today Grand Rapids drivers. The ramp from northbound one thirty
one to eastbound one ninety six is closed this week
for road and bridgework. So this closure is going to
open up three pm on Friday. So you may not
be able to get to and from the next couple days,

but you should be able to get home on Friday.
They do have a dtour in place. If you are
on northbound one thirty one, just go to Anne Street
like keep going loop around on Turner and you should
be able just to might take you a few extra minutes,
but you can get to where you need to get to.
As the heat wave continues in West Michigan, Ottawa County
opening several cooling centers to help keep people safe. Places

like Gateway Mission and Community Action House in Holland welcoming
anyone in need of a cool place to rest. This
is all about comfort, safety and relief, especially for those
that don't have shelter. Detroit Lions quarterback at Shared Goff

Jared Goff's impressive twenty twenty three season.

I love this so much because he had gone into
that year and they were still saying, there's interviews out
there forever in the universe. He's not the guy. He's
not their guy. He's their standing. They got this backup
that's coming in. He's gonna take over. He's not the guy.
We just they you know, the Rams got the better
end of this deal because they got a superstar and
we got a dud and nobody believed in Jared Goff.

Jared Goff, Jare and watch the crowd just scream his name.
I want to see how he handles that that pressure.
I want to see his mindset is motivation. He's a

probably shouldn't.

A new survey conducted by the Entertainment Software Association says
that video games help bring together all generations in families.
Right now, two thirds of the US population plays video
games regularly, and that figure isn't just gen z. The
report revealed that adults age fifty and up actually play
more games than eighteen year olds, especially puzzle and multiplayer

games that help them connect with others, and twenty five
percent of people over the age of sixty five play games.
They also The survey also found that seventy percent of
parents play video games, and eighty percent of them play
alongside with their kids. This is my pitch right here
to get a switch to to my wife and my wife.

Only we're still working on that.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yep. Yes, I put together a whole proposal like it
was a work thing. So if the kids do really
well this summer and we work on behaviors, we could
call it the summer of the switch. And she goes, why, well,
because their behaviors have switched those things that we're working on,
and we get them a switch too, and we can
all play video games together? And she said no, But

that's that doesn't mean it's I'm not going to keep
pushing for it. It's the summer's not over.

So I really think the star chart is the way
to go, the smiley faces of the stars, one for you,
one for the kids. You can all work together to
get your switch. I love that idea. Tigers versus Oakland
