Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point one. The Eagle
Kat's got a fun new game show involving some of
your favorite music of the past, and we'll roll that
out at the bottom of this hour.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
But right now it's time for this cow On.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Surprise. The segment's brought to you by Scrotine. Not getting
enough for your scrote all right? Protein?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Dude?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Have you heard of that product throatein No, your company
or a whole other thing, different concept. Well, I would
you mention a competitor in this segment just out of respect.
I have the NFL Playoffs simulator up for over at
the Athletic and the Cowboys currently have a twenty four
percent chance to make the playoffs after there.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Is Thanksgiving Day beat down to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So I was wondering what it was going to be
after none of the games went their way yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
But it's okay.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
How about the Carolina Panthers with sharp teeth, teeth and
claws not helping.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
No, But you know, looking at the schedule ahead, there's
the way I see it. There's two sure shot ways
for them to get in. If they went out, they
have to win out and they could probably lose one game,
but it gets way more complicated and they have to
beat the Lions on Thursday.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I think the Lions game is now the most important
game of the year. I mean, there's a lot of
things you could say, and you could run the run
the table.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
You're in. Yes, run the table and you're in.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
My models would tell me that it's a ninety eight
percent chance you're in if you run the table.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Okay, here's where here's where it gets tricky. I think
there's three weak spots where they could get in one.
It's unlikely. But if the Eagles lose to the Charge
and the Bills and the Cowboys went out, they're gonna
win the Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Okay, so the Eagles collapse could be happening. But did
you see the rest of their schedule besides that.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yeah, but they got the Bills too, So yeah, so
Charges and Bills, they have to lose to the Bills.
In the Chargers scenario, is the Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert
broke his left hand yesterday.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
He was having surgery today.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
And if he can't get back in time, it will
be Trey Lance starting for the Charger.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Dude, you can't prepare for Trey Lanzomi. It's all kind
of perfect.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
So the Cowblis are Thursday night this week, so like
today is there, you know, say, would be their typical
Thursday on a game week, so we'll know who's all
playing probably tomorrow and all that stuff. They got Trayvon
Dicks practicing now and talking about wanting him to play, and.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
All right, I want to talk about Trayvon Diggs in
a minute, but I want to I want to talk
about these right quick. I do foresee a scenario where
the Niners completely fall out.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Two and they had the going into the season, the
league's softest schedule by far, but they did it with
the backup quarterback and everyone's hurt.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
But now their schedule is difficult because no one foresaw
how good the NL West was, specifically the Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
You mean the Rockies and the Giants and the Padres.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
NFC West, Sorry, NL West. So with the Rams losing
yesterday unexpectedly, I think that helps because I think that
they're more likely to beat the Niners. And then the
Niners have games with the Seahawks, and here's the weird thing. Now,
it would have been better to get the win, but

(03:35):
getting that tie ends up being great because they're gonna
have one fewer loss than a bunch of teams they're
tied with, Yes, and the Niners, who they don't play
this year, they don't have a game with them, so
there's no tie breaker. If the Niners and the Cowboys
have the same number of wins, the Cowboys are in
because they have that tie.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Yes, that's a huge one. And here's where I want
to do it this way. If you beat the Lions,
if you beat the Vikings next Sunday night. Do you
know started a quarterback for the Viking yesterday?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
No? Who his name was, Max Brosmer. Oh, I would
never heard of him.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yeah, if you lose to the Chargers, just being realistic,
here five games left, and then you beat the Commanders
and the Giants. That puts you at a fifty eight
percent chance to make the play. If you have one
loss and that yeah, Now if I moved around who
that loss was, that could change.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Now let me make that loss the Lions game. But
then you went out, you take down the Vikings, Chargers,
Commander's Giants. Yeah, okay, if you lose that Lions game,
but still go four and one in the last So
there's that's where it's like, that's where that this game
matters more than ever one.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Do you want to hear the thing that Kati doesn't
want to talk about what Packers stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
The Packers have two games against the Bears, and if
the Packers lose those two games to the Bears, the
Cowboys will get in over the Packers and and they'll
have the Packers first round pick.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
It's all coming, dude.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
We're living in a world right now where the Chiefs
probably not gonna make the playoffs. Yeah, where the Bears
and the Patriots and the Broncos are the best teams
in the league. Did you quite Frankly, they're not the
best teams.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
In the league.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
We are living in a world where if you want
the super Bowl, you go get it. Improve you're the
best team in January when you make the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
He's right, it's all there. And that's what the NFL.
You know there For years, it's been out. It's a
league of parody. The last two or three years we've
really seen it. I it's not fair to say this
because it's just dumb opinion.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
I feel like last year's Eagles is one of the
least impressive Super Bowl winners I've ever seen un and
because I remember watching them all year, going, man, they're
not They're not They're not good. They're okay, And you
know part of football is winning close games. That's what
the Broncos are doing. The Commander's got screwed, Like did
you watch that? Yes, they had two horrible things going

