It is the Ben and Skin Show ninety some point
one the Eagle.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Thank you for hanging out with us today. Don't forget.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Ben and I are partners in a brewery up in
Salina called Rollertown beer Works, and we're so proud of
it and we love having people come on up there
and hang out with us. Now, this is a really
big weekend because we're kind of having our pre Cinco
de Mayo weekend. And you're sitting here going, Okay, what
old does that entail? Well, I got a little something
for you. One of my favorite people food entities to
(00:28):
come out to Rollertown is Jazzy Tacos. They're gonna be
there with Big Lou Mitcheladas. And one of the things
that we're doing is we are celebrating the release of
our incredible Mexican lagger, the Umbre Lobo Man. It is
a fantastic Mexican lagger. We bring it out this time
of year every year, and now is the time, so
go on up there and enjoy it. It's gonna be
(00:50):
a great weekend up there. We have live comedy. We
had Seth on earlier talking about his show. Well, we're
gonna have live comedy at Rollertown on Saturday night and
it is free. So if you want to get any
of that in this weekend, by all means out of
to Rollertown beer Works. And of course you can get
it at restaurants like Fortunate Sun where We're going to
be tomorrow, Good Friend, the Nook, American Airline Center, Chop Shop,
(01:12):
all these great places carry Rollertown asked for it by name.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I just said, it's.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Scroll, Thank you, Steve. It is the Scroll Patrol. And
I've ben rogers know how to use the Internet a
little bit better than my coworkers. They're just scared of
tainting their algorithm, and I specifically search for taint on
my algorithm. So it's great work when I can just
bring some new things to them. And one of the
things I've been stumbling across of late are just really
(02:02):
really bad songs. There's no barriers to entry to the
social media music industry. All you got to do is
be able to make a video, make a song. Boom.
It's out there in the world, and for some reason,
the algorithm loves feeding me these terrible songs. Now, usually
we listen to the songs and we all pick a
winner and try to determine what is the best of
the worst songs based on our own criteria. And last
(02:23):
week or the last time we did it, we were
deadlocked two to two. Uh, and so we should probably
revisit that before we get started.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Katie, let's break that time here, shut the f up
by Cleaver and Blade.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Hey man, I just want to let you know that
sometimes up this current time is just one.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Of those times you got all right pretty good.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Me and Christina voted for that, but you guys voted
for making Cheese at Night by Clooner about white.
Speaker 2 (02:55):

new hikes.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
If she ain't doing.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
I'm a past my price. Like gas Chicken late on
a Sunday, they hate me and like Garthfield hate.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Monday Rappers camp me.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I never gave him consent.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
What's wrong with you guys? The song you pick just
sounds like cake. It just sounds like a cake song.
I'm sure they probably Actually it's a Cake cover song
more LCD sounds.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I thought the same thing, more l CD.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Bouncing on myrs.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
The spirit of this segment is clearly what Klooner is doing.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Wait, what's his name? Is that enough to swing it?
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
You vote for what song you like the most? I
like that one the most. All right, so, uh we're
still deadline. Yeah, ye, all right, here we go.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Want to shoot?
Speaker 1 (03:47):
All right?
Speaker 2 (03:48):
No, you can do it. You can do it against
skin for the Wind, all right? Okay, Oh, we're doing the.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
One to shoot, one to shoot.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Clooner gets to win.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Hey, can you guys can go listen to that North
Texas alternative station. I'll be playing that Cake song a
little later today, So Clooner gets a chance to advance
this week. There's five new songs you guys have to hear.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Uh. Now, I have a hard time remembering if I've
brought these songs to the table at any point over
the last ever, because sometimes you're on social media and
you're like, I know, I've seen this show. This next song,
I've seen it for the last five years, and it's
one of the worst songs ever. But I was like,
I don't know if I've brought it to scroll patrol
on the Eagle. So this is a This is a
(04:34):
girl called Pup Party Girl. I don't know this. And
this is her song called Chin Up Pie.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Just shake that money maker in my face.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
It's a favorite. I love your misbehavior, man, that's awful.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Is that what she looked like? Not good? She looks
like a prostitute. Is not an expensive one. Kat. I
always want to know if it if the person.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Doing it is doing a project for the program they're
a part of.
Speaker 2 (05:21):

