Oh yes, Hello and welcome everybody. This is the world
famous Bin and Skin Show coming to you live today
from Frisco, Texas at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. We
(00:53):
are at the lounge by Top Golf right now ready
to do a live broadcast. This is the center of
the golf universe today and we're dope to be here.
This is going to be a very, very fun show.
We're here courtesy of our friends at Rollertown Beer Works
and Rollertown Beer Works with Jury that we're partners in
is one of our advertisers as well, and they've got
us out here today, so we are we are here
(01:14):
with our friends from Rollertown representing the Benning Skin Show
at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship and skin. If you're
a fan of golf, if you're a fan of Texas, boy,
this is where it's all going down today and all weekend. Yeah,
this is They do it right out here. And we've
been out here doing shows before and I did come
out here last year. Rollertown had some involvement with the
(01:36):
senior tournament, but this is a whole other level, and
Rollertown is involved on the sponsorship level. And if you're
coming out this weekend, we're out behind whole number nine
right so right when you hit the turn, Rollertown is
out there, and of course we'll have beer and goodies
and all that stuff. And so if you have any
plans to be out here at all during this huge
(01:56):
tournament this weekend, by all means go over there and
see us. And anytime you come out here, you need
to come to the Lounge by Top Golf. I love
this place. They regularly carry roller Town beer Works as
well as our friends the ice House right over there.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
If you just look right over your left shoulder, you
see them.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
But this is such a cool place it is a resort,
it is PGA headquarters. It is family and fan and
resident friendly. It's a cool place to just come hang out.
And when they have a huge event like this, there's
no place better. And I know for a guy like KT,
who spends a lot of time figuring out who he's
(02:37):
gonna wager on in a big tournament, you're happy to
be here as well. I am absolutely stoked.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
And I've killed many hours on weekends by just saying,
you know what, I don't have anything to do today.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
I think I'm just trying to go put on the.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Big pudding green the ice house, now a drake, or
come here to the lounge with top golf. I thank
that plenty of times, and I encourage everyone to do that.
But this is huge, a major here, absolutely in our.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Backyard, the major happening here.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Christina, how you we got Look sometimes we're on remote
and Christina is back at the studio, but we got
her in person today. Christina Kray, Cornbread Ray. She's the
pride and look at show. Best thing we have to
offer golfer.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
Christina is Yeah, when I heard golf was involved in like,
I gotta be there no matter what.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
Sorry, I've been here multiple times.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Actually, I saw you set your clubs down out there.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, so we're trying to qualify last year.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
I gotta squeeze in the back nine after a show guest.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
So at Omnipga Resort and Spa. That's what you need
to go. Look up, you need to go follow them
on the socials.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
But we're gonna be letting you know, like this is
a major happening in Dallas Fort Worth and there are
tickets available. Go to KPMG Women's PGA Championship dot com.
Kids fifteen hunder get in for free with a ticketed adult,
and one adult can bring up to four kids. And so,
you know, if you're looking for something fun to do
for the family, I mean, this is gonna be spectacular
(03:55):
golf happening. The course is beautiful. I don't know, like
we've lived here our whole life, skin, I don't know
how they managed to find topography, like there's rolling hills
here somehow, Like it's beautiful. Yeah, they got well, they
got a bunch of big dudes and they start pushing
mountains around, created mountains by the way of the one
hundred top Women's golfers in the world. How many do
(04:17):
you think of from that field are here today? Because
I would say if you could get about seventy of them,
that would be a big deal. But there's one hundred
of them. There's one hundred people in this how many
of them are the hundred top golfers in the world
do you think?
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Okay, does my girl Nancy Lopez still qualify and top
one hundred of old time?
Speaker 3 (04:34):
No? No, not old time? Right. Now, here's what I'll say.
I'll just let me redo it all. What I'll do
is just say, of the top one hundred current female
golfers in the world, one hundred of one hundred are
here in this tournament. I'll take one hundred, you got it.
(04:54):
I'm gonna set the over under it ninety nine and
a half of a lady. And now you're saying that
you take the over.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
I can't tell you that my favorite LPGA golfer minng
Lee is uh second place today? Is that right? The
sister of Min Woo YEPGA tour right like a lot
as well.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yeah, it's a big day. This is a big day
for you and your rooting interest. So she got in
at three Hunderd. So wow. Oh so she's done for
the day. Yeah, okay, fantastic. The other part of all
of this, you know, we're talking about the golf and
this area where we're at where lounge my top golf
is obviously, like there's retail and all this stuff, and
you great dining and you can just come and go.
(05:31):
But I have yet to stay overnight at the resort,
but I have friends who have done it. I'm looking
over your shoulder, Ben, and I see our buddy Ran
and she's like, what are you doing? How come we
haven't done it yet? And it's the feedback is tremendous.
I haven't like staycation spectacular. I haven't stayed at the
resort yet either, and I need to. I have been
(05:53):
a trick rider. Oh I haven't trained yet. Trick Rider
is one of the greatest restaurants I've ever been to.
And I thought that was a rapper from Flora. It's
out here, that's little trick writer, okay, And it's uh,
it's this beautiful restaurant here and there's this chandelier hanging
down from the ceiling and it's just a piece of
art and it just makes out to be a giant
Mustang and it's right over the bar and it's like
you walk in, it's got that wow you know, it's
(06:15):
got that wow wow wow factor. But it's incredible. Maybe
the best restaurant I've ever been to. Yeah, I've heard
it is spectacular. And so if you're going to do
the resort and do all that, and uh, obviously you're
not going to get on the course this weekend.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Friends, there's a major going on out there.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
But you can do the whole thing where you get
a resort package, get to play the course. My buddy,
our buddy Adam has done that before and he's like, man,
it's it. It's impossible to beat. Yeah, and it's right
here in town.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
I mean I played the par three course, uh a
few years ago, a couple of years ago because y'all
were doing your show here.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Yeah, I played. So I played the West course because
I was in that Rollertown was a sponsor in the
senior pro am and uh so I played it.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
And the East is harder, but it is it is
just badass.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
You know. The other thing too, is we you know,
we've talked about this before. Where people go to travel,
they go to beaches or mountains like, well we don't
have that. Well, then people are People go to resorts,
and this is ultimately what this is. It's a spa,
it's a resort, and it's partnered with PGA headquarters and
that that's why it comes together to be such a
magical place.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Yeah, and it's pretty well organized.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
So if you're looking for some fun to do with
your family, like you get out here, you find parking
pretty easily.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
They can get you in a shuttle and get you
over here pretty quickly.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, this weekend for sure, This weekend,
it's yeah, this weekend is is man. This is the
time you haven't been out here to check it out. Boy,
now is the time to do that. So, dude, you
might get on TV. I mean the golf channels on
in the background.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yes, I think they.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Switch over to coverage of today's turn it back to
it at five o'clock.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Okay, so absolutely fantasic.
Speaker 7 (07:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
The twenty twenty seven PGA Championship is here too. Yeah
oh wow, yeah, okay, pretty about that magic law.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
That's going to be fantastic. Yeah. So we're stoked, man,
We're our absolute he stoked to be here. Stop by
Lounge by Top Golf to come see us, say hi
to Mia, me as running the show, up the show.
It's our people. It's one of those persons that knows everybody.
So you like, you start talking to her and then
suddenly you realize, oh my god, she knows about everybody
(08:17):
I know. I mean, she's a networker. She knows everybody
in the damn metroplaque. Yeah, and and look again, we're
out here because of Rollertown. Rollertown is who has us
out here, And there is something special going on at
the bar with regard to the big German today on
his birthday?
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Is that what's in my glass? That's what you're in
your glass right there, the big German.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
But if you step up to the bar here at
the at the Lounge by Top Golf at the Omnipga Frisco,
you will see something special there behind the bar. So
that's a kind of special day to stop up. I mean,
I'm telling people what it is. You're telling anyone. So
we're not saying what it is, we're not sharing pictures
or anything. We're we're keeping it on the low. But
(08:57):
it's a little preview of what's to come throughout the
Metroplex and the only place you can see it in
the world, because there's only one in existence, and right
now it's in the bar here at Lounge by Top
Golf at the Omnipga and actually the Omnipg eight resortan Spa. Yeah, Okay,
let's do this. We have a special guest that's getting
ready to join us, So let's play a tune. Let's
talk about our friends at prosper and coming up next
(09:18):
a very special guest to speak a little bit more
eloquently about all this. It's the beIN in skinshow on
ninety some point one The Eagle, The Ben and Skin
Show ninety some point one The Eagle, and we are
on the road at Lounge by Top Golf out here
at the Omnipga Frisco Headquarters. I mean, it is so
great out here, and you know, Ben, we're gonna be
(09:39):
doing the show out here. Roller Town has this out
here because they're a big sponsor of the tournament, and
it just so happens that a person that's involved in
the tournament is also a person that our paths have
crossed with many times. She's a good friend of ours.
Now she's here in the role of general chair, but
she's more than that. She's friends of the Ben and
Skin Show. It's our good friend and Ashley Miller. Hello, Ashley, you.
Speaker 7 (10:02):
Guys what an intro man. You're making me feel like
a million bucks. We're practically related at this point.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
We are.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
We're brothers and sisters in arms.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
It's amazing. How you doing today? So good?
Speaker 7 (10:12):
I mean, look, it's hot out there, but it's a
water inclusive tournament. Make sure we push that water inclusive
in tournament. But it's incredible, Like we've like, the showing
has been great. When they open the ropes today, you guys,
like the amount of people coming through the gates blew
my mind, not because I didn't expect it, but it
was just really cool to see.