(06:00):
gets them in the final ten minutes of that game.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
And still got it down to going for two as badass.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
I've got some audio tomorrow too, as we really dive
into what the hell Chris Collinsworth was doing in that
game as well. Yep, very confusing the way he was
saying Marcus Mariota's name. Coming up next though, a couple things.
Why some of this does bother me because I think
Jerry Jones is getting off real clean here, oh gross
for doing the wrong things. He's doing the wrong things

(06:29):
the right way though.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
All Right, we'll break all that down next in Skin
Show ninety seven point one. The Eagle Bit'll be back
from vacation tomorrow. We'll have bad Omens tickets all week
long to give away, So don't miss the second of
the benin skin Show. But if you do, you can
always get the podcast on the free I heeart app
All right, let's do Cussing the Cowboys Part two.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
KT. What do you have on deck?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Well, I think like all of this that's happened, a
lot of it can time out to the Quinn Williams
trade and the bye week, yes, and helping fix the defense.
I do think Thursday will be the night that we
actually learn how much you know, teams are like really
scared of the Cowboys defense. Because if you look back
at all the games, did the Raiders try to run
it all?

Speaker 1 (07:10):
No?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
They did not.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
They always didn't try either, right, I mean, just take
one Barkley getting ten carries.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
You would have expected him to get twenty.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
But don't you think though that when teams have tried
to run the ball, the Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Of eating it up?

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Yes, oh absolutely, the Chiefs didn't even you know, couldn't
get it going. The Chiefs throw more than any other
team in the league. The Raiders didn't try, and the
Eagles should have ran more but didn't. The Lions are
trying to run the ball. So there's where you have
you can kind of see, Okay, they're starting center now
it's a backup center. Saw they were going to bring

(07:43):
back the starter who was like really good, but then
he did a physical and they're.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Like, you don't have a hamstring. Yeah, so they're not
getting him back. I thought he had he retired or
were retired.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah, okay, so the Lions are probably gonna miss the playoffs.
So yeah, weird still beat you. The Lions are good.
Their top wide receiver got hurt on Thanksgiving Day, like
he may not play.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
They still have Gibbs, dude, and he's a problem. So
here's the difference though.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
At defensive tackle, now you have Quinn Williams, Osa Oggizuwa,
Kenny Clark, Solomon Thomas. Before the trade you had a
lot of Do you remember Mazzie Smith? Do you remember
Jay Toya? Okay, that's a pretty big upgrade, right, huge
defensive ends right now.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
And wait, Quentin Williams is their best defensive player one
hundred percent. Yeah, like he's Yeah, he's.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
A thing too where I'm seeing some green Bay with Mike.
It's the thing too where everyone else is better when
a good player's there, right, like everyone else gets to
pad their stats.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
And by the way, I know we talked about this,
but this is why I think you figure out a
way to keep Kenny Clark. Oh yeah, And it's the
same thing with Picking and Lamb. It's like a similar thing,
just at a different part of the ball. To me,
there's no problem with paying your defensive tackles. It would
be a combined sixty million dollars next year. But you
can Clark's deal, you can, absolutely. But even if it

