Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is the b ninety three Morning show. I'm Ali
Max and I'm Mike. Here are three things you should
know today. The fight over Michigan's minimum wage not quite
over yet. A new ballot initiative from one Fair Wage
could repeal the state's recent compromise law and eliminate the
tipped wage entirely. Supporters say workers deserve better pay. Critics
(00:21):
are arguing that it adds pressure to already struggling small businesses.
Heads up, if you are in Miskegon County, about twenty
five hundred consumers. Energy customers at near Twin Lake are
going to lose power on Saturday night for scheduled upgrades.
The outage is going to start around eleven PM, could
last up to eight hours. Again, that's Saturday night. All
part of a plan to reduce future outages. So I
(00:43):
guess that's a good thing. Little struggle now, less struggle later.
Affected households should have already been notified. President Trump giving Tiktoks,
a parent company, byte Dance, another ninety days to find
a sale and finalize it with a US buyer, So
taking the can down the road for another three months.
This is the third deadline extension, so far. Without a deal,
(01:05):
the app could face a full shut down in the
United States under the law that the Supreme Court upheld.
For now, TikTok stays online while the clock keeps ticking.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
So if you are following us on TikTok, Allie Mac
on airnet on air, Mike, you should go ahead and
follow us on other things too, just in case.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
That is where we do our live every single day,
uh huh. And the first couple of bands, we were like,
we're gonna have to find a work around, and we
couldn't really find one that was super easy and just
like every day able if you will, yeah, yeah, so yeah,
if you don't follow us on Instagram and Facebook, you should.
It might be a good idea. On air, mic Ali
(01:43):
Mack on air, that's three things you should know. Here
is one you probably shouldn't.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Are you a like a deal pickle or pickle flavored
fan of other things than just pickles?
Speaker 3 (01:51):
You know, I'm not a fanatic like some people are.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Every once in a while, I'll do like a deal
pickle ranch, uh huh, or you know something.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
My house like it's you could flavor everything dill pickle
or pickle in general, and everybody would eat it.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Deal pickle chips, yeah really good?
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah, So there this summer, I guess cup
of noodles.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Do you remember a cup of noodles.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Oh yeah, that would be good.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
They're rolling out dill pickle flavored. Is it Ramen or
Raymond noodles? I keep saying it the wrong way.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
I don't know. I have always said Ramen, I've.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Always said Raymond, and I don't think that's the right way,
and everybody correct it's Ramen noodles, but I genuinely don't know. Anyways.
The flavors out June twenty first, and I think the
pickle trend, I think there's more of this. I think
this is getting more popular in general. I'm not necessarily
the biggest Like I like pickles, like to eat pickles,
(02:43):
but I don't love the pickled flavor at everything. These
sound kind of good, the cup of noodles with a
little pickle flavor, Yeah, because I think I've splashed things
in Back in the days when I was just eating
cup of noodles and strictly only cup of noodles, I
would splash little things in there to make them taste
a little bit different and that sounds kind of good.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
I haven't seen it.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
It'll be on our Instagram at being any three dot com.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
I was just talking about salad yesterday on my TikTok
and I actually there's a like a bagged salad.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
It's dill pickle salad.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Oh really, and it's got like dill pickle ranch in
it and some like dill seasoning and it's actually a
really good salad.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
So do you buy Okay, let me ask you this,
this is completely side topic really quick. Do you buy
the little bags of like pre made salads or do
you buy lettuce and then mix it up?
Speaker 1 (03:30):
And then no, I buy the premade stuff that which
I know it's more expensive.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Just buy your own ingredients and do it. But it's
so convenient. That's what I want. Though.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Seriously, I would eat a salad every single day if
it was just made right.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yeah, it's super nice.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
The one thing that is kind of annoying is that
the dressing and the toppings and usually the cheese is
all packaged separately. And that makes me feel bad because
I feel like that's just like a lot of plastic
to be opening up and throwing away every single day. Fine,
but you know it works. It's a good portion size.
I eat the entire salad for lunch like almost every
(04:05):
single day.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, so yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
I always have like two or three of those pre
made bag salads in my fridge. And the deal Pickle
and also the Works, which is like everything bagel that
I was talking about on my TikTok.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Those are my two favorites right now.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Okay, you're gonna have to genuinely send me the or up.
May I'll just go to your TikTok and look at it,
but the back because I don't. I need to make
little switches, right, I need to switch things up. And
I would eat a salad every day if I didn't
have to make it.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Family Fair and DNW.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
That's where I buy my salads, thank you, and they're
very tasty. But the Works and the deal Pickle so good.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Be naughty. Three sports TI Tigers played Pittsburgh yesterday in
the beginning of their three game series. They won seven
to three. They play them again today at six fifteen,
which you can hear on our sister station, Wood Radio.
