recent father, so he's not able to make it. But
he's going to be a part of my wedding and
we are having a our bachelor party is going to
be at that Cincinnati, at that show. We are kicking
things off with wrestling that weekend, and we're going to party, golf,

(02:34):
casino the rest.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Of the week.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Oh you love us. We love to hear that. Love that.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
So he's not getting any sleep and you are gonna
be literally in the gym.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
All the time.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Absolutely, we have a good balance over here. And Billy
sometimes he has two kids to take care of. He
has his own child and now me. So yeah, it's fun. Yeah, exactly,
there's a lot of things. I did get to meet
his baby last week, so it was the first time
meeting my little niece.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
She's sweet.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I can't wait for the first time I'm asked to babysit.
They might regret it for ever, but well, he's.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Got to be babysitting you for your weekend.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So you know it only works out, right.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Why not why not take advantage while you can?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
That's right, that's right. Well, we're taking advantage of having
you on It's great WWE superstar, former two time Women's
tag team champ, Jade Cargill. I want to just get
on in to talk about it. I know that the
Summer Slam didn't go as as well as you planned,
but there's still a lot of great accomplishments to talk about.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Jade.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
You're the first black woman to win the Queen of
the Ring tournament. They're making history in that aspect, doing
it over in Saudi Arabia, just breaking ground. You defeated
OSCA to have the chance to go on to Summer Slam,
and Tiffany Stratton is at the top of her game
right now. It didn't go the way that you want it,
But what would you say is the best way? What's

(03:53):
the best thing coming for Jade Cargill going forward? It
was like to kind of get yourself into that spotlight said,
it didn't go as you want.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
What's next?

Speaker 1 (04:02):
How do you plan to rebound from that and kind
of get yourself back into the title picture.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
You know what, I think everybody's taking me for granted
right now. I think that everybody's sitting back and they're
they're trying to analyze every little thing I do, and
I'm trying to do things the right way. I'm trying
to do everything the right way. I'm trying to buy
by the rules. I'm trying to be this new individual
and it's it's it's not working.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
It's not working. It's not working.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
And with that being said, I think some things need
to change and I'll beget in the title shot soon
with all these changes.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I mean sure, we've we've talked about. One of the
main things that you carry yourself with is confidence. You
you sound like a million bucks, you look like a
million bucks, and you just kind of manifest things into
your life and you've already made it to the top
of the mountain before. There is no doubt, at least
on this side, that you won't be back that way.
And it's it's it's fun to see. It's fun to
see you row too, and everything that you've done and

(05:02):
prove it whatever you've done before. Obviously you've had a
career before WWE. And you actually mentioned on the Busted
Open show right before Summer Slim that you feed off
of hate and that's very relatable to any underdog out
there that likes to see your story of anybody that
is kind of not getting it's someone that's getting taken
for granted. Like you just said, you obviously had the

(05:23):
life before WWE, a record breaking title, rein over there,
you come over here, you're the queen of the ring,
you're a two time women's tag champion. I guess the
question is is how do you handle the pressure and
the criticism going forward? Because you are a fairly confident
individual and you're a very competitive individual. So it's fun
to have a chip on your shoulder, but you can't

(05:44):
let that eat at you too much, right, No, you know.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Society says back, and it's like, well, you need to
be confident, you need to know yourself, you need to
walk in with your.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Head held high and you're back straight right. But no
one really likes that.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
People don't like that because they call you cocky and
you think you're full of yourself. But no, what I've
how I feel about myself. She have nothing to do
about how you feel about yourself. And societies sists there
and they want you to like have They want women
to be confident, but they don't. They don't want women
to be confident and knowing themselves right.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
So it's such a toss up. People are like, oh,
she she's.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Confident, she knows herself. But wait, not too confident. Not
too confident. You can't be too confident.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
You walk in the room.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Thinking you know everything. It's like, so you know what's
going on in my head? What's what's happening?

