Speaker 2 (02:16):
I don't know the one that's got the big wedding
ring on her finger.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Look at her and all her glory. Look out what

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah, she's okay, what does that mean?
Speaker 4 (02:45):
What you know?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
But because that song, you know, that song is a vibe, right,
what kind of vibe? Well, if it turns people, if
it turns you around and you're like, hey, what what's
going on here?
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Right? Did you have ma'am? Did you think strip club?

And he said that she's not in your heads? Okay, awesome, awesome.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
And now the guy she's with turned around and went, wait, what, yes,
what is happening right now? He confided in me that
he used to dance at Lebert, so that was his
song and that's why he's wearing a bow tie with
no shirt. That's okay, man, that makes sense now, all right,
So we're at Pluckers in Dallas. We'd love for you
to come hang out with us, Come come say hello.
(03:27):
Get your weekend start off right. Obviously a big portion
of today's show is going to be discussing Dallas Cowboys football.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
When does their season start?
Speaker 1 (03:35):
What a strange game like to First of all, how
long was the weather delay?
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Hours? Like an hour? An hour? Yeah, fifteen?
Speaker 1 (03:42):
And the second part of the game that happened after
the weather delay was a totally different game.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Like early it was each.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Offense just scored every time they had the ball, and
then after that nobody scored.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Yeah, that is pretty crazy, and it is weird in
any sport when you have a crazy long delay. I
would imagine far and away the worse for that is football,
because there's just hitting on every play. Hey, go, get ready,
hit for an hour and a half, stop for an hour,
and do it for We'll wait till halftime, then play
(04:15):
for about fifteen, then stop for another hour, and then
go out there and do some more hitting and let
me know how it works out. The best part of
all that was Treyvon Diggs has kind of snuck off
to do his own thing, and he was looking for
uncrustables in the field level suites.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
That was my favorite report. Of the night.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Right, they had like security cam footage of him walking
and taking his pads off. He's going into the suite
full of Eagles fans. They had uncrustables because the sandwich
trailer or the sandwich cart was on the way to
the locker room, right, so he was looking for some food.
They're not prepared for that type of thing, right, And
it does we should have known it was gonna rain
last night, and I think it was talked about a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
It does show how great uncrustables are because even in
your corner, making over like twenty million or whatever he's
making per year, you still just want a good old uncrustable.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Oh yeah, dude, Actually just if they's some in an
ice chest.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
It's funny though, because the professional athlete views it as
fuel and I'll view it as something to do on
cheat day, right, rights, is not healthy.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
All right.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
So the way the game started, it felt like the
Cowboys are going to give up fifty points. I was like, Okay,
this is the worst defense that's ever happened, the no
one's ever put together worst defense. The Cowboys were insisting
on bringing just four people to rush the quarterback, and
they were getting absolutely no pressure, which made me miss
Michah Parsons. Obviously, I'm like, ah, leave, you just had
(05:32):
one disruptor. But it's a tough game to like reconcile
because I think ultimately.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
They lost and there are no moral victories.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
But I think ultimately I leave that game being encouraged
that they're better than I thought they were.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I'm way encouraged for a lot of reasons.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
The main things is most of the run damage was
done when they were passing, like they couldn't contain Jalen Hurts.
Saquon Barkley did not run all over the Cowboys. I mean,
he had some nice runs, but he did not run
all over the Cowboys. Jalen Hurts ran all over the
Cowboys when they couldn't contain him when the pocket broke down.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Right, so, all right, try to figure out how to
fix that.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
But man, the final minute of the first half gave
me so much blood flow to my lower section. I
forgot what it was like when an offense knows how
to run the end of a half right.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
I could not. I was like, man, I've seen other
teams do this before.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
You mean to tell me the head coach has a
plan when they called I mean because you know you're
watching it and you see eight seconds on the clock
and then the refs calling a timeout, and then he says,
there's fifteen seconds on the clock.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
You're watching that going.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Mike McCarthy would have, never, under any circumstance ever called
that timeout. They manufactured three points with fifty seconds to
go and two timeouts, and both of their timeouts were
called so well thought out based on the circumstances. Because
it's easy, eat a second to do it after the
factor right, it's easy to go, you should have done this,
(07:03):
you should have done this. They knew exactly what they
were doing. They knew how much time needed to happen,
what kind of plays to run. I don't even know
the last time we had that romo going rogue. Maybe
that was that was far and away from me. Besides
the fact they didn't get blown out by the Eagles,
the most encouraging thing was like, oh, things are different.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Now we're gonna play modern football. This is very exciting.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, Shody. I was very impressed by Shody. The motion,
the play calling, the clock management, and having the team
ready to play all that stellar stellar, stellar grade for
him in every way. You never anticipate CD Lamb to
have four drops in a game or three drop, whatever
you want to call. You don't expect CD Lamb to
just drop passes that hit him right in the bread basket. Obviously,
(07:49):
the Miles Sanders fumble sucked Myrtle Pickens penalty.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
So the Pickens penalty was bad. But that's expected. But
that's what you signed up.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
For, right, did you see the y There was a
play where it looked like maybe he would get an
interference call over in the corner, but he didn't get it.
And as he's running back, he grabs the receiver's leg.
He wants to fight, but he's like like and I
saw these posts are like, man, he almost let the
intrusive thoughts win. I guess that's the way George Pickens think.
Shoulder shoulder like, don't do that. But you know, all
(08:22):
things considered, I don't, I don't. It was a terrible
defensive game plan.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
The idea that.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
We're we're gonna rush for I guess we're gonna play
a lot of zone and we're not gonna spy the
quarterback because basically Jalen hurts. Just you know, I left
that game being reminded that Jalen Hurts is not a
scary player, like to me, he doesn't scare me like
he is. They have good receivers that weren't even there,
(08:48):
Like they.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Didn't even throw the ball last year.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Aj Brown had one catch for eight yards. Vonta Smith
had three for sixteen. Like, bro, that's like those are
real web And so once once the Cowboys are like,
all right, let's stop playing the way we planned to
play the first half. When they score on us at will,
let's actually load up the box, stop the run and
put pressure on Jayleen Hurts. Once they started doing that,
(09:13):
they were great defense at the horse. So why did
they have such a bad game play?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
And then why did they go back to it on
third and three with a minute forty left in the game.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
You have a chance to get the ball back.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Now, it's not you're not feeling good about the Eagles
having the ball in third and three?
Speaker 2 (09:26):
And what did they do?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Four rushers, no spy, seven guys drop back, all playing zone,
just kind of not paying attention and then he runs
for the first down.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Like, dude, this you talking about the old in the
first half. No, the end of the game.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Oh, third and three because there the Cowboys had their
time out still. Yeah, after they didn't make the fourth
and three, right, so the Eagles get the ball, you
got a chance to get the ball back.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
It's third and three.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
They just got that seven yard pass to aj Brown,
his only catch of the night, and then they went
back to what they were.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
Doing the entire first half. So that part's confusing. It
shouldn't feel like a win, but it kind of did.
I mean, I got to sit in here going, oh,
they're gonna kill the Giants next week, and that's so terrible.
I can't tell you how many people I talked to
that were like, oh my god, it's only eight and
a half.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
I'm taking the over.
Speaker 6 (10:10):
There are so many people, like, so many bad things
have been said about so many people involved with everything
last night, including the.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Coach, And like then he kind of realized, Okay, maybe
it's not that bad. He does have a clock. Guy though,
did to learn that?
Speaker 5 (10:21):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Good for him?
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Right, Why wouldn't he all right, all right, we're not
anywhere near done talking about this game. We're at Pluckers
in Dallas. We love, love, love Pluckers. Best wings you've
ever had?
Speaker 2 (10:34):
In your life. There's locations all over town.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
If you're looking for somewhere to watch college football this weekend,
go to the nearest Pluckers, to your eyeballs in your mouth,
and go watch some college football and eat some delicious
wings and then of course the NFL action on Sunday
and Monday night as well. But coming up next part
two of this initial discussion, what were our impressions with
the Cowboys season opener last night? We keep the conversation going.
(10:58):
We're just three minutes away. Don't miss the fiery conclusion
of our opening Cowboys Cheddar. That's next live from Pluckers
in Dallas. Ah.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yes, it is the Bit and.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Skin Show ninety seven point one The Eagle and we
are on the road, hanging out at Pluckers Lovers in Greenville,
the og Dallas location.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Come on out here.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
There's a bunch of people hanging out at the bar
right here in front of us. I snuck over there
and I had to bite a lemon pepper wing off.
My wife's played over there, got me through the commercial break. Man.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Oh, the wings are so good here, so good.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
We have lots to get to today, lots of fun
stuff to get to coming up at the bottom of
the hour in the Hollywood Shuffle the three most popular
shows that people are streaming right now, but we're talking
Dallas Cowboys football.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
They lose twenty four to twenty.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
But we are certainly style pointing that loss because I think,
you know, this is the first game of the year.
You don't know what your team's gonna be like, especially
now that nobody plays in the preseason.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Mikah gets traded, you have some concerns.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
You don't know what the offensive line is going to
be like. There's just a lot of things you don't know.
And man, they went toe to toe with the Super
Bowl champs last night. And I'm not blaming it on anybody,
but it's safe to say that if Cede Lamb has
a second half like he did in the first half,
i think we're talking upset here, or at least at
coming down to a final play in Philly, having the
(12:18):
ball and having a chance two huge drops for Cede Lamb.
One was very difficult, but the one that bounced off
his hands would have put the Cowboys at the twenty
yard line with a couple of minutes to go. You
know what, It reminded me of guys. It reminded me
of it's revisionist history. But since we just watched the
Netflix documentary series, I mean, the Cowboys didn't win every
(12:41):
game going away. They had tough games, and when they
absolutely had to have a play, they went to Michael
Irvin and he delivered. I'm not knocking Ceede Lamb, but
I'm just saying, you expect those guys to make those plays.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
At that time. He gets paid what thirty four million
a year or.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Something something like that, you know, like that seventh times
paid non quarterback football. I saw that some people were
calculating at four drops for over one hundred yards and
you know, and you even even for him that last ball,
You're like, Okay, he was all.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Out diving for that.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
I wouldn't call that a drop, but for his standards,
he usually comes up with that ball, and I guarantee
you he's beating himself up for not coming up with it.
