What happens when Led Zeppelin, Ryan Reynolds, and a barbecue pit all crash into your TV screen at once?Krystina “K-Ray” Ray—dives headfirst into the world of streaming gold, unexpected documentaries, and the wildest new shows you’ve never heard of (but absolutely need to watch).🎸 Key Highlights:
  • Becoming Led Zeppelin is coming to Netflix on June 7, and Krystina is fired up. She saw it in IMAX and swears it’s like being front row at a Zeppelin concert in the ‘70s. Bonus: a rare John Bonham interview that even the band hadn’t heard before.
  • Funniest Moment: “How did the bulges look in IMAX?” — Skin, proving once again that no topic is too sacred.
  • The Pitt on HBO: A gripping, emotional ER-style drama that will have you crying every episode. “The pig wakes up” might be the most confusing and hilarious spoiler ever dropped.
Underdogs, narrated by Ryan Reynolds, is the wildlife docuseries we didn’t know we needed. Think Deadpool meets National Geographic—highlighting nature’s “super zeroes” instead of the usual apex predators. Premieres June 15 on Nat Geo, ABC, Hulu, and Disney+

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Incredible if you couldn't tell from all of that this
is a TV segment, but I'm actually starting the starting
with well, starting with actually a thing. Okay, some people
in Texas might not remember that sound sad day, So
I'm actually starting this segment with some movie news. Do

(00:32):
you guys remember a certain movie I was super excited
to go see. I believe it was back in February.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yes, I vaguely remember this. I think I caught more
of a documentary.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Right, it is a documentary, yeah, I know what it is.
Then Becoming led Zeppelin. It released to Imax again, I
believe it was February. I didn't go see it the
first run, but then they brought it back a few
weeks later. I went to go see it. I told
everyone to go see it, and if you didn't, again,
I can't get mad. I still haven't seen the movie
that you guys want. Let me go see Friendship.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
What are you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I'm not allowed to get mad at anyone who missed it.
And also you're in luck because it is coming to Netflix, yes,
very very soon. Friendship is no Becoming led Zeppelin, the
second documentary that was released not too long ago, is
coming to Netflix.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Now wait, wait, wait when you saw it? Did you
see it in Imax?

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I saw it in Imax. And that's where it's the downside,
because there's concert footage that no one has ever seen before,
and you're seeing it in the imax, so it's like
your front row at a Zeppelin show back in the seventies.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Wow, how incredible. How did the bulges look in imax?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Isn't paying attention? I think Mike was more focused on
that than I was.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Mike loves bulges.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
So again the documentary. But but it's coming to Netflix.
Let's see June seventh. Yeah, June seventh's weekend, which is
this Saturdays. So another reason to see this. If you're like, man,
I know everything about Zeppelin. I thought I knew everything
about zeppl I went and saw this. I learned quite
a bit. And also there's an interview with John Bonham

(02:06):
that they found before he passed, obviously, and they play
it and you get to see all of the members
react to hearing this interview for the very first time,
and it is it's really really cool.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Wow, I'm excited. I really was bitter that I missed
it the first time around. That one in the sled
Stone documentary. I've had plans to get to in February
and just you get caught up in life and you
end up not getting to it and still haven't seen this.
I mean, I love Slying the Family Stone, and I
still haven't seen it. We'll get a little new summer
of a little time because not a lot of great

(02:38):
new TV shows popping up. It on? Is it on Hulu?
The Slice Stone thing?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
That's why if this one's already coming out, I'm sure
that one's already out as well.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I think it premiered on here. I just never got
around to it. Yeah, I'm an idiot.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Before I get to this, I myself. Before I get
to this next show, Mike and I are watching a
show called The It. I don't know if you've heard,
I've heard. It's wonderful. It is fantastic. You will cry
almost every single episode. But it is like real life
e er situations. They're talking like you are, and they're
going each episode is just an hour of time throughout

(03:14):
the day.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Is this the one that's got Noah Wiley and it?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yes? Okay, incredibly too.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I was I was cynical about it because I was like, oh,
it's that guy again in a hospital. I'm good, but
you're saying it's good.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
No, it's fantastic. But I agree with you. I'm like,
why I never watched these stupid shows? And it's HBO
is not gonna play anything now bad?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Oh, it's HBO. You know what would have been good
is if it was like you're talking about, but it
was emergency situations and a barbecue pit, right, be cool? Yeah,
kind of burning your thumb.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yeah, oh man, I won't give anything away. I highly
recommend it. It's fantastic. The Pig wakes up.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
By the way, did you keep watching your friends and
neighbors after we told you to?

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Nope? Okay, another I just we need you to start
a list of we're supposed to watch, because by the
time I get tired and I'm like, yeah, let's put
something on, I don't remember what. Let me start the
pit again.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Let me just say the finale. You know it's fine?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
It was a show that was handed a second season
before even having to prove itself and the secondality of
red flags everywhere, and the second season all right, we
got to ride a whole other season finale for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
No, that sucks. Okay, Well, hopefully this new show won't suck.
All right. It's called Underdogs. And originally I thought Green
Day wrote the theme song to this song. No, Green
Day already had a song called Underdog, and it was
used for this new TV show called Underdogs. Okay. Now,
it is basically a wildlife show that's narrated and executive

(04:44):
produced by Ryan Reynolds.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh cool.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
So you know it's gonna be funny and way different
than the normal, just boring wildlife shows. And I did
get the trailer if you want to hear it real quick. Yeah,
to kind of explain what it is, here we go.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
For over one hundred thirty five years, National Geographic has
gone to the ends of the Earth and to bring
you the most stunning footage of nature ever put to film.
Fun enough with the top of the food chain, it's
time to shift our focus to the Bob Hook.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I've teamed up with Natio to fast forward right past
nature's gloryhogs and get down in the mud with nature's benchwarmers.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Not the superheroes, the super zeros.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
You tell the Great day ba.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
So this is only gonna be five episodes, but it's
focused on animals and their bizarre mating strategies, surprising superpowers,
just stuff that you don't normally see. Deadpool for wildlife,
absolutely cool again. It's called Underdog.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
What's it on?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
It will premiere June fifteenth on That, GEO and ABC,
but then it's going to stream the very next day
on Hulu and Disney Plus.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Fantastic, great job, kra
