podcast with Marcus Moser and Glenn stretch Armstrong. Glenn stretch
Armstrong and I was just listening to a bunch of
different things, and they brought up an interesting point. If
you're gonna have dak at sixty million. You're gonna have
CD at what thirty four million, and you're gonna get

Micah done, and it's probably gonna be around forty two million.
That's like one hundred and thirty six million dollars for
three players. And Vegas has the Cowboys at eight and
a half wins as the over under. So Vegas says
the Cowboys are probably not even a five hundred team, Like,
is this the time to go all in? Like it

does this make sense? Like you're going all in if
you do that. It's like if you're gonna have three
players that are the highest paid at their positions or
highest paid in the league, does that even make sense?
And didn't Mike us say last year he would have
signed for like thirty four or thirty five or something.

last year. I'm his agent was probably like, yeah, right, okay, Michael, But.

What that does is it pours gasoline on the soap
opera that is the Dallas Cowboys. And in the mind
of Jerry Jones, that is the number one reason that
this is the most expensive, most of valuable team in
all of professional sports, because it's got a ten twelve

So Jerry thinks he's the most important thing here. And
so all this is is feeding the monster of the
garbage bs circus that has nothing to do with winning.

training camp tennis courts and I want to say this
is twenty fifteen, Maybe it was twenty sixteen, and Dez
was waiting on to get a deal done, and then
they went and got a deal done with Tyron Smith,

and I remember having to get up in the middle
of the segment. You probably were too, give them the
middle of a segment, and they're trying to get U
to shut the gate of the tennis court with the
Cowboys pr people because he was wanting to go after
some radio station from elsewhere in the state, who was,
you know, making stuff up about him or whatever they
were doing, because he was heated about that. But it's like,

the whole point of this could be a good ViBe's fun,
training camp, getting better, growing a team. The whole reason
you do all this crap practice you bond and then
you're ready to go to war in September. It could
be that. But CD and Dak, who've been through this,
they've had to say to the media in the last week,

I really wish like this a good done, Like it's
it's unnecessary and Mike deserves to go ahead and get
his long term contract. Like it's like they don't want
this either, and this could be good because shot he's
putting together kind of a positive camp and it's new
vibes and it's not that.

round picks and I could probably get by with that.
I don't eve think I would need another player in
return to first two seconds, and then that money goes
off the books. So yeah, I do that. Okay, Now
that's probably not getting that type of value back, and

I guess that's the Chiefs of the Ravens, and those
aren't good first round picks. So but that's like I
don't even know. That's how a player for player trade
probably didn't really make sense for my kick, because it's
hard to the other guy who's like that is getting

to first and two seconds. You probably should be able
to get three starters out of those four picks, and.

You feel fine at defensive end for this year because
you have Donovan Azerique the second round pick, you have
Sam Williams, you have other Bedante Fowlers here. Still weird, Yeah,

The one thing like they this team is so far
away from being a contender, Like why does it makes it?

good with edge rushers and you might have a couple
of guys, if healthy, that can get interceptions. On the

offensive side, you have the worst running team in the league.
You do not even have a running back. So it's like, what,
this is not your year.

I think you're better at running back than I think
everyone's saying, because it's not give the ball to Zeke
Fest this year. That's fair. It's Miles Sanders is ahead
right now, and then what around jayd and Butlue. I
think you're better running back they were last year. I
think they're better wide receiver than they were last year.
I think they're beter at the offensive line they were
last year. And the quarterback's health so they're saying with
the quarterback right, so they'll be better there. I think
they're better on offense, and I do worry about the

same things you worry about the cornerback and all that stuff.
And defensive tackles up. And then the reason I think
they should keep going is because they're in the NFC.
Like when we did the list of like best quarterbacks
in the league and blah blah blah, and where's Dak

like it's really tough for me to look at the

NFC and go, well, yeah, they can absolutely do it.
Who's better than Dak in the NFC quarterback Maybe Jalen Hurts,

Jalen Hurts, Jordan Love, Jared Goff, didn't scare you. Matt
Stafford's hurt. They're running Jimmy Garoppolo out there with the