And so, yeah, you could look at it on one
hand and say, yeah, there's so much to be happy about,
but at the same time, like the way the game
started with you know, their best defensive player, Jalen Carter
(13:35):
getting kicked out of the game for spinning on tack
that was such a gift and amazing. Weren't able to
capitalize on that. You know, it's like they got to
play us without Micah, but we got to play them
without their best defensive.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Player too, and then they lost a guard along the
way too.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
It's like they were they're very shorthanded comparatively, if we
had just been able to put a spot and maybe
it's like if we have Overshown, maybe Overshown as the
spy and maybe, you know, but we don't have him.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
He's out hurt. But you know, they didn't assign a
spy to Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
They brought four, they dropped back in zone coverage or
whatever it was, and then he just basically stood around
back there until he wanted to run for a first down.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
And he wasn't trying to throw it, No, but he
didn't throw it.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Last year, dude, the Cowboys just played Philly on the
road and lost by four and had some drops on
a final drive and held Saquon Barkley to like sixty yards. Also,
you know that the Eagles also had a bunch of penalties,
a lot of them aboarded the Cowboys first down, so
it's got lucky on that end.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
True.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
The problem with the Cowboys, I think now is I'm
gonna do the other side now instead of looking at
it for him.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
His cowboys don't have the margin of error that.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
They have, right, Like they can't like little things like this,
you're going to look back later, like, oh, and they
had all those penalties and CD dropped all those passes.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
CD had seven drops last year. He had four last night.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
And Jalen Carter spit in the Cleveland yard quarterback like
when all that happened, Like, oh, that's the difference in
us making him missing the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah, they also got the gift of on third and
twenty two, an absolute garbage call that benefited the Cowboys,
the red blinking ship personal foul and third and twenty two.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
That chop Ferguson's had. What is he supposed to do? Yeah,
like there's nothing he can do. He didn't even really
try to hit him.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
And it's like, yeah, sure, I'll take that, but it's
like that's a garbage call, boy, and dude, and really
that whole sequence of First of all, Miles Sanders has
got to be the slowest running back in the league,
Like how does he not take that to the house
and a linebacker not only catches him, but circles him
strategically to try to bump the ball out of his hand.
(15:39):
And uh, and then you know there was the uh
there was a play that Dak threw just I thought
Dak was great all night, awesome, but he underthrew Ferguson
just a little bit. Or that's a touchdown, right, And
then none of that other stuff that happens, the pickens
pale and the fumble and all that stuff doesn't matter.
And how about Dak's tackle on the fumble?
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Da tackle save the game? That whole sequence deserves a
full segment later the time on that amazing we'll do
it at four o'clock. We'll get back into it. But
then we have cutting the Cowboys at five. Lots of
cowboys today. But coming up next in the Hollywood Shuffle,
let's do the three most popular streamed shows right now
live for pluckers lovers in Greenville.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
Here on the Eagle, Juicy News, hot God, every copy,
stay on the top in the wood shovel.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
It's really sexual singing for just an intro about some
entertainment's news.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
That guy opens the door with his hands on his head. Yeah,
what's that guy's deal? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (16:41):
Okay, so today is September fifth, so we there's the way. Okay, No,
that's not the story.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
It's not give it up for KT.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
He knows the date, all right, Coming up next, we'll
look at some future dates.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Thank you guys, See you next week.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
So the way the ratings work for TV is really
dumb now because they're streaming as well.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
It's very hard to calculate. But the week of August
fourth through August tenth drop today. That's what it's like
radio ratings. You get a month, you get them a
month later, just like the radio rating.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
Great.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Uh so what do you guys think were the top
three stream shows?
Speaker 2 (17:17):
This is the problem with the modern era. I do
not know what was happening a month ago.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
The modern era is a problem really hard because everything
has a five second attention span, So trying to remember
a month ago what was popping is damn near im possible.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Can I get a hint? Number three is a show
that both Ben and Christina partook. It's that Hunter Wives
or Texans That.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Yes, yeah, which the adult version.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Is way different. What do you mean an adult version?
Speaker 1 (17:51):
No?
Speaker 2 (17:51):
The other like the adult version. It's not called The
Hunting Wives. It's a little different. I got you. He's
talking about their schemers. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:02):
It's not a it's not a baseball movie.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
He's trying to mouth a dirty word. He can't stay
on the radio to skin out of plucker, so you understands. Yeah, yeah, okay,
all right? That was number three. All right, everyone watched it.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
I didn't.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
That show was uh.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
It was like bait in the water of an alien
wanted to catch me and they wanted to make a
TV show that I would bite the hook like a fish.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
It's like a bunch of MILFs and there's maybe some interaction.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
And uh with each other, and it's some actresses that
I've always liked throughout my viewing career.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
So it but it really wasn't that good you call
that interaction. And I saw it through. I saw it through.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
I watched the whole thing, and it started off hot
and heavy and was pretty good, and then it was like, oh,
it's not that good as it.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
What do you mean hot and heavy? Exactly? What's the
point of it? Do you know what The Red Shoe
Diaries are? No?
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Okay, the point of it is okay, uh, it's it's
it's and I think they're making fun of a small
Texas town or the story takes place in a small
Texas town.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
That's not right.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
And the idea is there's this guy and he's real
rich and powerful and he also wants to be maybe
the governor of Texas.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Uh, but he's like a big time swinger. Oh okay
with his wife.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
And so this new couple moves to town and they're Yankees,
and it's like both the man and the woman have
their eye on the lady and you know, it's like,
you know, they see her as a target to include
in their fun and then everything that happens from there.
One of the ladies is hooking up with a high
(19:41):
school senior who's eighteen.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
By the way, Now, was that so prevalent and in
so many TV shows?
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Just think about the Desperate Housewives? Yeah, same thing, same thing.
The guy was out there mowing the yark.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
I saw the first twenty five minutes of the first episode,
and me and my wife were talking about it having
a hillbilly euphoria vibe, you know.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Because of what Ben's talk about.
Speaker 6 (20:00):
Okay, you know, number two is a show I also
have not seen, even though it's been on for many years,
but came back with a new season.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
It has local ties, suits, oh, the creators, Mike Judge.
Oh oh listen, but no, it's also back. King of
the Hill is back.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Oh I knew that. So King of the Hill came back?
And where was it? But it was number two streaming
of that one. Yeah, wow, huh?
Speaker 4 (20:29):
You know what every uh?
Speaker 6 (20:31):
Because you know, I get the newsletter from all the
newspapers every week. The Fort Worth Star Telegram has a
whole article. Here are all the DFW references and this
week's King of the Hill episode. Oh and I was
like that many people really paying attention, and then I
learned today that maybe they are.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Yeah, number two streaming show down.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Number one Netflix show just kicked off at second season.
I also did not watched the first season.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
This is tough.
Speaker 6 (20:53):
I'm talking about shows we haven't watched here, but popular
actress is the star of it. That's horror movie horror vibes,
beetlejuice vibes.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
But it's not that.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
It's Wednesday, Jenna or Tagan number one and by farah,
it's like the Adams Family Wednesday from the Adams Family.
And the person playing Wednesday is a huge star with
the kids, Jenn Ortega.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
She's a big, big deal. We have learned.
Speaker 6 (21:20):
Ben, this is news just for you. One of your
favorite actors is going to be joining a Gary Busey.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
No, no, not that one.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
You're actually maybe your all time favorite actor. Oh.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Kurt Russell. Kurt Russell, Wow.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Is going to be in a Believe it or not,
they're having another Yellowstone spin off.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
It's about time and he is going to be in it.
And I was like, man, they just lost ten hours
of his life. You'll get that. I'll give that full ten.
I'll give it my ten full ten. Yeah, you got it.
You can have ten hours. It's called yellow Belly with
Kurt Russell. That's probably enough.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Yeah, all right, there you have it. There's Kenvin Turner
making things happen out in the world. Coming up next, Skin,
where you gonna take something? Skin is well, Ben, it's
the age old question. How much meat is too much meat? Yep,
it is an age old question. Then everyone must ask
themselves at all times.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Yes, it is The Ben and Skin Show ninety seven
point one. The Eagle.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Thank you for hanging out with us today and we
are hanging out at the Pluckers Lovers in Greenville.
Speaker 5 (22:18):
Men.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
I just looked up on one of those giant screens
Ben and I saw being a member of Pluckers Club
Club Pluckers, Baby, those are a lot.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Of great advantages if you do that.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Come on out and join us, having wings, having some
beer during happy hour on a Friday. We're gonna be
at different Pluckers every other Friday during the football season,
so come and hang out with us.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
I want to give a special shout out though. You guys.
See Sarah over there. This is Sarah.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
It's just her birthday. They're celebrating their thirty wedding anniversary.
They're here all the way from Ireland. Oh, good day, night,
good day on the Bobby all right. So yes, they're
vacationing from Ireland thirty year wedding anniversary and they always
wanted to go to a plucker So congratulations, guys, that's great.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Let's get them a warm beer. Yeah, they're like this
beer is way too cold. Happy birthday, too.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
Happy birthday, unbelievable. Shout out to those nice folks.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Fiesta. Yeah, yeah, boy, you're making it real international KT.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
We got lots of cowboys to talk at the top
of the four o'clock hour, top of the five o'clock hour.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
But right now it's time for this track. Other edition.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
Thing is traffic.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Ben How much meat is too much meat? You know?
Speaker 1 (23:39):
I'm still looking. I'm still exploring. Yeah, I don't think
there's I've not found the end of.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
The meat tunnel yet.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Well, I asked because it was my meat tunnel. I
asked because it was my son's eighteenth birthday yesterday.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Oh, I know where this is going, and he wanted
to go to Fogo to chaw yep. And have you
been there, Kevin. I don't know if I've been to
that one specifically, but I know that they've been to.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
A Brazilian steakhouse where they're constantly just waving meat in
front of your face.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, I mean it is a parade of meat.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
And when you get there, it's a Brazilian steakhouse, right,
And you get there and you haven't sat down for
ten seconds, and there's suddenly three dudes hovering around your
table and or showing you their meat.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yep, and they're like, here do you want this?
Speaker 4 (24:23):
You know, and they start, you know, cutting it off
and you're and then you look, and then there's more meat,
and then before you know it, you're.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Surrounded by meat. I should have taught to you the
ways of the forest before you went in there.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Okay, what did I need to know?
Speaker 1 (24:34):
So the place you went that Fogo to Chow or whatever,
that location in off Legacy.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
We went to the Legacy West located. It's so nice
in there. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
I've been to Brazilian steakhouses before where it just feels
like you're kind of at a darker Denny's. Oh that's
just Leslie, dimly lit. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that is
like a nice restaurant.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
Look, it has that vibe, fancy bar and everything.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
What they do is they walk around with a lot
of surloon. Yeah, it's just filler steak. It's filler meat.
Oh and so it's the cheap stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Did you know this?
Speaker 1 (25:05):
And so the guy with the surloin, you'll notice you
got how many sirloin guys they have. That guy is
like a helicopter because if you get full on the
cheap stuff, that saves them money.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Okay, So you want the nicer, more select cuts.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
You want to find those guys, and those guys are
they're not as readily available.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
They're sitting at the bar having a drink, right, And
then there there.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Was a sausage guy. Oh, ok yeah, did you rock
that sausage? I tried the sausage. Yeah, some nice sausages.
But I'm telling you the VIP is the cheese guy. Okay,
the cheese bread guy. No, straight up cheese, cheese bread.