like your body about it, like your.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Buy by way and mine as mine?
Speaker 4 (05:56):
You right it?
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Well? I do how you doe, How you doe, how
you doe?
Speaker 5 (06:07):
How you do?
Speaker 4 (06:09):
How you doing it?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
How you doing it?
Speaker 4 (06:12):
How you doing?
Speaker 5 (06:14):
How you doing?
Speaker 2 (06:15):
How you doing?
Speaker 4 (06:17):
How you done? It's so good.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
If they added some like bass or something, that might
be kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
That's well, I like the one part where they decide
to add that little pencil that they're hanging on the
table underneath it. But to me, that is genius because
they put it in a position where the rest of
the world can add their own music to it. You know,
it's an interactive song, right. Here's one called Dance Dance
Move Move by Hila.
Speaker 6 (06:49):
No whom can be like me too? No wom can
be like you? To do my drills yourself? How this
is why happened? I am enough, Hi am here, you
are really dancing his worshiping universe.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Dance danced Nadia from me.
Speaker 3 (07:17):

Speaker 2 (07:20):
This is the best one we've ever had. These are
really great.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Songs, fantastic.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Sometimes, uh, you run across people on social media that
are doing cover songs and sometimes they're not scared to
tackle a major, major hit. This is beat It by
Anti Roue And don't think the.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
No one see your.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
No violence, but I think the achol feeling that's feel like.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Bangs.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
The amount of racism in the comments was a spectacle
to behold. Oh that wasn't a white person unbelievable. That's
not a part of this though. Kevin this is just
the music alone. I love the decision not to pronounce
any ours.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I thought she was going for the weird al version
of the song.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Oh yeah, that is a heater man. He brought the
she brought the heat. I went down a dark rabbit
hole with her. She's got a lot of great songs
out there. He does all the all the big hits covers,
and she's just a pleasant looking woman. You know, she
just looks like like Jam from Accounting or something. You know,
she just looks normal. What's Jam's last name?
Speaker 4 (08:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
It's a good question. I guess it's Rue Anti Rue Guys.
I thought her first name like Rue from Uh. This
one is? This one is a guy who's had a
lot of success by playing his music on our show,
and he's even been on our show. But he's got
(09:07):
a new heater out It's called Young and Free by
ray On Bass. I have something to say about this one.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Yeah, dirty hurry hurry, barely had time, dirty hurry, dirty hurry, hurry.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Get closer to me, baby, let me stay and.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
Love, love you love, Let's go mess around.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Did you watch the video on this one?
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yes, he's saying I'm gonna kiss you and don't make
a sound? Yeah, crapy, we need to call the authorities.
Are underage girls in the video. But see, I'm assuming
it's his daughters, like I certainly hope, so it's at
least worth a check. It's a hard drive check to
(10:33):
make sure.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
I watched, I went, oh my god, this guy's he's
singing about his lust for younger women.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I don't think he is. I think it's I think
it's like, hey, let me try to connect with my
thirteen year old daughter. Do you want to be in
my music video with your friends?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I think you're defending it, Ben, because you brought it
to the show. He said, let's go mess around. Well,
I think he's singing to an elderly woman. Wait, how
is that better? At least telling her not to make
a noise? Though, that is weird, right, So you've got
chin up high.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
By Pup Up, Up, Up Up up party girl. You
write it well, the underproduced jam by d Lo, do
It All, Dance Dance Move Move by at Sheila, beat
It by Auntie Roue, and Young and Free by Rayon Bass.
Go Christina, Uh, you said?
Speaker 3 (11:27):
There are some main comments on Auntie rous I'm going
for Anti Roo.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
It is a lot of alva for Auntie Roue as
well because of the racism. Yeah, I'm going with that.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Dlo is that his name, the guy that did the
acapellag Well I'm doing I'm his is incredible.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, and I will go with Auntie Roo as well.
Aunt She's gonna be coming. Could be sung. If you're
a Delo fan, I could be swung. Yeah, I mean no,
I really liked it. I thought it was so good.
And then when you watch her video and you get
to see how pleasant she is. She's just a nice lady,
just singing. Michael Jackson, well, I'll never get the time.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
KT looked Anti Rue dead in her eye and he
said to her, you can get over anything if you
try hard enough, and she did and she.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Recorded be it. That's gonna do it for us.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Coming up next, Christina is gonna keep the music going
right here on ninety z one point one The Eagle.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
