to wait, try to draw the Eagles off sides, which

thing that can happen is you rush a play and
the two minute warning happens, and then you lose in
both of those scenarios right there. But they had time
to go draw something up there, and Turpin was underneath

and it looked like he was kind of covered by
the linebacker. Boy, they Turpin ran a marathon last night.
He had that motion is incredible. Yeah, and then ceedee lamb,
you know, drops the tough one right there and the
other throat. I don't know. Look, it's it's tough to
be mad at CD because he's awesome, But geez, you
know what.

I'll put it to you like this, and I was
saying this earlier, and I don't know if you guys
had thought about this or not. I'm not mad at
CD or whatever. I'm like, oh, we lost this game
because of CD, lamb. But you there are different expectations
for the best of the best, and we all agree
he's one of the best of the best at that position.
It's why he's paid that much. None of us have
a problem with his contract. And it might be different

if it was a different game, but it's to start
the season.

Yeah, man, I'm glad the AI nub era is here, right,
But you know, he gets paid a lot of money, man,
he's got to come up with those plays, and yeah,
your whole payroll is based on him and Dak making
all that money.

So I did think two series in the preseason and
the final game does that get you up to speed?

So if you look at the throw to Ferguson that
was short to me, you could look at that and
say that was a little rusty. Maybe you look at
this throw to CD, the last one that was a
little long that they're still called it a drop, but
maybe but maybe CD needed a little bit, Maybe there
was a little russ because they maybe is hard. They
don't and they don't play in the preseason, so is

there something to that.

Maybe maybe that's why every first game that every NFL
team play should be against.

Okay, you know what I thought during that time, I
thought about you two guys. I wasn't thinking about that
getting hurt. I was like, what are Katie and Ben
thinking right now because they are probably thinking this is
the end. But dude, again, if you go back to
the Jalen Carter spinning thing, he's so calm and Dak
is so relaxed, and he's smiling at the most vicious

player on their team, just like what's up, bro, Like fearlessly, and.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
He composed him.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
He was composed like that the entire night, and he
played really really well. Had CD not dropped those four passes,
he would have had a huge night.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
They would have won the game.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
You know what else I thought about, too, is when
he made the tackle after the fumble.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
I was sitting.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
We had this conversation yesterday and I was like, I
have confidence and he's not going to get hurt this
year because he's a veteran. He knows the league inside out.
He knows what to do and what not to do.
Kind of what Ben is just laying out there. And
then as I watched him die for that tack, I
was like, oh, yeah, I forgot about the freak play.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
He's definitely gonna get hurt this year.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
He got to do that.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
It was twenty four to twenty. The Cowboys had yet
to stop the Eagles at this point in the game,
and the Cowboys had just punted for the first time too.
I know, the Cow's just punned for the first time. Yeah,
and DA's on the sideline just kind of smiling and
vibing on his own and it was very weird. I
mean it almost looked like a movie kind of. And
I was kind of like, Okay, he's kind of acting
(11:50):
a little crazy right now, because usually he's just calm
and he looks over and I mean there's a whole
meme of him being very indifferent about what's happening. Yeah,
but I thought that that was kind of strange, And look,
I could help but take it back to Micah a
little bit. Has nothing to do with anything that happened
last night. But I think we all know Dak was
pretty okay with that. Trade loves Micah, but they've kind
(12:14):
of outed him when they said the leadership council was
okay with it, yea, even though we've never heard them
once talk about a leadership council, Well, Dak would be
on it.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
What about the Micah comments here in the last twenty
four hours where he's seen him, He's like, oh, I've
never played with this many good defensive tackles that can
actually get up the field. And you know, it's amazing
being on a team where everybody actually likes to be
in the locker room together and be together and football
is the priority here. It's amazing. And it's like, isn't
that ironic? That's corny, Like you're all everyone's criticism of

you was that football is not the most important thing.
You're doing all these podcasts, all these other things. Now
he's act like, Wow, now I'm in green Baver where
it really values football.