Tell them what they do with this cheese. So there's
this cheese the cheese guy. Well, last time I went
there with a bunch of friends for New Year's and
(25:44):
we had this great meal. All the kids are there.
You know, we had like forty people or whatever it was.
It was probably paying they ask to even wait on us.
But at the end, after I learned the system and
realized the surloin guy got lee.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Why is that guy like at our table? He's sitting
with us.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
My friends started teaching me the waves of the forest,
and he would go, he goes, I'll tell you what
this cheese guy, cheese guy is gonna be where it's at.
And I was like, really at a steakhouse. So the
cheese guy came over. It turns out he was a
big ben and Skin Show listener is that right, yeah,
And I was like, hey, dude, I hear this cheese
is incredible. So he hooked it up and he kept
coming back and I'll be damned if that cheese isn't
(26:18):
better than some of the steak.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
It's better than the sirloin. Okay, the cheese is good.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
The only problem I had was this particular cheese guy
on shift this time. He wanted to do something fancy
when they put the honey on it, because the honey
takes it to a new level.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
It does. It's just it's just the amount of honey.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
So you know, if you guys have seen honey be
poured before, there's a long string. So he comes up,
there's the cheese on my plate, and he dabs the
honey and then like waves the honey wand around and
so there's like a string of honey on my arm.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
And I'm like, that was unnecessary. He's doing salt based.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
He's honey babe, and and and getting honey on your arm,
you gotta go take a shower.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, coming off.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Do you understand what he's saying though about the cheese
like it it's it's basically the same size as a
grilled cheese. Sandwich, but it's a block of cheese with
no bread, and then they cut it into smaller pieces
and it's kind of like a it's kind of like
a breaded cheese finger without the breading. Yeah, think of
it thinking like a mozzarella stick, but it's not mozzarella.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Imagine peta being cheese with nothing on it. It's just
cheese and uh and it's delicious. I might go back
there in the morning and get some. But anyways, I
just so, what happened with the did you how did
you get it off your arm?
Speaker 2 (27:38):
I eventually went to the bathroom. Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
That guy's terrorizing people with the honey. He is, and
it's it's so unnecessary. I mean, it's like, I don't
need a lot of presentation with the honey. I just
put the honey there and move on.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
It's fine.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
But you know what, man, awesome dinner experience. Have that
much meat in your face all night long. Delicious meat.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
I will go back there.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
It is for a second date. Things skin is tracking.
How much meat is too much meat?
Speaker 2 (28:05):
All right?
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Coming up next, we go around the sports. We get
back into Cowboys Eagles. We do it next live from
Pluckers and Dallas Off Lovers in Greenville. That's next on
the eagle, Ben Rogers, Chefskin Wade, Kevin, kt Turner, Christina
not here in today?
Speaker 2 (28:19):
What is she doing again?
Speaker 4 (28:20):
Is she bachelorette party?
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Bachelorette party? We got married Florida? Was it her bachelorette party?
Speaker 4 (28:26):
No friend?
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Group groups, group groups groups, Yeah, I don't really know
the story.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
Yep, doesn't seem like you're that good of a friend
that she went. She hopes you have a great time. Yep.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
We are live from Pluckers in Dallas, so excited to
be here. We love, love, love Pluckers, and anytime we're
doing remotes at Pluckers, it reminds us that it's football season.
What a great place to come watch football, whether it's
college or whether it's the pros ors TVs. As far
as I can see and the godly the wings are delicious.
And of course every Plucker's in town serves the big
German that is Dirk's Beer. That is the beer that
(29:05):
honors Dirk Limited minimal hops in a smooth finish, and
it's made by a roller town of brewer. We're invested in,
so big up to everybody who's heading out to pluckers,
either today at this location or anytime this weekend or
this entire football season.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
We got a news.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Quickie coming up at four point thirty. We've got wild
stories from burning Man. We got some music news, and
then we've got some powerball news. All that's coming up,
but right now, Frankel and Frankel are good friends. At
Frankel and Frankel two one four three three three thirty
three thirty three. They're who you need to call if
you've been involved in a wreck that's not your fault.
Call them from the scene. Never too early to get
(29:41):
them involved. Costs you nothing to call the Frankels. They
only get paid if they reach a settlement on your
behalf two one four all three's for Franklin Frankel, and
they want you to know that.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Right now, it's time for this. Now is around the
squats k all the sports y.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
I did.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
So we were talking about in the first hour, just
some you know, some hot thoughts on the Cowboys game.
But I wouldn't really want to lock in in this
segment on this sequence of plays that happened right before
the weather delay. Okay, because lightning was too close to
the stadium or whatever. Back in my day, we would
have played through it.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
But I want to hear more about your day. Whatever.
What position were you? Many many positions, depending how much
my weight fluctuated. He's the beginning of position flex right, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
I was kind of a pullback, kind of a tight
ened maybe, kind of a bigger running back, kind of
slower receiver, possession.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Receiver, strong safety. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
So it's twenty one to twenty at halftime, because the
Cowboys manage the clock to perfection.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Let's go.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Brandon Aubrey looks as good as he always was, knocks
it down twenty one to twenty feeling good.
Speaker 6 (30:53):
Uh, and then you come out and get a stop. Okay,
for the first time all game. You stopped you because
on second and third down you ran out two cornerback
blitzes out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Let's go. I was beautiful. So it's like, all right,
this is phil pretty. Where was it earlier? Digs didn't
gonna tackle anybody?
Speaker 5 (31:09):
Though?
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Was it early? Why did they have such a bad planner?
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Go ahead, Well, it's twenty four to twenty and the Eagles,
I'm sorry, the Eagles did go down and get a
field goal in that first drift. So twenty four twenty, which,
by the way, I was so when that happened, I
was out with my son. I looked up at the screen.
It said that last year that dude was one for
seven from fifty. He always makes long kicks against the
cow Jake Kelliott.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
I was sitting there going, oh, badass, this is great.
We were going to hold him, and then he drilled it.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
Also, if you full around and kick a touchback on
the uh on the kickoff, now they get the ball
to thirty five. Now there just used to be the
twenty back in our day when they played through lightning storm.
So remember yeah, so it's twenty four to twenty, and
then you have this big play where Miles Sanders takes
up the left side for forty four yards and he
does get caught.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Like we're like, that's the tough part of this.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
He not only got caught, the guy strategically circle. Yeah,
linebackers circle, and their speeds were posted. Miles was going
eighteen and the linebacker's going twenty or something, and so
he circled around him to try to knock the ball out.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
That's tough, and that's where you're going Okay, well, if
that was Jayden Blue, that's nice. Jaydan Blue. Apparently he
was inactive. They say it's for special team's reasons. It
sounds like they don't trust him. That's what That's what
my vibe is on it right now.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
I could be wrong.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
And because Miles Sanders ended up fumbling, which we'll get
to later, Jadane Blube is probably active next week.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Back in your day, you trusted players like trust players.
In my day, it was all about trust.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Now, that run was beautiful and Mike McCarthy could have
only dreamed of drawing up a play like that.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
This new guy that everyone's raving over the run game
was awesome last night. They had a lot of good things.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Mean, Clayton Adams, the offensive coordinator.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
So when do you give credit to him? When do
you give credit to Shotty? How do you know? Well,
this is that's the going that's gonna be interesting.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
But anything that's a run play and giving Clayton Adams
a lot of credit for because this is what he
was known for in Arizona. So this is any cool
unplay you see that looks new and different, he should
get the credit. He ended up getting a head coaching
job out of this that this ends up working out.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
Both The offense is really good.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
Uh, I don't know after what shot he did last night,
him and the new clock coach, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
Pretty good. I like what shot he's doing so far,
so forty four yards very nice. Okay, So here we are.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
We're down there first and about we're first and town
walking on the twelve yard line. Yeah, you could still
get a first down. I think they're at the eleven
or maybe it was the twelve. You could still get
a first down.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Oh man, this is great.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
About to score, take the lead, and then George Pickens
just can't let go of his his old self and
he goes at the neck of a defender. What a
personal foul.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
It was so just out of nowhere, dumb, such a
stupid play, so unnecessary, amazing. But I was watching that going, yeah, man,
we signed up for this. Yeah, you know, this is
no surprise to anybody that he would get a personal
foul like this. It's pretty much what's gonna happen.
Speaker 4 (33:52):
Al Why Brad Sham got mad at everybody on Twitter,
It's like, let's see him play first. All the talking
camp though he's a new man and might. No, it's
a game, literally one game, and he's like everything that
you knew he was about.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
He can't help it.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
It's really easy to talk about how you're able to
control your emotions now until adrenaline enforces your emotions. Then
there's the past. The seam route to Ferguson. It's first
in twenty two here, and it was underthrown.
Speaker 6 (34:18):
Now there's speculation was it purposely underthrown like a back
shoulder throw where you can try to get the try
to get the needs of past interference as well.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Why not get it? I thought Ferguson could have adjusted
better and caught it. Personal.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Yeah, I didn't think he had a good game. He
had like one or two good catches, but on that
I didn't think he would look to that good.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
But I saw.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
I watched Dak watch the replay of the throw right
after he made it, and he seemed to regret ye
throw a little bit.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
It's good. Yeahn second now is a bit of a
wasted play.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
Third and twenty two again, up the seam to Ferguson,
very catchable ball, Reid blake and Chip kind of hits
him in the neck a little bit, and that's.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
All you need for a flag these days. Back in
my day, that was.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
A clean If anything, he was trying to get out
of the way and not hit him. I was like,
that's this is the biggest gift ever. That was not
It should not have been a flag.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Football has changed so much.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
So remember the video NFL's Greatest Decapitations Day.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah he jacked up. Yeah, great videos.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
And then and now the old adage goes that God
wanted Texas Stadium to be opened so he could watch
his favorite team.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
I think it was worded differently, but yeah, because he
was betting on his favorite time that he might have
been gambling.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
Yeah, So God sees Miles Sanders fumble and he's like, Jesus,
can we get the storm going in here?
Speaker 2 (35:34):
I'm watching.
Speaker 4 (35:36):
So the weather delay happened because God watching his favorite team,
couldn't stomach the Miles Sanders fumble. It was I mean,
all that happens and then the game stops. It was
so weird and not as weird as the spinning in
the Dex cleavage in the first you know, at the
get the game, I understand it, but like that whole
sequence of place, I was sitting there going this is
going to be the story of this game, and it
(35:58):
ends up not being it, Like the story of the
game is seen.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
Yeah, I mean it's incredible.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
Yeah, that sequence is nuts. But back to the Jalen
Carter thing, the spitting. You know, later on the footage
of Dak spitting first came out and the people like,
oh my god.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Look he's skilled.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
There's a huge difference between spitting on the ground and
spitting on a person. Yes, and uh, Jalen Carter handled
that horribly. But my main takeaway from it when I
saw the footage of Dak doing it, I was like,
look how comfortable Deck is. Like here he is playing
the world champs, that's their best, most intimidating defensive player,
and he's just smiling, raising his eyebrows at him.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Like I thought, it was pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
The whole night, he looked happy, he looked comfortable, and
he played really well. I know his numbers don't really
show up, but wouldn't see if he played well. See
he dropped a hundred yards of his past. Yeah, no,
no doubt about it.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
Well, you know, Dak's a I mean there's a lot
of different franchise quarterbacks. Yeah, but he's a franchise quarterback.
