I found yesterday to be kind of pleasant with the
Cowboys playing on Thursday night. You know, it's a little
bit of time until they're back at it Sunday against
the Giants, and then to have the entire week one
and not have to worry about locking in on the
Cowboys was actually kind of nice. But then you know,
it was very weird when Michael Parsons is making his
debut with the Packers. I should probably be clear to

everyone there. Anyone who doesn't know I'm a Packers fan,
good job, man. But I do want the Cowboys to win.
I've never wanted the Cowboys to lose. Unless they play
the Packers week four, I will want the Cowboys to lose,
but I want the Cowboys to win. I think it's
great when the Cowboys.

This is just like when you became a Laker fan
when Luca got traded there that was like the opposite
of that Lakers.

There's a laundry list, but it's like that's the difference
in the trades. I think is like if Micah had
sustained success with the Cowboys and then they did this,
and by sustained success, I mean the Cowboys as a team. Yeah,
look and went to the finals.

And it also, I mean it's harder in the NFL
because there's more players. This is why NBA players can
change the fortune of shoe companies with their brand right
when they align. But Luca, I don't know, man, he's
you know, he keeps kind of an underdog.

We kind of didn't really know what he was.

But he's got such a flare from magic and making

I never felt that real attachment there, and I don't
know if it's even possible. It's not really a knock
on night on Micah, but I didn't feel that same attachment.

No, I think you're right about the whole sport and
that part of it too. But you know, we always
talk about this, what makes someone legendary is what they
do in the playoffs, are in special moments. And I'm
not knocking him, but Mike has never really showed out
in the playoffs for the Cowboys. He's put up great
numbers and he's awesome. He's clearly a top three or
four defensive player in the NFL. I'm not saying I
don't want him. I wish we still had him. But also, man,

this was different. It didn't shock us, it didn't happen overnight.
And also we were sitting there going, man, do we
really need to pay three guys this much money?

Yeah, it was going risky. There's some risk involved, yeah,
where you don't really feel that as much with Luca.
And so there's a lot of differences. I will say
on the on the playoff thing, I think it's fair,
and you hear that a lot. I just think it's
way different with what the Cowboys have on defense to
what the Packers had. The Packers have been one player
away for a while now.

And the Cowboys weren't so Ken aka a guy forty
seven million. Yeah, it didn't make sense like the Cowboys
were not one player away.

They have holes everywhere, right, And this is where I
think like it was very I don't know. To me,

I feel like Packers fans have gone all in on

thing with Michael. Mike is great when things are really good.

him in a position where he never has to go

like how great of a presence he can be. Well,
I think there's a lot of Cowboys fans. I think
we're very quick to turn on him, didn't want him anyways.
And I'm like, I think you probably wanted him on
week one and he's getting sacks. I think you probably did.
Like there's a little thing that's like it's a little
bit more in the middle than we think like most things.
So watching the game, I thought this was interesting from
Tony Romo and Jim Nance talking about their meeting with

Well, we're talking about Dan Campbell. They were so relieved
that was leading the vision and I'm like, well, well,
Mike is coming out, and believe me, He's like, well,
Mike is a monster too. It's not like he was saying,
but it felt like they were more relieved that he
was gone Lark, then they were concerned that Parsons was
coming to Green Bay. I felt the same and they
didn't say it, but it was implied.

And this is why Dane Campbell's a cave man.

I saw this live, like I heard them saying that,
and it got me fired up.

Micah Parsons every snap he effected the game. He forced
Jared Goff into an interception, the double teams and all
of it, and it's like, yeah, I've seen this before,
but not with five or six other Pro bowlers because

the Packers defense is really good last year and then
yesterday I was like, Okay, now they're kind of stoppable.
And rule number one about Week NFL Week one in
the NFL as you never overreact to Week one in
the NFL. But also, the lines are supposed to be
the second best team in the conference behind the Eagles,
even losing their play. Collar Packers are the best team
in the NFL now, dude, I kind of think that.

You know the main thing too, though you do talk
about adjustments and et cetera. What you have to do
is you have to run plays that require you to
get rid of the ball in two seconds because it's coming.

I mean, I didn't watch the whole game, and I
skipped around when I watched it, but that Van Nesk
guy just exploded off my screen. And it's kind of like,
you know, when Charles Haley got here, suddenly the rest
of the defensive line was better.

And this is my good news for Cavils fans, because
you know, the Packers have all these guys right now.
A big part of the reason they got that is
because the trades they made to get rid of Aaron
Rodgers and to get rid of DeVante Adams, and they
were able to stock pile. They're a first round linebacker,
they're a second round linebacker, first round pass rusher, first
round passers from before that, like you have all these

like really good players now, and that's all they're going
to get to eat and make a bunch of money
on their next contract because Mike is they're taking up attention. Yeah,
