Ah. Yes, Happy Monday, everybody.

Speaker 7 (01:02):
It's the world famous Ben and Skin Show ninety seven
point one the Eagle. Thank you for tuning in today
and every day. Thank you for making us a part
of your daily routine. I'm Ben Rogers, joined by Jeff
skin Wade, Kevin kt Turner and Christina Carey. A little
baby corn bread ray. All hands on deck today and
it is a cowboy Monday. As the Cowboys got the
dub forty to thirty seven over the Giants in overtime

(01:26):
and one of the weirdest and most enjoyable games to
watch I can remember in recent history. That justifies paying
a kicker a lot of money, doesn't it. Yeah, I
mean give him the Supermax for kickers. I don't know
what it is, but like if you're that was the
first time in the history of the league that a
kicker hit a field goal to force overtime as the

(01:51):
clock expired and then walked it off with walked it
off with a field goal to win it as the
clock expiers, double clock expiration, regulation and overtime, And it's
one of those things where you're just strangely confident as
you see your kicker just standing around midfield and it
ain't no big deal. I mean, it is unbelievable, but

(02:13):
I remember there's been so many seasons like this, we
really have no idea of anything, Like so far, there's
been four halves and the defense has been good in
one and men have they been terrible and the other three.
But you don't know anything about the opponents. You think

(02:34):
you know the giant suck Russell Wilson was throwing dimes
till he wasn't and Billy was good for a half
and then they weren't. We'll see, but man, if we
end up five hundred, if all those games are that
much fun, that's a pretty good NFL season for me.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Uh okay, So yeah, you're right, six halves, four halves,
so six quarters also, but you didn't really get the
ball in the first quarter yesterday, so the offense they
they're behind a little bit because of the twenty one
play one hundred and ten yard drive.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
To start the game.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
This game yesterday was the bear of the NFL. It
was a drama. But in the award show at the
end of the year, will go up for best Comedy
Game of the Year because that's a lot of stupid
stuff that happened yesterday.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Incredibly twenty six.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
Penalties, but Shotty gets his first win and another tough
loss for Brian Banana bread day Ball. Oh my god,
that's such a good bit. Yeah it was.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
It was fun to watch, but it's it's very concerning
how bad the Cowboys defense is. Like Russell Wilson, they
were about to bench him for their rookie just because
it's he's so hopeless at this point and so bad
at quarterbacking at this point in his career, and he
threw for four hundred and fifty yards against the Cowboys.

(03:54):
And I don't know if it's ibra Flus and his
scheme is terrible. I don't know if there's just no
talent on the defensive side part of this. I want
to give eber flu some grace because it's like at
the last minute before the season started, they took away
his best player and they built the whole defense around. Okay,
we're gonna get pressure with just four because Mike is
either gonna do it by himself or he's gonna require

(04:16):
a triple team, which is gonna make other people be
able to get to the quarterback. And it just feels
like they're playing a ton of zone defense while also
not getting any pressure. Okay, I feel like we've talked
about this before, maybe not, so there's zero reason to
have digs on the field if you're gonna play zone defense,
right like he's I remember that even before he got hurt.

(04:39):
He's a man guy and he's just gonna chase somebody
around and he's gonna gamble, that's what he does. And
if you put him in his zone, he's just gonna
watch guys run around. I mean every one of those
big plays, he was somewhere in the frame watching a
guy run by him.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
It's insane.

Speaker 7 (04:54):
Well, he had a comment, I'm sorry to cut you
off there, Kat, This is from your guy, John Mashoda.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
He had a quote from Trayvon Diggs when asked how
much of an improved pass rush with the addition of
Judeveon Clowney, who Jerry announced after the game that they
are signing, how much could Jujavion Clowney help the secondary?

Speaker 6 (05:13):
He said, amazing, That's like a blessing.

Speaker 7 (05:16):
You need a pass rush, especially when you play a
lot of zone coverages. You need the pressure to get
back there. The more pressure, the more guys we can
get to, the more guys we can get to after
the quarterback, the better defensively.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
They need to do whatever they did in the second
half against the Eagles, And it's two different teams, two
different game plans. What they did in the second half
against the Eagles is they stopped playing all zone on
every single play and that's what they did. And maybe
it's a durn Bland thing because he got hurt and
you're like trying to scheme in around him. Being on,
but like, you gotta change some things at that point,

(05:50):
Like yesterday was very Uh, it was concerning because that
you would think, I know, it's just a second game too,
but you would think we're just at least not gonna
play all zone, Like I did not think that's what
we were signed up for with ebra Flus and so
far that's what we're doing.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
How do you get and also how do you let
that many fifty yard plays happen? Like I you know
it happens every now and then, but at some point,
if you are going to stay with what you're doing,
you go, Okay, you need to go fifteen yards back, dude,
like and they even talked about it. Olsham was talking
about it on the broadcast. All right, this is all
based on letting nobody somebody got behind him on every.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
Daing Don and Wilson. It cannot be. They're playing him
at free safety and he's he can't do that. In fact,
he had an interception. Can I play this for you guys? Yeah,
if you aren't texture the game the Cowboys little post
game party and Jerry's in the middle of it, okay, uh,
but at the very end, I'm gonna pay all of it.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
It's all pretty good.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
But at the very end of it, uh, they shout
out Donovan Wilson and even Shot He's kind of like
he don you know, let me see here you go
here it is.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Turn touchdown, yeah, touchdown, touchdown.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
It's kind of like a Tourette's guy is just kind
of yelling names, picking.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Dog out to wait for it. Who had a sack? James,
who's out sign? Jenny Clark had a sick hey?

Speaker 8 (07:12):
And this son we god man? This field goal kicker.

Speaker 9 (07:18):
Fifty one yard field goal, forty four yard field goal,
shikeley four yard fiel.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Wait in't over time with the walk off.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
And Jerry's in the middle of it. Sorry, I guess
I edited out to Donald Wilson part earlier. I was
worried about Jerry's safety being in the middle of it.
He's just because he's fragile. Yeah, you know, So why
did they bring all those Aggie yell leaders in there?
Strange that looked like the that sounded like the end
zone of an Aggie game.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Speaking of John, though John showed who you mentioned, did
say like I was gonna be very critical, but he
was being outside the locker room after that everyone was
just happy. Yeah, they're thrilled for their coach. And he's like, so,
I'm not gonna be too mad at him. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (08:00):
I mean, look, it's still so early. It's hard to
it's hard to use what we've seen so far to
project what's going to happen moving forward. But it does
seem like the defense is going to be a slaughterhouse,
Like it's going to be a real problem. It is
weird that they can't get pressure at all without Micah
Marshawn Neeland's second round pick, Donovan Ezeraku's second round pick,

(08:21):
Sam Williams second round pick. That's a lot of resources
built on being able to get to the quarterback.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
And Dante Fowler.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
They spent money on him as a free agent, and
so that was supposed to be the area of depth.
Yet they cannot pressure the quarterback with just four unless
it's Kenny Clark, who led the team with five pressures
yesterday as a defensive tackle. It's they're pretty damn good
up the middle. I mean, for now, at least with
their starters. All right, let's keep this conversation going. I

(08:51):
have another big cowboy question for you guys, and we'll
ask it net Ben in Skin Show ninety seven point one,
the Eagle coming up at the bottom of the hour.
In the Hollywood Shuffle, we'll talk about the Emmys last night.
Who was the big winner? The Cowboys were the big winner.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Man.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
They had a dramatic overtime win off the leg of
Brandon Aubrey. My god, what a bomber. He is just incredible. Okay,
where is the yard marker where you guys start feeling
like we're good with Brandon Aubrey. I mean, if he's
I mean that Kicky hit to send it in an
overtime would have been good from seventy I mean, if

(09:27):
he's looking at a sixty yard or any I mean,
I feel good. I I seriously think they're going to
get to a point where if it's fourth down and
they're at the forty five yard line, their own forty
five yard line, depending on how long the distance is,
you either kick a field goal or go for it

(09:48):
your own forty five yard line. That's basically a seventy
one yard field goal.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
Okay, I think I'm okay with it.

Speaker 6 (09:55):
I have. I wrote this down in my old notes
that I took yesterday. I was taking always taking notes
that would have been a seventy four yard field goal
attempt on their second possession in overtime.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Uh huh where it was fourth and five?

Speaker 6 (10:10):
Because uh, it was third nine and Dak through it
to Jalen Tolbert, so it's fourth and five. Why did
he wanted too much? Till your dad? Actually too much?

Speaker 7 (10:18):
Tilbert got hurt, but although in Turpen's gonna get hurt,
he's five to one, seventy five pounds, he deal got
but dude, one of the biggest catches of the day.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
So they it would have been a seventy four yarder,
and I was kind of going, it might be better, yeah,
to kick the field goal than to punt it back
to them. Now Again, I also didn't know that Russell Wilson,
who had a great four quarters, was gonna throw the
ball behind him on the first drive and then make
the dumbest pass ever to make don interception.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
Staff he was so bad at overtime.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, and that's like, that's the other things, like, okay,
some of those I'm glad we have DAK games.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
It was like, who would you like, it's very easy there.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
Clearly trust Wilson been like, Dak is not going to
do anything crazy stupid in overtime, you know, like that
that was nuts. The first drive they had, second three,
they were moving. They needed about twenty twenty five more
yards kick a field goal win the game, and Russell
threw it behind him. He threw it. They lost fourteen
yards on that place.

