Anthony Davis's agent, Rich Paul, has met with Mavericks' interim
co gms Michael Finlay and matt Riccardy and has requested

some clarity about whether the franchise wants to extend him
in the offseason or trade him ahead of the deadline. Davis,
who turns thirty three in March, will become eligible on
August sixth to sign a four year, two hundred and
seventy five million dollar max extension. Finland Riccardi accepted the

don't see the fit. The Hawks are very very interesting

to me because you know, they have Porzingis's expiring contract,
and they also are not up against the Apron, so
you don't you can send out more money than you
take back, which is what the Mavericks need and they
had do you know they got They got New Orleans
pick this year unprotected.

Orleans Pelicans pick in this draft, to me, that's an
no brainer, no disrespect to anybody involved. And I love
Anthony Davis as a Maverick. I think he's great on
the floor. These are things that are decided by an
agent and buy a front office. Right the front office
may want to keep him in. The agent may go,
we're not signing here no matter what, Anthony's going to

be a problem. Then you have to trade him. That's
the way those things work. That's why Oklahoma City is
where they are. Anytime the agent came to them and said,
my player's unhappy, great where does he want to go? Okay, good,
we'll facilitate the deal for them.

I know that the Lakers want Gafford bad and he's
got one of those contracts where he's tradeable.
