Speaker 3 (00:39):
O wild Life Lue.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
All right, guys, this morning I saw an article from
a San Antonio outlet about a man who was a
truck driver and he had claimed that he had seen
a bigfoot eighty miles east of Dallas. So I read
the article, I tracked down the guy and joining us
now on ninety seven to one The Eagle and the
Free iHeartRadio app. It is Wayne Yerian, the man who
(01:04):
claims that he saw a bigfoot. Hello Wayne, Welcome to
the Ben and Skin Show.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Hey, good morning. How are you.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
We're doing awesome. Tell us about what you saw. Eighty
miles east of Dallas.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
You know, I was doing a road project with my
company and I was on my third load of the day.
It was about now two o'clock or so in the afternoon,
and as I was headed south on State Route twelve
fifty three, I rounded a slight curve and there was
a large clearing on the right hand side and something
(01:36):
caught my eye. I looked over and there was a
large creature walking in this field about two hundred feet
off the roadway, so I had a pretty clear.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
View of him.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
And as I was going about fifty five miles an hour,
it took my brain a few minutes to process what
I saw. And I had already passed the area, and
I realized that I had seen a big You hear
a lot about them, but I realized that what I
had seen is is a bigfoot.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
All right, this is incredible because I believe in Bigfoot.
And first of all, kudos to you for three loads
in one day. A lot of people can't do that.
That's oppressive, man. Okay. So that said, you see bigfoot?
Was I have so many questions? Did he kind of
look like Chebacca from Star Wars, and could you tell
(02:27):
if it was a male or female?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Did not tell what.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
The sex of the preacher was. You know, it was
seven feet plus. I would imagine the arms hung down
below the knees, so I know it wasn't a bear
or something else. You know, a lot of people want
to disclaim what you see, but there's been too many
sightings in that area, over two thousand sightings in that area.
(02:54):
Because it's near the Sabine River and it was just
walking at a normal pace. The noise of the truck
didn't seem to scare it, and there wasn't any other
reason for anybody or anything to be in that field.
My wife contacted the DFRO, which is the Bigfoot Research organization,
(03:15):
and was just talking to them about it and found
out that there had been over two thousand sightings, and
a couple reached out to us, which our investigators. We
met with them a week later at the site and
we discussed it. We talked about it, he interviewed me,
We took pictures, and it just so happened that a
(03:36):
pickup truck was coming from a distance away on that
property and they came through an open gate, and my
wife went and talked to him and found out that
was the property manager. That's a large cattle property. An
organization in Dallas owns all that property. We don't know
who it is, but my wife talked to the guy
(03:59):
and found that he was actually the manager of the property.
They would not allow us any access to the property
because we asked if we could go out there and
look around, but he denied its access. But he said
that they don't hunt that area and generally they don't
allow the cattle to come out that far near the road,
so there's really no other reason for anyone or anybody
(04:22):
to be on that property. There wasn't a four wheel drive.
There wasn't a side by side a four wheel or anything.
This creature wasn't carrying anything, and there was no clothing.
Two hundred feet isn't very far away. I had a
good clear view as it was walking away. I saw
like a three quarter view from the left. I did
(04:43):
see the pad type area on its hand as its
arm was swinging. I couldn't tell on the right side
because of the way the angle was. But it was
a hairy creature, darkish brown, and it just just moved away.
It was in the field was probably twenty acres of clearing,
(05:03):
and it's headed toward a wooded area. And if I
could have stopped at the time, I would have, But
by the time I realized what I saw, I had
already passed it and there wasn't a clear area for
me to pull a semi over. So when I came
back through thereafter delivering my load, I looked again, and
of course it was already gone at the time. But
(05:24):
the property owner said that they had heard they hear
strange sounds a lot, and it also borders a swamp,
so he said he doesn't doubt that there's something in there,
but you know, he wouldn't allow us in there. We
wanted to try to see if we could see footprints
or get a hair sample or something, but he said
because of the privacy of the property, and we understood
(05:45):
and we respected that.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Wang.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
As you're breaking all this down, it's interesting to mean,
you talked about the pads on the hand. Are you
saying that it had pause for hands or could you
tell was it more human hand? And what was the
gate like? Was it walker looking upright with good posture?
