I saw this this morning and I didn't even know

And I don't know if they're all around the country
or whatever, but it always shocked me. Like I so
back in nineteen ninety nine, two thousand, it was my
first job out of college and I worked down there
in the West End, and that's where Dick's was, I believe, right,
talk about the House of Blues, Yeah, Hooters, and so

I think I went there once over that time, but
in the ideas that the waiters are sassy and they
talk trash and insult you, right, Yeah, they come up
to you and basically say that your facts aren't fun
other than disses.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
And they like put that that hat on you. They
write some insult and then you have to wear the
hat for the rest of the night. I went once
in high school, and I was like, I'm good. I
don't need someone insult me to my face.

I think I don't get the appeal. But I also
never went there, and there's probably plenty of people who
have because it open your nineteen eighty five and it
is one of those places that you've always known about
or heard of. Someone's always talked about it, you know,
maybe not recently, but I remember just you know, when
I moved here in twenty ten, moved to Dallas from
Denton in twenty ten. That big leaf. Yeah, it's just

But you do always see it when you're driving downtown.

I'm adding I was just saying if they had any
un T gear.

No, I was looking for like maybe a new un
T hat or shirt or something. Tomorrow night, we're a
big playing game. You beat TU Lane, You're in the
college football playoffs, so just trying to get amped.

Don't you think you have enough UNT merch?
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I do? I actually do, yes, But like there's a
lot of people trash talking. I'm saying they don't deserve
to get in, or they're a lot better than Texas.
And I was like, okay, mofos, let me just tell you. You
don't know, you haven't lived it, you don't deserve to
have an opinion on this.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
They're not better than Texas though, No, they're absolutely not.
If Texas a un T played right now, Texas would
win by fifty.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Do you know any people didn't go to Texas and
fake like they're like really hardcore Texas fans. I'm not
saying you have to go to the school that you
pull forward. Trust me, I'm a fake Texas tech fan, right,
But like when Christina and I went to college, they
won like six games over a span of five years,
like we dealt with the Low's. I did do effing
pregame shows for that team winning like a game of year.
So I think I deserve this.

Okay, you deserve this more than Texas fans deserve to
be on this. But don't you think by Texas. And
I'm not trying to be able to college football talk. Guy,
I think you are well. It is fascinating to me.
I'm not super. When I went to UNT I was
an old man, and so I was already like I
looked like a police officer. I looked like a narc
in the classroom, like like al Bundy, and so I
didn't really have a great college experience. I was trying

to get out of school as quickly as I could.
But I love people talking about college football because they're
so passionate about it and there's so many things to
talk about. But isn't the penalty here for Texas that
look quit scheduling difficult non conference games. Just have the
easiest cakewalk schedule you can. That's your best chance.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I would say the penalty is there's a lot of
good teams now and when they Austin Florida that that
was a problem, and they played really bad to Kentucky
and Mississippi State who weren't good. I think it's better
if Texas is in. But you know, is it gonna
get why they're not? Like I think it's it's a
little now as Texas text should get in over Notre Dame.

Notre Dame we talked about more than them.

They don't have a conference, they're not even so uh
but it's tough. But here we are, this this lightning
in a bottle year for U and T and their
coach is gonna get plucked. Right, he's got quarterbacks, gonna
get plucked like all everything that's good that they have
is gonna get plucked away.

So well, the twenty four year old GM is there
and he's gonna keep making moves. We've already hired a
new coach. We're already is it is it Jason Garrett? No,
it's the old coach from West Virginia.

We're fine, we're stabilizing these this new environment, these unchartered waters. Yeah,