Speaker 10 (11:15):
He just threw it.

Speaker 7 (11:15):
Said, what happened was that I forgot that running back
from Arizona's Yeah damn scataboo Arizona State.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (11:21):
Yeah, he's going to be a fan favorite forever.

Speaker 6 (11:24):
Oh he is. He's so drunk when he plays. They asked, uh,
Shoddy after the game, how far Aubrey can kick it?

Speaker 11 (11:30):
Rejected, Yeah, Daniel, we would try it from seventy ish.
I mean, we've seen him make those before. He's always like, yeah,
I'm good. Dak's always like, oh, hey, what's the line
to make him? Like yeah, fifty ish, you know, yeah,
fifty ish. He's like, okay, that's like a sixty seven
seven yard field goal, Like that's cool. So there's really
not one, but the confidence that you see the guy
kick with is just incredible.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
So seventy is what they would try.

Speaker 7 (11:53):
But in overtime, if you miss, you're basically giving them
giving the field goal. Yeah, I mean they just bring
the kicking team out immediately on the first down. I mean,
with your with your defense being as bad as it
had been when it was your right when it was
fourth and five, I was like, why wouldn't we just
rock a seventy one yard field goal attempt right here?
Because it would have won it. They had already both

(12:14):
had possession.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Our friends on the Dumb Zone podcast they I think
they have Brandon Aubrey on every week, and he said
that he likes being iced. He's like it just gives
me like I'm fine, I'm pretty cool, and like, yeah,
kind of, let's the adrenaline build up a little bit
and that could help get a few more yards.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
I mean, he is so calm, he is, he is.
What did he just like trading crypto two years ago
to say where?

Speaker 6 (12:34):
I mean he was playing soccer and then you know
they read it straight off Wikipedia on the TV broadcast yesterday.
His wife saw I missed phild Gull and said you
could do that, honey.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
So then he got to work.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
And this is where John Fossil should get credit, because
John Fossil is the guy who you know, did advocate
for Brandon Aubrey worked out and he's very good. But yeah,
he had a software engineering degree. I think he was
just kind of working in some of the it stuff.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
It's unreal and to be the absolute best in the
league after just sitting around doing nothing. Doesn't Dak get
an assist on this too? Because Dak's best friend is
his kicking coach, I think, so absolutely had to help
him with the early workouts.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
You went there.

Speaker 7 (13:15):
Yeah, okay, I got another question for you guys. So
we were talking about this. There's only two games into
the season. You see certain things. Think are trends?

Speaker 6 (13:23):
All right?

Speaker 7 (13:24):
Do we are we confident that there will be at
least one shockingly costly penalty from Pickens in every game?

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (13:33):
I mean what I thought? He kind of got screwed
on that pass interference. That did not look bad to me.
I was not passive for sure. That was one of
the things though, where it's like you arrive on the
scene of the crime and the criminal is holding a
bag of money even though it's his, like arrest him
because he's been guilty so many times, but it does
it does feel like he's destined every game to do.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Something to make us go.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
Smith kept saying that like he's the guy in the huddle.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
He's like, come on, guys, we got this pickens. Keep going.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Yeah, it sounds like he's like very positive.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Okay, you never see it. Good, that's good. All right.

Speaker 7 (14:02):
Coming up next, let's get away from the cowboys for
just a bit. We'll get back into him coming up
at four o'clock and then again at five o'clock. But
coming up next, let's turn our attention to the Emmys,
which took place last night. We'll discuss it all next.

Speaker 8 (14:17):
Juicy news HOI gods, every come, stay on the top
in the woods.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
Shove all right. So this segment is brought to you
by the Good Guys Car Show. Hey, the thirty second
Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals is happening September twenty sixth
through the twenty eighth. You can go get your tickets
at Texas Motorspeedway dot com. Good time of year to
be out of Texas Motor Speedway. Late September Emmys were

(14:49):
last night on CBS. They opened the show. Your host
is Nate Bargatzi. They opened the show with three sn
L dudes, mikey Day Bowen Yang and James Austin Johnson
kind of recreating the George Washington sketch. If you don't
know what the George Washington sketch is, it was on
SML last couple of years. Conan O'Brien is called it
the greatest comedy sketch of all time, and so it

(15:09):
should be in the Smithsonian.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (15:12):
So they kind of did a play on that, except
Nate bargatzi is instead of George Washington. He's like the
inventor of TV. So here's the first part of that.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
I dreamed that one day there will be a channel
for every interest, a Travel Channel for travel, the Food
Network for food, in the History Channel for history. No aliens.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
There won't be history on the History Channel, sir.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
No, just as there will be no learning on the
Learning Channel.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Then will be on the Learning Channel borders, people.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Eat, couch cushions, doctor Pipple Popper, all our fun stuff.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
Television will have something for everyone, Yes.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
For people of every culture.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Networks like Telemundo for Spanish speakers and BT black entertainment television.

Speaker 6 (16:01):
Will there be a network for white people, sir?

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Why CBS of course, yes, the Caucasian Broadcast System.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
Yeah, I guess so.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Yeah, and will there be a network for Asian people?

Speaker 10 (16:15):
Sir?

Speaker 3 (16:17):
What's that you asked about streaming?

Speaker 6 (16:22):
It was good. It's a good way to start.

Speaker 7 (16:24):
Yeah, that's a great way to start. And dude, are
you gonna play more of it? Okay, I've got a
little more of that day.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
One day I dreamed there will be so many shows
we have to invent another type of TV called streaming.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
What is streaming, sir?

Speaker 3 (16:37):
A new way for companies to lose money. These streamers
will make their own shows and create their own stars.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Who will these stars be murderers?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Real life murderers mostly?

Speaker 12 (16:51):
Who would watch shows about murderers for entertainment?

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Your wife, my wife, everyone's wife. And that is why
we will pay the streaming subscription feesh. I see with streaming,
the viewer pays the fee, so there are no ads.
If it only were so simple, you pay the fee,
and there are.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Asss that seems unfair to the customer.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
Okay, get out really yeah, we don't say that out loud.
He's crazy.

Speaker 7 (17:29):
Yeah, man, I thought that was a great start. And uh,
and then obviously he had his bit about keeping this
speech is short.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
Yeah, this has been a little controversial. I'll actually play
the idea of him setting it up, But basically is
he donated one hundred thousand dollars to the Boys and
Girls Club of America and then gave forty five seconds
for speeches. And I think, Okay, it's weird because this
became this kind of overshadowed the whole night. Yeah, I

(17:58):
felt like they might have could have extended it to
sixty seconds or something, because there was a point where
all I can think about all night is my God,
all these winners just have to go thank their bosses.
Oh no, And it got a little strange. But here's
the setup. The setup's funny, and it was good for
the first hour, and that it's kind of like, I
kind of wish you would go away.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Everybody gets forty five seconds it honestly, give your speech.
I know how hard you guys have all worked to
get here. I'm not trying to take anything away. Forty
five seconds. That's what you got. And if you want
to do more than that, do it on social media later.
That's more people are going to see it there anyway.
So I am going to donate one hundred thousand dollars
to the Boys and Girls Club of America. Yeah, remember that,

(18:39):
Remember how fun that was, Because this part is hard
to say. If you stay at forty five seconds, it.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Stays at one hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Every second you go over forty five seconds, we will
adduct one thousand dollars away from the Boys and Girls.
I know that's tough, can't change it. This is a
game I'm made up and.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
These are the rules.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
So if you go under, we will.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Put one thousand dollars a second back on for the
Boys and Girls Club of America.

Speaker 6 (19:07):
So after that opening sketch, then they gave away the
award for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Seth
Rogan won, and Seth Rogan's speech was very quick. It
was thirty nine seconds, so like they were like, okay,
so he didn't know about it, but so it bumped
up to one hundred and six thousand dollars. But as
the night goes on, they lost all that money because
everyone was going over their time on the speeches. So

(19:28):
I've got a little bit more about how some of
the comedy people handled this, plus the winners and the
craziest f and voice you've ever heard in your life.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
But Kevin, keep cranking on them, Emmy.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
Well, yeah, before we play some more audio, let's talk
about the actual winners last night. The winner of Best
Comedy went to the Studio, which, hey, I think deserving
its own right. But you are seeing a lot Hollywood
likes to watch itself. It's maybe part of it. Yeah,
But of all the shows there, and I've seen most
of all the shows on the comedies there, I was like,

(20:00):
that was by far my favorite one, although I had
quit on Hacks, so I might need to get back
to that. The Best Drama was really going to come
down to Severance and The Pit and the Pit one.
I think this was seen as a bit of an upset.
Noah Wiley won for Best Actor and in Drama too,
so that's got me going, I guess I need to
go watch The Pit. Yes, you do so good. I

(20:21):
know you guys tried to warn me, but uh, you know,
I don't want to do sad shows.

Speaker 12 (20:25):
Well it's not that sad, but it's also I think
it's easier to understand than Severn, So maybe that's why.