Speaker 8 (10:31):
I'm like a proud mom.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (10:32):
And the way it's like the community.
Speaker 7 (10:34):
I don't know if you guys saw we sold like
under four thousand hotel rooms before this even started for
people that were traveling in.
Speaker 8 (10:41):
I didn't know that the economic impact is huge.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
That's wild. And if you're listening to this and you're like, Okay,
that sounds like fun, I'm sold. Go to KPMG WOMEN'SPGA
Championship dot Com. You get tickets. Kids under fifteen are
free with a ticket to adult, and one adult can
bring four kidos here. And so you say it's a
water supported is that what does that mean exactly?
Speaker 8 (11:01):
I mean this was something we did for the Kitchen
Aid Senior.
Speaker 7 (11:04):
This is Texas right, Like we were actually in Sahali
and Seattle last year for this exact same major and
the guy that was in my role, he was like, look,
if I could give you one piece of advice, it
would be showcase the trees and the shade. And I
was like, have you ever been to Frisco, Texas? It's
like not really what you're going to be getting from
our aerial shots. So we just wanted to come up
(11:25):
with a creative way to be innovative and like, how
do we get people out here and not let them
be intimidated. It's not the people that are local we
expect it. This is like not even a hot day,
like we're so used to this. But water inclusive, meaning
when you walk through the gates everywhere you go, they're
going to be pushing free.
Speaker 6 (11:41):
Water on you.
Speaker 7 (11:43):
You're not paying eight bucks for a bottle of water.
When you come to the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Also
cooling stations. We knew that had to be a part
of the experience, so just tons of opportunities to stay cool.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
While you're out here.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Water is a big part of beer, so I have beer,
so I figure that the water is included in that,
so I feel good about my.
Speaker 8 (12:00):
I'm just saying the Rollertown tent is popping ocase.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
We need to talk about Rollertown with you because one
of the many ways that we've connected is that you're
one of the leaders of the National Breast Cancer Foundation,
which is based in Frisco, and we have done stuff
together with you Rollertown Beer Works. Well, we're going to
be doing something right here incredible in October because we're
going to do the Rollertown Open here at PGA Frisco
(12:28):
to benefit the National Breast Cancer Founding.
Speaker 8 (12:30):
I can't even believe it's real life.
Speaker 7 (12:31):
Like the fact that you guys thought about NBCF and
that capacity is huge. Think about how much fun it's
going to be to come out here, to have to
play golf all day and the difference that we're going
to make for women and families from coast to coast
it's going to be huge, Like, we're so freaking honored,
it's going to be a great event.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
All right, again, we're out at Omnipga Frisco. The KPMG
Women's PGA Championship is happening again. Go to KPMG WOMEN'SPGA
Championship dot com to get tickets to come join us.
But we were told that out of the top one
hundred female golfers in the field, one hundred of one
hundred are here playing in this.
Speaker 7 (13:06):
Can you imagine being like the fifty or so that's
like not in that. They're like one hundred of the
top one hundred are out here and you're like, yeah,
I'm one seventy five. But I think it's insane, Like,
think about the field that's out here, all the former champions.
I don't think people understand the access to the players.
I think that's what Frisco can offer that nobody else
can offer. You come out here, you can be on
(13:26):
the dance floor having fun with your family for five bucks,
pick up a club. It's access to the sport. We're
growing the game for the next generation. You guys know,
my kids are seven and five. My daughter did not
want to be Spider Man until she saw Spider Man.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Right, guess what She's out.
Speaker 7 (13:42):
Here Thursday through Sunday. She sees freaking Nelly Korda, and
she wants to be Nelly Korda. Like, it's a really
cool opportunity because at PGA Frisco, it's not just talking
about it. You have the opportunity to be about it.
You can go to the dance floor, you can put
forty five holes for five bucks.
Speaker 8 (13:58):
You can go over to the run, you can.
Speaker 7 (14:00):
Ship, you can put But the access to the sport
is what's so important because then if you're an adult
and you take it seriously and you're like, you know what,
maybe I could do this. I see the business behind
the sport. I see the access to the sport. Then
go to the T Mobile coaching Center and pick up
the sport. I mean, I just think it's incredible. People
don't realize that you're standing inches away from these giants
of the game. These are the top female golfers in
(14:22):
the world. Twenty six countries represented here this week.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
I don't really and I don't think you know, people
fully understand, Like there's a lot of people that have
probably been out to the buyern Nelsoner. Maybe they've been
out to the Colonial and those are great tournaments. I'm
not saying anything negative about those tournaments, but they don't
have the let's just say, infrastructure that this facility has
to make this a world class event.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Absolutely world class event.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
That's happening exactly.
Speaker 7 (14:50):
You're also you're parking close. That's not an obstacle to you.
Thirty five bucks for grounds tickets. Where in the world
do you get that poor kids per ticket, military personnel.
But then you come in you have the District Saturday night,
We've got Grace Tyler on the stuff.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
He's been on our show before.
Speaker 7 (15:08):
Absolute we got the one and only Grace. I mean,
it's gonna be huge, Like that's a free concert for people.
I don't think a lot of people realize that she's
gonna have an opener that day. And then when she's done,
three hundred drones in the sky. Wow, Omnia stepped up
in a really big way to make it really cool.
I mean, when you go to these majors, there's not
always an opportunity to stay. We want people, of course
(15:30):
to come all day Saturday, but then stay make yourself
at home in the district let's drink some good beer. Yes,
make memories, you know, And I mean, come on, Grace
talk You kidding me. She's about to go on tire
with with Lee Brice. She'll know that, right, Yes, just
wrapped with Shane Smith and the Saints. Yeah, she's squeezing
us in and then she's on tour with Lee Brice.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Okay, Ashley, Before we let you go, we want you
to tell our listeners more about the National Brass Cancer Foundation. Again,
you're here general chair of this and that's why we're
having you on. But that is your baby, and so
tell everybody more about what that is and how they
can get involved.
Speaker 7 (16:01):
Look, it made it the perfect yes to say, General
Chair made a lot of sense for me because you're
advocating for women in sports. We advocate for women on
a daily basis at Natural Breast Cancer Foundation, founded in
nineteen ninety one, headquartered in Frisco, Texas. We're different because
we're helping women and families in the moment. A lot
of people are out to find the cure. That's so important.
Speaker 8 (16:22):
I can point you in that.
Speaker 7 (16:23):
Direction if that's something that you're passionate about. But National
Breast Cancer Foundation has programs and services to help every
step of the way. We're very passionate that we're advocating
not only the female but her family as well. We're
there to remove the barriers to care and it said
no questions asked programs.
Speaker 8 (16:38):
And services for those women. So NBCF dot org.
Speaker 7 (16:41):
If you're passionate about helping women, maybe coming out to
the Roller Channel open in October be a part of
what we're doing to change the world.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
It's going to be huge, awesome. Well, anything you're involved with,
we're in one hundred percent. We believe in you. This
whole community believes in you. An honor to have you
on the show. Thank you for taking the time. I
love you, guys, Thanks love you. Actually, there she goes
a Miller's proud. Oh my god, it's unbelievable. People are
out of control. They love her all right. Coming up next,
We've got the show started. Coming up next in Food News,
(17:10):
which restaurants are making their customers the happiest that's next.
Just saw this from slightly Biased. By the way, Slightly
Biased one of my favorite people to cover maps basketball boy,
he's he heard he hurt himself. He broke his ankle
and tore some ligaments and he lives on the what
like the fourth floor of an apartment complex. Oh and uh, yeah,
he was supposed to go to Europe. He does this
(17:32):
funny thing where he goes to Europe and he goes
there for like a month and he stops following everything.
So just to do the bit of to come back
to town and have someone tell him everything that happened.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Which is a great bed that has a great bit,
agency starts.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Oh wow, yeah, and so he had to cancel his
trip to Europe and he's he's now on the fourth
floor of that apartment complex with his leg propped up,
and uh, we're sending him the very best. But post
this game seven on the road, San Antonio spurs Dirk
thirty seven points and fifteen rebounds. He says there will
never be another Dirk and I just see any Dirk
(18:09):
on my timeline. It makes me happy. So shout out
to the big German. We'll get into that in the
today game. We are broadcasting at Lounge by Top Golf
at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Frisco thanks to Rollertown,
and right now start for this.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
Time.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
There's just the thing that comes out over here.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
It's the American customer satisfaction indecks, and the satisfaction in
restaurants has not gone up for any of the restaurants
because of inflation.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Oh yeah, I think it's costs war So people are like,
why is it to damn expensive?
Speaker 4 (18:47):
Like, I'm just way less satisfied with my restaurant experience
because it cost war. Right, But it's fine if I
still have the stats on it, Like who's still winning?
Speaker 3 (18:56):
I still know that. Now you're a champion in the
year of twenty two twenty four here locally? No, no,
do the nation these So these are chain restaurants. Hell, yeah,
you're champion. Oh yeah, they might not even be here,
look like they might be hard ease. But how many
hardies locally? Any think they changed to Carl Carl Bottom Bottom?
(19:22):
Last year's winter was the Texas Roadhouse. Oh they do
really well. Manyeah, they do really well. And let me
just say they are here. They are here.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Oh, they're very much in Texas.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
It'd be weird if they weren't.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Yeah, let me just go and tell you their roles
and that butter that comes with that, whatever's in that.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
I would like to butter your role night breaker. But
my gou yep, well.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
They were your champions from last year. Now there's some
there's some places on here you wouldn't expect. But if
the customers are.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Going there and they're satisfied, they hit the index, they
make the chart.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
First cafeteria didn't quite make it.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
Damn do we sell the first cufeterias?