Speaker 3 (06:28):
You know exactly because I'm holding my head high. How
do you know?

Speaker 4 (06:31):
I could have cried in the car. You don't know
what's going on with me right now. So it's it's like,
how do I deal with all that? Honestly, my boss
is happy, my checks are clearing, my family is happy.
I have a postora of rewards behind me. So but
that's me, like just like confidently speaking. And again, what

(06:55):
I eat shouldn't make you feel if anything.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Is, you should say, you know what. I like that girl.
She's right.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
She's not letting anyone take her down and make her
feel some type of way because she knows herself. And
maybe I should know myself more and maybe I should,
you know, And but people don't take it like that,
you know, like people are like, oh, she doesn't because
I don't. I don't post me in the ring all
the time when I'm in the ring all the time,
But people I don't even post my workouts.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
But people know I'm at the gym all the time, right,
I don't. I just I'm very I'm very much.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
We share our lives with the WWE universe, So the
little piece that I can't keep with myself. I like
to keep to myself and I like to be around
I'm usually around my family or my friends. But my
family and my friends are the ones that help me
deal with all of it. And being that I have
someone who has lived in the limelight and has dealt

(07:45):
with criticism, obviously he was able to talk it back.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
But that's what I Yeah, that's where I get it from.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
But uh, and just knowing myself and just being able
to know, you know what, I'm the only person that
has to live with this mindset. Nobody else has to
deal with this mindset. I have one body, I have
one mind, and I'm gonna take care of it. I
can care less because at the end of the day,
they're all gonna be They're all gonna say they knew
the vision, that they knew that I was going to
be this person, but at the time, but at the time,

(08:16):
and it's inevitable.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
So no, I mean you you just mentioned an iron
sharpens iron, right when you have a Cincinnati Reds Hall
of Famer that you're going to the gym with every day,
and obviously, yeah, somebody that's got thrown out of a
couple of games because he was to a first Yeah, yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
He justifies it all. But you know, I can.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
I can deal with it because I've seen he sometimes
sometimes kept his composure and so I just had a
great example in seeing that, and I was like, okay,
all right, like Jake, keep your head on your shoulders.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Crazy, And at the end of the day, my boss
is happy, production is happy, and this is what they want,
you know. And I'm just starting, like I'm just starting.
I think, like I was, I said in an interview
not too long ago, I remember when I was in
the tag team division.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I was four years.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
I'm four years of some change now in this industry.
And I think the other person that was I think
had the less amount of time with Beyonce, and I
think she was eleven years in the game, you know.
And people want things so quick and so fast because
I've been pushed to the moon because I'm going to
be a star, and people see that. I mean, Roman
people used to say stuff about Roman and Roman.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
You know, not everybody loves Roman. People want to see
Roman more and so.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
And I've had people like Brian Danielson who literally was
like it took me seven years to feel comfortable, like
how are you doing this?

Speaker 3 (09:47):
This is wild.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
I used to go out and saying the anthem before
to feel comfortable like I don't know, I'm just out
here doing it like I always had that thing about me.
So you just can't let people get you down like
that's society negativity, peas on negativity.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
No, no, absolutely, And and you got a good attitude
about it. And you have, like I said, the surrounding
cast people you support yourself with. And he'll just getting
even to talk to Brian Danielson and have him saying, girl,
how do you do it? That's got it, That's got
to mean something to you. But let's talk about a
little bit more positivity. I know that we're going to
be wrapping up here in a couple of minutes once
again WWE Superstar Jade Cargill. She's going to be in

(10:25):
town WWE SmackDown Cincinnati October third, Heritage Bank Arena. Go
get your tickets now. It's a show that you guys
don't want to miss We're coming off of right before
Summer Slam Evolution too. Your no holds barre match with
Naomi was absolutely wild, Chairs, tables, trash cans, jaded through
the steel to win. Yeah, it was awesome. Right you

(10:46):
had Bianca bell Air there and everything just culminated from
that storyline into that big match right there. What was
it like, you know, just being a part of such
a huge programing of how this is for women's wrestling,
the evolution. I'll also answer second question one of that
because I want to chase a squirrel. Does that mean
that you're all done with Naomi? Is there any unfinished

(11:07):
business with Bianca? Is everything cool on that end right
now with you?

