Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the B ninety three Morning Show. I'm Ally Mack
and I Mike. Here are three things you should know today.
The man accused of randomly stabbing a shopper at the
Walmart on Alpine has been identified twenty nine year old
Christian Thompson, a walker. He was arraigned yesterday charged with
assault with intent to do great bodily harm. The judge
set his bond at half a million. Police say he
admitted to the stabbing. At first, he didn't. At first,

(00:22):
he didn't say he was involved at all, and then
he said he was frustrated because his truck was missing,
and he thought that maybe the person that he stabbed
was involved in some way in his truck going missing.
There's no connection between them. I'm not sure why he
thought that. But the victim remains hospitalized in stable condition,

(00:42):
and police are still kind of investigating.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Here.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Something's happening weird.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
That helicopter flying over plane, Well, if you have seen it,
it's got like a giant antenna attached to it. And
this is not just somebody out for a joy ride.
This is actually helping Kalamazoo underground aquifers. It's kind of
like an Earth MRI. It's collecting three D images of
what's underground to help the city plan for future wells

(01:09):
without disrupting the environment. So instead of digging, they can
just like take pictures. Final results are expected in about
eight weeks. But if you saw that flying around plane
while the last couple of weeks, that is what that was.
Because it's definitely not just like, oh, there's a helicopter,
It's like, what does that helicopter have on it?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
That's weird.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
It looked like a giant bubble blower, like you would
put bubbles in. Yeah, but I'm pretty sure, based on
all of my documentaries about lizard people, that.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
You are a conspiracy theorist to your core.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I think at a little part obviously I was just
joking about that, but a little part of me it
is like not jaded, but like feels like there is
there is a little bit more. There's like about full
conspiracy theorists, but pretty there, pretty close.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Sean Diddy Combs denied bail again as he waits for
his October third sentencing. Federal judge that he remains a
flight risk and a danger to the community, citing past
violent behavior. He was convicted of transporting escorts and has
been in jail for eleven months and not going anywhere
until he's sentenced in October, and then maybe still not
going anywhere. Yeah, that's three things you should know. Here

(02:22):
is one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
There's a giant helicopter flying around steally just doing the
If you had to guess the number one theme park
in the United States, I think everybody's would probably be
his a name Orse. I thought Universal the new one
because these are specific I didn't realize it until just

(02:45):
now that these are specific parts of these these theme parks.
So Disney's got a few different or different sections. So
does Universal. Epic's not on there, and I think it's
because it's only this year's it's new. Well, they opened
in May, so they didn't open until halfway through the year.
Oh so maybe next year. Yeah, However, I do think

(03:06):
number one is a good pick here.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Number one.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
The top ranked theme park in the United States is Dollywood. Hey,
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, if you've never been. I went to
Gatlinburg recently and it was we had a chance to
drive through there. I was like, we gotta make it there,
we gotta go and then we just never did for
some reason, we got busy kind of want to. Now
it's not just the country charm or the roller coasters

(03:30):
that draw crowds. Dollywood has also earned high marks for
customer service, even out ranking Disney.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Wow. Disney with characters and kids.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Getting hugs every five seconds was out done by Dollywood.
Disney does make the list at number two. Disney's Magic Kingdom,
which I've never been to.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
That one I've been to. The other one's never been
to that one.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
No, Noah Bell's Amusement Resort in Ellisburg, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Yeah, I've never heard of that one.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Disney Hollywood Studios, which I have been to, and U
Universal Islands of Adventure, which I've been to all So it's.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Crazy just the sheer size, like Dollywood is so much
smaller than Disney and Universal and it's at.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
The top number one for the three years in a row. Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Be ninety three Sports.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Tigers won yesterday they beat the beat Minnesota beat the
Twins six to three. They play him again today at
six fifteen the supre game. So you can hear that
on our sister station, Wood Radio really quick. I do
want to say this because he's not going to get
all the flowers that he deserves.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
This is local, but I wanted to say it really quick.
My buddy.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
His name is Kyle Slocum. He is the new head
coach for the Loll Wrestling team, which is a big
deal because this guy was a huge wrestler growing up.
He's worked his tail off to get this promotion, and
I've seen the outpour online and I just think this
is a really cool thing. He's a really good wrestler.
He's been the assistant coach for years. He just got
the head coach, gig At Lowell as the as a

(04:54):
wrestling coach.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
That's It's just he worked his tail off to get
that coach, Kyle coach.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Kyle Lowell Wrestling.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
What's the Lowell mascot?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
It's the arrows, the low Oh the who what is
the mascot?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
It's the arrows. I thought the pink arrows, the Loll arrows.
I wish I knew that.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Coach, Kyle, give us a.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