Speaker 3 (19:59):
I'm never seen around. I don't know anything anymore.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
Okay, apple Bee's Katie.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Oh actually wildly.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Top four water four right there, Sirius Christina, you're good
at this is not that.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
One of the few.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
Places where the satisfaction went up was Applebee's. You know,
whymplation ain't gonna affect Applebee's.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Our dollar drink became a two dollars drink.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Oh yeah, I was gonna say a happy hour bro Chili's.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Six seven eight for chili. Let's go thank for them.
What about uh Schlatsky's.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
No Bennigans, No oh cho cheese Chokes not a real
place in the metroplex, right TGI Fridays Chick fil A?
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Uh friends none though, Yeah, this is all this appears
to be about.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Casual sit down.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
No, yeah, Nick and Sam's no, how many of those.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Are there one Bob's Steak and chopped number one again
for the second year of road text road you know
who's chasing on it. I think there might be something
to this marketing strategy.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Give us a hint.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
This kind of sounds like Texas Roadhouse, Lex's Full, Texas Lakehouse,
Longhorn Steakhouse.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yeah, that's fantastic. You can just kind of make yourself
have a Texas theme and you do some steaks. They
get you the tools to eat your own steak. All right,
Olive Garden three, yet you've been to Olive Gardener? Would
you like to meet me later for a never ending
salad bowl?
Speaker 6 (21:37):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (21:38):
And breadstall. That's my nightmare and never ending salad stop.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
I'll never forget that movie.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Man.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
They got up on top of that.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Dog and start flying around the leafy greens appear to
be reproducing like those hammerhead worms. And I'll quickly say
Applebee's cracker barrel, out back, red lobster, chili's eyehow red Robin,
She's factory buffalo.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
All Denny's answer, He did quickly say that.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
He quickly said all that. Coming up next, let's do
a little Cowboys kerosene, shall we who are the most
popular cowboys in the league.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
We have a measure of that.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
That's next right here on the Ben and Skin Show,
The Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point one The Eagle.
You know, one of the things we like to do
is we like to give away tickets to cool stuff
and we do it utilizing the free iHeart App.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
So what I'm gonna do is I have not yet
said where we are right now.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
That's what I'm going to use for you to win
these tickets to go see Pantera. They're coming to Dosakis.
The first person that leaves a talkback message on the
iHeart app with your name, your phone number, your email
address and can tell us where we are broadcasting from today.
We've talked about it many times in the first three segments.
(22:53):
That's proof that you've been listening. You are going to
win those Pantera tickets, and I know that you want
to win them, So good luck every body. All right,
coming up at the top of the hour, I've got
some barbecue advice for you guys, but right now it's
time for this.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
You're a warw wars.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Thank you Travis rder Now and bluck Chain com as well.
I'm logging on right now? Can you say, y'all want something? Yeah,
y'all want some? Thanks, we get Travis a little voice
over work.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
The months would be March twenty twenty four through February
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
You with me? Okay?
Speaker 4 (23:31):
So a year about so basically the entire NFL season
of last year would fall under this. Yep. How many
Dallas Cowboys do you think are on the top fifty
in terms of NFL PA retail sales?
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Three? Three? I bet we're thinking the same three guys.
First of all, you're thinking Dak Dak, and then you're
thinking about their two best players, Mike and CD. Oh
I was thinking CD and Deran Bland. Ye who would
be the fourth? That there were four? Hold on it's
last year, zekeel, Oh my god? Were there are a
(24:07):
bunch of Were there a bunch of Throwbackel? Yours ever? Number?
Speaker 6 (24:11):
Brand?
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Aubrey's not bad coming the household name. Okay. It's not
going to be a receiver. It's not gonna be a
running back. It's not gonna be an offensive one. Maybe
Zach Martin. I doubt it. It's probably a defensive player.
Could be Could it have been Diggs? Could have been.
I think that's a fair name. But he didn't play
most of the year, if not all the year, right,
(24:33):
how much do you miss of last year? He had
towards the end about half, but he was not good either.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
I think if overshown when I got hurt, I think
that name we're talking about a lot more, right. Uh, okay,
you're you guys were right? Actually three, it was number three. Now,
how high do you think Dak would be on that list?
Speaker 3 (24:50):
He didn't play most of the year, or I da
amstring fell off his whole body.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
I think Dak was eighth in the league.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
U No, for the whole year. He didn't play most
of the year, So I would say Dak was thirty
eighth in the thirty A little lower than thirty eight,
but good, And by lower I mean kosher to one.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Oh, okay, little better.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Let's do like twenty four though, we'll higher. Oh we're
doing that, okay, thirty are higher?
Speaker 2 (25:16):
What'd you say?
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Thirty? Oh? Thirty three? There it is, Yeah, I knew it.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Thirty third on the places above him at thirty two.
New England Patriots quarterback Drake May but Good, one slot
ahead of Jamar Chase and Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Where was Milton? Okay?
Speaker 4 (25:34):
That's the thing is Milton probably thinks he's supposed to
be on the top of Okay, but I.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Would say CD and Micah were both top ten. Uh
Micah was top ten, number nine, sir, Not I guessing? Now?
I guess CD yep eighteen lower, ooh twelve higher, fifteen higher, seventeen.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
There it is well done, hell just one spot ahead
of Lamar Jackson. I had Lamar Jackson eighteen.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Uh t J Watt.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Sixteen who should have been a cowboy as well, could
have had him. But you know, are they still selling
JJ Watt jerseys?
Speaker 3 (26:12):
I don't think so. Yeah, I don't think they are.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Do they have a cardinal JJ Watt jurdy and play
for the card for a year?
Speaker 3 (26:19):
Oddly? I have a Witten Raiders jersey.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
I wear out see them Att Smith Cardinals jersey. Yeah,
those are good jerseys to have when when the guys
just trying to hang on and have to go somewhere
else for a year.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Isn't that like a hole?
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Roy White bit?
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Maybe? Yeah? That you had to cost him? About it?
A fantasy draft number one? Who do you think? Oh
that Tom Brady? I can tell you. This guy is
also the cover of Madden Cooper flag for this year.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
No, if Cooper flag is on the cover of Madden
for this year, our sports leagues are all.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Mahomes of course.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Yeah no, no, he's number two.
Speaker 6 (26:56):
Oh I just saw it.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
H Derrick Henry on offense or defense.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Oh yeah, Now he reinvigorated a whole state and the
running back position and the running back position. Jalen Hurs
was three too. Oh yeah, it's like they were the champions, right. Yeah,
that kind of stinks.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
Good job, but this is our year. We got Shotty.
Thank you Kevin for your contributions not only do the Cowboys,
but also to America and also to the KPMG Women's
PGA Championship, which is going on right now at the
Omnipga Frisco Omnipga Resort and Spa. We're at the lounge
by Top Golf Broadcasting today. Thanks to our friends at
(27:39):
Rollertown Beer Works, a brewer we're investing. They got us
out here. Coming up next, Skin, We're gonna take us
in things. Skin is tracking. What if I were to
give you guys some incredible barbecue advice, would you take it?
Speaker 2 (27:50):
That's next everybody.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
We are broadcasting live from Frisco, Texas. We are at
the Lounge by Top Golf for the KPMG Women's PGA
Championship at the Omnipga Resort in Spa and Frisco. And
this place is paradise and there are still tickets available
again if you want to come see this this weekend.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
It's going on all weekend long. They said it's water friendly.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
What that means is anywhere you go out here, they're
going to be pushing free ice cold water on you now,
pouring it on you, handing it to you, or you
might end up on a water slide. The KPMG WOMEN'SPGA
Championship dot Com KPMG WOMEN'SPGA Championship dot com is where
you get tickets. Kids fifteen and under are free with
a ticket at adult and one ticket at adult can
(28:33):
get four codos in for free. So, man, if you
love golfne this place is paradise period. It just looks
beautiful out here. But if you love golf in your NDFW, man,
take the time to come out here and have a
blast this weekend.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
It's really special.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Yeah, And I swear I had a blast at the
Byron Nelson. I'm not saying this to disparage any other tournament,
but just the facilities is way different than if you've
ever been to a golf tournament. They're great.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
This this is way different. You're coming to a resort.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
There's tons of space, there's tons of amenities, there's tons
of food and drink options. It's awesome. So don't if
you've ever been to a golf tournament. It's really unlike
any that you've ever been to, just because of what
they have here. This is the PGA headquarters and it's amazing. Right,
It's hard to believe it's in Dallas Fort Worth and
so great. Is in Frisco, Texas? So great? All right,
(29:24):
coming up in just a matter of minutes, we'll go
around the sports. Does Mark Cuban have tremendous regret? We'll
discuss that, but right now it's time for this track,
another edition of things, Skin is Traffic.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
What look did you just have on your face?
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Kevin? A cow? At the end of that, I believe
it is. I really enjoyed this article I saw in
the Dallas Morning News from our friend Sarah Over there.
There's a guy in Garland named Greg Art Coop. Now,
first of all, that's a bad name. Art Cop sounds
(30:03):
like a failed TV show on ABC in the nineties.
They can, but they're usually not pretty good at drawing
the criminal.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
What did Christina just get? Oh look at that?
Speaker 3 (30:14):
Holy cow? What are you doing?
