Speaker 1 (00:00):
And in Skin Show ninety seven point one, the Eagle

(00:02):
don't forget nine inch nails tickets. At some point during
the show, be listening for your chance for that Christina?
What do you have coming up in the cookie jar?
At the bottom of the hour.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
The two opening acts that Ozzie regretted the most.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Ooh, I want to hear this, but right now it's
time for this. Mawnin is cool around the sports, KGD
twins as.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
All the sports.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Okay, so last night and I was not watching this live.
I haven't paid much attention to baseball playoffs, but something
awesome happened, Like one of those once in a lifetime
situations happened. Okay, the Mariners are playing the Tigers. There's
a player for the Mariner's name cal Raley. Cal Raley
hit sixty home runs in the regular season.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
God his name was it was that many? Do you
know his nickname, Big Cal? It's big dumper. Oh, because
he's a catcher, a cage but all right, a big dumper.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
That's amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
So I'm gonna play the audio of his home run
and then explain to you what happened. Yeah, Well, struck
ball deep left field and gone oh, great, pick right there.
He literally has a shirt that says dump here.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Home my word, and he got the home run on
a bounce.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
So the guy who caught the home run and left field,
he's wearing a shirt that says dump sixty one here.
Oh my god, Okay, are you serious? Yes, he got
it off the bounce out of the bullpen. I went
into the bullpen, bounced up, and he got it. Incredible,
dump sixty one here. Then he rips off his shirt

(01:39):
and he's wearing another shirt that says dump sixty two here? What?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
How does that happen? How does that happen? Forty thousand
people at the game.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
This is why everyone thinks that life is a simulation.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Why you play the lottery?

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Honestly, Yes, that's why you go and watch the draft lottery.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
When Cooper flag is available, How awesome is that? Which
that might be our to a quick little MAVs nugget. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
By the way, I just I haven't been watching a
lot of the baseball playoffs either, and I happened to
be watching last night when Judge hit that three run homer.
They were down six to two, down two in the series,
and they had an explosive inning, and they ended up
beating the J's And now it's I guess there's four
elimination games today in Kingdon. Hypothetically elimination games.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Incredible.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I might pay a little attention.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, it's fun. A shout out to big Dumper. Okay, uh,
the I don't know how concerning this is. Dante Exum
has been hurt. So when he plays for the Mavericks,
he's good because he's big, he can defend, and he
attacks downhill relentlessly and gets all the way to the rim.

(02:46):
And the Mavericks, you're a team that needs to score
in transition this year, they need to push the tempo
out of defense, and so a guy who attacks and
is a good defender is a great fit for that.
But if you go back and look in his two
years with the Mavericks, he's missed a lot of games eames.
He's mysteriously unavailable.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I don't like that, dude, and so much.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
So that yesterday the Mavericks announced that they have signed
Delano Banton. Yeah, who's kind of a fringe NBA. He
played I probably played in like sixty games or so
last year for Portland. But you weren't paying attention because
Portland was difficult to watch. They were very competitive in
the last half of the year, but they were developing

(03:26):
young guys and so you see a lot of wild.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Ass basketball when you're doing that.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
But I like their coach, Chauncey Billips, and so anyways,
this guy was available. He's like a six eight six'
nine point, guard and he's got long arms and he can,
defend and.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
He's a pretty good.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Passer but he's kind of like a lesser version Of Dante.
Exam and so the fact that they're signing him and
giving him a, lookxie and they're not saying what is
or isn't wrong With Dante, exam just that he's not.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Available it ain't a great. Sign kill a little nervous.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
NOW i know, That like people, Go, okay you work
for The, MAVs you must have some. INSIGHT i do.
NOT i want you to. Know i'm not, like, yeah
kind of setting something out here winking BECAUSE i know
SOMETHING i. DON'T i Just i'm, like, man what is?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Happening, well the math On Dante exam's career is wild
because eight in eight seasons two hundred and just quickly
looked this. Up he's missed in eight, seasons two hundred
and seventy five.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Games.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Incredible he's played in three hundred and twenty, games so
he's missed about half of the you know about.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Half, yeah you can get.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
There.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Fifteen he was a lottery pick In utah and then
got TRADED i think To. CLEVELAND i can't remember where
he got. Traded and then he went and played In
europe and restarted his. Career and there is a guy
that was a consultant for The mavericks Named Dennis. Lindsay
And Dennis lindsay was THE gm In utah and Drafted Dante. ExHAM,

(04:50):
yeah and so when he was, here they Signed Dante
ExHAM AND i thought he was really good.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Here he's just been. Hurt he helped this team so.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
MUCH i think all up the court When, Kyrie you're,
right AND i think he might there'd be games where
they would consider starting. Him, Yeah so bummer. News but
maybe it's. Nothing But i'm looking at they got a
lot of point guards in, camp, dude a. Lot they
Brought Dennis Smith junior in. Here, yeah like there's a.
LOTS i don't, know just something to keep an eye.

(05:17):
On maverick's next play Against charlotte On. Saturday all, right
It's beIN And Skin show ninety seven point.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
One The eagle coming up.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
