What if your lost parrot came back speaking Spanish? That’s just the beginning of the hilarity and curiosity in this episode of The Bama Brown Experience!

Join Bama Brown and the Big Puma as they dive into a whirlwind of stories that blend humor, history, and a touch of conspiracy. From a parrot with a new linguistic flair to the enduring mystery of Hitler’s fabled gold train, this episode is packed with unexpected twists and laugh-out-loud moments. You’ll hear:
  • A bizarre tale of a multilingual parrot gone rogue in London.
  • A Doberman that only responds to Spanish—and has a serious grudge.
  • Why you can now rent a grandma in Japan (yes, really).
  • A deep dive into the legend of Hitler’s gold train, complete with seismic scans, tourism booms, and suspiciously convenient “new tunnels.”
  • A nostalgic nod to Uncharted and the Indiana Jones legacy, including the surprising revelation that Tom Selleck was almost cast as Indy.
  • The forgotten Charlton Heston film that may have inspired Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Whether you're a history buff, a conspiracy theorist, or just here for the laughs, this episode delivers. Plus, get the scoop on the Iron Resurrection crew’s move to YouTube and what that means for fans of the show.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Well, hi, everybody. You're listening to the Bama Brown Experience
on the iHeart podcast Network along with the Big Cat Puma.
The Big Puma got the Sports Cave. You're live tonight.
Oh it's gonna be crazy. I've already called the cops
on y'all.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. Bring in the crowd control.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Now.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
We are live virtually on YouTube tonight eight o'clock Downbeat
as normal over on YouTube at Sports Cave Live. But
if you just need the audio version, trust me, I
get it. I understand completely. I just searched for the
Sports Cave with the Biggest Puma. Anywhere you get your podcasts.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
I'm gonna make you laugh, all right. This made me
laugh and I'm just stupid.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
But there was a guy in London four years ago.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
He had a parent, big giant parent that talked, and
four years ago he opened the window and the damn
parent flew out the window. He came back this week
and now he only speaks Spanish.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
That's amazing. It's like you see those videos all the
time of the dogs. Someone will adopt a dog and
they'd say, like you always know of the dogs trained,
and then they adopt it and it doesn't follow anything
until you speak Spanish. Like animals are smart.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Like that, they are like that.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
My friend growing up in Odessa, his dad had a
paint company.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
They painted. It was really a crazy compny.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
They painted, They built and painted aircraft refuelers for the
airport and it was huge business for them. But everybody
worked for him was you know, visiting our country, tourists.
And they had a Doberman for their shop dog. And
he only spoke Spanish and he didn't like me. He
growled me all the time, and I was like, way, no,
I didn't know, you know, four words of Spanish, so

(01:43):
I was.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Throwing words out until until he went next to something.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
All I knew was he didn't like me much at all.
Uh okay, So if you go to Japan right now,
you can get a U. You can hire a grandma
in Japan for twenty three dollars an hour cooking lessons
not what you were thinking there for a second lesson.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah me love you a long time.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
You can get cooking lessons, you can get advice and
she'll sit and listen to your bullshit and you know,
act like it adders And that's twenty three dollars an hour.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
So that's that's a good chip.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Absolutely, And she may not even speak English. I don't know.
You may have to only be Japanese. There. Okay, I
did something stupid yesterday. I think you'll enjoy knowing this.
I watched this.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
You enjoy when I when I'm done. I watched this
show about Hitler's gold Train. Oh okay, yeah, man, I
am focused on this. I'm watching the details and I'm
and I'm like, it's real, it's happening. And then it
comes out of this castle and it's in poland her
in and then yeah, okay, so it's an hour long.

(02:54):
At exactly fifty minutes, I got ten minutes left.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I remember that I already watched.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
That's the worst.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Is that not the word? I was like, I've seen this.
I think, wait a minute, and I went back and
looked it up. Yeah, it was four years old. However,
you know, I'm such a nerd.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I went and looked it up on the online to
see if anything of that. And in twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Five they have had an updated They think it yeah,
they think it's buried like.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
They had buried it supposedly world War two.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
It had Hitler's gold is going down and they buried
it on the ground. They're in Poland near his castle
where they had a bunch of German treasure stuff that
they had stolen. And uh wait they so the town.
I mean, it was like rumored forever that that's where
it was. And then when they came, they dropped seismic,
they did all stuff, they dug, They got these tunnels