Speaker 6 (30:16):
A delicious cubano?
Speaker 5 (30:17):
If you had a cubano here, because they're a moved
I don't eat pork, but thank you. Oh you're right,
I'm sorry, but those French fries look great.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (30:23):
That's a fry.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
That's an exciting sandwich. That's a high level excitement sandwich
for you, and you typically have just peanut butter. Yeah,
just peanut butter. I'm so happy for you. You're kind
of coming into your own here, going all out here,
she said, would you guys mind not cooking the bread
and then also like not having any condiments on it?
What's anyway? It's so Greg the art Cop is a
(30:46):
Garland man, and he took it upon himself. He saw
the back in twenty seventeen. He saw the Texas Monthly
Best Barbecue list and he's like, what if I went
to every single barbecue joint on this list? Always putting
the system on trial. It's almost like, I mean, this
is kind of what retirement is supposed to be, right, Yeah,
(31:08):
hey man, put in all this work. Now I'm gonna
go to fifty barbecue restaurants.
Speaker 6 (31:13):
I want to go out to wait and get all attack.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I want to go do some crap, and I'm gonna
go do some crap.
Speaker 5 (31:19):
So he's.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
He's on a tear now and he's going in on
his third tour of doing every barbecue restaurant in Texas
that's on the list, because this list will change out,
and so they have advice from him about how to barbecue.
And so I wanted to bounce some of the stuff
off you or get you guys to guests and see
(31:43):
what you thought. They asked him what his best barbecue
meal was, and I'll give you a hint.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
You guys have heard of the place. This could be
anywhere in Texas.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
But according to this guy who has been to all
fifty restaurants twice, he's going in on his third tour,
what is the best barbecue meal?
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Goldies? Kevin says Goldies.
Speaker 6 (32:06):
Okay, I'm gonna go Terry Blacks.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Christina says, Terry Blacks.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
I'm gonna say my three favorites Hurtado, Hutchins or Tender.
So one of the things that I need you to
do is I need you to pick one Ben Tender. Guys,
you're all wrong. According to Greg art Cop, he says
Pecan Lodge, okay. He says he learned that their style
of barbecue was equal parts science and art.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
But he probably called it that because he's an art cop.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
And he said about Pecan Lodge, he said, this is
the place that put me on my current path of
barbecue insanity.
Speaker 6 (32:47):
Huh, that's where Tom Cruise stopped, right, So he listens
to art Cop.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah, yeah, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
Can you imagine Christopher McCrory writing a movie for Tom
Cruise called art Cop is amazing? Does sound good? That's
a cop left art school and now he's flying World
War two plane upside down art Cop. The Felon got away.
It's okay, I sketched him real quick, all right. What
(33:12):
is his pro tip for ordering barbecue? He has a
pro tip for ordering barbecue. What do you think it
might be? Order it without the sauce. Sauce on the side.
You can just get the two meat plate. I like that.
Speaker 6 (33:30):
The brisket. Always order the brisket.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Here's what the art cop says. By Ashley, love you more,
love you too. He says, get the turkey. Oh, a
barbecue joint that makes great smoke turkey probably does everything
else well too. That's your signature move it is now.
I didn't do it for the same reason the art cop.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
Did you know so much of barbecue as often pork?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
And I sometimes I'm not in the mood for brisket,
but I always get brisket or turkey. But his point,
which is a great point. We talked about this when
Brandon her Toato brought all that barbecue up. I didn't
even know their turkey was that spectacular. And now I
can't not get the turkey. And he's like, if a
place does, because so much of bird is dry. If
a place is mastered turkey, then they kill everything.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
This is what Thanksgivings are so stressful because the turkey
is so difficult to cook.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
It is it is.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
But I'll say this.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
You said, sometimes you're not in the mood for brisket.
What does that even mean. I'm always in the mood
for brisket. I could you could wake me up in
the middle of I go, hey, waking up. Do you
want some of this brisket? I'd be like, yeah, yeah,
why not? I get it.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
But I've never confused you with an art cop.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
That's fair, you know.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yeah, all right? The best sides, y'all aren't gonna well,
maybe you have.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
Heard of this place, but just see if you can
guess the particular side you're you're probably not going to
know the place. I had never heard of it.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
Oh dang it.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
I mean a lot of people it' see, they're gonna
be mac and cheese or beans. Are you saying? Well,
a place though that has it? Now I want to say,
what do you think the side is? And I'll tell
you the place. The place is called Truth Barbecue in Houston, Okay, Coleslaw,
I mean Hertato.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
Does the elote. I don't know if anyone else does that.
And that's amazing. The briskety lote.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
We've never been to, at least I've never been to
Truth Barbecue and Houston, but they have something called the
Tater Todd Castle role nuts. I think I need.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
That is the best sides.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
Yeah, and what do you think is his most visited
barbecue joint? He lives in DFW, So you guys will
know these the ones he's been to the most. As
a quote unquote, Uh, what do you say? Barbecue and
sanity man, Rudies.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Dickies, we needed all right, you guys all struck out?
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Oh man, is it any of the three I mentioned?
Because those are my three favorite skin I'll give you
a hint.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
The two places he's had have all been mentioned today.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Hutchins, Hutchins and Tender Tender Smokehouse, Terry Blacks, Oh, Terry Box.
So there you go. That is barbecue advice from a
man who will go to all fifty barbecue restaurants on
the Texas Monthly list, and he'll do it for a
third consecutive tour. Hey look at that.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
It's pretty fun, right, pretty fun? Yeah, good stuff. They've
got great barbecue here at ice House.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yes, it's delicious, by the way, Yeah it's it's It
doesn't say barbecue restaurants. There's nothing about ice House that
makes you think they'd have amazing barbecue.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
But it's some of the best BBQ I've ever had.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Yeah, ever, it's so good ice House out here at
the Omnipga Resort and Spa.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
All right.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
Our coverage continues next as we broadcast live from Lounge
by Top Golf.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Coming up in just over three minutes.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
I'm gonna play a song and we're gonna be back
bringing you the sports news. And we got a question.
Does Mark Cuban have tremendous regret? Today we'll discuss next
Ben and Scan show ninety seven point one The Eagle,
and today we are at Lounge by Top Golf out
here at PGA Frisco. It's on the same grounds as
the Omni Resort in Frisco, Omni Resort and Spa, which
(37:07):
is an awesome place to do a staycation. But we
love it out here. We've done shows out here before.
Roller Town beer Works, which is the brewery that Ben
and I are partners in, is a sponsor of the tournament.
They're out there right behind whole number nine if you're
coming out this weekend, And so they decided we should
be here hanging out with our friends at Lounge by
Top Golf. Coming up at the bottom of the hour.
(37:30):
A shocking development in Wildlife News about how you might
die from a beasteam.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
But right now it's time for this.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Now around the sports KG tweets as.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
All the sports Yes I do, I'd like to say
this hot off the press as the Rangers lost again,
so mighty after a big sweep, they get swept, they
get back to five hundred, and then they lose three
in a row.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Was it the offense four to one loss?
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Yeah, no offense. I'm gonna I'm gonna bring him back.
I'm gonna save the season. I'm gonna head out to
Pittsburgh tomorrow morning and bring us back. Oh good, you
know victories. You you actually were a notable third basement
on that only JV baseball team in the early two thousands.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
I'm starting to think that I could make a little contact,
which is better than a lot of guys.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
That's fair for us. So yeah, there's that.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
The We learned last night that the Lakers sold for
ten billion dollars. Impressive, So good for Jay Moore, the
husband of Jeanie Buss, who sold the team to the
guy who owns the Dodgers or most of the Dodgers.
For ten billion, it could get valued up to twelve billion.
Lucas commented with a you know, let's go type of
quote I don't really have in front of me, but
(38:47):
you know where it goes. It's a great organization. You
know that type of stuff. Yeah, so twelve billion, what
are the ten billion?
Speaker 3 (38:53):
What are the MAVs so for? I think Cuban got
three out of that deal. So he sold like seven
percent of it? Uh yeah, seventy three? Yeah, so he
sold seventy three percent of it for three something about
five billion? Is that what he got out of it?
Speaker 2 (39:09):
No, they're not going to be as much as the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
They're not. The Lakers are right up there with the
Dallas Cowboys, you know, and one of the most in
the Yankees.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
And that that brings up the question, Ben if the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Now, keep in mind, before the Lakers sold for ten billion,
the biggest sale was a couple of months ago the
Celtics for six point one.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Billion, right, and that's a huge market.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
So if the Cowboy I'm sorry, if the Lakers are
ten billion, I think the Cowboys could easily sell for
twenty billion. Oh easy, okay, So what is seventy percent
of six billion?
Speaker 2 (39:43):
So well, six.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Hundred time seven would be four point two billion, Okay,
So he may be sold. I'm just trying to get
a fair evaluation for Cuban and that Boston set, the
you know, the reset, the market after that, So he
sold seventy percent of the team roughly, and and that's
all he got.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
That's saying that's all he got. Did you see what
Forbes said about this?
Speaker 3 (40:06):
What they say because of the way that Cuban did
the deal, Now this is going to uh, this is
going to make you have a negative flashback because of
the way the Mavericks did the deal and not put
it out to the open market to the highest bidder.
Cuban probably cost himself some money. Did they say how much?
Speaker 7 (40:25):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (40:26):
A million? Maybe?
Speaker 2 (40:27):
But what does that make you think of? In doing
a deal that nobody knows about.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
And thinks me think of some things I don't like
thinking about. But regardless, I would still if they if
the MAVs hadn't gotten the number one pick in Cooper Flag, Yeah,
I would still be disgusted every time the MAVs came up.