Speaker 6 (20:31):
Oh yeah, that's a good point. Your other big winner
of the night was Adolescents for like the limited series category.
You know, it's like the one season show. And you know,
I just don't have a lot of interest in seeing
a show about a thirteen year old kid murders someone
and how does the family deal with it?

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Did you did you watch it?

Speaker 7 (20:48):
Ben?

Speaker 8 (20:48):
No?

Speaker 6 (20:49):
Too heavy.

Speaker 7 (20:49):
Everybody I know that like has a kid is like, yeah,
I mean you got to watch this. Now you'll cry
the entire time, but you have to watch it. And
I'm like, Okay, where do I schedule that?

Speaker 6 (20:58):
And everyone ever episode it's like forty five fifty minutes
is one take it So it's a woner. Yeah that's sound.

Speaker 7 (21:05):
That seems really cool the way they did it, And man,
I'm glad it's a great show. I have no interest
in being sad for an hour. The kid won Best
Actor in a Limited Series two.

Speaker 6 (21:15):
How old They're great? Speech? Heky's thirteen in the show.
He's fifteen now he's probably thirteen when they were shooting it. Yeah,
his speech was so sweet. Sidney Sweety was the presenter.
He went up there and got to hug you, motor butter.

Speaker 12 (21:26):
She bounced up to the microphone, didn't she She didn't
my she was wearing jeans.

Speaker 6 (21:31):
It's crazy And one of her eyes is going no.

Speaker 12 (21:34):
Bergatzi was wearing an old jean suit before she came
up there.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
That was pretty funny. They kind of quick hit it, yeah,
like yeah, they don't want to dive in. So there's
a comedian lady, and I've seen her on like John
Mulaney's show. Her name is Leanne Morgan. She's got some
show on Netflix. She's got the craziest f and voice
I've ever heard mine. I know nothing about this woman
except I saw her on John Mulaney once and I
was like, what is her voice? I thought this was fake.

Speaker 7 (21:58):
I thought it was.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
How she talks.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
It's crazy, just what everybody thought.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
You know, they can't understand what I'm saying. I thought,
you know what, let's bring out someone in has a
thicker Tennessee accent than mine from the Netflix sitcom Leanne.
Please welcome, my dear friend, Leanne Morgan.

Speaker 13 (22:14):
Y'all are just as beautiful as I thought. Y'all were
gonna bay everybody. Hedro Piscal look, gee my darling, Oh
my gosh, I've been banked there and everybody's so disciplined
and tiny.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Walton Goggins, I could not get my toe in his pants.
Can I pull y'all in for a chiat?

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (22:35):
That's funny you think about it. She's saying her feet
are bigger than lags.

Speaker 13 (22:41):
Walton Goggins, I could not get my toe in his pants.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
Can I pull y'all in for a chiat?

Speaker 4 (22:47):
That's okay. That's the craziest voice.

Speaker 7 (22:49):
There was a show that's probably eighties called Mama's Family,
and it was a spinoff for characters on the Carol
Burnett Show. And that voice reminds me of people on
Mama's Family.

Speaker 6 (23:01):
Mar Pescal, this is insane. Okay. So here's the studio.
They want to again for some riding award and this
is again if the money if you go over forty
five seconds, you're taking away one thousand dollars per second
from the Boys and Girls Club of America. We would
like to thank Seth.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
And our amazing casting crew, Apple and Lionsgate. Pay up, Nate,
they go.

Speaker 6 (23:28):
They got out in like eight seconds, so that would
have been thirty seven thousand dollars that Nate Bargatzi's got
to give to the Boys and Girls Club of America.
So it's funny. If you're playing the game, it's not
fun when the boring people go up there and just
go on and on, and they put the little timer
up there and it's showing the money.

Speaker 12 (23:46):
When the money's going down.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
Yeah, so this is the point of the night where
they are down twenty six thousand dollars. So uh, let's
see here, all right. Yeah, so someone from Adolesca just
gave a speech. So they're down twenty six thousand dollars.
Some date handled it, all right.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
It's been great for me because I honestly, I.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Think I've made money.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
What is it at.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Yeah, that's tough, and the kids are going to take it.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
So it's brutal.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Steven Gobert, I mean he was happy, but you know,
he doesn't have a job, and it's you know, like
it's just tough.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
All right.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
It wasn't night. Colbert went way over. Oh and it
was like a big deal because he won for me
series and he's getting canceled in a few months.

Speaker 7 (24:34):
He said, they said something like it's he said, it's
ironic that the guys from adolescents are taking money away
from adolescents.

Speaker 12 (24:43):
It's really good.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (24:45):
So by the end of it, they're like way down
and he had to do something.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Thanks to everyone here.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
The number, you know, I'll be honest with you, it
was embarrassing. It went way down, and you know, I
don't know, I can't imagine ever doing this again. I'm
gonna sea Beast is gonna add one hundred thousand dollars.
I will give two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. It
takes us to three hundred fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (25:07):
And the Boys and Girls Club, you guys so.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Much so that makes it right.

Speaker 12 (25:11):
We knew he was gonna do that the whole time, right,
so people shouldn't be upset.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
And I figured actors that went over would throw.

Speaker 6 (25:17):
In and yeah, I do like the I like, look,
do your speech, like your long speech. But it's just
these people are so unreasonable and they have no self
awareness that one or two or three of them will
go on and on and on, and you got you
have to have some type of guardrail. But forty five
seconds seemed like a little yeah, especially when some of

(25:39):
the other bits are dragging on.

Speaker 7 (25:40):
Yeah a little bit, You're like, hey, why are there
any pressure to make this go a little bit fatter?

Speaker 6 (25:44):
Jennifer Coolidge waddles out there and goes on and on
and has no punchline to any of it, and I
was like, what.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Do you do?

Speaker 7 (25:51):
Yeah, Emmy's it was awesome, fantastic. I did think that
the penguin got snubbed, though, I'm surprised they didn't win.

Speaker 6 (25:59):
Yeah, which was awesome. I want to hang out with her.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
She was like, I love acting.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
Yeah, but just the penguin of a makeup dude.

Speaker 6 (26:07):
I mean, it's it's it's crazy that that's callin Ferrell.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
All right, coming up next, we'll get back into the
Cowboys big win over the Giants right here on the Eagle.

Speaker 11 (26:17):
Around the sports KTD quints as all the sports.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Y Yeah, thank you. I want to start here with
the game's first drive because the Giants have the ball
and they have a left tackle in the game named
James Hudson who was playing for the starting left tackle
who was hurt.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
So James Hudson is the backup.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
He's in there. You're thinking, okay, we'll take advantage of that.
And the guy had a mental breakdown during the game.
He threw a haymaker, had a pass rusher, then he
had another personal foul when he sat on a guy
in prone bone position and just kind of and then
he had a false start and there was something else.
He had four penalties. And it says so much about

(27:03):
the Giants and their head coach, mister Banana Bread, because
he is telling the coaches on the sideline, get him out.
He mouths it, get him out. And you look out
there and James.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
Hudson is still playing. How does this guy have no
power at all?

Speaker 6 (27:18):
And then they put the third stringer in there and
we still kind of couldn't take advantage of it. That
was a little concerning. But the first drive for them, sorry,
it took nine minutes and it was twenty one plays
at one hundred and ten yards of the tribe because
they kept getting penalties. Yeah, I saw.

Speaker 7 (27:30):
I was like looking at like Russell Wilson's passing yardage,
Like on the first drive it was like ninety five
yards and they were still like at the thirty. But yeah, dude,
how is it possible that you can't get pressure when
there's a third team offensive tackle in the game.

Speaker 6 (27:45):
Okay, So I touched a little bit last week about
Micah and how he's elevated all of the other Green
Bay players, and I think what I've forgot to really
think about is how much taking Micah away does kind
of subtract the impact that guys like Dante Fowler can
have or Sam Williams right, or the rest of the defense.

(28:07):
Because I think we're seeing that like that, and you're
seeing it immediately with Green Bay. I know they had
a good pass rush already, but man, that just it
looks amazing. They're every player is explosive.

Speaker 7 (28:19):
And violent and just flies by, and it's like, that's
such a but that happened we made some million years ago.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
But that's what happened when we brought Charles Haley in here.

Speaker 7 (28:27):
It's like, you, like we were just talking about all
there's supposed to be a position of depth. Marshawn Neeland,
Donovan Ezeraku, Dante Fowler, and Sam Williams. Those guys are
are good if you don't have to think about them
at all, and you've got two or three guys focused
on Micah. But if you're just like, oh, yeah, we
got to make sure we stop Marshawn Neeland, it's like, yeah, okay,

(28:49):
that's not.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Gonna be hard.

Speaker 7 (28:50):
Like they they're gonna have to change their entire scheme
in philosophy because they can't get pressure bringing four and
they're not good as his zone defense.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Yeah, so Jadeveon Clowney is signed. In fact, let me
play this for you, because here's Jerry after the game,
just kind of casually mentioning it.

Speaker 9 (29:10):
Well, we just signed of while we were here today.
We just signed another pass rusher. But we're playing it
pretty straight. We're rushing forward.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
We'll have an.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
Announcement on that.