We've known this, We've watched him a million times. Dak's
always been a spinner. I mean, some quarterbacks are swallowers.
It's a whole different thing. I don't know those quarterback
Coming up next though, after this word from Ben and
Skin about our friends over at Reliant, let's talk about
some of the defensive standouts and how they performed after
(37:13):
that weather delay, because our's a lot of good things
that happened, and we'll do that next.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
All right, it's coming up in just about three minutes,
live from Pluckers in Dallas.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
Freak Jesus just walked in. Thanks are going really well here,
incredible Eagle. We're here at Pluckers, Lovers and Greenville. Come
on out and join us. It is a Friday afternoon.
It's a great place to get your weekend started.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Right with beers and wings.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
We're gonna talk about the Cowboys defensive performance after the
rain delay. But I did want to say this, watching
Jalen Carter walk off the field after spitting on Dak,
I really like seeing that that guy was.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Still in the mix.
Speaker 4 (37:48):
What is the name of that Who was the name
of that guy that escorted him off? The field that
was involved in sudden Yeah. Dom, it's good to know
that Dom is still around.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
The Tom's amazing.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
Indeed, this guy as that guy is amazing. You know,
his life is crazy. He's like a Simpsons character to me.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
He's a fake security guy, right yeah, but he's got
deep mob ties.
Speaker 6 (38:09):
And he makes money off like working with some waste
management company. Oh god, but it's like so he works
basically NFL security and he's in the mafia and a
trash company.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
I mean, okay, it's the Sopranos. Yeah, that is there's
a great so much money and sixteen candles.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Remember when his daughter is getting married, he meets the
other parents and that's an Italian stereotype.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
I d have a little bit in construction waste management.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
All that's speculated, but I think the waste management thing
came out a few years ago, so I think. I mean,
the mafia stuff clearly is speculation, but.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
The waste waste management is always It's amazing because you
can go put bodies in the waist.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
But anyways, let's talk about the Cowboys defensive performance after
that weather delay. Kevin, Well, did you guys like the
early returns from Kenny Clark.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Yeah, sure, uh and I you know, you'd have to
go back and like really look at the film to see.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
What you know.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
After the storm delay, they were incredible. So was was
he leading the charge? Was everybody leaving the charge? They
just scheme it better they get more guys in the box.
I'm not sure, but yeah, definitely like the early returns,
they were better against the run.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
They just couldn't get really pressure. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
They literally like ran no blitzes in the first half. Yeah,
and the second half they did, and it changed everything.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Because you can't get pressure with just four guys if
you don't have Micah.
Speaker 4 (39:31):
And that's what they told us in the press conference.
We're gonna scheme it. We're gonna scheme our pressure, Sam pressure.
You can't skime run defense. Marshawn Neeland was awesome. Yeah,
you're second d Bick.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Yeah. That James Houston guy is awesome. Who what's his deal?
So I saw that he was Was he a colt?
Speaker 4 (39:47):
But he had like his few sacks and like three
years ago, Yeah, and then had one sack over his
next thirteen games, but he had injuries.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
I didn't even know who that guy was.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
My biggest concern defensively leaving that is what the hell
Zebra Flu's thinking to begin the game, Like that was
your plan, just to bring four drop back and no
put no pressure and not have a spy on Jalen hurts, Like,
if they didn't get into twenty one, you know, give
up twenty one points in the first three.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Drives, they win the game.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
It's like credit for the adjustment, but no credit in fact,
minus points for not doing it faster, right, because it's
like that's the whole thing is you want these things,
like the idea of halftime adjustments are not like that real.
I mean it happens sometimes, but like, this needs to
happen now.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
They're clearly we have not gotten close to stopping them
in the first half. What about a one hour weather
delay adjustment?
Speaker 4 (40:34):
Yeah, I mean for sure, I mean a little bit
of that happened before. But yeah, no, there's no doubt.
I thought, though, there's a lot of things to like
really like me, if you look at it, I don't
know Treyvon Diggson to run Bland will And and Kyle
Elm should get credit for all this, but the fact
that their top two wide receivers had four catches total.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Yeah, like twenty five yards is amazing. Again, you'd have
to leave the film. But I think that, I mean,
part of it is Jalen Hurts is just scared to
throw the ball. I think, like he's a running quarterback.
But I mean like it was not a thread at all.
And once they realized, oh my god, he's not gonna
do anything to us with his arm, and they loaded
the box and started blitzing, it was like a different game.
But yes, those corners deserve credit because they, I mean,
(41:15):
for whatever reason, those receivers were held in check.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
I kept thinking about overshown a little bit, like, Okay,
what's it gonna look like when he's back, which maybe two.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
Months from now, but he's your star now, Your pressure
back change things a lot. Yeah, so I felt good
about it. I don't know, white boy metal linebacker's good.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
A little bit later, let's talk about Dak, let's talk
about Shoddy, Let's talk about some mother stell off for
a bit.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
We'll do it because we want to, not because you're
telling us to.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Coming up next in the news quickie, four wild stories
from Burning Man and some music news all come your way.
We'll get back into the Cowboys at five. But the
Benet's Skin Show, coming to you live from Pluckers in
Dallas continues next.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
All right, guys, got some stories to get to. So
what are they? Over the weekend?
Speaker 4 (41:57):
Burning Man was happening can For those that don't know,
that's it's a music and arts festival that takes place
in Black Rock.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
City, Nevada.
Speaker 4 (42:05):
It's like a desert and there is multiple crazy stories.
We'll start with here. We'll start with this.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
I'll start with starting with here.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
You know what I'm gonna work that in. Yeah, a
man was found dead lying in a pool of blood.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
Oh ed, Burning Man. That's a band we play here
on the Eagle right. Was it his blood? It was
his Yes, it was his bood s. Question why was it? A?
Speaker 4 (42:30):
Why was he doing? A? Why was he going? Cannonball?
Speaker 2 (42:33):
And then died?
Speaker 4 (42:35):
Russian guy thirty seven. Police found him and said he
was obviously deceased, not just like, oh he might be
he might be still kicking. You're never partially deceased. Just
found him for campground nine to fifteen Saturday night, right
when they were about to light though with the wooden
Man on fire, because that's the thing they do every year.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
Is that cancel it or still doing?
Speaker 6 (42:56):
Oh no, he can't get going. Yeah, you can't stop
Burning Man. Then dust storm blew in and it blew
up the It damaged the orgy tent. Oh no, the
famous orgy tent.
Speaker 2 (43:07):
That they have there?
Speaker 5 (43:08):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Everyone welcome? I think if you've got a ticket now
you got to buy a ticket.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
Yea.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
The ip wristband probably okay, And they got to see
how clean you are.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
I guarantee you. We know some people who have been
to that. Oh yeah, I think you had one person
that we worked with tell us about it. He did very,
very very specifically.
Speaker 6 (43:26):
There were pictures. It looked like mad Max. Also, a
woman who didn't know she was pregnant gave birth at
Burning Man. Her name's Kayla. They were staying in an RV,
just like camping going on in the middle of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
That's shocking that you didn't know you were pregnant.
Speaker 6 (43:41):
Yeah, she realized she was in labor and then they
got lucky though, because the neighboring campers, one of them
was an nic you nurse, okay, and so they were
able to birth it. It was a month premature, but
it was about three and a half pound girl.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
What a story.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
I had my baby at burning Man.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
Lady said quote.
Speaker 4 (44:01):
Had I known about the pregnancy, Burning Man would have
been the last place on this planet I would have been. Oh,
you know, because it's known to be like d it's
out in the middle of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
It's pretty debaucherous too.
Speaker 6 (44:12):
And the last burning Man crazy story that I have
for you, though, involves a man by the name of
James Patrick. So he's sitting on the desert sand meditating.
I'm going to assume on some type of hallucigenics. Maybe not,
but he's sitting down and the sand, and then he
got ran over by a cyber truck.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
God, I don't sorry. He was just hanging out in
a cyber truck rain him over? Was there someone in
it driving?
Speaker 1 (44:37):
That's that's the most that's the most twenty first century
story ever.
Speaker 7 (44:42):
A guy's meditating against some sand and Elon's cyber trucks
runs over, and it looks like some dumble looking it
looks like that thing from Logan's Run. It looks like
lo fi sci fi screw you meditator.
Speaker 2 (44:59):
Elon. Both of his feet were crushed.
Speaker 6 (45:02):
He needed to be airlifted to Reno which that happens
so famously. The Reno hospital apparently is always that weekend,
like overstaffed and ready to go because of the amount
of care flights that happened from Burning Man. Wow, because
something goes batsone gets dehydrated. Where they going to go?
Speaker 2 (45:20):
You're not close to anything. You can't just drive there,
don't they go?
Speaker 4 (45:24):
And like, if I remember correctly, they go and they
install utilities for it, like they create this weird little
city for a week.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
Or how long it is. It's very crazy.
Speaker 4 (45:35):
His wife said that she was nearby and their twin
thirteen year olds were there when the guy was meditating
and got hit by the cyber truck.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
What are you taking your thirteen year old twins to
Burning Man for? You got kids out there here? Shouldn't
I told you about the orgy tent. You shouldn't have
kids there. You got to keep the kids away from
the orgy tent. That's obvious.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
Yeah, but what happens with the windstorm hits and the
orgy tent blows away, then everyone's kind of a part
of the orgy. Weirdly, that said, the eyes wide shut tent.
This is a fun note from one of the many
articles I've read this week about Burning Man. Thousands of
people are injured every year at the nine day music
and art event, with some facing steep medical debt after
being transported from the festival's remote location in the Nevada
(46:19):
Desert to the Reno hospital. The guy who got his
feet crushed by the cyber truck, I mean inches away
from die hole on body yeaheah, fifty thousand dollars hospital
bill there, oh, because the helicopter ride, you know.
Speaker 2 (46:34):
And it's chaos too.
Speaker 1 (46:34):
It's not like there's roads, so people are just driving
wherever they want to drive.
Speaker 4 (46:39):
You do you remember the footage of Chris Rock just roaming, Yeah,
from Burning Man and Ketching.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
Why would you close your eyes and just meditate anywhere?
It's like and man was killed meditating on six thirty five.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Doesn't seem safe. It's insane and everyone's on hallucinogenics. I
think it's up there though. He's meditating.
Speaker 1 (46:59):
He's trying to like get in touch with something and
like really feel the energy connect with the universe.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
And it leads to a fifty thousand dollars hospital building
and his feet and I'll just point the wrong way.
So does that guy not believe in meditation anymore.
Speaker 4 (47:13):
No, he's done.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
How could you?
