go May twenty fourth and twenty fifth until
eleven forty five pm. However, this year is a little
bit different. You can't actually light them on Memorial Day itself,

(00:34):
so you want to make sure that you obey the
law because if you break the rules, it's like a
one thousand dollars fine per pop.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
The Memorial Day think kind of makes sense because you
have to go to work the next day, like the
rest of the weekend is like right the weekend, but
like Tuesday, you gotta go back to work.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
But have you ever heard of anybody getting a fine
for lighting fireworks off at the wrong time?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
No either.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
I love and I genuinely love fireworks, but like when
you're back home in the Uniteded campsite, I just don't know,
I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I don't know why you're doing anything. I don't know
why people do it in the neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Eleven forty five is so late. Yeah, I feel so
old saying that, but it's so late. Traffic stop in
Branch County turned into a major drug bust over the weekend.
State troopers found more than two thousand milligrams of heroin
and fentanyl and a cargoing ninety seven miles per hour
on I sixty nine. Police say that's enough to kill

(01:27):
a million people. The driver, who did not have a license,
is now behind bars without bond. Mortgage rates jumped back
over seven percent yesterday after the US got a credit
downgrade thanks to rising debt and deficits. That's making it
even tougher for home buyers, with rates now near a
twenty five year high, even after recent FED cuts. Some

(01:51):
experts say, you know, the hit might not last very long. However,
for now, borrowing just got a lot prizier. I know
that's three things you should know. Here is one you
probably should in.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
This looks incredible and I don't think they make it
here in the United States yet.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
This looks like this is just out of Canada.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
It's a grilled cheese cheeseburger, and essentially, what they're doing,
and I think this is just a test in Canada,
but what they're doing is they took a grilled cheese
and put a cheeseburger, like one of the regular bacon cheeseburgers,
right in the center of it. And it looks oh, yes,
it looks like something you'd make if you just kind
of ran out of stuff and you're like, well, I

(02:30):
got a burger, I got leftover burger.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
How do we spice this up a little bit?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I'm like, throwing's putting grilled cheese around it.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
So is this like one grilled cheese or two? Like
are the grilled cheeses replacing the buns here?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
They're over top of the buns.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Got it?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
So it's like they literally took a regular cheeseburger and
then made a grilled cheese sandwich but didn't put it
together and then sandwich it in between. There's sandwich that
burger in between the grilled cheese, and there's actual cheese
going over top of the burger buns.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Wow, it's oh yeah, that sounds seems like a lot
of bread though, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
It is a lot of bread. Yeah, it is a
lot of it, but I'm not scared of no.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
But it does have the patty anyways, and the bacon
that they have in this photo.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
The ratio seems to be okay, but I see what
you're saying. It is a lot of bread.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, the meat to the meat to bun ratio is
pretty is pretty solid.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Here.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
You know, Wendy's were available, You can ask us about
this stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I don't know why we're tested in Canada. We could
test here so close. Yeah, it's like a couple hour drive.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Beat ninety three Sports.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Tigers beat the or loss, excuse me, lost of the
Cardinals yesterday eleven to four. They played the Cardinals again
today at seven to twenty, which you can hear on
our sister station, Wood Radio.