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Jade?

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Okay, let's start from the first question, because it's an
extended to be a part of with with all these
astounding women and meant the world and that was our own,
that was our second one right in so many years,
and it's something that we all said down to.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
We're like, hey, we want this to be a yearly thing.
You know, we want people and I.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Think if you ask anybody, that was one of the
top pls of this year, and we did the best
we could. We did the best the story lives that
were made, and we just wanted to leave people in
awe and wanting more from these type of pls. I
think we hit it out the ballpark. I thought the
main event was jaw dropping. I think my match with

(11:54):
Naomi finally was a thorn that was in my side
for a while. I think after Mania, she tried to
end my career. So where do we go from there?
We have a match at Mania, Okay, where do you
go from there? Because this girl was trying to At
one point she put razors in my birthday cake.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
You know, it's.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
She's Jane's insane, insane, and her fans are just as
insane because they try to justify her craziness. But I
think it was a great way to end it. A
noble bars match, no whole Bar's match. I think that everything,
all the elements that we used were interesting. I didn't

(12:34):
know a kindlestick hurt as bad as it was my
first like that. I know Kendlesticks knocked the wind out
of you, and I'm happy we allly got that one.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Goodness, that was something. But it was fun. I had
a great time.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
The crowd was electric, I think we didn't even think
that many people were going to come out for that show,
because you know, we didn't We didn't do so much,
like the story lines weren't really there. But the fact
that the crowd showed up for us was amazing and
the fact that we were able to deliver and people
want more. I know it's something that's going to happen

(13:11):
and be a yearly pl now moving on.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
I think there's so much more to be said about
our story that is so many blink spots.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
I don't know where Bianca and I are.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
I don't know what's going on between she and I.
I know that I'm very guarded and a lot of
a lot of this because Naomi is slick, but she's
not that slick, like she's very messy, and I think
everybody can see that she's very very messy. And Naomi

(13:53):
was somebody in the industry where before I even came
to WWE, I trusted. And you know, there's a lot
of misunderstanding because it wasn't like Bianca and I were
just like hey, like it was something that was brought
to us and we both agreed to it, you know,
like anything else that happens in this industry, and me

(14:14):
being new, I'm not going to present ideas. The idea
was brought to me and I thought it was a
great thing. So for nail me to have these feelings
for me and then try to take me out, for
there not to be a conversation about that, for there
not to be a conversation between Bianca and I are
all three of us and just sitting down and really

(14:37):
getting to it, and maybe it's going to take more
than one or two conversations because things get hot, people
want to fight. I'm happy Naomi is out of my side,
but I don't think she really is.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
And Beyonca and I have yet to talk, and so
it's so me. I don't think it's done.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
I think it's it's resting for now, Yes, doing that
for now, but it so much more to it.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Gotcha, Well, we're Jade, we're certainly looking forward to it.
I think you have a good state to claim because
you're the last person to actually beat her in the
singles match before she came champion. That might might be skewed,
but I think you're the last person to do it.
So if anybody is gonna have a claim you still
have that to hitch you on too, uh. Jade, once again,
thank you so much for joining. We certainly appreciate your time.

(15:22):
WWE SmackDown Cincinnati. It's only guys an hour away from here.
Get your tickets. You'll see Jade Cargill, you see all
the other ww favorite superstars. Get out there and check
it out. Jadeen, thank you so much for joining again.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
No problem, thank you. Three is a charm.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
That's right, Three is a charm.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
We'll see what.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
We'll see you in Cincinnati, Besty. We'll invite you out
to go do some go do some partying.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
If you're first, all right, let's do it.