Speaker 4 (47:17):
It's like the met Gala of music festivals, I think,
because I think people just go to tell everyone that
they went there, yeah, and that did they come back,
and they're like, I mean it was fine.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
It's just kind of a lot. It's way out there.
You gotta came. Certain times.
Speaker 4 (47:31):
People love the camp, so I shouldn't. It's probably evolved
so much over time though. Originally it's like, let's go
out in the desert and do an art installation, and
then it grows and becomes Then famous people get involved
and sentinels involved, you.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
Know, celebrity chef Bobby Flay is there. It's almost too much,
almost too much, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
Daughtry, ye oh, incredible.
Speaker 4 (47:51):
All right?
Speaker 5 (47:51):
Is that it?
Speaker 2 (47:52):
That's all? Yeah, that's all all right.
Speaker 1 (47:54):
We're live at Pluckers and Dallas Lovers in Greenville coming
up next, we got music news. Then we'll get back
into the Cowboys game. Getting your Friday. Started to ride
at Pluckers in Dallas. The Eagle is back next.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
All right, it's the Bend and Skin Show nine se
point one Eagle. Sorry, we were chit chatting with a
nice listener here.
Speaker 1 (48:11):
Dude, I think that's one of my favorite listeners I've
ever met. Like, what a great guy. And dude, he's
been listening to our show like he had. He said
he hadn't missed a show in five years. Yeah, incredible, awesome.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
Here he's here with his doggie.
Speaker 4 (48:24):
I mean Christina's missing today, I know she is. Yeah,
and then Raphael walks in, Oh my good, look at that.
What a day it is at the Pluckers Lovers in Greenville.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
As we just hang out.
Speaker 4 (48:36):
Sometimes we're chit chat and then we're late coming back
from a song.
Speaker 2 (48:40):
Sorry about all that.
Speaker 4 (48:41):
We'll get back in the cowboys stuff, cussing the cowboys
coming up at five o'clock. I'd like to give away
some tickets for Addison October Fest right now, you guys
game for that? Cool?
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Yeah, stright.
Speaker 4 (48:52):
Use the iHeart app the talk back feature the first
person that leaves their name, their number, their email address
and can tell us what was the most streamed show
on all of television the first week of August.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
We talked about it earlier. I'll give you a hint.
Speaker 4 (49:09):
It's a show that's named after a day of the week.
So even if you weren't listening, you have a one
in seven chance of getting it. Getting those Addison October
Fest tickets, use the iHeart app, the talkback feature, name, number,
email address, and you are in the mix.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
But right now we have a segment that does not.
Speaker 4 (49:27):
Have an intro, and it's brought to you by the
Great Rodney Anderson NFM Lending N nine eight five fifty
two hundred. Whether you got a new house, you need
a mortgage, maybe you're looking at the whole cash out
refinanced situation. Rodney's been in the game forever. He knows
all the ins and outs. He's our guy. He has
so many repeat customers because they're like, I'm working with
that guy nine two nine eighty five fifty two hundred
(49:50):
for our good friend, Rodney Anderson.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Now here's Kevin all right.
Speaker 4 (49:54):
So one thing that's kind of interesting is a desperate
ploy by a classic band and like tonight they're doing
a Chiefs and Chargers in Brazil on what will probably
be a very slippery field and it's gonna be on YouTube.
So there's a lot of speculation of, hey, this is
YouTube gonna crash out or is it gonna be able
(50:14):
to handle it?
Speaker 2 (50:15):
We were talking earlier too about prize picks.
Speaker 4 (50:17):
They got a couple of those Max discount squares going
on with Mahomes and Travis Kelcey.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
So you might want to check use our promo code
score se R you get your pre fifty bucks. Well done.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Okay, so that's the only place it's available tonight. YouTube
first time, Yeah, wow. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (50:35):
YouTube's doing some interesting things too. They also it's weird.
It doesn't appeal to me, but it appeals to a
certain demographic. All the Twilight movies, they're gonna put them
on YouTube really a couple of weeks so you can
watch all those.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
Do you have to have a YouTube subscription or is
it's gonna to be there?
Speaker 4 (50:51):
Yeah, because i mean YouTube is huge, but it's the
same thing earlier.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
You're going over the most stream shows, right.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
Some of them are just Okay, this is an old
show that was popular, it's now redistributed and now everyone's
going to that platform.
Speaker 2 (51:03):
They'll watch that show. So that's the reason they would
do that too.
Speaker 4 (51:06):
That's all that. Shows are just doing new seasons of
their show even though they've been gone for fifteen years.
I mean, Scrubs is coming back next year and I'm
thrilled about it because I love Scrubs. So they're like
little little announcements, a new cast member, the same cast
members coming back after fifteen years. So if I want
to watch this game tonight, do I have to have
a subscription to the YouTube. I just go to YouTube
to batch up Chiefs Brazil and it'll be right there
(51:28):
and I'll watch it.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
I mean, I would do Chiefs Chargers now. I want
to see him play Brazil.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
But my point of this whole thing is that Travis
Kelcey will be playing incredible. Will Taylor be there?
Speaker 2 (51:37):
Who cares? It's a whole thing. Travis and Taylor? Well
the band Foreigner hold on, Yeah, I know it, No,
keep going. I know it's weird. They posted on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (51:47):
Deer, Taylor Swift and Travis kelce we know what love
is because their song I want to know what love is.
Speaker 2 (51:54):
I want you to show me.
Speaker 4 (51:56):
We spent forty years figuring it out and now you
guys have two. Please accept this as our former offer
to be your wedding band. Oh wow, what I put
yourself out there and saying that times aren't good for you.
Speaker 2 (52:08):
Yeah, please hire. We need to be in the lose.
Who wouldn't want that gig? Yeah, and let me tell you,
times are good for them.
Speaker 1 (52:14):
My what.
Speaker 4 (52:15):
My wife had this weird thing where later in life
she suddenly loved all the Foreigner catalog after hating it
as a child. She also loves Taylor Swift, so she
loves this story. And I'm not lying to you. I
think I'm going to go to see Foreigner at Choctaw
the first weekend and on All.
Speaker 1 (52:35):
Awesome Corner used to be like one of the most
important bands and a young white person's life.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
Pittonball Wizard is one of those few songs and over
every word too. That's uh who oh god, jukebox hero,
I'm jupbox hero.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
I can see how you got a mix?
Speaker 4 (52:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, things that might be at a bar
an arcade, jukebox Hero. Foreigner here is essentially pulling a
Travis Kelsey. They're just shooting their shot. Yeah what Travis did?
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (53:02):
Like, oh, maybe I can meet her. They have a
new singer, now, don't they. I don't think what Mick
or whatever his name is can hit all those notes anymore. Ben,
Huge news for you. Radiohead getting back together for a
new tour.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Let's go it's uh, they're coming with a new upbeat
style of music. It's very happy, yes, and they're just
celebrating life. Happy to be there, kids songs.
Speaker 4 (53:22):
Yeah, it's eight years since they've toured and they're going
to be doing some stuff in Europe in heavy rumors
that they will hit the North American tour in twenty
twenty six.
Speaker 2 (53:32):
You know why they're doing this, right because of the implication.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Yes, no, they're just like, Man, I hate that Oasis
is getting so much attention right now, dude, beautiful.
Speaker 4 (53:41):
No. I kind of thought they were going to do
that before, like whow Oasis was doing it? Yeah, kind of,
but then that would be Radioheads stooping to the petty
level that Oasis stays at at all times. But I
think it's pretty awesome. And if they do come to
North America. I actually owe a friend Radiohead concert tickets,
so I'm gonna have to buy them. Oh wow for
him to go.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Why do you owe somebody that?
Speaker 4 (54:02):
Because he got me tickets to a show Radiohead show
No LCD sound System a while back, so I now
him tickets to Radio h It has to be Radiohead,
that's what he said. He's like because he wouldn't let
me pay. Oh, so he's like, I'll just Radiohead tours again.
You just take care of me there, And I'm.
Speaker 2 (54:19):
Like, is good because nobody thought Radiohead on tour again.
Speaker 4 (54:22):
I took the gamble, but I was also, man, those
radio Hea tickets are going to be way more expensive.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
We'll figure it out. But that was like going, hey, man,
I'll get you seats to when the Beatles come through.
Speaker 4 (54:32):
Yeah, you know, nobody thought they were gonna do it again.
I'll go ahead and buy you Cowboys playoff tickets.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
Now see them in Arizona? Cowboys Radiohead? Yeah? Did you
see him? Did we went to Arizona one time? I
didn't see in Arizona because CJ. Wilson was sitting right
in front of us to see it. Do you remember that? Yeah?
Which show was that was before me?
Speaker 4 (54:52):
I bet you'all saw him at training camp? Okay, yeah,
probably something. Did they go to Scottsdale or something, Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
Something like that? Yeah, I'm totally have you seen them?
Speaker 5 (55:00):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (55:00):
Six or seven? Said twice twice? We went to.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
Chicago to see him one time. I've seen him here
multiple times. Went to Houston to see him one time.
Maybe we did go see? Right?
Speaker 2 (55:11):
Was Callishaw with us? I saw him first time I
saw him there? Yes, we did.
Speaker 4 (55:16):
I totally forgot. We saw him at that arena right
by w all those restaurants.
Speaker 2 (55:20):
We sat down at a row and C. J. Wilson
was right in front of him.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
You saw him in Glendale? Yes, God, I forgot we
did that town with two first names.
Speaker 2 (55:28):
I even remember my wife being pissed that I saw
Radiohead without her.
Speaker 6 (55:31):
So, uh, did you know that the Irving police have
weighed in on the Eagles players spitting on Dak Prescott.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
No, the Irving Police Department is.
Speaker 6 (55:40):
Yes, interesting to hear from them, after what all they've
been through over the last thirty years.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
What did they say to him next? Oh that's a
good Oh my god, absolutely incredible. Pease that is coming
your way, Dex, come on, let's get cuss up.
Speaker 6 (56:14):
So, uh, you know, the game begins last night and
you have the open the Big three, right, you get
a fight, you get an injury, and you get an ejection.
Oh and then you get a commercial too before we
even start playing football.
Speaker 4 (56:29):
So that's pretty good. Like I was like, oh, yeah,
we're back, and think if it's the kickoff you don't know.
You don't get the fight and the ejection. Maybe the fight,
but you don't get the ejection without the injury because
they're out there for all that time.
Speaker 2 (56:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (56:40):
God, dude, four got well, first play of the year.
Speaker 2 (56:43):
He's done and he knew it. He was wearing it.
He was like, I can't even believe it's just happening.
What the f man? I do want to say this too.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
Watching that broadcast, there's entirely too many people on these
NFL broadcast It's out of contr you know. It's like,
here's a team of four people. Let's get one quick
sentence from each person. Yeah, here's another team standing by.
