and wings. Uh, we're gonna talk about the cowboys defensive
performance after the rain delay. But I did want to
say this, watching Jalen Carter walk off the field after
spitting on Dak, I really like seeing that that guy

The waste management is always it's amazing because you can
go put bodies in the waist. But anyways, let's talk
about the Cowboys defensive performance after that weather delay. Kevin, Well,

Like the early returns from Kenny Clark?

Yeah?

Sure, uh, and I you know, you'd have to go
back and like really look at the film to see
what you know. After the storm delay, they were incredible.
So was he leading the charge? Was everybody leaving the charge?
They just scheme it better they get more guys in
the box. I'm not sure, but yeah, definitely like the
early returns, they were better against the run. They just

couldn't get really pressure.

Yeah, they literally like ran no blitzes in the first half. Yeah,
and the second half they did, and it changed everything.

My biggest concern defensively leaving that is what the hell

that was your plan? Just to bring four drop back
and no put no pressure and not have a spy
on Jalen Hurt's like, if they didn't get into twenty one,
you know, give up twenty one points in the first
three drives, they win the game.

It's like credit for the adjustment, but no credit in fact,
minus points for not doing it faster, right, because it's
like that's the whole thing is you want these things
like the I have a halftime adjustments or not like
that real. I mean it happens sometimes, but like this
needs to happen. Now they're clearly we have not gotten
close to stopping them in the first hailme.

What about a one hour weather delay adjustment?

Yeah, I mean for sure. I mean a little bit
of that happened before. But yeah, no, there's no doubt.
I thought, though, there's a lot of things to like
really like, I mean, if you look at it, I
don't know Treyvon Diggson to run Bland will And and
Kyle Elm should get credit for all this. But the
fact that their top two wide receivers had four catches total, yeah,
like twenty five yards is amazing.

Again, you'd have to leave at the film. But I
think that, I mean, part of it is Jalen Hurts
is just scared to throw the ball. I think, yeah,
like he's a running quarterback. But I mean like it
was not a thread at all. And once they realized,
oh my god, he's not gonna do anything to us
with his arm, and they loaded the box and started blitzing,
it was like a different game.

But yes, those corners deserve credit because they I mean,
for whatever reason, those receivers were held in check.