Anytime the topic of the MAVs came up, or ownership
or any of that, I would be livid. But I'm
(40:51):
not because they got Cooper Flag or they're getting Cooper Flags.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Yeah, and I've said this a few times now.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
It's like what's happened has happened, But what the current
situation is is what the current situation is, and it's
not what the deal was. But I honestly don't think
there's an NBA GM that would not have traded Luka
Doncic for Cooper Flag, Anthony Davis, Max Christy in a
first round pick. I think twenty nine gms in the
(41:17):
NBA would have done that deal.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
Yeah, so real quick.
Speaker 4 (41:20):
Forbes in twenty twenty four valued the Cowboys at ten
and the Lakers at seven.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
That's the time in twenty four, So I bet. And
here's the other thing too. The reason the Lakers sold
for ten billion is because the guy wanted him. Yeah,
and when Cuban bought if you go back in time,
when Cuban bought the Mavericks for what was it, six
hundred and seventy million, is that what it was? Well,
I don't think it was that much.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
Was it that much? I thought it was like three
hundred million.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
Sound and correct?
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Okay, okay, so it's three hundred million.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
But remember when he bought the team, everyone said he
paid way too much money for the team. No, he did, No,
he didn't. He knew exactly what he was doing. And
the other thing too, is like you know, the Bus
family does not have a ton of money. They're all
of their money is the basketball team, the current NBA owners.
(42:14):
They have billion dollar fortunes in other industries. Sure so
now Jeanie Buss, who I think was a seventy seven
percent owner of the Bus family, now they're a seven
billion dollar family. Yep. Pretty amaz crazy man, all right?
Submit and Skin Show ninety seven point one, The Eagle
coming up next, and Wildlife News how a bee could
(42:37):
kill you? Stick around and find out wildlife.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
That kind of sounds like Fretzchneiner.
Speaker 4 (42:55):
All right, So Christina loves F one and I've had
this F one story here I wanted to do all week.
Lewis Hamilton, General Lewis Hamilton.
Speaker 3 (43:04):
Yeah, I know him because my wife. I mean I've
heard his name a million times. But during the met
gala or gala as it were, my wife was like,
oh my god, look at that guy who is Lewis Hamilton.
And I looked at him. I said, I think that's
an F one guy because I hear his name all
the time. But man, I'd hit that.
Speaker 6 (43:24):
Yeah, he is a gorgeous, gorgeous man.
Speaker 5 (43:26):
And he was like he had won constantly back to
back championships until Max Er Staffing came along. Yeah, Kevin
them two and then Max story winning and now it's
yeah someone else.
Speaker 4 (43:35):
Seven time world champion who apparently makes all the ladies
grit their teeth.
Speaker 6 (43:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
A well known animal lover that vegans. So the segment.
Speaker 6 (43:48):
He is a cameo in the New f one movie
and his dog does.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
Too, and his dog does two animal lover as his
dog racer.
Speaker 6 (43:56):
No, well, you gotta watch the movie.
Speaker 3 (43:57):
Finally I will. She's an animal lover and a vegan, yeah,
and a vegan. Does he wear a leather See that's
a true animal lover. Some people are like, I'm an
animal lover and then they're like, let me eat this
cow while wearing a leather coat. Yeah, so they're pepsi boots.
They're doing the race up there in Canada, good day. Now.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
You know, you're going like two hundred miles an hour
and a groundhog runs out in front of him and
he how does how does the groundhog gay smash that things?
Speaker 3 (44:28):
That's really hard for those groundhogs to you know, guess
the speed of the vehicle.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah, they're not used to that speed.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
And groundhogs are attracted to really obnoxiously loud sounds. Yeah,
they had to ra Oh there's a great loud sound
that's splitting my ears. I should run towards it. So
you know, we have coyotes up in Montreal. They have
groundhog problems. Okay, groundhogs have been getting in urban areas
and things like that.
Speaker 4 (44:52):
Boys said that, So this goes on the track. I
saw a video of it. Oh, round the left wheel
and he smushes it.
Speaker 2 (44:59):
How big is it like a squirrel?
Speaker 4 (45:00):
It's bigger than a squirrel. But isn't that much bigger?
Is it bigger than a really big squirrel?
Speaker 3 (45:06):
What he squirrels? It's not big too.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
Oh that's a beaver you're talking about that. That's a woodshot.
Speaker 5 (45:17):
The video we saw it looked like a squirrel was
just sitting there on the track. So it's about the
same size as a squirrel.
Speaker 3 (45:22):
Based on the way you set this up, it would
make more sense that he was smashing a beaver out
there with his car. Oh that's what he does, because
the way he looks, he's out there smashing beaver.
Speaker 6 (45:31):
I would have knocked him out of the race.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
And that's why, Like, for example, a lot of people
preferm to Max vers strap On.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
Who's what did you say, Max for stapping? Yep, uh,
he's been struggling lately.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
That was a good commentary.
Speaker 6 (45:49):
McLaren is kicking ass.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
That's why McLaren. He's doing great work. Saw him the
other night.
Speaker 4 (45:57):
The groundhog is bigger than the squirrel significantly, according to
the Internet.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Oh so maybe Kevin Turner vindicated three.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
Times bigger groundhog four to nine pounds. Squirrels never really
get more than about a pound and a half. Oh wow,
that's because they're very lean.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
Yeah, I'm go ahead and tell you I was right
on this one.
Speaker 6 (46:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
In fact, I'll use this. I'll use this.
Speaker 4 (46:20):
Image to show you got that's how right I amdog.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
Is okay, evil Lewis Hamilton. But in the image they
look about the same size, just once fatter and not
as cute. Why he swear it out of the way,
So because he would have died.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
Yeah, he would have died.
Speaker 6 (46:36):
He's going over two hundred miles an hour.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
So what is he distraught over it?
Speaker 3 (46:39):
Yeah? He was sad about it after and you gotta
do the interview and it's like, oh man, I didn't
know what to do. He was right there in front
of me. How long did it take him to wipe
groundhog off his tire? Because you got to do that right, Well,
I think at that point you just go all in
and order up a burger from room service, a burger,
some ribs.
Speaker 2 (46:59):
He's a ground not ground chuck.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
He said he was feeling pretty decent about the race
until lap thirteen when he ran over the animal, and
then he said, it's never nice to see that.
Speaker 3 (47:09):
I just hope it didn't suffer. What do he means suffer?
Like as soon as the thing ran over it at
two hundred miles an hour, life was over. Is that
the best way to go? Yeah, to get run over
by an Indy car? No, that's not a great way
to go. Formula one car, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
What is the difference? Aren't they both just open wheel cars?
Speaker 6 (47:28):
No, there's a difference.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
What is it?
Speaker 6 (47:30):
I don't know the difference, but just the look of
them is there's.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
A difference, Yeah, Kevin.
Speaker 4 (47:34):
As far as damage to his car, he said, there's
a hole in it on the floor on the right side.
Speaker 3 (47:39):
But he finished with I'm happy I could just finish.
Oh oh, because it's uh yeah, and that's not much
in it for him because everyone just thinks he's smoking hot.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (47:50):
Yeah, it's a struggle. You still got to like go
about your business. All right. There you have it. There
is the Wildlife News, the Wildlife News of course, with
the lounge by Top Golf out here. We're here for
the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, and we're here because of
Rollertown Beer Works of Brewery. We're invested in. Rollertown is
a sponsor of this event and they got us in
(48:10):
the house. So if you're coming out this weekend, keep
in mind, tickets are incredibly inexpensive to come to a
major that's happening here in DFW. Go to KPMG WOMEN'SPGA
Championship dot.
Speaker 2 (48:21):
Com to get your tickets.
Speaker 3 (48:23):
Kids under fifteen get in for free as long as
they're with a ticketed adult and four kids per adult.
And where's Rollertown set up out here right behind hold
number nine, so on the turn ben. But look if
you look out there, see where all that stuff is happening,
like right out there. So that's basically where you come
in on the front nine and you turn going back
out to the back nine. It's a big setup and
(48:45):
Rollertown is right there behind whole number nine as the
golfers make the turn. Heck, yes, now, this thing right
here's brought to you by Andrews American Pizza Kitchen in Plano, Texas.
If you're a foodie and you're wondering who is the
best who makes the best pizza, well, readers of the
Dallas Were New say it's Andrews American Pizza Kitchen. There's
only one of them in DFW. It's in Plano at
Preston and Plano Parkway. So if you're a true foodie
(49:06):
and you want to get out and about this weekend,
get over to Andrew's American Pizza Kitchen in Plano. I
want to show you something that was last night. Me
and Mama went. I had a cal zone and it
was delicious. And don't forget you know. They won Best
Pizza dm N last year. They're up for six more
categories this year. You can go vote for him every
single day. So go vote for our friends and Andrew's
American Pizza Kitchen in the Best of DMN thing. Heck, yes,
(49:29):
we got a little bit of breaking news, but we're
not going to break it for another ten minutes.
Speaker 2 (49:33):
That don't go anywhere. But right now it's time for this.
Speaker 6 (49:35):
Whats going on in Dallas?
Speaker 1 (49:45):
All right?
Speaker 4 (49:47):
Stephen actually sent this to me Win, so that would
tell me that Skin subscribes to the US News and
World Report.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
We need to give a shout out to our homeboy,
Clarence Carter, who we worked with at PN Radio. He
sent this to me and Ben Currents.