Of these four people, here's three other people. Here's what
they think. And it's like I only have time to
say one thing. Boom, you're done. And it's like, why
(57:13):
have them so many people out there when they can't
contribute anything with any depth.
Speaker 4 (57:18):
Yeah, and then all nine have to pick, and uh,
Maria Taylor host it goes. We were, uh, we're worried
that we're gonna get memed here because all nine of
them picked the Eagles, And I was thinking about that
on the last drive even I was like, oh, this
is gonna be great.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
I've saw all the experts are gonna take it in
the shorts. That's what happened to the twenty eleven MAVs.
Like the entire ESPN is just.
Speaker 1 (57:39):
A wall of everybody. I never doubted him, Now you
never did. You never thought I said. I said, they're
gonna be the one and done boys. This is the
year they win their championship and then they won't want.
Speaker 2 (57:50):
Another if they'll be done after that. Yeah, ever again,
Oh that would suck.
Speaker 5 (57:56):
So.
Speaker 4 (57:56):
Uh, the spit thing happens too, and that's huge, and
Worth is trying to balance. Uh do we focus on
the hurt guy or do we focus on the big
scuffle over here? That's clearly a big deal. The MVP
of the entire spit gate is the water boy. The
water boy in there who looked like a big head
from Silicon Valley. He's just sitting there watching the spit happen,
looks at it, his.
Speaker 2 (58:17):
Eyes light up.
Speaker 4 (58:18):
It was great. I thought he kind of looked like
Slimmer Joel Haley osmitt.
Speaker 2 (58:23):
Okay, yeah, you can find a way to make it
work for really anyone. Shippy.
Speaker 4 (58:31):
So the spit happens and it's a big deal. We'll
find out later that Dak was spitting. You know, Dak
spits all the time. Though, Dak is a spit Like seriously,
that's I touched my buddy sod from the One Star
Cowboys podcast.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
It's gonna be a part of the Haymaker.
Speaker 6 (58:45):
It sounds like, dude, all these years like covering Dak
spits all the time, and you have Dak probably used
to dip too, though, so I mean, I would imagine,
but the spit happens.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
Jalen Carter's crazy now. Jalen Carter, do you guys remember
his backstory? Uh, ninth pick out of Georgia, I pick
out Georgia. Him had the uh well he was in
a car accident. Oh he was the one someone died. Yeah,
that's why I dropped in the draft. He would have
been clear topic. In fact, I saw a couple of
people tweet this, like football experts going and this is
(59:19):
why I dropped in number nine in the draft. Can't
win with him. And I'm like, they literally want.
Speaker 2 (59:24):
With him, literally just like it his third year too, right,
Like how long? It's unbelievable?
Speaker 4 (59:29):
Yeah, year two, Like we need to think about what
we tweet sometimes Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
Uh so he was a rookie last year.
Speaker 4 (59:39):
I believe it was a rookie.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
Wow, unless my time is off year time a second
year player.
Speaker 2 (59:45):
I think this is his third year. I think it's
his second year. Okay, I defer to you.
Speaker 1 (59:49):
I could look it up, but we're just doing a
second like no one could ever Yeah, you know what,
I'll find it.
Speaker 2 (59:54):
I think anyone could ever know. I look forward to
him knowing the answer.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
He was drafted twenty twenty three, first round, so he
is starting three. Okay, good job, everybody in your face, Kevin.
So when we draft experts, Yeah, he's ejected.
Speaker 4 (01:00:06):
It's not in the NFL rule book that if you
spit on someone that you get ejected.
Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
So the ref's ref discretion.
Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
It was.
Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
It was a ref discretion.
Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
And you know, Dax's reaction was pretty great because Dak
was just gonna laugh and like what And then after
the game, Dak was like, man, I didn't think he
was gonna get ejected.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Yeah, I mean, and then collins Worth gives.
Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
Up this because you know they get inside information from
the coaches. Collins Worth he shot his water early. He goes, well,
that was eighty percent of the Cowboys game plan.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Was stopping Jalen Carter. Incredible. I was like, okay, so
we know that.
Speaker 6 (01:00:43):
Well, the Irving police have decided to weigh in. I
guess since they don't have to worry about the White
House anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Well, oh, that was a copel issue? Was it? Compel?
Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
Really?
Speaker 2 (01:00:53):
It was not far from our buddy Rubens House, Valley
Ranchers and Compel tex Wow, that's hard to believe.
Speaker 4 (01:00:58):
Yeah, they put a tweet of a police officer riding
a ticket and it's a spitting not just a no
no in the NFL Texas Penal Code twenty two oh one.
In Texas, the penal code does not define spitting as
a standalone of fence and said spitting on a person
is considered assault.
Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
It's a Class C and misdemeanor assault.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
I think we've talked about this, did y'all know? I
didn't know that we talked about this for some reason?
Put your body fluids on somebody else? Yeah, you can't
just do that. You're paying that? Oh yeah, right, then
it's a transaction. What if they're paying you? That is
r Kelly situation.
Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
That's just a job.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
That's the kind of person I want to know I
could get paid. I had no idea. I had no idea.
What is the Texas pen code?
Speaker 4 (01:01:46):
A little long and a little little left.
Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
Yeah, the ballpeen hammer, ballpeen hammering.
Speaker 6 (01:01:52):
I got a segment of the ballpeen hammer right, not
for today, but man, I've been sitting on it for
a while. I've been sitting on this ballpeen hammer for
a while. Okay, who am about whyt's name? That it's crazy? Yeah,
ceedee lamb. Seven drops last year, four last night. Even
the last one they're calling a drop.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
Oh they are.
Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
I think I don't have a problem with what the
Cowboys did there, but I would have liked for them
to have hurried called the fourth and three play before
the two minute warning, because you give giving yourself a
fourth time out.
Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
But it was too close. Yeah, it was like two fifteen.
That decision's got to be made.
Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
The cock is running, you've got to be You've got
to be so dialed in for that play. And he was, dude,
he was ready for the blitz right, like that's a
quick throw. He had to get rid of that ball. Yeah.
The thing on that was though, I'm sure and he
was technically, I guess the open out. It's that's tough.
He was on ketchup more than three. That's where they had.
They decided to wait, try to draw the Eagles off sides.
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Which they're not gonna happen, but.
Speaker 6 (01:02:50):
Like, that's a tough decision for shotting, Like I was
gonna make that call, literally, because the worst thing that
can happen is you rush a play and the two
minute warning happens, and then you lose in both of
those scenario right there, But they had time to go
draw something up there and Turpin was underneath and it
looked like he was kind of covered by the linebacker.
Speaker 4 (01:03:07):
Boy, they Turpin ran a marathon last night. He had
that motion is incredible. Yeah, and then ceedee lamb, you know,
drops the tough one right there and the other throat.
Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
Look, it's it's tough to be mad at CD because
he's awesome, But geez, you know what, I'll put it
to you like this, And I was saying this earlier,
and I don't know if you guys had thought about
this or not. I'm not mad at CD or whatever.
I'm like, oh, we lost this game because of CD.
Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
Lamb.
Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
But you there are different expectations for the best of
the best, and we all agree he's one of the
best of the best at that position.
Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
It's why he's paid that much. None of us have
a problem with his contract. And it might be different
if it was a different game, but it's to start
the season.
Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
All the lights are on you. You're against the Super
Bowl champ and you expect that. And maybe I'm being
a Pollyanna here, but it kind of it kind of
feels awesome because you weren't supposed to win that game.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
And I bet that dude doesn't make another mistake for
the rest of the year.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:04:06):
Oh, I know, he's probably embarrassed by it because everyone
cowboy fans or not are making fun of him, talking
about him being you know, there's people are using AI
to show pictures of him without hands where he's got nubs.
Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Yeah man, uh yeah, the AI nub era is here, right.
But you know, he gets paid a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
Man, He's got to come up with those plays, and yeah,
your whole payroll is based on him and Dak making
all that money.
Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
So I did think two series in the preseason and
the final preseason game does that get you up to
game speed?
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
So if you look at the throw to Ferguson that
was short to me, you could look at that and
say that was a little rusty. Maybe you look at
his throw to CD, the last one that was a
little long that they're still called it a drop. Maybe,
but maybe CD needed a little bit. Maybe there was
a little rust because they maybe it is hard. They
don't and they don't play in the preseason, So is
(01:05:00):
there something to that.
Speaker 4 (01:05:01):
Maybe maybe that's why every first game that every NFL
team play should be against a college team like.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
That, not even a good college yet. I like, all right,
there you have it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
There's cussing the Cowboys part one where we're going to
go and cussing part two. Well, I think we need
to talk about the good night that our coach had
and our quarterback had because.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
He kind of look like Romo last night. That's coming up,
Nicky some point one the Eagle.
Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
We are at Pluckers Lovers and Greenville. Lots of good
friends here, meeting new friends. Just met some nice folks
from Corsicana that are here hanging out at the Pluckers
Lovers and Greenville. There's a great place to come, eat wings,
drink some cold beer. Pluckers is where it's at. Always
follow us to find out where we're going to be next,
(01:05:47):
because we're gonna be at a different Pluckers every other
Friday all throughout football season. Got some info on the
power Ball coming up later in the show, but let's
put a bow on this cowboys talk.
Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
Kevin.
Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
Yeah, I think I thought Dak looked way way way
better last night, Like even like I usually don't judge
this very closely, especially on adult men.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
Oh but I like pretty trim nice ass. Oh yeah,
and real nice ass.
Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
There were a couple romoesque moments. The escapability is back. Yeah,
that was not there last year at all.
Speaker 2 (01:06:20):
Although there was one point He's probably running the most
he ran and I was like, oh my god, his
hamstrings about to fall off.
Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
Well, okay, you know what I thought during that time,
I thought about you two guys. I wasn't thinking about
that getting hurt. I was like, what are Kt and
Ben thinking right now? Because they are probably thinking this
is the end.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
But dude, again, if you go back to the Jalen
Carter spinning thing, he's so calm and Dak is so relaxed.
And he's smiling at the most vicious player on their team,
just like, what's up, bro, like fearlessly, and he composed him.
He was composed like that the entire night, and he
played really really well. Had CD not dropped those four passes,
(01:06:59):
he would have had a huge and eye.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
They would have won the game.
Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
You know what else I thought about, too, is when
he made the tackle after the fumble.
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
I was sitting.
Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
We had this conversation yesterday and I was like, I
have confidence and he's not going to get hurt this
year because he's a veteran. He knows the league inside out.
He knows what to do and what not to do
kind of what Ben is just laying out there. And
then as I watched him die for that tack, I
was like, oh, yeah, I forgot about the freak play.
Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
He's definitely going to get hurt this year. He got
to do that. Yeah. It was twenty four to twenty.
Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
The Cowboys had yet to stop the Eagles at this
point in the game, and the Cowboys had just punted
for the first time too.
Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
I know, the Cows just punned for the first time.
Speaker 4 (01:07:34):
Yeah, and Dak's on the sideline just kind of smiling
and vibing on his own and it.
Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Was very weird. I mean it almost looked like a
movie kind of.
