h h w he was he Houston?
Speaker 4 (01:42):
I think now, yeah, I think George w CA we
reconsider him local. I think his dad is more of
like a what is that West Texas oil guy? I believe,
just know that in that audio, Ozzie stands up on
a table in front of a bunch of Washington power burgers.
Fantastic and if you have him there, you expect nothing less.
Ben Rogers, Jeff Wade, Jeff skin Wade, Kevin K. T.
(02:04):
Turner and Christina k Ray A little baby, corn bread,
Ray promotemeal, pizza. All hands on deck today, And I
got two things to tell you guys about as we
get things started, and it's gonna be a great show.
We're gonna keep you laughing all the way through your
work day, all the way till six. Christine is gonna
take over and play some tunes after that. But I
had the chance to go see the Superman movie. Whoa Yeah,
(02:26):
And there's been lots of excitement around that movie when
you guys agree, oh tons touns of buzz really, and it's.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Driving up dog adoptions apparently, which I love. Okay, right, yes,
it's like have you seen it?
Speaker 4 (02:38):
No? Okay, then I'm gonna see if Ben can tell
us why that is. Because I have been seeing a
lot of dog adoption stuff on my timeline lately.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I didn't know why. Yeah, and this is.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
This movie is being heralded as having lots of optimism
and like being kind of a happy movie. Right. It
leaves you leaving the theater fire up with something positive,
positive message.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
And didn't the guy is it James gunn see the
guy involved? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Any Guardians of the Galaxy. There's definite vibes from it
that are similar to Guardians of the Galaxy. But this
is a movie that eighty It's gotten eighty three percent
score from critics, so eighty three percent of the critics
like it. Ninety two percent of audiences. Our thumbs up strong,
all right, really incredibly strong.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
I hated it.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Sorry, There's there's a couple of things about it that
I liked. I like the New Superman. I'm always leary
of when you have a first of all, it's weird
to me to keep making the same movies over and
over and over and over and over, and I'm super
heroed out.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
I just don't care that menasment. I don't love it
DC Fantastic, this is DC. This is not the next
big Marvel. That new Marvel's supposed to be nuts. I
heard that. I'll give it. That's supposed to be nuts.
How do you know my schedule? But I'm not crazy.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
The reason I I'm not crazy about these movies to
begin with because I'm like, you're just making the same
things over and over and over and over and over
and over again. Occasionally you can hit a home run
doing that. Like I thought the new Mission Impossible movie.
I thought that was really good, the eighth one. It
may have been the ninth or tenth one. KT loved
the Fast and Furious one where they went up into
space and that.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Call ten of Them.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
I also liked Vin diesel Is that little shrub and
Guardians of the Galaxy Groot.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
That was awesome. Don't you dismiss group.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
That would be?
Speaker 4 (04:30):
I liked Guardians of Galaxy. Yeah, I thought that was
a good movie. Like I thought the original Iron Man
was good. I thought those three Batman movies were good,
the one in the middle of being the best of
those three. I thought that Vin that was Vin Diesel's
best performance before he turned into a potato.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
But this New Superman I had to go see it
because people were excited about it. I'm hearing lots of
buzz and good reviews. And obviously, James gunn Is is
typically good and Man the New Superman is good casting wise,
he's good.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Any nudity, no, it's.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
PG thirteen gross and man right off the rip, it's
obvious that a dog is heavily involved in the script
super Dog. Oh like wrote it, and I don't understand why.
It's like, how does a dog get superpowers just for
being his dog? And he just adopts the dog. That's great,
dog adopts strip.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
But the dog also demonstrates superpowers? How yes, Lex Luthor, Dude,
I'm just like, how is that possible? How does this
dog have superpowers? And then at the very end they
make it clear that all right to Supergirl movies coming,
Let's introduce a wild, wacky Supergirl element to this.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Oh it's her dog, and it's like, this sucks. I
don't know women and dogs. He's anti women and dogs.
What a stance to take. Supergirl is going to be
the girl from House of the Dragon. Yes, and I
love her.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
She's very interesting name Millie Alcock.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Mm.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
She's great. She's great.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
She looks like, uh, you know, she's she's gonna have
a great career as an actor. But like it's so
forced and contrived and fake and formulaic. And I'm like, why,
Like you had you had kind of kind of had
the makings of something cool here the new Superman works.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
But man, they really forced the dog on this thing.
So the dog flies around.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
I mean, it's hard to say, like exactly, this dog
has all sorts of superpowers, and I'm like, I don't
understand from Maybe it's from It's just I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
It looks like a terrier.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Maybe, oh but maybe it maybe it's her dog from
super Planet. I don't know, because she's clearly dog sitting
for her. But anyways, I I don't want to take
anything away from it. You you listening to this, you
may like it. You you may have seen it, you
may love it. And if it boosts the careers of women, Christina,
I'm for it. Are you anything that boosts up women
I'm a fan of. Yeah, that product is called boost
(07:02):
I think. All right, coming up next, Skin, where are
you gonna take us in things? Skin is tracking all right,
I'm tracking this burger war that isn't really and also
my new favorite athletic endeavor.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
I'll tell you all about it.
