“Is it still a good deed if it turns into a hostage situation at the coffee machine?”In this hilariously unfiltered episode of The Ben and Skin Show, the crew dives into a gas station encounter that spirals into a full-blown improv comedy sketch featuring coffee, donuts, a bus pass request, and a surprise cameo from a very vocal stranger.Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray are all hands on deck as KT recounts his early morning scuffle with a possibly homeless man at a QT. What starts as a simple act of kindness quickly turns into a slow-motion standoff, complete with sugar overload, donut negotiations, and a woman who calls KT a “smart ass” for trying to help.

Speaker 3 (02:01):

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Conversely, all these old bitches need to get it in gear. Yeah,
that's a great point. And I'm here for you clearly
that you're my category. Women twenty five to fifty four
A struggling. It was funny last night. My whole family
was in the car. Actually my son doesn't one of
my sons doesn't leave his bedroom, but the four of
us were routinely. My oldest son came back for fall

(02:30):
break and we were in the car went and gave
them a tour of a brewery were invested in, and
a little other company were invested in. I was giving
them a tour of it and whatnot, and I was
giving them the good news about how our ratings have
been climbing up, and that, mysteriously women eighteen to thirty
four has been a you know.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Of late, we're like dominating. Let's go in that.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
And my wife said, and somebody, my daughter was like, mom,
you better watch out. The grace was like, the uh,
the young ladies are after dad, And she said, no,
they're way too young.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
He likes him fifty and older. You know, she didn't
know it was sixty.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I don't even know. She's just not aware, dude. By
the way, Dolly Parton still looking good. Yeah, still has
her fastball. I think her sister's doing great too.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
I don't know who that one worried on the internet. So, Kate,
what do you you got a crisis over there? What
are you dealing with her? I see you on your phone. Man,
there's just so much going on. There's just what you got.
We'll catch up on it later. It really got a
radio thing. He's got a bunch of stuff cooking. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Somebody else who had stuff cooking today was Kevin kat Turner.
Is it true that you fought a homeless person today, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, I got into a bit of a scuffle this morning.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
And generally I don't interact with people out in public
too much, but sometimes I'm a little wired and I might,
you know, be amenable. So I pulled into a gas
station to uh just run in real quick, and I
noticed that there's a fellow there leaning against the wall.
I'm trying not to really make eye contacted. He goes,
do you mind getting me a coffee? And he's like, okay,

(04:03):
So this guy is probably in his fifties, but he
was clearly, you know, just kind of hanging out like
it's like his life.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I agree with you, I think deserves a follow up. Yeah,
series of follow ups holding up on the homeless guy.
Yeah yeah, homeless Yeah yeah, any it with a real scratchy,
deep voice, he's playoff time.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
He said, will you give me a coffee?

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Covin And I said, well, I'm not gonna get it
for you, but it's like, yeah, I'll get you a coffee.
I was like, yeah, come in and get it.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
He's learning.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
He is.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
You know, you're good with these in these situations because
you're like, I'll get you a coffee or I'll give
you some money, but I've got to go do this first, right,
did you say that?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Jim said? I said absolutely. I said come get what
you want. Now.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
See I already see a mistake you just made, so
I'll wait. The mistake is saying come get what you want. Yes,
because I go to get what I need and I'm
let's go, let's go. He's moving at the pace of molasses.
I was like, hey, man, let's go. And uh, he
goes Can I get a donut? Too?

Speaker 5 (04:57):
And I said, oh, you have a donut? Where are
you again?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I need I need to know which kind? Okay, it's
qt what what an intersection?

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Someone on wrapp a hole and wherever a rap hold
montfort over there, you know, so they have the coffee
though where it's all like like a tap, you know,
the coffee are all on tap. It's great and I've
I'm taken care of. I've got what I need. So
I'm waiting on him. He pours his coffee. Then he
pours about half of a bottle of sugar into it okay.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Which is like whatever, I'm a I don't mind. Okay.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
But here's where it gets sketchy. He goes, can I
get a donut too? I said, absolutely, get your donut,
but let's go.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
I'm in a hurry. He goes what.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
He goes, can I have a bus pass? And I said,
I can't do that. You don't have a bus pass,
and I can't.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Buy your bus pass. I said, I'll give you coffee, donut.
We're good.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
So I kind of walk around nervously. I'm browsing. I
guess just all I was getting was a protein bar. Right,
I've done that, I've done what I need to do.
I'm going back around to check on him one last time.
One of the wise I'm about to leave him because
I'm tired of waiting on him. It's time to go, Like,
you need to get on my speed. If I'm buying you.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
You just leave your coffee. He's homeless, so he doesn't
have anything to hurry to. He's that's the biggest meeting
he's having all day. No, No, I got into yesterday.
I was like, here's my number if you need help.
And then the guy wanted to keep time, like bye.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah, no, I know. I've offered you what I don't.
I'm not on your schedule, homie. I know, and I was.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
I was about at the level where I would have
just done that, but not that. I'm still happy to
help this guy out.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
But you would have gotten him arrested because he would
have walked out with the stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Go yeah, this guy said he was paying for it.
You would have got him arrested. Tough.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
I was going to you get what you need and
then I'm gonna go check out because I don't want
him walking up to the counter with me. I don't
want the people at QT thinking I'm buying the homeless
guy food because they don't want them hanging around.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Right. You're contributing to loitering. That's like feeding the bears.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
Do you remember the Breaking Bad episode it's season two
ish where Jesse goes into that house and there's that
old jukebox.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Nope, I really don't know. There is one where there
is a fly.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Well, the point is there's a gal that comes around too,
and she goes, how does the coffee work?

Speaker 3 (07:08):
And I'm she was you know you could just tell, right,
And I go, well, you just tell.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
She wanted you could tell that she'd been through a lot,
a lot of miles in the old I'm starting to
piece things together a little bit here and am I
had to go there together?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Oh, and I said, you just get the.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Coffee and you just you just make it, and she goes, now,
how does it work?

Speaker 3 (07:29):
And then he just said that guy over there, that's wondering.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
So I looked at him and he was looking at her,
and I could tell, and I said, I don't work here,
and she just this guy is such a smart ass,
Oh about you? And I said, oh, okay, so this
is pup I was having dude, this is just my
improv skills just coming in to play right here is
all this is?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, And I sir, now, I really wish I would
have bought you that bus pass so you could get
away from this bitch.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
And then I did take his donut and coffee and
bought it. But you said a ticket? No, yeah, because
I was going to check out with it. How did
he respond to your joke? He just he knows, going
one whacked out? What about that crazy lady? Did you
buy her anything? No, not at all. So I walked off.
And she's just smart. She kept saying it.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
So you took the donut and the coffee out of
his hand and then circled back.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Already had it in my hand. I was already had
already had in my hand.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
He went and got what he was getting and brought
it to you and handed it to you.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
No, I asked him to I said, get what you
need and give it to me. And I was by
that point, I'm overseeing the operation. I'm standing here waiting
on him to.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Hurt what operation? This is very just. I don't share things.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
WHOA, I great, it's a great story. And you called
the homeless lady a bitch today and you told us
pretty good, told Ella's fort worth there.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
That's pretty good. I mean, look, I look, it's very clear.
Uh huh. Grab a cup, yeah, pour the coffee. I
tell you what. Let's do this they were trying to do.
They were trying to work a scam. Here coming up
next and thingskin is tracking.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
We'll go back to the story and see some of
the inaccuracies and where some of the details have fallen apart.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
That's next right here on the Eagle