Speaker 4 (50:02):
Carter, of course was stroking touring with Bruce Springsteen for
all those years.
Speaker 3 (50:08):
That's Clarence Clemens, and he has passed away. You jerk,
Roger Clemens, the flamethrowing picture that got into a lot
of trouble.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
Yeah, big Longhorns guy though, Yeah, he'll put glue in
his arm.
Speaker 4 (50:20):
So it is the fifteen best big cities to live
in in the United States in both twenty five and
twenty six.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
So oh tankes couple of years, all right.
Speaker 4 (50:30):
What they used to break this down though, was these
things quality of life, affordability, job market strength, and overall desirability.
So we're talking crime rates, commute times, healthcare access, education quality,
and these.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
Are major cities.
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Yeah, it's not like Nacadocha's no doubt, all right, I
can tell you without fear.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
That six are in Texas in the top fifteen. Oh wow.
I didn't even know there were six major cities in Texas.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
I thought there were five.
Speaker 3 (51:01):
There's Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, Houston
and Beaumont and yeah and Garland and roy City. It's Roy.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
Oh Royally.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
Yeah. Fifteen. San Diego always sound pretty desirable to me.
Would be higher, but I think the cost of living
is outrge, and I think everyone's trying to get out
of California, not stay in California. Dude. My kids went
to the San Diego Zoo yesterday. Oh yeah, and you
know it's the best zoo in America apparently. Okay, yeah,
I've been there. Yeah, oh you have? Yeah, been there?
What a big shots? The best do in America. Why
wouldn't I go there? Yeah, dude, congrats on them not
(51:40):
getting mauled. Yeah no, they actually Desmond went out there
into the monkey cage.
Speaker 4 (51:46):
Fourteen Indianapolis. What what thirteen Dallas not a top ten city?
Oh the irony, yeah?
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Or the boys down the field?
Speaker 3 (51:59):
Yeah. Twelve Seattle. I'll vouch for Seattle. I love Seattle.
I want to go so bad, me too.
Speaker 4 (52:04):
I've never been good city, Yepata. And you can take
a small, small drive ten to fifteen minutes out of town,
go up a mountain.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
I think it's more of a short drive than a
small drive.
Speaker 3 (52:15):
Columbus, Ohio number eleven. Yeah, I've heard Columbus is fantastic
ben this time of year. Yeah, Bonita run Yeah. Ten Houston. No,
Houston should not be higher than it.
Speaker 4 (52:26):
Says that because of that one barbecue spot that Gary
Ark coop told us about it.
Speaker 3 (52:31):
If you missed it catching on the iHeart. I will
say this, and I'm gonna piss off a bunch of
rich people in Dallas. Houston is an amazing cuisine city. Really,
Oh yes, okay, because it's it's basically an international magnet
because of their petroleum oil scene. And so you have
like Nigerian community, Thai community, like you have people from
(52:53):
all around the world and they bring their authentic cuisine
to your community. And so Houston is a badass food
city as Arizona. Don't worry about that table. Arizona is not.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
Thank you, Thank you.
Speaker 4 (53:08):
Charlotte, North Carolina, Dude. I love Charlotte, I love Shark.
It's a good city.
Speaker 3 (53:16):
Seven Jacksonville.
Speaker 6 (53:19):
I've never been, but there Lex and Terri started out
in Jacksonville.
Speaker 3 (53:22):
I I have been, but we we flew in there
because we stayed in Saint Augustine, which is the oldest
city in America. But I didn't I don't know that.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
I thought Jacksonville was badass and a.
Speaker 3 (53:32):
Sad band of horses songs. San Antonio number six list
sucks Man ahead of Dallas is terrible. Dude to get
the food maybe the first. Let's ask Charles Barkley what
he thinks about that. Five Nashville.
Speaker 6 (53:46):
I love Nashville.
Speaker 3 (53:47):
I've never been. Oh my god, what I've never been.
Speaker 6 (53:51):
It's like it's the music capital city of the world.
Speaker 3 (53:55):
Mad at you, guys, It's the music capital. If you
have a mandolin in your backpack, which I happened to have.
Speaker 5 (54:02):
You guys would love Third Man Records. Just going there
and see Jack White incredible.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
I feel you. Dog. Four. Fort Worth, nice legit.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
It's the gateway to the West. Ben I love Fort Worth.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
If I didn't work for ninety seven point one the
Eagle Uh and didn't have a brewery in Solina that's
going to be in Frisco soon, I would move to
Fort Worth. In a heartbeat.
Speaker 4 (54:26):
That's when we get that bullet train you and you'll
be find I love it. Austin three. Uh, I haven't
been to Austin in so long. I don't know that
I can vouch for it.
Speaker 2 (54:36):
That's so crowded.
Speaker 3 (54:37):
I hear Austin's changed a lot like it the last
couple of times.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
I went to l Paso. Wait, whoa, whoa what Passo.
It's a great place.
Speaker 3 (54:48):
That's compelling evidence that he just submitted number one.
Speaker 2 (54:51):
Yep, let me guess.
Speaker 4 (54:54):
Oh maha, no, but it does start with an oh
oh Orlando No, And tonight they will be hoisting the
trophy Oklahoma City.
Speaker 3 (55:04):
Ew.
Speaker 4 (55:06):
This list sucks, yes, and I'd like to dedicate this
segment to all the Seattle Supersonic fans out there.
Speaker 3 (55:12):
You are screwed. Yeah, thank you for a terrible list.
Cood job coming up next where we're going to go
on the weekly weekday up date.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
Apparently there's huge breaking news and we might need to
be changing our passwords.
Speaker 3 (55:22):
No, that's coming up, and we are at Lounge by
Top Golf out here at PGA Frisco headquarters, the PJA
Omni Resort and Spa.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
It is awesome.
Speaker 3 (55:34):
If you have plans to come out here for the
KPMG Women's PGA Championship this weekend, make sure to come
by the lounge by Top Golf where several Rollertown beers
are available here and that's the brewery Ben and I
are partners in and they're sponsors of the KPMG and
so that's why we are out here today. We will
have a news quickie and in honor of where we are,
(55:56):
we have the best golf movies in the Big Finish.
But right now it's for this and now it's time
for Basis Weekday Day featuring veteran news anchor kat Fon tweets.
Here are the important stories he's currently tracking from around
the world. It's good. Then the last breaks.
Speaker 4 (56:16):
Then I was like, man, there's a huge breaking news
story that we need to discuss about the uh mother
of old data breaches. Yep, because Forbes ten hours ago
at seven am this morning, are you on.
Speaker 3 (56:32):
The story a huge man?
Speaker 4 (56:33):
Dude, I'd never heard of the story because it doesn't
seem to be that urgent. Sixteen billion Apple, Facebook, Google
and other passwords have leaked and that's his act now,
And then I clicked on that Forbes story.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
And they say that, but the article is really about
how you should have.
Speaker 4 (56:51):
A password manager, and if you have, you know, some seniors,
to get them a password manager so they can log
in good, and to change your accounts maybe every once
in a while.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
Let's just I really hope your data gets breached. There's
such a chirt.
Speaker 3 (57:03):
Let's check out some other headlines.
Speaker 4 (57:05):
Let's see from one day ago, Apple insider sixteen billion loggins.
Speaker 3 (57:08):
Discovered across exposed data sets. But don't panic. Did you
have this on our news yesterday? No? I didn't. Yep.
Let's see, dude, you're taking that Apple money. You're scared
to report on it? Yeah, a new Apple endorsement. Look
at you, big Apple.
Speaker 4 (57:23):
Let's go to a site called Tom's Hardware. Sixteen billion
accounts exposed and one of the.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
Largest data breaches in history, in history. All right, you
don't report on history history. So what are we doing?
Are we freaking out about this or not?
Speaker 2 (57:36):
I'm headed home right now.
Speaker 3 (57:37):
The local news sources are talking about this.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
I'm going to go put my computer in a vault.
Speaker 6 (57:41):
Dude.
Speaker 5 (57:41):
I tried to change my Facebook password during the break
and it took me like two different clicks to like
verify that it was actually me and I'm out, so
you know what havebut it.
Speaker 3 (57:49):
I don't care.
Speaker 6 (57:50):
I don't care.
Speaker 3 (57:51):
I don't have any assets.
Speaker 2 (57:54):
Isn't AI going to take everything anyways?
Speaker 3 (57:56):
Sure? Man? I was watching a couple guys. One guy
is real British and they were just talking about, you know,
what's going on with AI and how it's changing things.
And this guy who was his job is he's a historian. Okay,
that's his job. Hey man, I know history.
Speaker 4 (58:15):
Let me know.
Speaker 3 (58:15):
If you need to know anything about history, it's my job.
So basically that means you're an author. But he was
sitting there saying that Isaac Asimov, who's a famous science
fiction writer, predicted by the year twenty thirty that the
average work week would be twelve to fifteen hours. Whoa,
because technology would put everything in a position to where
(58:38):
you don't need to work more than that, and then
you spend more of your time discovering yourself.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
I hope that's true, because it's probably gonna be We're
gonna have like ten part time jobs, right well.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
No, everybody will learn how to play guitar because I'll
have all this spare time on thatue. So the problem
is technology is using the need for human employment and
human and human race is expanding way rapidly.
Speaker 2 (59:07):
You know, and I guess it's I don't know if
it's Ireland or Scotland.