Was it hunched over? How was this creature moving.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
It walked with purpose upright, like I say, it had
to be. It's hard to tell at the angle I
was coming down the slight hill, but it had to
be well over seven feet walked upright. It had a
long stride, a lot more than a human, you know,
its gate and its stride was probably twice what the
(06:26):
average human would be. I would imagine like I say,
it wasn't in a hurry. The noise of the truck
didn't scare it. It was just just rocking along, you know,
just walking. And I'm sure it probably went into the
woods on the other side of the property. But when
we went back with the couple to kind of research it,
we didn't hear anything. It was still a beautiful saturday
(06:49):
we met them, and it was clear blue sky. The
day I passed it, it was eighty plus degrees. So
there's no reason for anyone to be out there in
a suit, you know, like I say, being private property,
there wouldn't wouldn't be anybody walking on their property anyway.
So I'm I'm pretty confident in what I saw, and
having traveled almost fifty years as a trucker, about thirty
(07:12):
years ago out towards Oregon. Something that crossed over the
road in front of me during that time, and it
was getting toward the late afternoon. It was a large figure,
but it darted across the road kind of quick. And
there's been a lot of sightings out in the Pacific Northwest,
so it could have been a it could have been
a sasquatch out there too, but I didn't have as
(07:33):
much time to view that as I did this one.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Well you didn't get it on the dash can.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Well that's what I was saying. I had my safety
department try to backtrack the camera and they looked for
a couple of hours and went slowly through the video,
and they said that they didn't really see anything definitive
because the camera was blurry.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Okay, going, you know, I do want to ask you this.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
An hour so you're out there waying, you're delivering low
all over the place, three loads that day, you just
happen to stumble across this. You see it just based
on the vibe of this sasquatch. Did you think that
if you had encountered it in person, would you think
somebody who's an outdoorsman would be inclined to shoot it?
Or do you think you would be inclined to try
(08:17):
to communicate with it.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Do you think it's hostile?
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Do you think it's out there like building, you know,
hiding in the woods, and it's got kids and stuff
out there. Is it just like a super wild, like
wear wolfy type animal.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
I believe there's a community of these things, because talking
with other people, they have seen some younger species, of
younger versions of them. I wouldn't shoot it, you know,
people want to research and see these things. I don't
think I would have shot it. I would have liked
(08:49):
to try to get something on film, you know, I
don't know if it would be hostileile or not. If
I could have stopped and I had had the time,
I would have probably tried to just step out, you know,
get in front of the truck and see if I
could take pictures of it. And I might have even
made a hoop or a yell just to cause it
(09:11):
to stop and maybe turn around. I don't know, you know,
you don't know what a creature like that might do,
whether it's hostile, whether it feels threatened. It's just I
don't know. I don't think I would harm it. I
would be more inclined to be curious about it.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
You know, well, man, we appreciate your time. I hope
you don't have too many skeptics doubting you out there.
And I hope that now that you've outed that you've
seen the Bigfoot, it doesn't hear about it and come
looking for you.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Well, you know, I mean, hopefully I'd like to see
another one. I really would. I'd like to. I like
to try to get it on film, and if I could,
you know, if nothing else, wave at it, see if
it would wave back. You never know.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yeah, awesome, Thank you, walle what happens. Appreciate your time, brother,
much continued sex to you, sir.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
You're very welcome.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
All right there he goes wing.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
You are on incredible stuff there from weighing. In fact,
I'll never forget the time KT met him out there
in that field near Sabine. He looked him dead in
his eye and he.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Said, I think people who know how to code, I
think they can do some stuff.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
Yeah, take that wing, Christina, your stick around, play some music.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Till ten o'clock.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
Wonderful. That's all coming up next right here on ninety
seven point one.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
The Eagle. There you going, you're well sorry
Speaker 4 (10:28):
I'm going to get some cheeks after this horse college
joint asking enough
