designated water watchers at pool parties. There were several water
deaths over Fourth of July weekend in West Michigan, and
they say that every one of those deaths on the
water is preventable. The co owner of Lewis Adventure Farm
and Zoo has died after a tragic accident on the property.

(00:42):
Cindy Lewis was struck by a car driven by an
employee before the park opened on Friday morning. She passed
away Sunday. The incident is under investigation, her community remembering
her as a kind, energetic leader and a pillar of
the community in new era. Tick Bites sending more people
to the er this year than we have seen in years.

(01:04):
July already out pacing previous summers like just the month
of July, out pacing entire summers. Experts say warmer winters
help ticks survive and spread, so make sure you wear
the repellent, stay on the trails, and always check your
friends and loved ones for ticks. That's three things you
should know. Here is one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
This is a story from sychpost dot com. This is
such a double edged sword. Like you're either gonna say, oh, yeah,
I feel like i'm smart, or I feel like i'm
moral according to this, So I don't know that I fully.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Agree with this.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Can't be both, you can't. According to this study, smarter
people might be less moral. A new study suggests that
people with higher intelligence might not hold moral values as
strongly as other So you either say, ah, no, I'm
a big dummy, but I'm super moral, or you say
I'm very smart, but I'm very immoral.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
This is why I think that I am not smart,
because it's why I don't have more money.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
That's why a lot of.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Us don't have more money.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Oh yeah, because.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I feel like the people who are like really really really.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Rich CEOs and stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
They're smart, but they're also like willing to make money
at costs of other people.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
It's a great yes, I agree.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Researchers found that people with higher cognitive abilities tend to
endorse moral values less across the board, including care, fairness, loyalty,
and purity. This pattern held true for both men and women.
The study challenges the common belief that smarter people are
more ethical and moral.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
I don't think anybody's ever thought about it. I mean,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I don't think anybody's ever put the two and went, yeah,
that super smart person is super moral, though they probably
had to step on a few people to get to
wherever they're at now. They probably did a lot of
immoral things. Not everybody, Like, I'm assuming this doesn't apply
to everybody, but yeah, I think I'm a big dummy too,
I think when it comes down to it, yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, And you know what they say, if you're gonna
be dumb, you better be tough. And here we are
waking up at three am every single day.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
So what does that say? I don't even know, though, Like,
all right, I guess that's good thing.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
And I don't think this is just saying like, oh,
you're smart as in like common sense, or you graduated
high school or whatever. Like, I think they're talking about
like a high level oh yeah of intelligence that just
like I don't have that.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, but yeah, yeah, the same I think.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah, I think it's those guys where like they don't
even have social abilities because the guys and goes, I
don't even have like the social cues with other things
because they're that intelligent, you know what I mean, Like
the Stephen Hawkings of the world.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Maybe that's not that greatest example. It could have a
lot about him, So I guess Ben atty three Sports.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Tiger's beat Tampa five to one. They play Tampa again
in the game two of their three game series today
at six point fifteen. You can hear that on our