Speaker 4 (01:07:43):
And I was kind of like, Okay, he's kind of
acting a little crazy right now, because usually he's just
calm and he looks over and I mean there's a
whole meme of him being very indifferent about what's happening.
Speaker 6 (01:07:53):
Yeah, but I thought that was kind of strange, And look,
I could help but take it back to Micah a
little bit. Has nothing to do with anything that happened
last night. But I think we all know Dak was
pretty okay with that. Trade loves Micah, but they've kind
of outed him when they said the leadership council was
okay with it. Yeah, even though we've never heard them
(01:08:14):
once talk about a leadership council, Well, Dak.
Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
Would be on it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
What about the Micah comments here in the last twenty
four hours where he's han't seen him. He's like, oh,
I've never played with this many good defensive tackles that
can actually get up the field. And you know, it's
amazing being on a team where everybody actually likes to
be in the locker room together and be together and
football is the priority here.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
It's amazing, And it's like, isn't that ironic? That's corny?
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Like you're all everyone's criticism of you was that football
is not the most important thing. You're doing all these podcasts,
all these other things. Now he's act like, Wow, now
I'm in green Baver where really values football. So happy
to be a part of this locker room.
Speaker 4 (01:08:49):
That's the former cowboy force field it is. And then
I mean, I guess the follow up question is, oh,
sor are you going to try to play discipline within
their system?
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Are you're still going to be a.
Speaker 4 (01:08:57):
Solo act now that you're a part of all? You
know why they just worry about football up there?
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
Didn't get nothing to do.
Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
That's what they were saying. Yeah, that's what he was saying.
And there his teammates were saying, there's nothing else to
do here.
Speaker 4 (01:09:09):
And you know what, he'll like that for another five
days and then he'll be like, oh, remember when I
used to go to.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
D Lincoln's steakhouse every other night. Yeah, it's gonna be
different up there, Dak. Yeah, I'm sorry, Micah.
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
I hope you don't enjoy watching the Packers this week
and all season.
Speaker 4 (01:09:25):
Well, you know, they're guy have him on a pitch count,
so we'll see.
Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
I can't wait to watch that. When is it Sunday?
Is he gonna play? Is he gonna get an epidural?
Gonna play?
Speaker 4 (01:09:35):
Probably they're saying pitch count, but they're keeping strategic.
Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
But if he got an epidural and gave birth, they're.
Speaker 4 (01:09:40):
Also having to go through the fake thing that he's
got an injury just so no one gets in trouble.
Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
So really, yeah, it doesn't matter. All right, all right,
there you have it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
There's our Cowboys analysis for today coming up next KT
where you gonna takes to the weekly week day of day.
Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
You ready for that cold front.
Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
That's next on the Eagle Are you excited?
Speaker 4 (01:10:05):
Day featuring veteran news anchored Kat's fun tweets. Okay, so, uh,
yesterday it was hot one. It was about one hundred
and two degrees at four point thirty. But it was
the seventh triple digit day on record in DFW this summer.
Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
That is really good small talk.
Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
That is good small button. It's not this is captain
climate though. Yeah, and so we got to figure out
what this means.
Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
Where's he taking it?
Speaker 1 (01:10:33):
Where are you taking this because I thought you were
saying we were going to burn because of all the
fracking and all the oil and okay, that's different all
electric cars. Earlier, I bumped into a lady outside and
she was like, you know, we just had our seventh
triple digit day. And I was like, Okay, this is
good small talk, but you're right, this is an agenda.
I want to hear the agenda because I thought you
were guaranteeing because the polar ice cap is melting, this
(01:10:55):
is gonna be the hottest summer ball time.
Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
You're seeing a lot of extreme things happening.
Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
How come we didn't have an extreme summer? Then? Did
you see the volnado? Okay, he got you. He got
you at a I've seen sharknado.
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
Okay he got There was a volcano and Hawaii and
the wind was taking some of the lava that was
being thrown up into.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
The air and was creating volnadoes. We did not have
lava wind like five years ago. Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
Well, I can also say when I was taking my
family to Hawaii, you were quick to say that there
was all these uh tornadoes involving fire ants at nado. Yeah,
fire ant natos they were stirring up throwing fire ants
on everyone on the beach, and that did not happen.
Speaker 4 (01:11:37):
Now, all directed by the Queen ant who was telling.
Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
Them, Wait, which coast were you on?
Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
That's fair because if you were on the east side,
then now you're fine, you're fine. But the west west
side where the ant NATO's were on the northwest side, yeah,
because that's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:11:53):
Wind chills in the mid forties in the northwestern Panhandle.
Speaker 2 (01:11:58):
I'm going to the Panhandle. This on one. In the Panhandle.
There's nothing that happens in the Panhandle but a.
Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
Heat index of one O six in Brownsville, Texas forties
and one O six that is extreme.
Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
That's interesting, that's interesting. What kind of panhandlers do you
get the Panhandle. That's a good question, Kevin. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:12:19):
Yeah, I know that tomorrow there's just there's a little
bit of a chance of rain. But tomorrow is one
of those days where you're going to be.
Speaker 4 (01:12:28):
Possibly about eleven am when football starts going tomorrow morning,
the best place to be would be a.
Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
Plucker's right, it's going to be going to watch the
little TV outside. Really find a way, what's it going
to be tomorrow. He sixties. Sixties, Now that's going to
ease into p seventies. Okay, it goes on. Is it
in your face that we didn't have a super hot summer?
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
No, not at all. Okay, so I think it proves
I think so. Yes, I don't think so, because it
is it's about the extremes and the unpredictability.
Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
That way, if you just focused on the extremes, then
you can make it yours no matter how it goes
either way.
Speaker 4 (01:13:05):
I mean, everyone can make the joke that there'll be
a snow game in Buffalo and October, and the quest
so much for global warming it's snowing in October's like, no,
that's one data.
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
I do it on a wide range of evidence that
we have. I do want to ask you this while
you're on your political pulpit. Where did you park your
electric car?
Speaker 4 (01:13:24):
Uh? No, I don't do electric cars. What we're learning?
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
What do you talk? They are?
Speaker 4 (01:13:28):
He's actually he's the aberration, big climate guy, huge fossil
fuel guy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
He's a contradiction, wrapped it in enigma. I almost going
to frank things up. Yeah, I actually I was looking
for some gushers around here.
Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
I demand that we now move into vaccine talk.
Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
I'm kidding.
Speaker 4 (01:13:49):
A good thing.
Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
I thought Kennedy had a great showing this week. Man,
I know he's that's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
The bear did it for me. The Central Park Bear
did it for me. But whatever, right, it doesn't matter.
SMU is in the news here, guys. Hell yeah, man,
go ponies.
Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
So this afternoon they sent out a text message to
their people warning of an active shooter on campus.
Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
What And then they're like, no, it was just a test.
You can't do it. You can't do that. What are
they doing? I hope they slide in the rankings because
of this. Yeah, I still think there's team Yeah, I
talk to play Baylor tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (01:14:28):
So on social media at about four thirty so, I
guess in the last hour, they said, oh, at three
point fifty today, SMU issued an SMU alert about an
active threat.
Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
Please be assured.
Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
This was only part of the planned test of our
emergency notification systems. There was never a danger on campus.
Why would they say that? In fact, if I wasn't
listening closely here at Plucker's, I'd go, what's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Why would they do that?
Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
You can test it without driving future just say hey,
this is a test. You don't have to say, hey,
co hit the deck.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
I saw a campus get shut down the other day
because the guy was carrying an umbrella.
Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
Did y'all see that story? Was it a magic umbrella?
Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
He's carrying an umbrella and they're like, oh my god,
gun And they sent out the thing to the whole campus.
There's a man with a gun on campus and an
umbrellas an umbrella.
Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
And they just they dismissed, I did it. They just
they thought it was a gun, but it wasn't.
Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
Was it a JFK the thing that gets turned around?
The guy had an umbrella gun?
Speaker 2 (01:15:25):
Oh right, yeah, that was a part of the conspiracy.
Thinking of the penguin. The penguin also had the umbrella. Yeah, yeah.
I just thought that was strange and we don't see
that very often. He's right. You guys been tracking the Rangers.
They're in the mix this small time.
Speaker 4 (01:15:42):
They're in the mix there. I think they're currently two
games back up Seattle and three and a half games
back of Houston.
Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
They won nine out of ten and then they lost
two straight over they lost three straight.
Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
Yeah, and then they went home and took a nap
because you got baseball never stops. You got to sleep
when you can's. They have a three game set with
the Astros happening this weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
Wait, sweep them.
Speaker 6 (01:16:05):
If they sweep them, we're in big business right now.
A game and a half out of the wild card. Okay,
but in the division. Honestly, you're just three and.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
A half, five games back. You're gonna be two back.
What do you mean they're not gonna Why you act
like Houston's good, They're fine.
Speaker 4 (01:16:19):
No, I'm just saying you're not. You go Okay, if
we sweep them, we're two games back. As in September, when.
Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
Is Corey Seeger coming back from his appendectomy or whatever?
Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
You know, I don't think they need him, Okay, they
don't need the best one of the best players in baseball.
Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
When he plays a full year, he does get hurt
a lot. Weirdly, you'll see.
Speaker 4 (01:16:38):
You should probably talk about that if they missed the
playoffs three times out of the four years, Dad seeker,
Is it a good contract if you get one World Series?
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
The World Series? The World Series, dogs fly forever.
Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
I guess all right, Well that's good. Big stories next week,
no beach stories next you hear that coming up next.
The biggest story right now is the power Bawl. We're
three minutes away from telling you why next on The
Eagle Live from Pluckers in Dallas.
Speaker 4 (01:17:02):
Oh yes, it is the Ben and Skin Show ninety
seven point one The Eagle. Oh. KT's clapping, Oh, let's
everybody clap right. This is the last segment out here
at Pluckers for the Ben and Skin Show for today.
Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
But don't forget.
Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
We'll be at a different Pluckers every other Friday all
through out football season. I can't wait to make it
back out to this one because this is my favorite.
But we got a lot that we're going to be
going to anyways. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. If
you could make it out to Pluckers today, hit it
up anytime this weekend at any of the Metroplex locations.
Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
Always a great place to watch the game. But right
now it's time for this. Yep, this thing's big. It's big.
Speaker 4 (01:17:48):
It's a little longer segment.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
How about that.
Speaker 4 (01:17:52):
I normally don't like doing segments like this because they've
been done a million times, I think, but Powerball is
all the rage right now because the the purse is
up to one point eight billion dollars. If you can
just buy the ticket and come up with the right numbers,
you could be a winner.
Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
That's not a good copy point. Do you guys know
what the take home cash is? Do you have it
in your in your story? It's in there somewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
Hold on, I'm curious. There's a bunch of these things,
so what is this one? This is like six different states.
I think it's more all the states everything fifty states.
Speaker 2 (01:18:27):
I don't think it's all fifty, but it's a chunk.
It's a bunch. I don't know how many.