Speaker 9 (29:20):
We signed him right during the game, but before the game.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
And yeah, completed the Clowny deal.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
It's been completed.

Speaker 9 (29:27):
Yes, okay, Well he'll add some uh has been an
outstanding player and he'll had some real depth.

Speaker 6 (29:33):
Okay, okay, hold on.

Speaker 7 (29:35):
I want to say something that's very disappointing that we
have Jerry Audio talking about the signing of Jadeveon Clowney
and we do not get to hear that man say
his name because there is no telling how he would
have pronounced that first name. What a letting Jadevior. I

(29:55):
was on the edge of my sea, going, how's he
going to say it? How's he going to say it?
And he called him pass rush of cour Well, we
love Josephine Clowney. He'll be good for us.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
So basically, Clowney comes in, the Cowboys offer peanuts. You know,
maybe they offered him some peanuts, and then you know,
the game's happening in the second quarter. It's very clear,
Ruggy Fast, rus Steven here's agent on the Yeah, and

(30:25):
then they call Clowney and the deal's done.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
During the game, We'll give you what you wanted, we needed.

Speaker 7 (30:31):
That has to be exactly what happened is because during
the game, we're Wednesday, what are you doing? We're all
watching that going, Wow, they can't get any pressure. And
now Russell Wilson looks like it's a decade earlier. Yeah, yeah,
it's it's tough. It's a tough thing. Really that that's
how it is.

Speaker 6 (30:48):
And hold on like Clownie's in shape and ready to
play next week.

Speaker 7 (30:51):
There's no way he is. I still cannot get over
that one throw that Russell Wilson made after that that game,
he had I mean pretty much low the game, like
he almost won him the game. I mean they got
the ball back with fifty four seconds, He's like, no problem, touchdown,
like the whole game, and then at the end he
makes that throw. What happened terrible? That's not like, and

(31:15):
it's not like, you know, he's a rookie who checks
in and falls down in the backfield.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
What were they doing with that? Was that throwing the game?

Speaker 6 (31:22):
I don't know, man, that's it's very strange. He's not
going to throw the game. They have also like are
you just feeling himself? Gill of confident?

Speaker 7 (31:30):
But no, no, no, I'm talking the rookie quarterback, like, oh,
why do you put him in for three running plays
that are pretty much all the same? Everyone knows what's
gonna happen eventually? And did you see how big his
chain was? Yeah, I don't know why he was wearing
that chain. I've seen Justin Jefferson wear a chain like that.
I don't know that I've ever seen a quarterback do that.
I think it's kind of like the old Donald Hodge
story where he was wearing shel to Adidas. I don't

(31:52):
think that the quarterback thought he was going to get
in the game. And he's like, wait, really, y'all are
gonna let me go do those running plays? Wait it's
the fourth quarter. Are you sure he was okay? And
he didn't have time to take his giant chain off.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Well, I'll tell you what It worked though, because no
one tried to tackle the running back when he went
in the game. That's true. One play.

Speaker 7 (32:09):
All right, there you have it a little more Cowboys Giants,
where are you gonna take us next?

Speaker 6 (32:14):
Well, I think we should talk about something that's going
on with Jadae ViOn Clowney and the Cowboys pass rush
and is shoddy to blame for what's wrong with the defense.
All Right, we'll do that next.

Speaker 7 (32:24):
Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point one the Egle
right before the Today game. That might be the sweet
spot for you to have a chance to win some
Ranger tickets. You gotta be listening. Not only do we
not podcast that segment, but there's gonna be some action there.
You're gonna want to pay attention. All right, we're talking
little Dallas Cowboys football. They did win in overtime off
of bomb field goal and KT has more.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
Okay, So the defense though, is something that everyone's talking about,
and it is like weird. Week one you win and
kind of feel I mean Week one to the Eagles
you lose, I kind of feel okay about it. Yeah,
and then week till you win and you kind of
feel bad about it. It's all right, we'll see how
we do against the Bears next week. But Ryan Schttenheimer's
gotten a lot of credit for what he's done on
offense with hiring some people who were kind of coaches

(33:09):
who were up and coming. You're kind of promoting some
of these coaches. Clayton Adams is your offensive coordinator. He
was a running backs coach. Okay, that's a big promotion
offensive coordinator kind of like what he's doing there. So
like there's a few things that are like very interesting
and shot he was. He talked about all this stuff,
so who knows, it's his angle here, but he spends
a lot of time calling around, keeping in touch with

(33:32):
coaches and paying attention to coaches who might, you know,
make a jump on defense. I do wonder how much
say he had in Matti Ebraflus. And I'm not going
to kill Matti ebraflush yet because it's two games whatever.
With your starting corner hurt and you're just not all
there yet and traded your best player right before the
season started. That's not on Eberflu's Ibraflus is probably planning

(33:54):
to have a defense with Micah, you know. And I
do wonder though, because Eberflus is in house or was
in house for a long time before he went off
to the Colts and the Bear So I did a
little research. What did Colts fans when he say when
he was a defensive coordinator? Bears fans will have nothing
good to say because he was the head coach and
they didn't win a lot of games. But one play

(34:15):
people keep talking about is yesterday from yesterday, you know,
the bombs and all. That was the hell mary in
the Bears game last year against Washington where oh, he
gets a free run to the end zone and I
don't know, like, I don't think you can judge him
off that. But with the Colts, all their fans are
basically saying, yeah, Ben, don't break. He'll give up a
lot of yards to like quarterbacks that you're not expecting,

(34:39):
a lot of zone, a lot of like easy completions,
and man, we are seeing that. And I don't know,
he came up in the Monte Kiffin, Rod Marinelli, you
know ideals that the you know, like he lived that life,
although I think he was, like I think he also
was kind of around for like, well how long even
Rods was here for a long long time. Yeah, I

(35:00):
mean I recall Bill Parcell's talking about him for some reason.
Am I drunk?

Speaker 7 (35:05):
I don't know, I don't remember. I mean, he was
a linebackers coach here initially, right, it feels like a
long time ago. But man, I feel like I almost
I remember that, But I don't know.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
I don't.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
I don't know if it's if it's scheme or personnel
or both. But it certainly feels like he's not playing
the right strategy for what he has to work with.
Like they just can't get pressure with four. They don't
seem to be made for zone. We were talking about
Trayvon Diggs. He's better than man. Like, you know, is
it do you do you come up with a scheme

(35:35):
for your personnel or do you just come up with
a scheme and try to make your personnel fit it.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
I don't know. I was.

Speaker 7 (35:39):
I was jotting down what I thought the Cowboys needs
are in the draft. I like to do this sporadically,
and it's way early, but here's what I have for
the Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (35:47):
Top needs.

Speaker 7 (35:48):
Number one edge rusher, Like, even though they've drafted three
edge rushers in the second round, that's.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
Now a top priority.

Speaker 7 (35:55):
How do they get an edge rusher who can get
to the quarterback to safety. I mean, especially after that
game three, Like you got two defensive tackles, but you've
got one of them who's going to be thirty, right
in his thirties, and defensive tackle probably steal somebody better
in that rotation. Cornerback, you definitely need a And I'm like, okay, wait,

(36:17):
that's like the whole defense. And so on one hand,
you're like, Okay, all of their needs are every position
defensively except I feel like Clark, I feel like it
could change, but I feel like you should scribble down
linebacker two. I know we're gonna get overshown back, but
right I felt like the last couple of years we
were better at safety than we've been in the previous
two decades since Woody was back there.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
But and I don't know, man, it's like you louse.

Speaker 7 (36:45):
Deron Blands one of their at least he's paid like
one of their best defensive players.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Oh he is.

Speaker 7 (36:50):
So that probably had a little bit to do with
what they were doing yesterday.

Speaker 6 (36:54):
They talked about like, hey, we're gonna getjan Ye Thomas
playing time at free safety. Dude, they're putting Don and
Wilson back at safety. He is not that he cannot
do that that is going to get you killed. This
is another thing too, Every time that they've shown us
that they're willing to jump out and like put some
people near the line and throw a blitz in there.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
It's worked. Now it's two small sample sides, but it's worked.

Speaker 6 (37:17):
So it's like, just stop doing the thing that you're
doing and getting killed on for a minute, just stop it.

Speaker 7 (37:22):
I think the thing that's it's I think the thing
that's so frustrating about it is when you watch the replay,
it looks like they don't either they're not they're not
invested in it. I'm talking about the players, and like
like in the case of Diggs, I watch that and
I think that looks like a guy who's not invested
in playing the scheme or they're they don't understand the

(37:44):
scheme and they don't know each other's responsibilities. Like I know,
I know, but like those mistakes that happen over and
over are so jarring that what what are you supposed
to deduce out of that?

Speaker 6 (37:56):
Uh, maybe if free safety fixes all of it. So
that's a seriously like that's that's my end. It's that,
and I think a pass rush great, But as Jerry said,
we were just rushing for like they're saying it.

Speaker 7 (38:10):
Okay, two weeks ago, when you traded Micah, you said
you're gonna scheme up a pass rush, so Steven wanted
to schem that up. I don't think eber Flus sounds
like everyone's holding their winger in the corner. Yeah, all right,
we'll get back into Cowboys giants coming up in the
five o'clock hour. But coming up next Skin, we're gonna
take some things. Skin is tracking.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
Man.