(03:46):
they dug, and then it turns out there wasn't no
there wasn't no gold. Training want to train it all
in there. But the mayor said, he goes, well, it's
been worth it to our economy about two hundred million dollars.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Over the years.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
So he said, that's kind of the gold train right there. However,
he's come back out, and they came back out in
twenty twenty five. They said there's a second set of
tunnels underneath those tunnels, which I'm pretty sure the mayors
made that up too, you know about.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Because he saw that tourism money starting.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
To dry up.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Exactly all the amateur archaeologists Indiana Jones wanna bees that
are over there digging on their own trying to find it.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
They had some pretty trick equipment that and it looked
like you could make out kind of on the deal,
but it turns out it was completely it was It
was nothing. It was like anomalies in the rocks or
something that you would think they'd have that the bugs
worked out in twenty twenty four or twenty twenty when
this was done, But certainly in twenty twenty five it
should be all.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
You know, they should know what's rocks and what or
a train.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Look, I'm not gonna lie any any Nazi urban legend.
I'm probably gonna sit there and watch an hour long
documentary about whether it's gold train whatever, anything to do
with the occult. I mean, I again, I was raised
on Indiana Jones and absolutely beginning of the fascination. And
now you know, it's more more urban legends like that

(05:11):
keep coming out. My interest has not waned whatsoever.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Then some bitches were all over Argentina, man, I mean,
they had those U boats going down there. That's that
woman that was on that one show.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
She died.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
She's on her deathbed and she saw Hitler. She said,
I the guy goes. I believe she's not trying to
get money, she don't want to get famous. She's on
her deathbeds.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
You don't care.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
But she said, I saw Hitler when I was a kid,
you know, And she said, I know, I know.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It wasn't some fake Hitler. It was a real one.
You know.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
He had a bunch of fake ones that looked like
him when they tried to kill him, you know, they
he got a bunch of he got a bunch of uh,
you know, had a bunch of fake ones. So people
would think, you know, that was him or whatever, which
not a not a very good job to have, I
don't think, I mean, short lived and certainly dangerous.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
So there was a there was a great video game
a couple decades ago called Uncharted. It was basically a
knockoff Indiana Jones, but the main storylines was the main character,
who's a you know, crypt a tomb raider archaeologist guy
right the German U boat in the middle of the rainforest.

(06:19):
And that's kind of the beginning of Oh.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Like this, it's pretty bad.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
It's pretty Yeah, no, it's and it's one of those
games that's more like a movie than a game, you know,
watching it for the story, and so yeah, I've I've
always anytime any kind of that media crosses my plate.
I consume all of it.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
There's a there's a movie in the Raiders is not
the original. There's one with Charlton Histon that goes back.
It's color is in color, and he's he's dressed exactly
like Indiana Jones and he's a treasure hunter. And I mean,
it's just it's just total rip off of that is
what what I saw.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
And then you know who was supposed to be Indiana Jones.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Tom Selleck had already he'd already agreed to do it,
and then that Magnium deal came up, and you you
look up punch up Indiana Jones movie poster or Raiders
movie poster with Tom Selleck, they had the movie posters
were already done, and it was him. He was that
was gonna be his deal man, and then this Magnum
thing happened and so he went with that instead. It

(07:21):
was it was mediate and you know, the and I
think a better deal for him, and I think he
turned out okay. Hell, he was on Blue Blood yesterday,
you know, so.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Yeah, I think they both turned out okay. So I've
I see the Tom Sellick as Indiana Jones. It's so
hard to see Indiana Jones with Tom Sellick's mustache. That's
how hard. I had no idea about the Charlton Heston
movie A Secret of the Incas. Yeah, before that is
the exact same outfit.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
He looks exactly like total ripoff.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I mean, I'm not sitting here criticize him, but I'm like, hey,
that's I mean, that's fine, you know you but still
you know wow.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
No, I hadn't know what you taught me something new today?

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, let's stop now. If I taught you something new,
now is the time the South. I'm so glad I did.
I'm so glad I did. All right, Uh, we'll catch
you tonight Live with the Sports Cave. Hit that again,
plug it again real quick, and let's get out of here.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yes, sir, pull up that YouTube app anywhere eight o'clock
downbeat starting about.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Eight oh five.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Really, but just look for YouTube at Sports Cave Live.
Come join the fun.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I forgot let me plug something to Iron Resurrection is
now on YouTube.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yeah, they signed a deal with YouTube.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
They're not going back to the I think motor trend's
still showing. I saw where there was some new z
Indigs and new graveyard cars, but the Martin Brothers didn't sign,
and they they've gone to YouTube so and they've got
one hundred thousand viewers already, so look for I don't
know if it's under Martin Brothers or Iron Resurrection. I
don't know if they got to keep the name. I

(09:01):
really should ask, since I'm on the.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Show, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
But but Amanda called me the other day and said, hey,
we need to do a promo. She hadn't been on yet,
and she said, we need to do a promo, and you and.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I need to get back on there. But I don't.
I don't know if I'll ever do it again or not.
I don't have any idea. All right, well, we'll see
you tomorrow.