(09:01):
was that, like, I don't, like, I'm okay with that.
Yeah you have, you'll have the money. What about George
Pickens and that's gonna be a thing? Yeah, And god,
he's fun. He's worth it, dude. I don't even care.
Like the action, give me the action.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah, like, because taking his helmet off is just causing
problems for everyone.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
He's making everyone nervous. I love it.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
You're never out of a game if you can pick
up sixty yards in one throw because one guy.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Is that dynamic when it pretty great though to have
ceedee Lamb not be a bitch and like, yeah, go
play well because I was a little worried about the
the thing there, whatever it is they for though, they
were to make sure it didn't happen again. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he was awesome. I mean they had four pass interference.
They lead the league too in pass interference yards the
real because teams are just grabbing.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Pickens and ceedee lamb. They don't what to do.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Yeah, and like now it doesn't even matter who your
third wide receiver is. Okay, it was Turpin's kind of
a waste of time. But now I like, if he
doesn't get on that fumble Thursday, yeah that was huge.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
And because he has so literally hurt himself recovering a fumble,
he barely could get up off the off the mat.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Here's where you start out at defensive and Sam Williams
Marshawn Nelon, Dante Fowler as a rock up, Dono as Rocu,
James Houston. Now you've added today young clowney rocky starts now. Yeah,
Sam Williams has been good now that he has help
and he can just rush the passer and not have
to worry about the run.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Which is part of the thing.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
I still am not sure that they're like some big
run stopping team yet because we haven't seen it, because
no one's tried it yet. Yeah, and maybe they're just going, well,
why wouldn't we just throw at these cornerbacks, Like why
would we even try to run the ball. The linebackers
are completely done, like, no Jack Sandborne anymore, No Demone
Clark anymore. Marysleafal can barely get out there over shown

(10:47):
with Murray and Logan Wilson kind of fighting for the job,
you know, and shot He's like, well, I like them both.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
I would like for one to take well, Okay, Savonne
ravel has been good, dude, that's a huge development. Yes,
Bland is out back. Okay, yep, Trevon Diggs's practicing. I
saw that.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Did you see him basically saying that it sounds like
his issue is with Shody and not the Joneses.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Shot He said that they've had a good talk and
they're good.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
That's what Shoty said. Did you see what dig said?

Speaker 1 (11:20):
No, it was more along the and I'm paraphrasing because
they don't have the article in front of me. He goes, yeah,
you know, I mean he's got his ways of doing things.
And then he said, I have no problem with the
front office. It was so weird the way that he
worded what he said. Shoty was all like, hey, you know,
we're honest with each other and we have an understanding

(11:41):
of one another, and he understands what we're trying.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
To do and then and then Diggs was like.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
His ways of doing things and.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
It was weird.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
We still don't know what happened, No, we don't. Last
thing I want to say real quick is Malik Davis
had a touchdown the other day. Is your backup running back?
I don't know if you saw the video in the
locker room after the game, Yeah, they do the thing.
Oh I saw Shody, but I didn't see Lak Davis
had a touchdown and the whole like the whole team
starts freaking out. And then after that, I've never seen
Brian Schottenheimer do this before, and it made me think

(12:10):
that Jade and Blue is kind of being He's being
sub tweeted here, okay, because Shottenheimer goes and then he
had a special teams tackle and the whole crowd goes,
ah from Elik Davis the back of running back, uh huh,
and everyone's freaking out about it, and I'm like, that's.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
A shot at Jayden Blue. He did that for a reason,
to let Jayden Blue, you're supposed to contribute on special.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Teams gonna like, I don't even know what the point
we talked about him starting before the season right, shout
out to stretch all a big reminder to not have
September takes in football. Just watch the games and let
them happen. Yeah, no one knows what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
And especially in a league where I mean, dude, there's
one or two teams that you know are terrible, and
there's one or two teams you're like, all right, they're
gonna be really good. Everyone else is an injury away
from each other. Sure it really is? Or trade or trade?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
All right?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Nights been in Skin Show ninety one point one Eagle
KT Explain to me what's happening next?

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Name that headliner. Those are the rules next