Speaker 7 (38:30):
I can't believe I watched five minutes of this last.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Night, another edition of things.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
You guys go to sleep with the TV on?

Speaker 6 (38:45):
I can't. I can't go to sleep with the TV on,
not at all.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
It's got to be off.

Speaker 6 (38:49):
It's gotta be off. Oh dark.

Speaker 7 (38:50):
If it's on, I'm awake and I'm watching it and
I can't go to sleep. Okay, I mean I kind
of experience that, but I also like, I don't know,
I like putting it on. You usually on some sort
of news program where there's droning going on, and I can.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
Fall asleep in a couple of minutes.

Speaker 7 (39:05):
It's I don't know that kind of sound, but you know,
there is the moment where you're flipping around, you're tired,
probably it's way too late, and you're like, all right,
let's just see what's on. It may be different for
young people because none of them have cable anymore and
they have to jump in and out of apps to
get anything. Right.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
Yeah, yeah, okay.

Speaker 7 (39:28):
For me and Ben, I'm assuming you still have your
same setup flipping around a guide And I don't know
what channel of ESPN it was, and I don't know
what time it was. I think it was after one
am last night, after I know, and I settled on something.
I was like, what is this and it actually in

(39:49):
the background it said the OCHO.

Speaker 6 (39:51):
Oh yeah, hell yeah, okay, that's real. Oh yeah, the
OCHO is great.

Speaker 7 (39:55):
There is an ocho. Oh yeah, ESPN the O show.
I think I'm I'm assuming there. They're doing a bit
based on Dodgeball obviously, and they kind of like for
certain programming, there's not an actual yes, they.

Speaker 6 (40:08):
Like chadow Chow yeah, it's certain of yeah, yeah, but
they let Chatto Cho Cinco program some of this stuff.

Speaker 7 (40:14):
So I'm watching it and I'm like, are they playing kickball. No, dude, dog,
come on, this is good stuff. Great Grizzlies versus Panthers
last night and the Kickball Invitational.

Speaker 12 (40:28):
Uh huh.

Speaker 7 (40:29):
And man, here's what's amazing about it. So you're you're
watching it going, okay, this was organized. There's drone shots,
there's two teams, they all have matching jerseys, and it
definitely looks like co ed softball at the village. I mean,
there's all kinds of different people with different backgrounds. And

(40:52):
the thing that caught my eye is the guy who
was I guess you call him a pitcher in kickball. Yeah, sure,
number sixty nine. Yeah, he's wearing a headman, he's about
three twenty. His style of fire in that ball up there.
And here's the thing I don't know. I haven't played
kickball since I was a kid, so I don't really

(41:14):
know the rules. But there's a lot of kick bunting
going on.

Speaker 6 (41:20):
Oh like, take advantage of the big gun pit mount
can fairly touch it.

Speaker 7 (41:24):
You've clearly I hear you over there. You sound like
an aficionado.

Speaker 12 (41:28):
Well, I wouldn't say aficionada, but we watched it not
too long ago. Micha will randomly put it on it.
This was the same channel where I saw them throwing
a football on a roof and it was a competition
like it was like you said, they were like drone shots,
like it was professionally done and I couldn't believe what
I was watching. But yes, we have watched kickball, like
multiple times to where you just said, like you can
tell that they're kind of joking, but they are taking

(41:50):
it seriously. It's kind of like Savannah Bananas, you know. Yeah,
they always have something going on. You're like, I can't
believe football. I mean, kickball is on my TV right now.

Speaker 7 (41:59):
I've seen professional whiffle ball and I have seen that
roofball game yep, And it does remind me of where
the South Park guys would they do base case BASEketball.
I would watch kickball. That sounds like fun. Can you
imagine how good Brandon Aubrey would be at that?

Speaker 1 (42:15):
Well?

Speaker 4 (42:15):
God, maybe is there no home runs? No, there's home runs.

Speaker 7 (42:18):
But it's also like a lot of side spin on
the ball, which is why I think so many people
are bunt kicking.

Speaker 6 (42:25):
I don't know what are the rules? Can you throw
it as fast as you want?

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (42:28):
I mean, and there's have to bounce. There are people
take Okay, one ball bounced there. Oh he bounced that
one in there. Okay, so there's play by play in color.

Speaker 6 (42:37):
Yeah, it's great.

Speaker 7 (42:38):
Don't know who these people are, and I don't know
at what point in the game. I mean, I felt
like the broadcast had been on for ten minutes. And
I don't know how many kickball broadcasts it happened before.
But at one point he was like, and I don't
remember what the guy's name. He's like, why don't you
explain to everybody what that dotted line triangle is in there?
And so there's a dotted line triangle and nobody can

(43:00):
run into the zone until the ball touches the foot.
And I'm like, I guess anybody that watches or plays
kickball would understand. That's like going, hey, explain what that
three point line is out there for everybody just watching
this game. So they're trying to I mean, they weren't
making jokes. They were trying to sound like a legitimate broadcast.

(43:20):
But after about five minutes of action, I was like, man,
this is not entertaining.

Speaker 6 (43:25):
I don't hold your attention. That's the thing about the OCHO,
is it catch. It catches your attention for a minute, right,
and it's it's made for the phone. You know, you're
you're scrolling through it. That's nothing made for that. They
had corgy races one night though, Oh beautiful. These idiots
get so close to the end and the now stuff
to look around and that can fetch from behind. They're
all so cute.

Speaker 9 (43:45):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (43:45):
One time on the show they did the Microsoft Excel Challenge.
It's a bunch of nerds and they're doing spreadsheets. Great
watch it? Yeah, no, they got me going. How long
did you watch it? Probably two or three minutes.

Speaker 7 (43:58):
Because yeah, that's that's the thing. And I was watching
this until my wife was like, what are you watching?
And I go, I have no idea why I'm watching
this right, And you.

Speaker 6 (44:08):
Know what they did? They did, you know, this is crazy.
The Papa Shot challenge. And you know who is like
a legend.

Speaker 7 (44:15):
There was a guy here that played college basketball at
Texas Tech that was about a decade older than me.

Speaker 4 (44:20):
That was the chant forever.

Speaker 6 (44:22):
Former Cowboys quarterback Brad Johnson really like backboard. I know
a lot of people go backboard. Oh I don't. I'd
like to find out he's got a resume that, like,
that's what he does now for money?

Speaker 7 (44:35):
Let's get him on the show. It's crazy, my god. Anyways,
kicks all right, kickball? What would you have rather had
him watching last night? Because you have obsession? Is the
one watching at one am when I'm tired?

Speaker 6 (44:46):
Dude? Come on, all right, there you have it. Things
skin is tracking.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
Come on, surprise, all right.

Speaker 6 (45:08):
We talked about a lot of things in this game.
There's a couple of things that we should discuss.

Speaker 7 (45:12):
Now.

Speaker 6 (45:12):
We have learned that the starting center, Cooper Beebe, will
be out six to eight weeks. Oh yeah, so it's
a brock Kaufman time. Brock Kaufman, get the brock lobster
in there. It didn't go well when they fumbled a
snap yesterday. I hate to see that. And a key
moment too.

Speaker 7 (45:29):
I didn't really notice him because I was too busy
watching Terrence Steele's head get pushed off on every snap.

Speaker 6 (45:35):
Yeah, dude, I'm still in a bad day.

Speaker 7 (45:37):
God, he's such a great guy. I wish he was badass,
but uh, it's both tackles struggled Like it's that that's
where their issues are.

Speaker 6 (45:46):
That's the best outside of Green Bay. In two weeks.
That's the best defensive line they'll play all year, and
it's I don't even think it's close.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
The Giants are very good there.

Speaker 7 (45:55):
I didn't know that going in, but I was sitting
there watching that, going, Okay, are these guys badassors?

Speaker 6 (45:59):
Are until like top ten picks? Just you know, they're
they're really good there at the defensive line. So that's
I'm going to kind of write that one off. I'm
gonna write that one off. He's still got ninety seven
rush yards against something not terrible five yards of carry.

Speaker 7 (46:14):
Oh yeah, dude. Uh, Javonte Williams looked great. Yeah, good question.
But I do think, you know, as I was talking
about making a list of their needs, I wonder how
big left tackle and right tackle is for them as
a need. I think it has to be I mean,
I mean one of them. Yeah, for sure. It's it's
very possible that Mazzi is a bust. Looks like he
is a bust and Tyler guy or uh what's the

(46:35):
name one? Yeah, Geyiton might be a bust as well.

Speaker 6 (46:38):
They might be talking about Nate Thomas playing for Terrence
Still at some point soon. But yeah, I mean, Guiden.

Speaker 7 (46:43):
Still will work through it, you know, and all that stuff.
But I felt like Geyton was pretty good last week.
But Manny, he had some moments that were bad yesterday. Again,
I guess the Giants, you're going to have moments like that.
And I think that's why Dak was like throwing it
to the running backs quite a bit yesterday too, or
like kind of getting rid of the ball stocked. But
and look at him yesterday. This great interception was sucked.
But and look at him in the clutch. He was

(47:05):
incredible down the stretch and in overtime and then you know,
he ran the ball or you know, seventeen yards, which
was great. And he was talking after the game and
he was like, he goes. I wasn't he goes last year.
I had gotten so far away from running and then
I told myself, Yeah, I need to get back out
there and run more. And the first time he did,
his hamstring came off of his body and he's like,

(47:26):
this time, I'm ready to run.

