out about a very famous musical artist. The first person
that uses the talkback feature and can tell us who
that artist is, leave your name, your phone number, your
(00:22):
email address, and you will win those Seether and Daughtry tickets.
Back into the Cowboys here in about fifteen minutes. But
right now it's time for this.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Skinny track. Another edition of Things Shin is traffic all right?
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Random altercations out there in the world. Oh, people getting
in fights. They can be fist fights, are just yelling.
What percentage of those do you think derived from some
sort of parking or driving or some sort of scenario
involving cars. Golly, seventy eight percent, right, I mean I
(01:00):
could just I mean, I'm talking about random, not like, hey,
that's my neighbor that I hate and re yelling at
each other or whatever. I'm talking about random just out
there in the wild. Went to uh this, you know,
this morning at ten o'clock, I had to meet Ben
and some people over at over off Main Street and
Frisco where there's tons of construction, and so the normal
street that we turn onto is blocked off, and that's
(01:23):
the street that I normally park at when I go there.
So I just go further down the street and I
legally park in front of somebody's house. Okay, park, get
out of my car. This guy comes barreling up in
a truck, pulls up and then hops out and goes, hey, hey,
I can't you get You can't park there? And I'm like, well,
(01:46):
why it's a street. He goes, well, that that's my house.
And you know, I had that other truck. I don't
know why they're parked there, and uh, you know, I
got an adjuster coming and you can see next door.
We can't park there because it's like it's this weird
business house with it's got private parking and so there's
no street. It's like their driveway. You can't park in
front of a driveway. And I was like, I don't
(02:09):
know what to tell you, man, I'm late for a meeting.
He goes, well, this is the adjuster's coming. Where are
they going to part? He's like, man, that's not really
my issue. I'm late for a meeting. I'm legally parked here.
If you want to take my number down, you can
text me when the adjuster arrives and we can figure
something out.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
But I got to.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Go, well, can't you part down there? I go, no,
I'm going to a meeting. Do you not want to
take my number? If you don't want to take my number,
I'm walking away and he goes. He goes, well, I hope,
I hope it doesn't get towed. Okay, And that's when
I turn around and I say, if you e fing
touched my car, I know where you live now, so
you're gonna have a lot of problems.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Okay, that's a threat. Yep, they did. You've really you
turned up the heat because he threatened me. He threatened
to take my private property where I'm legally parked. Right.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Is that not your threat? I don't know that he could.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Technically, it would have to be parked illegally for him
to have you towed.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Right, you're not blocking his driveway.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
No, I'm inconveniencing him in an area where there's nothing
but construction and everyone's inconvenience.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I think you could have said.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
You recently have been toad also, which really amps that
up a little bit.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
But rendered in twenty one dollars and four hours on
a Saturday night.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
No, but you could have said, I don't think any
tow truck would tow me because I'm legally parked, but
feel free.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
To call him.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I could, or I could just say what I said,
because I offered him my phone number to be amenable
and to help him out, and he decided he wanted
to go somewhere else with it. So his response was, hey, man,
I'm not cussing. I said, I don't give an f
what you're doing. I offered this, you didn't answer, so
I'm leaving, now, deal with it.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
And I turn around and walked off. So hostile.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
See, I hear in cuss so much that I don't
like when someone else throws the cuss word at me.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
I don't really, it doesn't change was the tone that
they bother.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Some people like I told you that the time I
had a guy I was coaching his son in baseball
and I cussed at him and he tried to cuss
back at me.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
But he's not. He's not an accomplished cusser. He's Paul
Rudd and I love you.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Man.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
He was just stringing cuss words together that didn't and
he was so uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Darn, fart, damn. It's just another noun or verb or
sometimes adjective for me.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah, right, but you were overly nice to offer him
your phone number and then overly angry.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Yeah, because I didn't have time. You have time for
his I didn't have time for it. I offered a solution,
he didn't like it, and so I'm ready to move
on with my life. You know what, if he felt
threatened though, it's tough, man, I felt threatened when he
tried to still shoot you legally on and pull your
body on his property. If you if he felt threatened,
I mean that could happen.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Yeah. Yeah, I just don't understand how why they the
adjuster has to be involved.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
How what is he adding to this story?
Speaker 3 (04:56):
He's gonna be here later.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
The guys help me.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Maybe I left out the guys like, man, I'm trying
to sell this house. It was like, hey, okay, I
just ruined that guy's property value. Yeah, sorry, dog. I
think all the construction around is hurting you more than anything.
And then I got here and someone's in my parking space,
the reserve spot.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Go, it's great, hey man, what's your mouth?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I'm getting to the point as a guy who's worked
here for five years, like five and a half, let's
just go ahead and get rid of reserve parking because
there's a lot of reserve parking spots on the other
side of the building too that don't get used. Yeah, y'all,
just parking one of those I park, I think, and
what's in my reserved spot, But it doesn't really matter
because they're all empty, So you can just park on
(05:40):
that side.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Listen, that guy that got mad at me for legally
parking in front.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
You know what that guy needs. He needs a reserve spot.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
And if you're one of the people in this world
that's lucky enough to have a reserve spot wherever it is,
it is a pride.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Point for you.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Now on this guy's side, it is your p and
skin side. So what I did was the car that's
down in my space, I waited until being showed up
with those badass stickers.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Let's go that we made.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Sometimes you got to put a sticker on a car
to send a message, a loud message.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Since you guys bought a seventy dollars pack of fake stickers,
car says you're legally parked here.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Hey man, it's sticker law. I got stickered.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I cannot wait to find out that our new boss
parked in this spot. Right.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
I didn't actually take the backing off the sticker, did you.
Oh it's on there. It's gonna be hard to peel off.
There's gonna be sticker residue all over that thing. It
could require a new tent.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Valuable lesson, valuable lesson, don't park in a reserve spot.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Why would you do that? I mean that was not
We weren't saving that spot for an adjuster. It's reserved.
It's contractually designated for one person. They own it. You know,
who needs a reserve spot. Shoddy.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
We'll talk about the deeper cowboy concerns next right here
on ninety seven point one, The Eagle
