looking at the NFL trade deadline. It's now officially coming
gone right, Yes, it is over. And so the Cowboys
did pull off two trades. One for Logan Wilson gave

him seventh round pick. Let's go just move forward to that.
I saw Kavanaugh posting some film of him and he
was looked terrible, and I'm like all right, Cavin, I
was like, he'll fit right.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
In's doing him wrong right now, he's finding his bad play.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Yeah, and he admitted that. Kevin I was like, look,
I've only seen four plays. I just I'm just here's
one I saw. But the big news is the Cowboys
traded for Quinn Williams. Now he's twenty seven, he'll be
twenty eight in December. He's generally regarded as being one
of the best defensive tackles in the league, in the league,
so here they had osa re signed him in the offseason.

They trade Mica and pick up Kenny, so they seem
to be set at defensive tackle. But no, they go
out and get another defensive tackle. This one the best
of all three. But it makes you think, Okay, Kenny
Clark is going to be a cap casualty, probably won't
be here after this year. And so look, Quinn Williams
is great. Getting Quinn Williams is awesome. That's that's great.
And it look, it helps you for this year, which

is washed, but it helps you for next year as well.
And so you're going for it with Dak as your quarterback,
you know. And but that said, if you look at
what they gave up for Quinn Williams, and then you
look at, okay, let's look at the Micah trade, and
you kind of do a net net, which is kind
of human nature. It ends up not being that impressive

of a haul for Mike.

You traded Micah and your first round pick for Quinn
Williams and two Packers first round picks.

And to not get a huge haul and keep that

and they're desperately shooting from the hip to get some
more people in here is not smart business to me.
But it gives them a better chance to be more
interesting in the back half of this year, and next
year's defense is better. But I just don't the logic
on all of this is just signed Micah and I

know like they feel like they have more cat flexibility
and all that stuff. That's where I would have been though,
is like, let's use all the data we have and
everything that we have that shows us that we're decent
defense when Micah's on the field. We're terrible when he's
off the field. Let's go off that. But that's that's done, right, Yeah, no,

You know what I thought a lot about that, you
guys have been talking about last night watching that Cowboys
lost to the Cardinals, because I watched it after I
knew they had lost, because I had MAV's duty. So

Now? Knowing that we're three five and one at the
end of the night, and knowing that we're probably and
now we're past the trade deadline, not going to trade him.
I was sitting there going, man, if I could even
have gotten a third for him at the deadline, I
would have done it, because you're not going to bring
him back. You're just gonna go, you know, find another guy,
or Jayden Blue will get more carries or whatever. And dude,

he has a good running back and a team that
has a chance could really use him. Yeah, I look,
I would have been open to trading every single person
that's on your roster now that's not going to be
on it next year if it gets you more picks
because you don't have a second round pick in this
upcoming draft. Now you don't have a third round pick
because you traded it for pickings, and so you have

two first round picks, and then you immediately go to
the fourth. Yeah, and you have a lot of ne right,
So I mean, I don't know, if you know, I
would have been open to trading pickings, Chavonte Williams, Kenny Clark, Digs,
anybody who's not coming back next year. Don't get me wrong,
I would love for them to keep pickings too, if
it makes sense. But you have like your And this

is what's confusing about the Cowboys suddenly being bad on offense.
I thought the Cowboys were elite offensively and worst in
class defensively. Now they can't do anything offensively either, and
that's very confusing and alarming there.

But they're they're they're good.

They're good offensively, and the next time we see him
play will be against the bad Raiders team and they're
going to drop thirty again. I really think the Cardinals
are pretty damn good defensively, They're better than I realized
they were. But god, they were missing three they were
missing two corners and then lost another corner like they were.
They were out their top three corners in that game,

and our elite receivers still weren't winning one on one matchups.

Yeah, definitely the least comfortable Dacks looked all year long.
And he was pressure. They got tons of pressure on him.

I don't want to because if you have, you get
a good player like this in Quinn Williams, and it
makes you want to go, Okay, I just I just
don't think they were in a position to do that,
and it sucks. And then maybe they could have been
and they win their last two games, or don't get
run over by the Bears or don't get you know,
trucked by the Panthers, and it might make a little
more sense. I just have a hard time wrapping my
head around giving up what you've giving up to like

you get this doesn't make sense to me. This is
I think it's a bad business. I he was like
a Cowboys fans are probably like excited about them doing something,
but I'm just not really seeing the vision. This just
feels like it's the trade deadline. So I'm making moves.
Was I healthy last night? If he was for so

I think that's a big part of this too, though.
And I thought about this last night, or I'm sorry,
I thought about this earlier today when I was thinking
about the trades. There is a lot of this that
Jerry just wants some activity going on because he knows