Speaker 3 (59:11):
They have the dole. You guys have heard of the
dole basically where they just subsidize your existence. It's it's
basically it's kind of like the European version of welfare,
but you're on the dole. They just the government pays
you to exist. Okay, now you're not living a great life,
but you're alive. And so that's what these guys were
(59:31):
debating is like, Okay, with AI doing all of this,
what's probably going to happen is there will be some
sort of a dole for citizens globally. They're not going
to be living that you know, middle class lifestyle and
driving nice cars and all this, but they will exist
and they will work twelve hours a week.
Speaker 4 (59:52):
What if social security runs out by twenty thirty four,
as was predicted in a story today by.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
News, Oh that's a bigger story. So you're saying, skin
put your story on the bench. You a bigger story.
Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
Yes, that's SpaceX explosion Yeah, I don't have a lot
of good stories, to be honest, like, I don't know
that there's great news out there now except the leaderboard
at the KPMG Women's PGA.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
During the break, you guys, let me know that the
doom plane landed in Washington. So that way that Trump
can fly around in this plane while nuclear bombs go
off and he'll be fine for two weeks. Yeah, all right,
there you have it. Hopefully that happens and we have
a beautiful tournament this weekend. Gorgeous out there, ben APMG
Women's PGA.
Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
Championship is probably gonna happen. To feel good. It's happening. Now,
what are you talking about? Come watch a major.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
It's happening in Frisco and there's still tickets available.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
Kids fifteen and hundred get in free.
Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
This is the place to be this weekend, the KPMG
Women's PGA Championship, and we're out here thanks to our
friends at Rollertown. We're in the lounge by Top Golf.
Come see us and say hello, OMNIPGA and resort and SPA.
This is the place to be, all right. Coming up next,
we got a news quick Cooper Flags Meeting with the MAVs.
Happened last night and we're now getting details on what happened.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
We'll have that for you next My I know that,
but that's offensive.
Speaker 3 (01:01:14):
That is a world class hot dog.
Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
We're at the lounge by Tom Shocking.
Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Oh it's so good. I'm gonna eat that while I'm talking.
Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
Uh, we're that white stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
We're at the kp MG Women's PGA Championship Rollertown has
us out here at the OMNIPGA Resort and Spa in Frisco,
and we're so excited to be here. It's the place
to be all weekend. There's a major going on here
coming up next in just about ten minutes. The best
golf movie Don't touch that. I touch at the end
of it, touching that, oh touch pointing to the tip
(01:01:49):
because it's such a golf extravaganza. We're gonna talk about
the greatest golf movies of all time? What are they?
But right now it's time for this. Give me that
news quickie. I love upside all right.
Speaker 4 (01:02:01):
So last night, last night, two nights ago, Ye Cooper
Flag was in town because Wednesday's the NBA Draft and
the Mavericks at the number one fix they're gonna take
Cooper flag.
Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
And you can hear it right here on ninety seven
point one the Eagle.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Inside a private room at which iconic Dallas steakhouse.
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Bob Steak. It is Bob's Off of Lemon. That's the
og location, Kevin. He sat down with a.
Speaker 4 (01:02:32):
Group of high ranking Dallas Mavericks officials. What's the order
of operations there? Sam Perkins, Kurt Ymphius and Bob and
Popeye Jones. Okay, now, what's the real answer to that.
Speaker 3 (01:02:47):
It's Nico, It's Michael Finley, It's matt Riccardi, It's Rick Welts,
It's Chasing Kidd. No, Dumont. I don't know if he's
in town. I would doubt that he's in town. Okay,
but I could be wrong, but I would doubt that
he's in town. That's interesting. So Bob said that he
really enjoyed the sample. Yeah, did he have the coat
(01:03:10):
and a booth? It's a great state. Oh is that
the name of the I've never.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Been to Bob's the Bone and ribb I like the bone.
Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Did he have the glazed carrot? Had to?
Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
Everybody had glazed carrots.
Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
They're so excited about he's watching his weight. Oh, I
have an unglazed as opposed to the other guy who wouldn't.
Speaker 6 (01:03:28):
Oh, pretty safe, dude.
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
Cooper Flag is a beacon of health. Yeah at eighteen,
how do you know?
Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
He's a growing boy.
Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
That's what's kind of crazy about all this.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
December. I think he's going to end up being seven
four seven five if you're if.
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
You're him, it's insane. And you and you know half
a foot You know that they that Nico traded Luca
because he thought he was overweight, among many other things.
Do you push the envelope and like, eat a whole
cake and front of eco is to let him know
you're the boss?
Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
Do you you?
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
I just want a small side south when you have
a mouthful of Glades carrot, you say you're going to
bring at after this? Hey, if you don't want me
the Sixers? Do you know the Spurs do?
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
Spurs would trade with you? Spurs at number two?
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Right? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
I think they'll probably be taking Cooper Flag and it'll
be good.
Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
I always liked this stuff, though. Where do they go?
And in the Dallas Morning News article, did y'all read
the sentence? I did not.
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
At the very end it said perhaps the visit to
Bob's with flag signaled a changing of the guard from Doncic,
whose affinity for Nick and Sam steakhouse was well documented.
Oh interesting, as the restaurant still has a seventy seven
out steak on its menu named the Luca.
Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
That's probably why they didn't go there. I wonder why
they didn't go there.
Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
He's got a menu item based on how much he
can eat.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Yeah, the old seventy seven er.
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
Yeah, you eat it. It's free. That's what the Navy
seals eight after they got Ben. Luck.
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
If you want the team six, you.
Speaker 6 (01:04:58):
Scroll bake after that kid in that picture.
Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
Yeah, these are salad. That's awesome.
Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Yeah, it's a good article. I mean, I guess it
just kept such a good article. I guess, Yeah, it's
it's pretty good. They came in through the front door,
they spent two and a half hours dining, and left
to a side door when the restaurant was full.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
Yeah, you gotta do that because everyone's gone. It's him.
It's the new guy. Do you realize Me and Ben
once ate at Bob's with the maloof brothers. Okay, that's weird.
Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
And and Norm you're gonna need to explain to everyone
who the former King's owners are.
Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
The maloof Brothers were Vegas guys that owned the Sacramento Kings,
and they were friends with Norm Hitzkis, and so one
time me and Ben and Norm Hitzkis and Fredo and
the maloof Brothers ended up eating at Bob's.
Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
He's a good guy.
Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Out there, the firefighter. He was, Yeah, that's a crap.
That's a better story than you had, dude, Yeah, thank you.
I didn't have any I didn't have any heroes in
a story. Rich guys.
Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
Knowing how you feel about Freedo rest in peace?
Speaker 4 (01:06:04):
Were all these maloof guys like focused guys or were
they just kind of, you know, not really present.
Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
They were like telling stories about all the money that
I remember. My my impersonation of each of them was
the exact same.
Speaker 2 (01:06:16):
I looked at that hotel, I was gonna buy it.
I did buy it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
I bought it. I bought a plane I own that
I bought. They were just kicking all the things that
I couldn't remember which one bought what. And then while
they were trying to figure it out, they'd put their
nose on the table and rip a giant rail right
off the table at jobs.
Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
That's not true, well, nor would chop it up for.
Speaker 6 (01:06:38):
After dessert.
Speaker 4 (01:06:39):
I hope this segment really got everyone excited for next
Wednesday show, as we'll be live at the American Airline Center.

(01:07:37):
We also have juice Serum here, Rollertown Light and who's
the hefe Our Magical hef of Eisen Beer. That's a
great summer beer. But these are glorious times. Ben, Yeah,
Skin a Rollertown legend. Justin Cannon is in the house today.
There's a beer named after him, I understanding is the
lobo Ombre beer, our Mexican law bugger was named after him.
(01:08:01):
He was on vacation somewhere and he was going shirtless
and the locals kept calling him lobo Ambre. He's going
shirtless right now, going shirtless right now, and I can
see why. He's got some recent piercings. Man. Uh No,
but that kid's got a great arm. That's an absolute
royalty to be in the house with us today, So
it's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Yeah, it's really really nice.
Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
And if you are going to be out here this weekend,
stop my lounge by Top Golf. The ice house is great,
and of course we are positioned right behind whole number
nine out here at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. But
right now it's time for this the thing's big. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
So yesterday we did some like an auto racing movie
talk because Christina saw the f one movie cut and
I was like, God, we're gonna be out at PGA Frisco.
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
This is perfect day to tuckle golf. Incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:08:55):
So the same website that I got the auto racing
thing from, you might have heard of it, Rotten Tomatoes,
h Top twenty golf movies.
Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
Got No, there's twenty. Yeah, I mean he's twenty. There's
the one with the Costner when he goes for the shot,
the ten Cup, the Great ten Cup. That'll be a
top five. Caddy Shack will be a top five, Happy Gilmore, Uh,
that'll be a top twenty. And uh, you're a huge
fan of the Legend of Bagger Vance. No, not a
(01:09:25):
big fan of that one. That's a good one.
Speaker 4 (01:09:27):
Well, we're about to discover something that you've probably never
heard of, including the twenty seventeen vehicles starring Tommy Lee
Jones and Morgan Freeman. But also wait, Costner's therapist in
ten Cupper in a russo just getting started?
Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
When did that come out?
Speaker 3 (01:09:44):
A thoroughly unfunny.
Speaker 4 (01:09:45):
Missfire Oh is what it does described as sounds Terrible
twenty seventeen.