Speaker 4 (01:18:30):
How many states do the power ball, So that's a
good thing about googling. You can just kind of find
out and then just get whatever it Forty five Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada,
and Utah are holding out those prudes.
Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
Well I don't go to Alaska anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:18:46):
But this one's one and two two hundred and ninety
two million odds, So you got a pretty good chance
if you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
So you do whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:18:55):
You do the cash value option right, which means you
get all of it, but you're to get half of it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
You know, it's not spread out over twenty years.
Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
It's like here's half of it, bam, and then you
pay taxes, which I think that's going to put you
in the tax bracket of a thirty eight percent tax bracket.
So if you win by yourself after taxes, they're handing
you about five hundred.
Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
And sixty million dollars. If you win by yourself.
Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
If you win one point eight billion by yourself, yes,
you get how much five hundred.
Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
And sixty million? How is that possible?
Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
So you get half of it, because you can take
the full one point eight billion, but they'll give it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:35):
To you over twenty years, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:19:37):
Or if you want all your money now, they'll give
you all your money now, and then that immediately puts
you in the highest tax bracket, so you're gonna have
to give thirty eight percent of that to the government.
So that leaves you walking away with about five hundred
and sixty million.
Speaker 6 (01:19:50):
Mark Cuban's financial advice on this is to not take
it all at once as well. Now that you're I mean,
I kind of want to think I want to get
advice from someone who's kind of in my tax bracket
because I don't like, Yeah, of course that's what you
would do, is not right?
Speaker 2 (01:20:07):
I think there. I don't know what the number is,
but there is a number.
Speaker 4 (01:20:10):
You're gonna take it all up front until you get
to a certain number, and I think probably once you're
in the neighborhood of one point eight billion, it probably
makes sense to just get it over twenty years.
Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
But if let's say you're let's say.
Speaker 4 (01:20:23):
That the lottery was one hundred million, Okay, they're gonna
advise you to take it all right now, because then
that's putting you're gonna get fifty million, and then that
tax bracket's gonna mean you're gonna walk away with like
thirty million. So having thirty million dollars right now puts
you in if you have any business wherewithal it all,
you're gonna want that money because you're gonna be able
(01:20:45):
to start building things, doing business, investing all of that stuff.
In a way, that's just different. I put it all
in crypto.
Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
It's just okay, So what is the how do you
play power ball? You just pick some numbers.
Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
Yeah, it's like all the others, but it's five, but
it in it it's six numbers. It's the power ball,
the power ball, So why is that? Why is that different?
Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
It's like the bonus pick. So does it go to
a total? Does it go to a like one of sixty?
Do you have sixty numbers to pick? I think it's
sixty something like that. Yeah. I mean all I ever
do is I do the quick Okay, I never think through.
Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
You have five white ball numbers, choose five different numbers
between one and sixty nine, and then one red power
ball number between one and twenty six.
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
I can tell you this.
Speaker 6 (01:21:33):
There's a whole like analysis that's happened from powerball drawings
over the last ten years. Yeah, okay, And one of
them is the number that's most likely to come up
is the number sixty one.
Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
Now you can game theory this thing and be like,
I'm not.
Speaker 4 (01:21:47):
Doing Roger Marris, I'm not doing sixty one here because
it's the most, like it's happened the most.
Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
It's out of its system, So you're not gonna do
that one.
Speaker 4 (01:21:55):
The first five numbers, like as you said, one to
sixty nine, sixty one has been drawn the most one
hundred and fifteen times times over the ten year span
that they've been tracking this credit. The five most commonly
drawn numbers are sixty one. Roger Marison twenty one, Dion
twenty three, Michael Jordan who was at the game last night,
(01:22:16):
thirty three, Scottie Pippen, It's and sixty nine.
Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Did you laugh because that immediately makes you an offensive line?
Speaker 4 (01:22:26):
Sixty nine mean everyone's been making that jokes in my
entire existence.
Speaker 2 (01:22:29):
What does it mean? What about the power ball explicitly?
What does it mean?
Speaker 4 (01:22:33):
Okay, the number that's least likely to be.
Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
Drawn is thirteen. I always picked that number.
Speaker 6 (01:22:39):
The five most least likely numbers to which I would
say are now most they're they're due thirteen, which hit?
Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
Hey, yeah, my baseball number in high school. Oh, I
like where this? Want to hear more about that season
you had forty nine. I couldn't do it. I hate
the forty nine ers.
Speaker 4 (01:22:55):
Twenty six, terrible number. Michael downs forty six and sixty five.
Those are the worst football numbers. Now. The number that's
most overdue, it has not been drawn since April of
this year, is the number twenty six. That's my power
So maybe add that to your list. That's well, power
Ball only goes up to see we're reporting on your report.
(01:23:19):
When it comes to the Powerball number, the most likely
numbered hit is four. Dak Prescott, Joey Hardy.
Speaker 6 (01:23:26):
The three most common power balls are four, twenty one,
and twenty four incredible.
Speaker 2 (01:23:32):
The least likely powerball number is sixteen. That's a horrible okay,
but do plur?
Speaker 7 (01:23:37):
Is that who?
Speaker 4 (01:23:37):
That is?
Speaker 1 (01:23:38):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Steep blur, But do you Here's what I think.
Speaker 1 (01:23:42):
If you choose your own numbers, that could be fake
because you may have these numbers that have been stuck
with you over time. It's stuck in your head and
you know what, it may be the ghost of your
future self coming back to try to tell you not
to be an idiot and to pick these numbers, or
a relative who's passed away, or some sort of mystical
magic where you.
Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
Need to pick these numbers. Well that's just God.
Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
If you go with just randomly selected numbers, that two
could be fate intervening. Right, So which way do you think?
Is you know, your mama trying.
Speaker 2 (01:24:12):
To hook you up?
Speaker 4 (01:24:13):
There's a fork in the road, man. You can go
this way or you can go that way, and that's
the decision you have to make.
Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Well, both ways, but which is more likely to win? Yeah,
you could buy one of each. I think you should
go right through that fork.
Speaker 4 (01:24:25):
Oh yeah, yeah, Okay, Now here's the problem with the
reporting on all of this, not my reporting, because every
Powerball winner is immediately in danger.
Speaker 2 (01:24:37):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:24:38):
We never find out were they solo act? What type
of convenience store did you get it at? Did you
do it through a currier ro did you go lump
some with a bunch of friends at a company? We
never learn what happened.
Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
Did you immediately get kidnapped by South Americans? If you
just have a little bit of copper wire, you're in danger.
That's true, much less four and eighty million dollars. I
would buy four hundred and eighty four million dollars of
copper wire the second I got my own on that
gay right.
Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
Uh So, I don't know. I would love to know, though,
because there, you know, there's office pools like oh.
Speaker 4 (01:25:11):
Yeah, we're gonna go all in this weekend. It's want
to throw ten dollars in. I'm like, okay, we're gonna
all divide this up. Who's going to be responsible for that?
Do you trust your coworkers?
Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Let those people sue each other all the time, who
want that stuff together? I would trust we I think
he would do get there. So what would you do.
I know it's been discussed many times.
Speaker 4 (01:25:28):
Though. You get the money that's I mean generational wealth.
Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
Uh huh? Will you be heard from ever again? I
would not like I love you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:25:39):
But wait, you would never see me in skin again. Now, okay,
so let's say you get out of.
Speaker 2 (01:25:43):
Town before people start asking for me. You would we
get a parting gift?
Speaker 5 (01:25:47):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:25:47):
Yeah, you get it?
Speaker 1 (01:25:47):
Yeah? Okay, So what what sort of a gift is
required for the people you're closest to.
Speaker 4 (01:25:52):
I would hook each one of you guys up with
one hundred thousand dollars, no questions out.
Speaker 1 (01:25:56):
I would treat you guys thousand. I would treat you
guys like cowboys, all defensive, lineman. I just buy you
all like a Louis Buiton bag. Oh man, Ben was
great to work with.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
He won the lottery. He gave us his Louis Bauton bag.
Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
That's badass, man, I don't think these are real. Honey,
Ben got us a Louis Baton bag. Okay, here's a
golf card I can't really use.
Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
Okay, what about how he bought din? What am I
going to do with it? Is the drawing? Saturday? Saturday night.
Speaker 1 (01:26:25):
Okay, So if you win Saturday Night, we'll probably never
talk to you ever again. But will we be able
to get in contact with you through assistance?
Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
Yeah, we have a series of shy.
Speaker 4 (01:26:35):
Yeah, a subcommittee, have a committee. You know, it'll be crazy,
is some assistance. Immediately when he gets rid of his wife, rocks,
he she'll be hanging out with us and she'll be like,
whatever happened to my husband?
Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
So let's let's let's enact. Let's reenact this thing.
Speaker 1 (01:26:49):
Okay, So, kat, I'm your assistant coming to you, mister Turner. Uh,
there's two guys on the phone that want to talk
to you. They are saying their names are Ben, and
would you like me to put that call through? Can
I talk to the other assistant's you'd have to.
Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
There'd be a chain of ten assistants. It would be
worse than any call center you've ever mister Turner. I
hate to bother you. I think they're your gay dad.
Speaker 4 (01:27:15):
I'm literally trying to squeeze eighteen more into that on
a golf course you bought at the top of an island.
Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
Mountain course better than an island course, dude, If you.
Speaker 4 (01:27:27):
Would agree, if you win, yeah, oh, I would agree
with that, and I play your mountain course and I
will see.
Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
I'm kind of sad that you won't take our call.
Oh my god, No, you would not even taken our case.
You wouldn't worry about it. You would have enough money
to ever have to work again. Oh really, how much
are you hooking us up with?
Speaker 4 (01:27:41):
I mean, it's how much do you if you walk
with five hundred and fifty eight million cash fifty eight million,
you guys are easily get a million.
Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
That's great, only a million. I'd take a million. It
must not be greedy. Get rid of it. A million
dollars to get rid of KT. That would be very generous.
You do it.
Speaker 4 (01:27:57):
You would get out of town fast, though, because people
will start asking for money like it would be insane.
Speaker 2 (01:28:03):
I would immediately move to Afghanistan right there. No one
would be looking for me there. That's a terrible plan.
I would buy me a nice condo downtown. I don't
even know any cities. Go back to two thousand and four.
You can hit this out.
Speaker 7 (01:28:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28:23):
If this is everybody at Pluckers, this may be your
last time to ever see Kevin Turner say by a
lot of people think he's gonna win the power ball.
Speaker 2 (01:28:30):
Give it up for Kevin Turner. Come on, make some noise.
Kevin Turner, he's gonna win the power ball.
Speaker 1 (01:28:35):
He'll buy all of your wings. Every one of you
will eat free if he wins next time.
Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
He not right now yet, Addison one on the nineteenth.
I believe so all right, that's gonna do it for us.
Speaker 4 (01:28:47):
From the Pluckers, Dallas Lovers, Greenville location. Uh. We will
be back on Monday and we'll have a little baby
corn bread k Ray back in the fold. Have a
great weekend, stick around and hear more music right here
on the Eagle