Speaker 6 (47:27):
I'm like, what is so weird? Because it was the
week after the stat came out that Joe Flacco had
more rushing yards than him. Yeah, and Joe Flacco is
a statue.

Speaker 7 (47:36):
It is insane that in twenty twenty five, I can
turn on my TV on a Sunday night and watch
Joe Flacco through an interception.

Speaker 6 (47:45):
What in the hell, dude, it's crazy. That's the Browns though.

Speaker 7 (47:50):
I think he was a senior when I was a
sophomore in high school. By the way, Joe Burrow broke
his toe on the year, probably, Yeah, he's he's gonna
be out for the year at least three months.

Speaker 6 (48:01):
Right, that'll do it. That'll do it.

Speaker 4 (48:03):
I'd say, that'll do it.

Speaker 7 (48:04):
Is there anybody on their team that we'd be interested
in going to get? They have an edge rusher that
they haven't paid, right, I got unhappy h Ed Rusher. Yeah,
Trey Hendrickson. Yeah, but we just used all that money
that we were gonna pay Mike Get to pay a
bunch of other guys.

Speaker 6 (48:21):
Yeah, we're gonna give Brandon Aubrey at least sixty a year, right,
he needs the highest paid player in sport.

Speaker 7 (48:26):
You know what, though, we have a whole plethora of
Green Bay Packer first round pick.

Speaker 6 (48:30):
So oh you did, right? Hey man? Do you use
all those and Jerry's already said their five players that's
what they are. So can I play this? This is
shoddy on the running game because Giavonte Williams did have
a decent day, but it really talks about Tyler Booker,
and I think this will make you feel better. Even
after I delivered the bad Cooper B B news, you know,
we weren't very pleased with a run game.

Speaker 11 (48:51):
We challenged him at halftime, called out a couple of
the guys, and Tyler Booker took exception, which is great.
I love that kid man. He just loves to play football.
He loves push people. So when Javonte had the touchdown,
he came over and with a little expletive, said how
do you like that?

Speaker 6 (49:06):
And I was like, I like it a lot. Let's
go do it again.

Speaker 7 (49:11):
That's an awesome explanation of that situation. Like, I love
the way shot he delivered it. I love that it happened.
You're right, that does make me smile. Yeah, And you know,
we heard from somebody who was down there on the
sideline in a preseason game about how shot he was
basically killing Jaden Blue yeah, and calling him an a
hole and asking him, you know, basically saying he's an idiot.

(49:32):
And it sounds like he's not scared like he's he
is a different guy. When he's getting in there in
the battle with the players, he'll get in their face
and get loud. I mean when you hear him doing
his press conference, like this is the nicest, most likable
guy ever. But I like that he's like that.

Speaker 6 (49:45):
I'm glad you took it there because coming up next,
it was Shoty's first win, and I think his postgame
press conference was very interesting. It involves snakes and more.

Speaker 7 (49:55):
Next all right, before we get there. Yeah, yeah, segment's over.
Kat sounds like you're very interested in what shot He
had to say after the game.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (50:04):
So, Brian Schottenheimer got his first win and it was
a Dak gave him a game ball, as Jerry gave
Dak the game ball to give to Shoty. There's a
whole chain of command, clearly. But then his mom was
not there. Shot He's ninety two year old. Mom was
not there because she had a tough week.

Speaker 11 (50:22):
My mom on Friday afternoon went to the airport, fell
in the airport, broke her arm. So, Mom, I love you,
I know you're watching. I know you're proud, but kind
of thinks she wasn't here for it. But she she
took one for the team and she said, hey, I'll
be all right. I'll take my meds and be ready
to go. We had we had a lot of things
this week, and I don't know how deep you guys

(50:42):
want to go. I had my dogs got bit by snakes.
That was a big vet bill shout out to wherever
we went. They got not one, but two got bit
by snakes. And then my mom calls me on Friday afternoon.
I'm leaving the office and from the er, I'm.

Speaker 6 (50:56):
Kind of like, Okay, where do you live, dude? Where's
he living? I mean, snakes are on the move right now.
Still hot, you know they're they're but they're preparing for winter.
They know it's coming, but they're a little confused by
why it's ninety four degrees outside. So the snakes are out.

Speaker 7 (51:11):
We have a friend who lives in South Lake who
uh there was somebody leaving his house right off the
front porch was just standing there. They were talking and
a copperhead came out of the flower bed.

Speaker 6 (51:20):
Oh my god, was it going door to the door.
It might have been doing some roofing. I've just been
hanging out in my flower bed a lot lately. It's
a terrible idea.

Speaker 7 (51:28):
I don't but you know, to have multiple dogs bitten,
that seems odd. Yeah, well unless people ordered it and
they're fighting it. Yeah, it could have been a lot
of snakes against a lot of dogs.

Speaker 6 (51:38):
And that was just after the battle. But you know,
there's hey, they're scorpions in Frisco shot. He loves competition.
So he gets home and he's like, I got my
dogs and my snakes going at it.

Speaker 4 (51:47):
Let's go.

Speaker 7 (51:48):
I heard that that was a lot. I mean, and
really if you look at both dogs getting bitten by snakes,
his mom breaking her arm at the airport, yeah, a
lot of that could have been seen as a bad
omen and why they lost, but.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
One didn't found a way.

Speaker 6 (52:02):
Okay. I want to go back to real quick to
Jerry though, because here's Jerry and the question there's a
little funny laugh and the questions about he had just
admitted to everyone that he signed you Dave on Clowney
and then it's like, okay, well, would you have gotten
him suited up if you got him here in time.

Speaker 4 (52:16):
We're trying to get him out there for overtime.

Speaker 9 (52:20):
If I had if it had been if it had
been dressed out, I would have I would have dressed
out myself if I thought it would have happened in
that game.

Speaker 6 (52:27):
Boy, I didn't know how many more of those.

Speaker 1 (52:29):
We were going.

Speaker 9 (52:30):
And my understanding is that the overtime's over. It's a
half business. Never limit on the overtime. Yeah, yeah, so
that's what upeful for a time.

Speaker 6 (52:40):
So we don't know the rules of overtime?

Speaker 4 (52:42):
Was that Mosley at the end there?

Speaker 7 (52:44):
Yeah, it's unfortunate that the guy leading your whole football
empire doesn't know that. You would hope that that would
be the guy that would for sure know the rules.
I think in this day age, gems don't keep up
with the rules.

Speaker 6 (52:55):
I know.

Speaker 4 (52:55):
Meanwhile, his son is on the competition committee that's.

Speaker 7 (52:58):
Going on with that, by the way, not for some reason,
speaking of competition committee, there was that weird play in
the game where there was like eight penalties on the
one play. Yes, why is it that if there's one
penalty on one team and three on the other team
that they all just wash out.

Speaker 6 (53:13):
I've always had a problem with this. I've always had
a problem with this offset the play, like, no, that's
not how it should work. One team did worse on
that play, they should be penalized for it. I've always
hated that if one team commits a personal foul and
one team was off sides, well, I still think the
team that just jumped off side should benefit from the
personal foul that happened.

Speaker 12 (53:33):
That was like a CD's taunting call, right, and it
just yeah, that was irritated.

Speaker 6 (53:37):
But also, CD, can we can we now hurt your
team enough this year?

Speaker 11 (53:41):
Right?

Speaker 7 (53:42):
We're about to have it on the one yard line.
Dog tawny gotta stop. Yeah, you should know this. And
why does the tawning need to stop? Well, let them
have fun. And that's I agree. I love that.

Speaker 10 (53:53):
I know.

Speaker 6 (53:54):
That's the same way I feel about rough in the
past and all of these things. I agree and think
a lot of these rules are stupid, but they are
also shown tape before the season and have the refs
come in and show them here's what you need to know,
so like, you have to learn that and stop doing it,
even though you might disagree with it. How did Dak play, Brian?

Speaker 11 (54:14):
I never, at one moment felt like Dak was not
playing well. I mean he and I were having fun.
I mean we're starting overtime and I was like, hey,
you have any fun.

Speaker 9 (54:21):
Man.

Speaker 11 (54:21):
He's like, I love this and he said, we're made
for this. I said, you're damn right, we are. You know,
when you call good plays, he executes him. When I
call plays, he's still excutes him.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 7 (54:31):
So coming around on this guy, it took a while
for Dak to get going, but you have. It took
a sit of him a while to get the ball. Yeah,
that's a good point, but you did. That's where it's
like having the guy that has been around and seeing
everything and is confident at the end of games feels
so good because they those older cats do not get flustered. Yeah,

(54:54):
and dude, on that first drive it was the Cowboys
end up being in a third and one and they're cooked,
like it's third and one and they throw the ball
on third and one right, well rpl yeah, And it's like, dude,
if you're the Eagles, it's an automatic push push the
minute you get even anywhere close to being two yards

(55:16):
or one yard for any and the drive was over.