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
I'm in who else is in it? That's about it? Yep,
that's probably why it missed from day. Russo's the whole
movie Tommy Lee Jones and Morgan. Oh did you all
miss that part? No? I thought that was a separate movie. Yeah,
I thought it was a different movie. What the way
you're talking about it, You're like talking about you guys
are going to learn about this Tommy Lee Jones Morgan
Freeman movie. But first let's talk about the Misfire for
(01:10:15):
with Renee Russo. I saw that movie.
Speaker 6 (01:10:17):
It was on a boat you did just getting started?
Speaker 3 (01:10:20):
Yeah, the Tommy Lee Jones movie, and it was good. No,
I did not see that.
Speaker 6 (01:10:28):
What is how much beer have you guys had? I'm
so confused.
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
We pretend like the last minute and a half didn't happen.
Speaker 6 (01:10:34):
I was following along just fine, confused.
Speaker 2 (01:10:38):
He's drunk off phallic meat. I don't think you've been drinking.
Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
I think the rest of the nation, and dare I
say the Globe was following along just fine.
Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
Yeah, I was thinking of Tommy Lee.
Speaker 6 (01:10:47):
You.
Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
Oh, sir, that is the most callous.
Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
That is a that is a club movie. But it's
not a golf club movie.
Speaker 3 (01:10:57):
Dang, ye, it's okay.
Speaker 4 (01:10:58):
Then nineteen cats gonna be what?
Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
So what? They could have just left those two movies
off and had the top eighteen Golf.
Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
In twenties nice and Round Candy two is a terrible movie.
Speaker 3 (01:11:10):
Do you guys realize yesterday on Kevin's racing list they had.
Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
Cars three but not cars two.
Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
Yeah. I don't know, man, I've seen him.
Speaker 6 (01:11:18):
That's not listen. I remember liking the second one and
I was in like high school.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
Yeah, the second one was good, the third one was.
Speaker 4 (01:11:24):
But number seventeen two thousand and seven takes us and
to start this movie as a big boy from outcast
along with Terry Crews, who's your Caddy?
Speaker 3 (01:11:33):
What golf movies are terrible? Yeah? A se note wants
to join the Carolina Pines Golfing Country Club.
Speaker 4 (01:11:44):
Okay, Number seven, I mean that's compelling. Christopher McDonald, you
get shooting McGavin back.
Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
Okay, god, and a movie called The Squeeze that's so bad.
Number that's so bad? Sixteen. See now, at least they're
trying to do something.
Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
The ones that are gonna bore me or stuff like
this starring the great Robert Duval Seven Days in Utopia.
Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
Ice Cream twenty eleven. That's pretty good. Thanks.
Speaker 4 (01:12:14):
Fifteen Bobby Jones and The Stroke of Genius. That's the
legend of Bobby Jones. There's not very many golf movies
that are good bag of Vance. Now, the Bobby Jones
story starred Jim Cavizel famous as Jesus.
Speaker 3 (01:12:26):
Oh and dude, that that makes sense because Bobby Jones
was the Jesus of golf.
Speaker 4 (01:12:30):
But Jim cavisl also is the reason Romo didn't get
a title because of Elenahan. Yeah, number fourteen, the legend
of Bagervants. Yeah, Will Smith, Matt Damon, Charlie's Charlie's theeranre
Charlie's There, directed by Robert Redford.
Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Yeah, it's the story, like we've seen it time and
time again, of a magical black man. Have you guys
stumbled across any of Will Smith's new music, No, you
want to avoid it? Is that right?
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:12:58):
So the fifty year old is not crushing, it's terrible.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
Yeah, he's got the song that goes.
Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
Girls, girls, girls, girls. I like pretty girls, girls girl,
and that's the song. So that's legit.
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
The family guy yeah, yeah, yeah, I respect.
Speaker 3 (01:13:18):
Take him to a parking maybe museum and gets some
move and they're ready.
Speaker 4 (01:13:24):
What oh god, this is terrible thirteen round of your life.
This one's got the the very the uplifting story of
when a car accident leaves his father in a coma,
a fifteen year old prodigy joins his high school golf team.
Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
Incredible Number twelve, Happy Gilmour. That is bull crack. It
should have been number one.
Speaker 6 (01:13:41):
Yeah, at least that's fun.
Speaker 4 (01:13:42):
That should have been number two to Caddy Shack Havy
Gilmore is so fun. Watch it again, Realize it's wonderful.
Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
I'm seeing it recently. Is saving an orphanage?
Speaker 3 (01:13:51):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:13:52):
When's the second one coming out?
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
Gui?
Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
Okay, yeah, I can't wait. Number eleven the greatest game
ever played Shilah.
Speaker 3 (01:13:59):
Boof Oh, I'm out.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
He's a good actor, directed by the great Bill Pass
and show some respect.
Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
Yeah he's a weirdo, he's lost his mind, but he dude,
he's a great actor.
Speaker 4 (01:14:09):
He was uh ten something called Tommy's on over. What
has honor spilled with the user? Yeah, you didn't have
to do it phonetically.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
It's honor.
Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
On hower under nine Costner he's in the mix along
with Cheech.
Speaker 3 (01:14:26):
It's tin cup score there.
Speaker 2 (01:14:30):
That movie would have been better if Chong was in
it instead of Cheat.
Speaker 3 (01:14:34):
No, it would not have been good if Chong was
his caddy. I don't think they would have made it
up and down the You're one hundred nine. Yeah, and
the whole thing about the idea this incredibly difficult hole
that's on the water, and you can either lay up
and play conservatively, or you can go for it. But
if you go for it, you're likely to go in
the water, and so a big risk, big reward. And
(01:14:55):
he refuses to lay up, and he just keeps blowing
his opportunity by going for it.
Speaker 4 (01:14:59):
That's spoiling the movie. Yes, exactly, it's more about the
mental mindset of the game. But also I think it's
about gambling because Don Johnson plays a hell of a
role as a villain.
Speaker 3 (01:15:09):
Here's the thing about this movie. Don Johnson and Kevin
Costner could have switched roles and nobody would have noticed.
Are you commenting on something you've never seen before? I
am no, You've never seen Don Johnson.
Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
I love Don Johnson.
Speaker 3 (01:15:23):
Some things are better left unsaid. If he moves great,
he made Da Coda Johnson with his Don Johnson. Number eight,
Seve the movie What Sevey? The movie? We're doing it
for Seve.
Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
Oh, it's about Balisteros.
Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
Every golfer will say, every golfer of European descent will
say that they're doing it for Seve. I'm going I'm
joining the lift tour for five hundred dollars for Seve
because he's like their tiger.
Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
Oh, it's pretty annoying.
Speaker 4 (01:15:48):
Uh. Something called The Caddies Long Walkeet number seven starring
Bill Murray.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
That sounds like a movie that doesn't exist.
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
No number seven there. It is number six, Swing of
Your Guy from Seinfeld and Family. You.
Speaker 4 (01:16:03):
John o'hurley's in this along with Shannon Elizabeth from American Posh.
Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
She looked so good back in nineteen ninety whatever that
year was.
Speaker 4 (01:16:12):
She had a rough go in twenty sixteen when she
had to make the movie swing Away, which is the
number six movie of all time.
Speaker 6 (01:16:17):
That's terrible according to the movie clear number six golf movie.
Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
Of number five. Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. You can't
stop these two when they're together. It's the caddy that's a.
Speaker 3 (01:16:28):
Good movie, is it nope. Have you seen that. I've
never heard of it. What about number four, something called
The Short Game, Yeah, I remember it. Peter Dinklice was
in it, is he Oh come on man, yeah, come on, Ernie.
Just let the kids play golf. Who's in it?
Speaker 4 (01:16:47):
Jack Nicholas and Gary Player. Oh it's a documentary, Sorenstam.
All right, not a documentary, it's a movie. It's about
the seven year old golfers.
Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
Three.
Speaker 4 (01:16:56):
This is a movie that you guys have both seen
many times, starring athne Hepburn.
Speaker 3 (01:17:00):
It's a something called Pat and Mike. Yeah. God, this
list is terrible.
Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
There's not that many good because not many golf movies. Yeah,
but even these are out of border. Number two. Caddy
Shack should be number one, could be.
Speaker 4 (01:17:13):
Number one according to the rankings, though I'm like from
a score standpoint, it would have been in the bottom
half of this list.
Speaker 3 (01:17:20):
Seventy three.
Speaker 5 (01:17:21):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (01:17:21):
Critics did not give Caddyshack good reviews when it came
out audience score of seventy three right, oh uh? Number one?
Speaker 6 (01:17:30):
What boom?
Speaker 3 (01:17:33):
No one's ever heard of this?
Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
The Fan The Phantom of the Open, That is so
m dude, mind is there not a mini golf movie.
Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
You know what, I've never been so excited for a
segment that I ended up hating so much. Oh my god,
I really wish this never went out over the air.
That is so bad.
Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
I think they might cancel the rest of this tournament.
Speaker 3 (01:17:55):
No, this is so bad that I'm not coming into
work tomorrow either. I'm not either. You know what, don't don't, Kevin.
I want you to have a three day weekend to
think about it. Let's just run like a best of
tomorrow and come back out here and watch.
Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
We can't run a best of, though, we'll get in
trouble good. I'm interested in all right, here's what we'll
do tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
During this time slot, will air the famous golf movie
Pat and Mike, So tune in tomorrow. I'll never forget
the time KT looked Sevy Balistero's dead in his dead
eyes and he said, what.
Speaker 6 (01:18:33):
Eating ice cream?
Speaker 3 (01:18:34):
Ice cream? That's gonna do it for us. Enjoy your weekend, everybody.
Christine is gonna stick around play some tunes right here
on the eagle. There you going, so I'm gonna get
some cheeks after this horse Powers joint
