But right now it's time for.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
This, all right?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
It so.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Former Cowboys quarterback Mark Sanchez is an analyst on Fox.
He was doing the Colton Raiders game and he was
in Indianapolis for that. But sounds like you went out
for night on the town on Friday night. So one
thirty Saturday, Adam Schefter tweeted that Mark Sanchez had been
stabbed and hospitalized. Fast forward three hours later, Schefter reports

(01:13):
that's a double whammy that he was arrested in the hospital.
So you know, most people, when there's a a hostitalization
or an arrest, you're you're not doing both of them.
He was involved in two things, so then you're like, Okay,
what the hell happened. A few hours later, Fox puts
out a statement that Brady Quinn's gonna call the game

(01:34):
on Sunday, So I go, okay, this must be really serious.
At first it was he was stabbed, thoughts and prayers,
and then it turned into he was arrested on three misdemeanors.
So yesterday morning, get nine thirty, it's three misdemeanors. Well today,
around nine thirty this morning, it's like, it's actually a
felony charge of battery causing severe bodily injury. So here's

(01:55):
what happened. He gets into it with a sixty nine
year old old truck driver by the name of Perry told, okay, uh,
what's It's a weird name, but whatever, Mark Sanchez is
thirty eight, he's probably drunk. Allegedly, he confronts the man
for parking his truck in an alley between two hotels

(02:15):
and claiming he's not allowed to be there. Security footage
shows Sanchez tried to get into the truck multiple times,
and the situation escalates. At one point, Sanchez slams the
driver to the ground. Okay, The truck driver told police
that he used pepper spray to get him off of him. Oh,
and stabbed him out of self defense because he thought

(02:37):
Mark Sanchez was gonna kill him. He said, Mark Sanchez
smelled of alcohol slurn his words too. They're also saying
that the truck driver's story is kind of matching the
video security footage that we've seen. Now, I haven't gone
deep enough on the dark web to see, but I've
seen a couple of people who have seen the face.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I saw.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Perry told you saw it. I saw the Pace said
it's awful. Look if you never know when you see
stuff on the internet. What's what? But the pictures, if
these are accurate, He's got what looks to be a
gash going down the side of his face, and he
was wearing a neck brace and is it's completely beat up.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
And he told Sanchez, according to his side, dude, you
can't be in there. Get out of the truck. And
then Sanchez started beating him up. He used the paper
spray and then he said when he stabbed him that
Sanchez froze and fled the scene.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Because he was concerned and he was bleeding pretty heavily.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Why was he inserting himself in a parking dispute, dude?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
He sounds like he was hammy, you know what.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Mark Sanchez has always been interesting to me when he
calls NFL games because he usually gets like a crappy
the three oh five crappy game and she's like the
Cardinals in the Seahawks or something.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I thought he was in the college.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
He always sounds hammered every really, Yes, I love it
when he gets like one cowboy game of a year and
I'm like, oh, yeah, he is kind of drunkie.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
He was the gal that ended up in college. He
was in a hot tub with the gal that ended
up marrying j Cutler from the Hills or whatever that
thing was. Yeah, when he was at he was at USC, right,
he was that was Matt Lioner. Oh, I'm getting him
mixed up, right, You're right, Matt, Yeah, yeah, my bad,

(04:18):
I was getting mixed up.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Police chief of Marion County in Indianapolis said, quote.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I don't care who you are, I don't care what
you do for a living. If you come into our
city commit violence, we will use all the tools at
our disposal to hold you accountably. One to six years
in prison is what Mark Sanchez is facing now that
they've upped this charge to a felony.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Okay, does he have a track record of getting into
fistfights and public and stuff, But I don't think so.
What So he just got irked over a parking thing
because he was so drunk, and then he got pepper
sprayed and stabbed, and now his career's over and he's
going to jail.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
That's the confusing thing, and it's it is a it's
a terrible thing. But it's a little funny to me
because of all the tweets when the first Shifter tweet
went out, Oh my God, thoughts and prayers to Mark
Sanchez and his family in these times, and.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
There was a lot of let's hold on, there was
a lot of let's prosecute this perpetrator to the fullest
going on.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I can't just whip a seventy year old guy's ass
like you're a former NFL player, like, which is a
big dude. Ten years he was in the NFL. Yeah,
he was a cowboy. He was with Romo and Dak
Yeah yeah god. Oh all right, Brady Quinn.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Big day for him though, crazy story, all right?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Coming up next, I went to Vegas this weekend. What
on an adventure?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I'll share some stories.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Next, Guiltiest Charts with the stories. Don't miss that.