Speaker 6 (55:18):
And then they didn't see the ball again, like if
you're gonna try to go for it on fourth down,
and they thought about it, and then they had a
delay of game, which I thought the refs blew that
too soon. I thought the Cowboys were fine.

Speaker 7 (55:26):
When I was watching it in real time, I thought
it was a delay of game because.

Speaker 6 (55:29):
I just but like, again, this is like a rest
a hot zero and then count a second and then oh, okay,
do the delay a game? And it's like, no, no,
they were right when it hit zero. They blew the playdown,
but that was the Cowboys are probably like, well, we
know we're going to go for it on fourth down,
so we can throw it on third down.

Speaker 7 (55:46):
But I kind of liked that whole thing of make
the other team think you're just trying to draw them
off sides and snap it at the very end. I
don't know that I've seen that before. No, well, yeah,
and that's something they should do. Yeah, but now they've
done it and it didn't work out. Yeah, I wanna
go a one minute late here, okay, and we'll make
up for in a second. This is Brian. Did you
know that they signed Clowney?

Speaker 4 (56:07):
When does your voice give come.

Speaker 6 (56:08):
Back after a few shoddies?

Speaker 11 (56:12):
So if you guys let me leave, I'm gonna go
have a couple free Lemons, right, vodka, water, three lemons.
But it'll come back tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (56:19):
But I'm a little tired.

Speaker 3 (56:20):
Last one, John, Brian, did Jerry tell you that you
guys are signing?

Speaker 4 (56:24):
J Davin Clowney told us that out there, Jerry and
I talk about a lot of things.

Speaker 9 (56:29):
John.

Speaker 11 (56:31):
If it's true, which I think. If Jerry says it's true,
that's awesome for the Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (56:35):
He had no idea.

Speaker 7 (56:37):
But do you want him someone to run down on
the field, go, hey, we just made a front office move. Oh,
I'm sorry, it's over talking about that. No, No, I'm
okay with it. Last one, real quick. He's got this.

Speaker 6 (56:47):
Rule, you know. I think he's trying to get like
an endorsement deal for his drink, the shoddy vodka and
water and three lines.

Speaker 11 (56:53):
I'm gonna enjoy this one midnight rule. I've told you
guys this one right midnight, I'm gonna enjoy it. I'mna
have a couple of shoddies tonight and at midnight I'm
gonna go to bed and wake up, and then we're
on to Chicago.

Speaker 6 (57:03):
See, every time I get like thinking very highly of him,
he starts forcing this alcoholic drink on me.

Speaker 7 (57:09):
All right, coming up next, two country artists almost get
into a fight, and then we'll talk about the greatness
of Dirk All that's coming your way next on the Eagles.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
Are You Excited?

Speaker 9 (57:26):
Featuring veteran news anchor kt fun tweets we have a.

Speaker 6 (57:31):
Bit of a fight here between a couple of country
gas Gavin Adcock versus Zach Bryan is the case that
we're looking at today. Now we need a little background
on Gavin Adcock, right, I think everyone kind of knows
who Zach Brian is. Gavin Adcock, he's the guy from
a couple months ago we played audio of him at
a show going off about how Beyonce's country album is

(57:54):
not country music. But I did not know this until
like this morning. He famous. He played. He was the
nose tackle for Georgia Southern's football team college football team
in twenty twenty one interest and he got dismissed from
the team because there is a video that went viral
of him chugging a beer before a game on top

(58:17):
of on top of the bus. What a hero and
like ESPN like did a story on and everything, and
then he parlayed that into a country.

Speaker 4 (58:24):
Music Okay, he's a hero.

Speaker 6 (58:26):
He's an He's an opportunist, is what he is. Though
this was so good for him. Okay, this college football
at Georgia Southern and he turned it into this. So
he is at some music festival that Zach Bryan is
at as well. Obviously Gavin Adcock is going on earlier
in the day. Zach Brian would go on later at night.

(58:47):
I mean, Zach Brian's huge. He just did a bunch
of shows with Bruce Springsteen, Kings Leon and stuff like.
It's he's he's doing well for himself. So here is
a well didn't didn't?

Speaker 7 (58:59):
Is? Do you have what ad said about him initially
and the before, the before to get himself? What got
him so mad? He said he wasn't a good person
or something. He's like said, he's really not a good person.

Speaker 6 (59:10):
There's something that happened back in June two like this,
this is they've they've had a little war of words
from the past and I remember reading it, but I
forgot what it was because I'm losing my mind. So,
Zach Brian, whatever happened there, Zach Brian drives by and
he's got his team with him, and there's a chain

(59:31):
link fence separating him, and you can hear zach Brian
ready to fight, and Zach Brian is mad and like
pushes the chainley fitch. You can hear it. He's got
like temper.

Speaker 7 (59:49):
Didn't a woman accuse him of like getting physical with
her too or something like.

Speaker 6 (59:53):
That, or he's got some stuff? Yeah? Sure, the old
barstool girl forgot what her name is that he was
dating for a while. They had a little rough, little
rough relationship. He's had a lot of stuff going on.
He also served our country and we do thank him.

Speaker 7 (01:00:08):
It's hard to handle extreme fame when you're just a
small town boy from Oklahoma.

Speaker 6 (01:00:12):
Yeah. Yeah, a lot going on there. I don't know
if he was found guilty of anything, but they're like
alligation and the girl worked for barstools. That's kind of
how she was in the news, so you know. Anyways,
Zach Bryan then tries to start climbing the chain link
fence and in the video you see Gavin Adcock back
in a way and like calling for security.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
And there's Barbour at the top of the fence.

Speaker 7 (01:00:34):
Yeah, that can't stop Zach Brian. No, they did not
stop him. Man, if there's a nose tackle and he
needs to kick his ass. He's going over the barboar
right now.

Speaker 6 (01:00:44):
Gavin Adcock posted a video that's showing you Zach Bryan
saying on that and punching the chain link fence. It says,
when you get death threats from Sack crying before you
headline in his hometown.

Speaker 7 (01:00:55):
Oh that's a good trump maneuver. Come up with Brandon
with a nickname. That's funny. Classic.

Speaker 6 (01:01:00):
But here is now Gavin ad coxs video after the incident. Okay,
he pulls.

Speaker 10 (01:01:06):
Up in a pickup truck outside the gate and starts
giving out threats. So I just decided to stir him
up to the point where he.

Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
Jumped over the fence.

Speaker 10 (01:01:14):
I don't think anybody scared of Zack Bryan. I'm just
an adult, and fight him would have only meant going
to jail, missing my set and falling into a Zack
Bryan lawsuit. And we all know he likes to manipulate
people with money. He knew where I was all day,
and he created this hole Ti'm a badass jump over

(01:01:35):
the fence narrative just to try to make himself look
bigger or tougher, even though he could have just walked
on in the gate. He had been in there all day,
and at the end of the day, I know my
decision I made was right. I didn't take the Zack
Bryan bait and I'll be praying for him to get better.

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Because he sure needs it.

Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
Got it did though, you wouldn't disturb it.

Speaker 12 (01:01:55):
Yeah, as soon as he said I'm an adult, I'm like, no,
you're not, neither one of your adults here and my.

Speaker 6 (01:02:00):
Quick homework because I remember reading this so Gavin Adcock,
there was some fan at a Zach Bryan show. A
fourteen year old was like upset that Zach Brian didn't
take a photo with him, and Gavin Adcock Glass elevated
that tweet or whatever, post or whatever to make it
look like Zach Brian's a terrible guy, and he might be.
I don't really know, Zach r why'd you like? Why

(01:02:21):
are you doing that?

Speaker 7 (01:02:22):
It's good for a fourteen year old to learn that lesson,
don't get everything you want all the time. Don't get
access to Zach Bryan whenever you want it. Good lesson.
All right, there you have it coming up next, Let's
take a deep dive. Let's take a closer look at
what Dirk did over the weekend. It's pretty incredible. We're
three minutes away from that. Don't go anywhere, but.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
This thing's big. That's right, Cynthia.

Speaker 7 (01:02:46):
It was a big weekend for the Ben and Skin
show because Ben and I were lucky enough to go
to the Dirt Noavichki Foundation seventh Annual Celebrity Tennis Classic
held in Dallas at the Banner House and t Barm
Tennis and Racket Club and Benny.

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
It was awesome, Yeah, it was. It was great.

Speaker 7 (01:03:08):
You know, the I think more people are familiar with
Dirk's hero celebrity baseball game, which used to take place
at you know, Doctor Pepperfield, a rough Rider Field in Frisco,
just because it's a bigger you know, I think it
was like twelve thousand people. But I think the tennis
event is a better overall event, more bang for your
buck to like enjoy Dirk, right, Yeah, because Dirk is

(01:03:30):
miked up the whole time. He loves tennis. It's a
you know, it's not as expansive as being at a
big giant ballpark, and you know, him and Nash are
basically talking trash to each other the entire day and
it's just such a fun vibe.

Speaker 4 (01:03:43):
Yeah, the thing has evolved.

