in twenty twenty six, from twelve dollars forty eight cents
an hour to thirteen dollars seventy three cents an hour teen,
and tipped wages are also increasing. Tipped workers will see
their pay gradually rise each year until it reaches the
(00:20):
full minimum wage by twenty thirty, and then, starting in
twenty twenty eight, future minimum wage increases are automatically going
to adjust for inflation. Michigan residents have until December fifteenth,
just about a week left to sign up for health
insurance marketplace coverage that starts January first, twenty twenty six.
Open enrollment runs through January fifteenth, but plans selected after
(00:44):
the fifteenth are not going to start until February. Michiganders
can compare options at healthcare dot gov and get free
local enrollment help online or by phone. Western Michigan football

Speaker 2 (01:29):
In the Year of Our Lord twenty twenty six. I
don't know if you've ever wondered how much the gifts
in the Twelve Days of Christmas would cost you this year.
But according to pnz's Christmas Price Index, the costs of
the twelve Days of Christmas, such twelve drummers, drumming, leven ciberspiping,
et cetera, would cost you an all time high of
(01:51):
roughly fifty one thousand, four hundred and seventy six dollars
and twelve cents this year, the most expensive being the twelve.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Drummers drumming at four and six dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
So, if you are looking to do any of these
things eight mils of making, eight mils of milking, excuse
me a lot cheaper than I thought that would be.
It's fifty eight bucks. It's kind of a steal if
you think about it. So, yeah, if you were ever
wondering how much the twelve days, the gifts for the
twelve days and Christmas would cost, it's about fifty grand.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
About fifty grand to get that.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
So if you're looking to do that, oh wait, no,
nine Ladies Dancing, that's eight thousand dollars. Ten Lords of
Leaping is sixteen thousand dollars. Why what's the what's the
who comes up with that price?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Well, I mean we just talked about minimum wage.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
So I guess everybody. Everybody's got to get paid. Yeah,
all right, everybody should get paid. Agreed, should absolutely.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
But you know that doesn't always work out the way
it's supposed to. Beat ninety three sports.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Reds played Vancouver yesterday and they won to zero, number
two ranked U of M. They weren't number one, and
then literally just switched like overnight plays Villanova today six pm.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
You can hear that on our sister station, Wood Radio.
