Speaker 1 (00:00):
Less than an hour out from kicking off What Is
in the Box Today, whoever guesses correctly is getting not
only a pair of tickets to see Low Cash at
the Intersection in July, but also one of those very
cool B ninety three Morning Show What's in the Box
T shirt.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
That's right, big shout out to Tina's Teas for that.
If you haven't seen what they look like, they are
on our Instagram right now at B ninety three dot com.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
People are loving the T shirts.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah, and I love your idea of like making them
different every single year.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Well, I know you like a good theme, like a season,
like so you changed the season, so twenty twenty six
will be different.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
And they have some really cool seasonal T shirts that
they put out like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Like, oh, they
do all of the things. So I'm like, I mean,
how far can we take this spooky themed What's in
the Box T shirt?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
We'll have to talk to Tina and see if she
can hook it up. But we're kicking at What's in
the Box off at six forty this morning, like we
always do on Wednesday mornings with the B ninety three
Morning show. I'm Allie Mack, I'm Mike. Here are three
things you should know. It's five fifty six. A tragic
crash shut down at westbound ninety six in Ionia County
for about seven hours yesterday. Two people were killed when

(01:18):
a box truck slammed into a pickup, pushing it into
a stopped semi Both vehicles then burst into flames. Investigators
say heavy traffic and drivers not keeping safe distances or
likely factors in that.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
So.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I know a lot of people are traveling this weekend,
just you know, make sure we're all doing what we
need to do. Jurors in the Sean Diddy Combs federal
trial say that they have reached a verdict on four
of five charges, but they say they're kind of stuck
on the biggest one, which is racketeering conspiracy. Some jurors
say they cannot be moved. The judges told them to

(01:53):
keep deliberating today. If they stay split, a mistrial could
be declared on that charge, while the others are announced.
As we gear up for Fourth of July weekend, here
is your reminder. Do not dive headfirst into unfamiliar water.
Experts say most spinal injuries happen in the summer, and
one bad dive can lead to lifelong paralysis. So play

(02:16):
it safe and go feet first. That's three things you
should know. Here is one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I have to dance around this a little bit because
the terminology they have here is just gross.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
A travel tip that you never expected.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
If you're flying this summer and you tend to be
someone who sweats a lot in the summer heat, they're saying,
please be sure to cool down before walking through security,
because there's a rising number of reported cases of swampy
areas setting off TSA alarms.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Ah, yes, this is a real thing.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Some passengers selected for the full body screening machine have
reported setting off the alarm for having excessive moisture all
over their body.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Well, what are we supposed to do about that. It's
not like you can jump into an ice bath or
a fan before you walk through security.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
There's nothing, Yeah, there's nothing.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
It turns out that these millimeter wave scanners are very
sensitive and can be triggered by liquid, including sweat.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
That means if you're a little.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Too warm or your clothes are cleaning in the wrong places,
the scanner might flag that area as suspicious, which may
lead to a little additional pat downs by the agents.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Now I'm worried about that.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
So now I'm sweating even more because I'm anxious about
being pat down because of my sweat.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Don't you know what, they wear gloves?

Speaker 3 (03:37):
They wear gloves.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I'm not anxious about the pat I just don't like
going into the like being pulled aside. I know I'm
not doing anything wrong, but it doesn't matter in that situation, Like.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
All right, I'm in trouble.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, it feels like you're going, yeah, immediately.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Going to jail.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
I've never heard I never would have ever thought of
this either being a thing, but I guess this is
something you have to worry about. Now.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Well, you know what, then you gotta put the fans
by TSA, or you gotta give us towels so we
can sham me off or something.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
B ninety three Sports.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Tigers had a rain delay yesterday, so they played a
doubleheader today. The first game's at one to ten. You
can hear that on our sister station, Wood Radio. Also,
they have a game later on in the evening at
six point twenty that can also be heard on our