And I mean, look, we consider and talk about how
much you gave up and how you mishandled the Micah
thing all day long. I think this is a smart
move to rebuild your defense, like you have something to
build off of now. I don't know how you guys feel,
but in watching as Iraku last night, in the last
couple of weeks, I was watching a guy that I
thought he's going to be so much better next year.

the quarterback at old times. Each game he's gotten better, yeah,
each game. And it's not like he doesn't already have

in your draft. And maybe Overshown's got something. Not be
good at free agency. Not be good at identifying your
best players early and getting value based contracts with them

have a good offseason, they'll be right back in the
max next year.

and here's the main thing that's in it that's getting
people's attention. There are lots of government officials going on
record on both sides of the aisle, like you hear
the voice of Senator Mark Rubio in there currently a

part of Trump's cabinet saying there are presidents.

That don't even have access to this information. Usually that
information only happens in a skiff yep, yeah, right, Adam skiff.
So that's what they call it, right.

The thing we've heard about is the idea that UFOs
are hovering over like nuclear weapons, yes, with a bunch
of interest, Like that's a hubbub of UFO activity and
they're like saying, Hey, what are you guys trying to
do with these weapons? If you're going to blow up Earth,
we're gonna have to take these weapons away from you?

Or are you a danger to us? Or don't ruin
our planet before we come and colonize it. Like, I
don't know what's going on with that, but that's kind
of the idea, right, That's part of it. And the
guy that I saw the director talking about this. So
this movie premiered it south by Southwest before it had
distribution back in March, and then it's dropping on Amazon.
It's going to be in New York and LA for
a week before it's just on Amazon, but it's coming

to Amazon Prime November the twenty first, and once everybody
gets to see it, there will probably be even more
buzz about it. But that's one of the things I
heard the director talking about, is these crafts that they're
acknowledging there are crafts.

We don't know where they're from, but we're acknowledging we
don't think this is of earth.

facilities and they have shown the ability to turn off
all the nuclear weapons and turn them back on according
to insane according to the director, So then it spawns
this whole other conversation of why are they doing that?

point being is that if they had ill intent, they
don't have to play with their food.

at we were talking about this earlier. If you look
at the Quinn Williams deal and you put it through
the lens of the Micah trade and you look at
the net net, is anybody happy with that? No, you
can't be happy because of the quality of player Micah
is if you were going to figure out a way

to keep Kenny Clark long term and readjust his money
and all that, but if you look at where their
resources are on defense now, it's clear Kenny Clark will
not be on this team moving forward. So basically, you
traded Micah and the first round pick that's going to
the Jets, and in return you got two packers first

round picks and oh you also gave up a secon
round pick and you got Quinn Williams. That's that's you're
you're not happy with that net return. I don't think, No,

by saying is honestly, by writing off this year and

signing Micah. And then now that takes you to a

of the MAVs games and I don't think I saw
a single shot go in for the MAVs, which quarter

in Cincinnati. Keep in mind, Cincinnati has an absolute war
going on between their offensive and defensive players. This is
the Bengals running back Chase Brown. I'm just telling you
how bad this is right now in the Bengals offensive defense.
This is the Bengals running back mad at the defense

and Logan Wilson has not been starting for the Bengals defense.
It sucks, but you got to play to the last second.

moon of each month a different name, and that full
moon of each month represented something so.

You know, there are a couple theories that are out there,
but the most accepted one is that the full moon
of November.

Is the is when beavers are.

Their most active building their day, and it was also
their signal to set traps to collect fur for the winter,
to collect beaver fur.

Jess is Kevin here. Do you know what the difference
is in the beaver and the super beaver? Yeah, the
super beaver is larger, just by like ten percent. So
you know, most beaver moons not quite as big and bright,
but when it's a super beaver moon, the moon is
a little bit closer to the Earth, so it appears
a little bit bigger and brighter.

I feel like KT's KT's question was a lot like

I thought a lot about this, but I'm building an
explainer on the beaver moon. So are you all familiar
with how the moons go through fate? You know, they change,
they're either waning or waxing.

Correct. Are you familiar with all this?

Don't they impact our tides? They do? They do.

So leading up until this to this full moon, the
moon is waxing right up until we have a beaver
moon tonight. So we're going to do an explainer on
what the super beaver moon is. Beaver, beaver, beaver. I

Yeah, well, and then it starts to wane after that.
So yeah, it does get it, you know, it gets
a little bit of a break after that.

Oh So, for all of our DFW citizens who want
to see the super beaver moon, where would you say
is the landing strip or time period to really get
a good look at this thing?