Speaker 7 (01:03:45):
You know, when it first started, it was at this
SMU Tennis complex and there was like four tennis matches
going on at once out in the sun on a
September and so there it was just a lot going on.
So they've changed it over the years and now there's
just one court and there's you know, it's indoors, and
every the hearing situation is better, like the listening situation

(01:04:07):
is better, and so Dirk and Nash and different people
at different times are miked up. And so it's team
Nash versus Team Dirk. And there's celebrities involved, some former
tennis players, some current tennis players, but the whole thing
is kind of based on Dirk going against Nash and
both of them grew up with tennis. Dirk loves tennis.

(01:04:28):
He can't move the way he used to. But Nash
he is out there and man, Steve Nash is pretty
damn good at tennis and still can move around great. Yeah,
and you know there's there, you know, you can see
the difference between there's like legit tennis players like Cory
Korby was out there, yeah, and which was cool. From
the hard line, I thought he did great, did great.

(01:04:50):
Kobe Cotton from Dude Perfect was out there and I
thought he did great. You could tell that he played
games growing up, and then when you see the real
tennis players, it's not and day like they're just hammering
the ball. But I agree with you, Nash is somewhere
in between those. Yeah, he's he's really good. But man,
it was this year they did these different things, like
they played Knockout. They rolled out a basketball goal and

(01:05:13):
they played knockout. Uh and it you know, watching Dirt
Dirk dunk to the ball. Dirt dunked and it's one
of those goals. It's like people put in their driveway
that's not attached to anything.

Speaker 4 (01:05:23):
They could come down real easily.

Speaker 7 (01:05:25):
And Dirt goes in and dunks it and it looks
like it's coming down. And then he hangs on the
rim to the point where he's standing on the ground
still holding the rim, and we're just waiting for the
whole thing.

Speaker 6 (01:05:36):
To come down.

Speaker 7 (01:05:37):
And you know, Dirk is so playful and like his
way of talking trash is like it's so sweet when
he's insulting you to your core, like he just does
it in such a playful, fun way. And so it
came down to a knockout. It was Dirk, Nash, and
Kobe Cotton from Dude Perfect. Those are the three guys.
So how's Kobe Cotton going to beat two Hall of

(01:05:58):
Famers in a game of knockout?

Speaker 4 (01:05:59):
He acquitted himself very well.

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
It is.

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
He wasn't gonna beat Nash, but he acquitted himself very
very well. While they're playing the game, Dirk is blocking shots,
pushing him, messing with him, straight garbage. And it's so
funny too, because he's not He's not putting on a
show for everybody. You could tell. That's just how he is.
And the best stuff is so he's really tight with

(01:06:24):
Devin Harris. And Devin was out there and hadn't played
in several years but came back and I thought Devin
played well. But like they're doing doubles and he's on
Dirk's team and devil say, Dirk Will says, I'm like,
you got this, and then Devin Will missed the shan
and go, oh that's terrible, That's okay, You're still my
guy though.

Speaker 4 (01:06:42):
It's just it's so good.

Speaker 7 (01:06:43):
But the thing that like you know, sometimes you can't
write a script better than the way it ends up.
And so Ben and I have the mat sheet and
we're and by the way they kept it moving like
it never lulled. And I think people are super excited
that Cooper Flagg was there. Actually played tennis, but he
hung out and he had had his wisdom teeth pulled,

(01:07:04):
and so for him to show up and still be
there for the crowd, and at one point he couldn't
help it, and he picked up a racket whenever them
started hitting with Coco Vandaway, whose dad was a legendary NBA.
Her uncle, Kiki Vandaway was a legendary player, and she
was a pro and now she's a commentator. But he's
out there hitting with her because he just can't stand
it right. It's like activity is happening. He's got to

(01:07:26):
pick up a racket. But Ben and I look down
at the match sheet and Dirk's got three kids. Their
ages I think are twelve, ten and eight, and the
two boys are ten and eight. And on the mat
sheet it says Daddy Dirk and Max versus Uncle Steve
and Morris. And so the whole crowd watches as Morris

(01:07:50):
his eight year old goes out there with Nash and
plays double against his dad and his older brother Max,
and man, it, I'm not even being corny dad, Like,
it was so awesome. I can't even really do I
can't do it justice. It was one of the most
fun things to watch because it was fun. It was funny,

(01:08:10):
it was adorable. Dirk's son Max, he was just trying
so hard not to smile, like when you watch a
kid that's having fun and he knows everybody's looking at him,
Like his face was fighting the smile.

Speaker 4 (01:08:25):
It was so great and his boys are really good
at Ynys.

Speaker 7 (01:08:28):
They both played tennis there at that facility at T
barm Banner House, and yeah, it was almost like, you know,
because Nash and Dirk are so close, it was almost
like we all got to be a part of something
they might just do on any other Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
That's a great point.

Speaker 7 (01:08:42):
And so it's like getting to go behind the curtain
and see what their lives. And because Nash and Dirk
were miked up, they're also talking trash and like he's
talking to his son Morris, right, I'm coming for you,
I'm coming at you, and yeah, and then Nash is
telling him go at your old man, he can't move
or whatever they're making and I said, go at your dad.
Always attack the weakest link. And everyone gets to hear this.

Speaker 6 (01:09:03):
Yeah, no one here.

Speaker 7 (01:09:05):
And then it got kind of close and Dirk is
giving his son Max like instruction in German. Yes, speaking
to him in German, and I'm like, oh my god,
this is so cool, Like I wonder what he's telling him. Yeah,
because obviously we had I had no idea. Nash doesn't
know whatever he's telling him.

Speaker 4 (01:09:23):
It was it was really fun.

Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
And so also Dirk is kind of like being the
dad and thinking about the event, and so he's going, okay,
well the matches go to ten, and he's like, all right,
we'll just go to seven.

Speaker 4 (01:09:35):
Let's just go to seven.

Speaker 7 (01:09:36):
And they get halfway into it, and Nash can tell
how much the kids are into it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:40):
He goes, We're going to ten.

Speaker 7 (01:09:41):
Like Nash changed the rules because of the way the
boys were reacting. It was just it's just so unique
to have access to a moment like that, and the
whole crowd got it. I got something for you too.
So there is a silent auction attached to this, and
it goes on for the rest of the week. And
one the things you can do is, you know, you
can do a private I think you can play doubles

(01:10:04):
tennis with him and Nash and do things like that.

Speaker 6 (01:10:06):
But there's also a dinner at Nick and.

Speaker 7 (01:10:08):
Sam's and I think you and I need to bid
ten grand on it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
Where are we going to get that money?

Speaker 6 (01:10:15):
Ten grand?

Speaker 7 (01:10:16):
Like I like, I think the high bid right now
seventy five hundred. But didn't you see wasn't there a
dinner with Suka and Dirk that went for five hundred
grand or something? It went for six figures. I don't
remember the jack number. But that was a situation where
that was at the MAVs Foundation event MAVs Ball and
there was super high rollers bidding against one another, and
wasn't Cuban one of the high rollers? And then the

(01:10:38):
guy came in Golli and blaken on his name. They
did another one base. They just said once they got
up so high, they were like, hey, can you do
two of them?

Speaker 6 (01:10:45):
And Dirk and Luca were like, yeah, we'll do two.

Speaker 7 (01:10:47):
Yeah, But I don't know, Like I'm this one's only
at seventy five hundred, and I know that's a lot
of money. But I think for this, but I think
for this, you know, dinner with Dirk at Nick and Sam's.
I think we should bid ten grand and then like
do it as a giveaway, Yeah, like give our give
it to our listeners where they get to cause I
gotta look. I think it's eight people get to go. Yeah,

(01:11:08):
is that right?

Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:11:09):
Yeah? People dinner Dinner with Dirk and Nick and Sam's.
A thousand of personal gets you up to eight thousand.
Top that seventy five hundred bid, right, if you gotta
need to get to ten, you don't want to barely
beat the bid because that's on your your name, We're
gonna think you're cheap. So but eight people, I don't
can't do the math on the fly. There, man, I'm
good for like thirty bucks, right, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:11:30):
I get okay, good for thirty There's a funny moment
so at So they did like an after party thing
and one of the entertainment was the legendary DJ from
Salt and Pepa Spinderella, because she lives in Dallas now
and I saw her every time. I'm seeing her a
couple of times because she DJ's out and every time
I think, man, I got a really funny picture of

(01:11:51):
very young KT and very young Jeff Kavanaugh hanging out
with Spinderella.

Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
I don't think either one of them have any idea
who she is?

Speaker 6 (01:11:59):
Did you? That's the picture? Okay?

Speaker 4 (01:12:01):
But also you know I was told yeah, all right.

Speaker 7 (01:12:05):
Well, anyways, thank you to the dirt Novitzky Foundation for
having us. We always have a really good time. I'll
never forget though, that time that Kat did take that
picture with Spinderella. He looked her dead in her famous eyes,
and he said, it's good to think about the past.
You know, as you get older, you realize that time flies,
and that meant a lot to her. Christina, you gonna

(01:12:26):
stick around and play music.

Speaker 12 (01:12:27):
I think so.

Speaker 4 (01:12:28):
All right, we got a little baby gorm.

Speaker 7 (01:12:30):
Bread sticking around and playing music till ten o'clock right
here on the eagle.

Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
There you going.

Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
You're so, I'm gonna get some cheeks after this horse
power joint, all aright,
